2381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2021/22 Season on: May 19, 2022, 07:58:54 PM
In the first game of the Final Four, Anadolu Efes and Olympiacos played against each other. Even though the game was played in a neutral location in Belgrad, Olympiacos were like they played in their home court. I think that Olympiacos supporters deserve to be celebrated. Larkin and Bryant helped Anadolu Efes stay in the game until the last quarter. Even though he played badly until then, Micic who was the MVP of last season managed to carry the team to the final by a buzzer-beater.
Micic, what a clutch player. It wasn't easy game for him, but in decisive moment he took responsibility, after in 2nd half Larkin was completely stopped. Amazing semifinal, but honestly, I expected something similar. And that Ataman's smile after game, simply priceless Cheesy.
In other semifinal Barca lead by 11 at halftime. Mirotic is pplaying like MVP is supposed to play, Lapravittola is solid too. But I don't think that it's over, Real missed some open 3-pointers, they can't to continue missing for whole game.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 IIHF World Championship on: May 19, 2022, 07:48:24 PM
@TopTort777, not bad prediction, Kazakhstan were able to stay in the game for long. But I expect that in 3rd period Canada will score few more goals, as result of Kazakhs getting tired after playing big intensity.
Team Norway is doing great so far. They have always end at +12th place, now they are already in quarterfinals. Which means they will be on 8th place minimum.

So far this years tournament is rather quite. No scandals. No huge penalties. And I have watched only 1 game Cheesy
Are you sure about Norway? They are 5th now with 3 games remaining. Games with direct competitors Czechia and USA will be decisive for them.
About whole tournament so far, good point from you, I also would like to add that we didn't had any big upsets.
Tomorrow's games doesn't looks very attractive, maybe Latvia - Austria might be interesting, but both teams isn't likely to fight for playoffs.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2021/22 Season on: May 19, 2022, 03:56:15 PM
On paper Efes is better team than Olympiacos, but I don't see them having any advantage.  Oly will have huge support from fans in Belgrade. But my money is on Efes.
Barcelona this season won all their games against Real and few of it were easy. But in late part of season Real started to look better, so Barca isn't that big favorite.
I really wish to see repeat of last season final Efes - Barca.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 18, 2022, 10:00:38 PM
When you score all 5 penalties in shootout, you rarely can lose game. All shots were so well made that McGregor had no chances to save it. Congratulations to Eintracht!
About whole game, it was typical final, not most beautiful to watch and it's nothing surprising that 90 minutes weren't enough.
So, Bundesliga next season will have 5 teams in Champions league. And it's first time when team from Germany wins Europa league.
2385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League Thread 2021/2022 on: May 18, 2022, 08:08:14 PM
Very intense second leg of play-off match Nottingham vs Sheffield Utd, that is in extra time after Sheffield turned around result in second half.
Nottingham was better in first half but second half was dominated by Sheffield Utd and they deserved to be in extra time, but I didn't expect this because they had many missing players today.
Penalties decided this time, goalkeeper Samba was the hero, and Nottingham is going in Championship play-off final against Huddersfield!
Sheffield were really close to win this game without going into extra time. But it didn't happened. And penalty shootout, you don't see every day goalkeeper making 3 saves, he was main star of night. And like usually happens in such Championship games, fans invaded pitch after game. It's time for Nottingham to final return to EPL.
2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 IIHF World Championship on: May 18, 2022, 07:55:33 PM
Sad to see to low interest to IIHF. Or people wait for play-off, time where real challenge starts.

As for today, I suggest not to miss Finland vs Sweden match. Team Sweden is packed with a lot of players from U18, that are 2021 champions. Finland is Finland. They will show usual dirty hockey with a lot of pressure.

I think I am gonna follow team Germany games. They improve from year to year and often make upsets during group stage.

Tomorrow Canada vs Kazakhstan might be a funny game to watch Cheesy
Yeah, I expected a bit more activity when I made this topic. But on the other hand, interest in hockey is low on Bitcointalk in general, we don't even have active NHL thread.
Finland - Sweden is good game indeed, fight for 1st place in group, nothing surprising that it went to ET and penalties where only Sweden goal let them to win.
Yeah, Kazakhstan - Canada should be fun, I'm going to look for goals over markets there Cheesy.
2387  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland and Sweden OFFICIALLY announce their intention to join NATO on: May 18, 2022, 07:21:36 PM
Ukraine needed to think about this before cultivating an anti-Russian policy and building its national self-identity on the idea of "Ukraine is anti-Russia."

n addition, you talk about the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO as a fait accompli, but Turkey explicitly expresses its disagreement and readiness to use its veto. Erdogan owes Putin and it seems the time has come to repay the debt.
Like anti-Russian thing in Ukraine happened without any reason and actions of Russia didn't caused it.
I'm not talking about it as already happened fact. Turkey isn't completely against it, but they have some demands for Finland and Sweden in order for them to join NATO.

