2362  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 30, 2015, 03:04:48 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

I'll choose gold probably because it is well known and the value is very good.

That's a quite good selection to invest in gold for next 10 years but if you want to take some advantage in case bitcoins also grow faster in next few years then you may invest little bit of your money into bitcoin but you must watch out on bitcoin prices very regularly because bitcoin prices can move very fast in any direction.
2363  Economy / Auctions / Re: Senior member auction. on: September 30, 2015, 02:10:37 AM
FYI that's almost the BIN amount for most Sr. Member account complete with signature campaign and sometimes with positive trust.

and you forgot to mention if signed message are available or not.

avaialble ... yes i will sell even if someone bids 0.17 ..it is reserved price ,i am not looking alot.

Auctions are generally supposed to start at a low price (lower than the normal buying price, usually much lower) and build their way up to possibly even higher. You're not supposed to start the bid at a price you're completely okay with. Roll Eyes

I think the owner have the right to fix the bid starting price what ever he/she wish at the first and if they don't receive any bids then they may consider to reduce it so we can't ask seller to reduce bid price much lower. I think for the account with activity around 350 the price 0.17 is quite reasonable price.
2364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In how many ways you can buy or sell Bitcoins? on: September 30, 2015, 02:03:11 AM
In my country I can buy from coinhako almost instantly with bank account. They charge around 1 to 2% fee but some times they give offer with less than 1% fee.

So for I didn't buy coins in any unique way. And I sold my coins on this forum for some decent profits.
2365  Economy / Digital goods / Re: how to buy an account and keep safe from spammer or cheatees? on: September 30, 2015, 01:56:56 AM
here i am thinking to buy an full member account but i dont have idea to make a deal and how can i be safe from cheater.

If you look at the auction and digital goods section you will find few of them to buy. After you finish the deal with seller you better use any trusted members as a escrow on this forum to send money if your dealing with new members.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 30, 2015, 01:50:01 AM
Next both matches will be very interesting because one day international is different type of game so will be good match to see between Pakistan and Zimbabwe whereas India vs South Africa that T-20 will be full of entertainment although Indian side is strong.

One day surely win by pakistan because zimbabwe batsmen can't even play 20 overs match then how they can complete 50 overs match so it will be good opportunity for us make some money. I will go with pakistan.

Another match India will win at home ground for sure.

Indian team very strong at home and for any other teams it will be quite challenging to beat India at home and in front of huge home crowd. Yesterday India A team itself defeated SA so it will give some boost to the indian team and they will play with more confidence. For first match I will bet on India and in Pakistan and Zimbabwe match as all of us know Pakistan will win the next match also.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 29, 2015, 02:27:37 PM
Pakistan won this match by 15 runs as expected and won this t20 series by 2-0, this is good start of the day with some profit as i batted on it @1.76, Pakistani bowlers did fantastic job to defend this low total again batting failed and not succeed to get big total.

Pakistan's bowlers yet again did a great job to win this second T20 match. They bowled tight lines from the start and the pressure build up on Zimbabwe's batsmen and they started losing wickets regularly. Zimbabwe's batsmen couldn't quite find the boundaries and sixes. It was a good match from pakistan team effort.
2368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 29, 2015, 12:45:07 PM
Pakistan playing like last match, and as per the run rate pakistan will score above 145+ in 20 overs , but today i think zimbabwe will bat some what sensible and we can expect zimbabwe coming favrite.

I think they will not reach 145+. Maximum they can score around 130 or less. This was very bad betting by pakistan team and they should be played much better game.

Now as per directbet site - pakistan will lose this match because bet odds just went 2.28 and Zimbabwe odds are 1.65.

Now it become difficult to predict the match results. Huh

Pakistan has reached 136 runs in 20 overs and it is almost like last match and lets see how home team will play in this match.

It was interesting innings from Pakistan again they finished with 136 but they got a much better start in this innings. They hit 12 boundaries in the first 12 overs but struggled to rotate the strike. Many batsmen got nice starts but just though way their wickets by hitting ball in air. But Zimbabwe again manage to ball in this match also now their bowlers need to do the rest of the job.
2369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin properties, which is the best? on: September 29, 2015, 06:12:50 AM
I think these are best properties:

-Frictionless - This is a key benefit for me
-Pseudonymous
-Decentralised

I would personaly add -Fast instrument

I like mostly the frictionless transactions with a super fast speed. We can send money from any place to any one within few seconds without any issues. And also the fee for the transactions are very less. I'm not much concerned about decentralized feature.
2370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your bitcoins ? on: September 29, 2015, 06:08:01 AM
I store my bitcoins on an online wallet protected by 2fa. So every time I access my account, I will receive a 6 digit code that I need to enter before I am able to access my account. The only risk that I have is I hope I will not lose my phone like I misplace it or get robbed.
I used to do that as well but became a hassle when for example I forget my phone(yup seriously forget it sometimes). Now I just use bitcoin core on my home PC, and work comp(no one has objected yet) along with updated antivirus although not sure if antivirus can protect from viruses or malware that effect my wallet.dat

I too use online XAPO wallet and blockchain wallets. I don't keep all coins at one place.

I have one question on desktop wallet. In case you need to reformat your PC due to some attack or some other reason but you don't have option to transfer coins from your desktop pc wallet before formatting. Then can we still recover our coins from wallet after the PC reformat done?

Thanks.
2371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Amount of Bitcoin for a profit on Trading ? on: September 29, 2015, 03:06:43 AM

If I were in your place I would start with 0.001 or so and try for a week or two at first. As you try and start, you will get ideas for creating a spreadsheet to record your tradings and calculating price averages, profits, fees and all that. Then you can decide to invest more.

