2361  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: July 16, 2016, 05:43:08 PM
The main problem is, you can't really know if your grand child or whatever, are going to be able to keep the password and decrypt the wallet to get the coins. I think it's too risky.. so I might enjoy the bitcoin myself.
2362  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: July 16, 2016, 05:31:48 PM
I have learned a lot about economy and the stock market. Before Bitcoin I was unaware of supply and demand, what an asset was, what a liability was, how a broker worked, what was margin trading... now I have learned all of that and it's all thanks to Bitcoin.
2363  Other / Off-topic / Re: What you do with BITCOIN ? on: July 16, 2016, 05:26:52 PM
As of right now, im still extremely focused in reaching the 21 BTC goal. Everything else is irrelevant until I reach the 21 BTC goal, I must get there before it's too late, or I might become suicidal in 10 years when 21 BTC means you are a millionaire.
2364  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: July 16, 2016, 05:22:55 PM
Some say it's a problem that people consider Bitcoins too valuable to spend them regularly but this is nonsense. People is free to spend their bitcoins or to hold them forever, this is not bad or good, it's just an option you have. I choose to hold Bitcoin and not waste it on stuff I can buy with dollars.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The higher roller . on: July 15, 2016, 03:14:53 PM
Well, to win big, you have to take high risks... high rollers take big risks and sometimes get huge rewards, but sometimes lose it all.

The real big high rollers are usually famous people with advertisement deals... casino says "you gamble here with us, and you get paid". So they never lose money. If they win the bet, then great, if they lose, then great anyway, since you still get ad revenue. Example: Floyd Mayweather, Dan Bizlerian... etc.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 15, 2016, 02:25:48 PM
One of the best ways to stop gambling is to become addicted to something else that isn't as bad as gambling... get some hobby that is actually productive and try to become the best at it, so at least you aren't going to be constantly at the verge of being broke.
2367  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will be reached at $1000 to $2000 in 2016 ? on: July 15, 2016, 02:17:53 PM
Yes, we will reach 1000 before December 31. 2000 also possible since the next uptrend will be very heavy. We are staying above 600 for a long time now so only way is up.
2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: July 15, 2016, 02:10:40 PM
The best way to not even feel worse regret and depression is to buy amd buy as much BTC as possible at whatever price, and hold 10 years from the time you buy. Only this way will save you from depressive suicide in 10 years when you are older and you realize you could have been rich again.
2369  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: July 15, 2016, 02:04:40 PM
Im not sure I will ever have kids, it's simply too dangerous nowadays. I would like to be able to enjoy my Bitcoin myself. I am still in my early 30 so in 10 years I will only be 40, so if in 10 year Bitcoin is 10,000+, I will be able to enjoy a decent amount of money myself.
2370  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: July 15, 2016, 01:53:52 PM
As of right now, there are not serious concerns on costumers on the way they pay, at least not in the developed world, but in the future, once the governments ban cash world wide, Bitcoin will be used by everyone daily, because they will be forced to find an alternative and Bitcoin is the best alternative.
2371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Karpeles on bail on: July 15, 2016, 01:45:55 PM
There are people on Reddit wanting to do an AMA with him. His Reddit username is "magicaltux". Maybe if enough people demand it, we can do an AMA and listen to his own version of how things went.
2372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: July 13, 2016, 03:25:28 PM
A casino can be fair at 50/50 and still make profit. In Bitcoin this is possible because they can process a lot of transactions and get fees from every transaction, so even if it's 50/50, they will still remain profitable but they will require a decent amount of transaction volume to get on the green profits, because they will need a lot of people on their service to get a big amount from the fees.
2373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 202: McGregor vs Diaz 2 betting thread on: July 13, 2016, 03:11:19 PM
I always love to see the Press Conference of McGregor. McGregor Trashtalk is really good, lol and about this match. I think McGregor got this match.

Yeah McGregor is a great trash talker and he is really cocky, but the king of shittalking is Floyd Mayweather when he was younger, in the last years he has been more humble and he has 0 losses. If McGregor losses again against Diaz he will not be able to back up is cocky personality.
2374  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 13, 2016, 03:02:31 PM
It's really risky getting involved in the loans game in crypto. All of the attempts I've seen thus far (like BTCJam and so on) have been mostly a failure because people is defaulting left and right and nothing happens, so people just get stop giving loans since it's pretty much like a gamble. Even the guys that got A+ level of certification somehow still defaulted. Im not saying 100% is a scam but a lot of people default.
2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newb question: Where to buy bitcoin with CC or Wire? on: July 13, 2016, 02:48:49 PM
I don't know the current situation about this, but what's clear is the fact that buying with credit cards in general is not really recommended. Again maybe the problems have been solved now, but as far as I know a bank transfer was the best way to go.
2376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If u were Warren Buffet would u buy 51% of Bitcoins? on: July 13, 2016, 02:42:01 PM
I would try to buy as much as possible, that's for clear. 51%? Im not sure that would be possible... but I would try to own as much as I can. The paradox here is, the people billions of dollars is too old/uninformed so they will not do it. It will be new people that become billionaires thanks to Bitcoin.
2377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memorizing Private Key on: July 13, 2016, 02:30:31 PM
Our brains are not designed to deal with such long string of characters. Unless the password is a readable one (real normal words, like the ones used to generate seeds) then it's just impossible, it's safer to save them in an encrypted text file (encrypted with an easier password just for some protection) than trying to pretend to memorize it.
2378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee will start BTC Mining on: July 13, 2016, 02:03:19 PM
John McAfee is not rich by coincidence, this guy is smart and he sees the importance of becoming an established miner. He is the first non-chinese to start a massive mining operation to try to compete against them. That's how it's done. We need more non-chinese people to start playing on the mining game to even it out.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 12, 2016, 02:24:08 PM
Pepe is one of the most aggressive players I have ever seen. He is famous in his Real matches for being reckless and one of the most dangerous in the field when it comes to faults, he has kicked a lot of ass, I think that guy has anger problems or something, he is always pushing the limit for a red card.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / UFC 202: McGregor vs Diaz 2 betting thread on: July 12, 2016, 02:22:47 PM
UFC202 is finally happening in august. Will McGregor be able to take back the title? I think he can win this time, he will be more ready now. He has dominated his weight class and Nate was too tall for him but this time he will be more prepared, he is looking ripped. Of course Nate has no fear and is ready to knock out anybody in the game so I still don't know who to bet for a win..