2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 18, 2022, 06:12:27 PM
Probably Eintracht will win, but I think a good bet today would be both teams to score, at odds of 1.8... In general, this year's final is unusual - the Bundesliga underdog meets this year's big sensation Rangers... Probably no one expected these teams to meet in the final, beating Barcelona, West Ham, Atalanta and other favourites...
Yeah, before season it was imposible to predict that these tw teams will be in the final. Especially considering that both teams don't have successful season in domestic leagues. Eintracht is just mid table team, while Rangers didn't managed to defend their title against Celtic.
Eintracht IMO deserves title more, considering what teams in the road to final they eliminated, Rangers had easier path a bit. But I don't see that they have significant advantage and it's 50/50 game.
2389  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland and Sweden OFFICIALLY announce their intention to join NATO on: May 17, 2022, 08:09:49 PM
So, Russia should be happy now. Instead of potentially having border with NATO in Ukraine in future, now they will have 1300km border with NATO in Finland, just less than 200km from north capital St. Petersburg, plys Sweden nearby. Actions of Russia in Ukraine simply left no other choice for Sweden and Finland and pushed to join NATO. They can't stay neutral.

Putin said today that he has no problems with Finland and Sweden. But if their entry into NATO entails existential threats to Russia in the form of NATO military bases or US nuclear arsenals appearing on their territory, then Russia will make its military-technical response, whatever that means.
Is it not double standard? Why Finland and Sweden can join NATO and Ukraine can't. Before war started, Ukraine wasn't even close from joining NATO, not even talking about NATO military bases and nuclear weapons there.

Damn, it's already 2nd time when you changed your name. I think it's unique case. And at the same time when other users don't get chance to change their name even once.
IIRC, first time you also changed your name because of impersonators, but I'm not really sure how it will help. If they were able to impersonate you with 2 previous usernames, what will stop them from doing same with current one?
2391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that some signature campaigns prioritize clients in some cases? on: May 17, 2022, 07:25:21 PM
I don't know what would you like to believe me? Just look at a fake campaign that someone created quite recently. Two pages are full of applications and ahd been filled up fairly quickly.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5398617.0