Very good suggestion. If you're new to trading then better start with less money until you become familiar with the system.

I have to tell you most of the pp are losing money from trading even they get involved in it for long time. Trading needs to have some kind of knowledge or strategy otherwise you are wasting money. For you, I reccommend to invest for the long term.

This is very true. Most of the traders will lose money instead of making money from the system. Even experts also can't predict the price movements in Forex markets so you should be very careful when you enter into trading.
2372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: September 29, 2015, 03:00:30 AM
My strategy at trading is get low profit (5%-10%)
learn more about cryptocurrency news, buy at red line waiting good news, after pump sell it Wink

I tried this strategy of trading with new alt coins to get profit at 5% - 10%.
But i was impatient and i wanted immediately to see the profit so i was "forced" to sell at 0.5% - 2.5%
And even with that i was really happy, one suggestion is to invest 1BTC+ at once and the low percentage can give good money daily Smiley

good strategy, sometimes i do it too, better to get small profit than we lose at trading
anyway 3day ago I tried to make trades in huobi
i can earning 0.003-0.005 perday (0.5-1%) but this day i lose 10% because i sell my bitcoin at lower price (1512CNY)  Lips sealed

What you did is a very good move because while trading if you know when to cut your loses then you will be saved from big losses. In sometimes we can't predict prices, if your trade is going against you just exit and watch out for some time. This is common is trading and most traders will face this issue and some greedy people wait for prices to recover and may end up in big lose.
2373  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shibashi Dogemoto - member bid on my auction and ignored to buy it on: September 29, 2015, 02:46:57 AM
So I think you should re-open your auction, or ask the 2nd highest bidder to buy the item.
In my opinion, you should ask low ranked members/negative trust members sign a message of address(es) holding at least the amount he bids. This can prevent that kind of bidding.

that guy have no negative trust and should be a full member when he made that bid.

here's the link to the auction.

He said that the account needs to have very good post quality before he bid 0.053BTC, and have you sent the account name to him? If yes then he may found your account's post isn't of high quality (for example my account's report on satoshiquiz's PAID account checker: http://www.satoshiquiz.com/bitcointalk/getactivity.php?token=14434814013664f58a09 said that my account's post quality is 80.99% good, while account buyers requires 90% as very good). You may check your account at a FREE checker here: http://bctalkaccountpricer.info (however there maybe a queue there makes you need to wait), and make sure it shows 'very good' there.

What I understood from the OP post is that buyer not even responded to his first personal message then how seller can send account details to buyers?

If buyer started communication and reject the account means then what you said is correct. But from the OP's first post it is clearly saying buyer didn't respond then it looks like buyer do not want to buy after the bid got accepted.
2374  Economy / Speculation / Re: China market $245, Why bitstamp bitfinex refuse to follow and dumping? on: September 29, 2015, 02:35:38 AM
These are just normal exchange rate fluctuations that occur almost all the time between leading exchanges. Nothing alarming here in my opinion.

Nice rise today by the way!

That's true since last couple of weeks bitcoins prices are in the range of 230 to 250 level. I too didn't see any dumping happening. It looks the bitcoin prices become more stable now days compared earlier, it used have more than 10$ variation in a day.
2375  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: September 29, 2015, 02:31:57 AM
i think 1 btc will be worth like 500$ - 1000$ price range
cause small supply of coins will be produced in this years

500 to 1000 range will be possible by 2020 unless there is no bad news about the bitcoins to further damage the bitcoin image to use. The main problem with bitcoins is, it can be used in many non legal activities so it is not so popular to grow faster.
2376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 29, 2015, 01:57:50 AM
Today is second T20 match between Zimbabwe and Pakistan. I think this is another match we can predict results and make some money. But this Zimbabwe sometimes play unexpectly very well so it is better bet live when match is going on.

What you think, who will win?
2377  Economy / Speculation / Re: poll: will there ever be another run-up ? on: September 29, 2015, 01:51:10 AM
Predicting these BTC prices is the same as predicting prices for stocks. It's a guessing game. Unless something major happens, BTC will stay at the price they're at.

I think some time stock prices can be predicted based on company business module but bitcoin prices very difficult to predict because there no business module for it but its prices are completely depends on demand and supply so only good news about bitcoin will make prices to go high.

If I have the chance to choose between the two and would literally have it with me I would choose gold, I think it is acceptable in every part of the world.

Your choice is very good. Gold has proven that it will give a good returns over time. But the price movements are slow and its price will not move very fast instead it will go very slowly in both directions (moving up or downwards). I also regularly buy the gold and sell when I make a good profits.
2379  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: September 28, 2015, 03:28:34 AM
Running some project online may get the income to live from it but is very hard to have something unic, and when you see a sucess place ,some people try to copy and  well the project usually dies, happend with shares, cyclers, and many others.

That is called the competition in your business so after you come up with some thing really unique idea so you first need to make money as fast as possible from that idea before competition picks up and also you need to add new features to make it your always some thing different from others.
2380  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: September 28, 2015, 03:25:06 AM
I'm one of them whos waiting for $100 price of bitcoin and buy some of it. But I really don't want to see the price of bitcoin to become $100, it's alarming for me.

I think if price fall back to that level surely many bitcoin user will leave and move on to find some thing else. Because if price fall back to 100 then surely it will go to double digit and very difficult to pick up from that level. So I do not want that to happen instead I want prices to move up