I wrote that it is not easy to get into the 1xbit campaign which is just a fact. If it were otherwise, everyone would be accepted, but it is not.
It's not easy to get into 1xbit campaign not because it's high quality campaign where best posters is accepted. It's because 1xbit campaign have limited slots available, unlike probably worst ever campaign in terms of quality - Yobit. And there is more people who ready to ruin their reputation for few bucks than available spots.
2392  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 16, 2022, 08:48:39 PM
Here is statement from Azov commander Denis Prokopenko:
https://t.me/KyivIndependent_official/4401
Zelensky is going to make statement about Azovstal today.
You call a "democratically elected government" what was elected five years after the anti-constitutional coup in Kyiv in 2014 (Euromaidan), when 1 million protesters decided for 45 million Ukrainians how they should live, without holding a general vote. Protests against the illegal coup were brutally suppressed in Mariupol and Odessa in 2014. Acting President of Ukraine Aleksandr Turchynov initiated an anti-terrorist operation (ATO) against the DPR and LPR, and under this sauce the Kyiv authorities bombed their own population for several years, as a result of which 14,000 people died, including more than a hundred children. Residents of the republics unrecognized by Kyiv at first didn't want to separate from Ukraine at all, they just wanted to remain part of the country, but to be given the opportunity to speak and teach children in Russian. But after the brutal treatment of the people of Donbass by the Ukrainian government, they now perceive it as a sworn enemy. Euromaidan in Kyiv is as if Trump supporters in 2021 managed to carry out a coup d'état by capturing the Capitol, and then they would call their government democratic.
Considering Ukraine a democratic state is at least naive.
Under President Petr Poroshenko (2014-2019), the Prosecutor General of Ukraine was thrown out of office in exchange for $1 billion when his personality didn't suit the American government (read - Biden). This is direct proof that Ukraine is just a US puppet.
Zelenskiy is now banning opposition parties in Ukraine and, in fact, only one state-owned TV channel operates there.
In March, a member of the first Ukrainian negotiating delegation, Denis Kireev, was shot dead in Kyiv by SBU officers because he could support Russia. In April, Zelensky took hostage the head of an opposition party, Ukrainian citizen Medvedchuk, and wanted to exchange him for captured Ukrainian soldiers. I don't remember something like that in the history of democratic states, so that their citizens were forcibly captured, in order to be later exchanged for other soldiers of their own.
In Ukraine, they even publicly kidnap priests.
In the so-called democratic Ukraine, citizens *suspected of theft* - instead of taking them to the police - are tied to poles, doused with green paint, take off their pants and beaten. Is this the standard of democracy to which we should strive?
And Western propaganda is at least no better than Russian propaganda. German journalists deleted video with uncomfortable eyewitness testimony from Mariupol. The Spanish TV channel deliberately did not insert subtitles with a translation about how the Azov people threatened to kill civilians. The English "journalist" abruptly interrupted the broadcast when he had nothing to object to the Russian diplomat. The Italian magazine La Stampa published a photo from Donetsk, which was hit by a Ukrainian rocket for a photo from Kyiv. There are many more examples of how people in Western countries are being brainwashed.
You posted lot of shot and how surprising everything goes from perspective of pro-Russian narrative. And I'm not sure how seriously I can react when you're using some random Russian telegram with Z letter or Maria Zakharova as source. Ok, I'll try to answer some of your statements.
Maidan isn't first similar revolution. Orange revolution happened decade ago before Maidan. But you don't call it anticonstitutional because it doesn't probably fits your narrative.
ATO goal is regaining occupied territories and bring it back to control of Ukraine. You want to tell that intention of it  is bombing and killing civilians. And like Russia would be completely not responsible for these deaths.
They're not banning oposition parties, they banned parties which have open pro-Russian views. And it happened only when full scale war begin. I think this move is completely understandable.
One state owned channel in Ukraine is big lie. "United news" is union of private and state owned TV channels. Here is more detailed article about it:
https://www.liga.net/politics/articles/uarazom-no-bez-poroshenko-kak-ustroen-telemarafon-i-kto-ego-kuriruet-ot-zelenskogo
And many channels aren't involved in it, including 5th Channels which belong to Poroshenko.
Here is official statement about Kireev:
https://gur.gov.ua/content/ukraina-vtratyla-svoikh-viddanykh-syniv.html
As said there, he and two other officers die while completing task. Articles about Kireev getting killed by SBU officers is
nothing more than rumour.
Medvedchuk hostage? C'mon. He was under home arrest, then ran away and was arrested. And like Russia didn't kidnapped any local politics of occupied territories, for example mayor of Melitopol. Exchsnge Medvedchuk for captured Ukrainians, I don't think it was bad offer.
These marauders tied to poles, it was first days of war when Ukraine was under big chaos. Suspected of theft or getting caught? And  it's not just thefts, it's help for occupants, like making white marks for Russian rockets.

2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 IIHF World Championship on: May 16, 2022, 07:34:02 PM
And now there is few interesting results, though, not an upsets yet. Norway won against Great Britain just after penalties, while USA won against Austria after extra time.
Sweden won against Czechia 5:3 in best tournament game so far.
Latvia achieved first win by beating Norway today. It's important win in fight for playoff spot.
Canada continue to dominate, while hosts Finland got easy win against USA.
2394  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 15, 2022, 08:57:21 PM
I'm not really sure from where exactly this narrative about hundreds of millions $ of Zelensky come. Dif someone provided more solid proof than some random tweet? In fact, he isn't poor, he is millionaire, made money from comedy and TV production, but these numbers like $850 million or $1.4 billion is just ridiculous:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/mattdurot/2022/04/20/president-zelensky-is-not-a-billionaire-so-how-much-is-he-worth/?sh=28ea84855bb0

Particularly coming from Putin. The guy is got assets all over the world and, allegedly even a full sized real-emperor like palace in Russia.
No no, Putin isn't rich at atll, according to his officilal disclosure. How he can lie to us:
https://qz.com/1594989/vladimir-putins-financial-disclosure-claims-little-wealth/
Quote
Vladimir Putin’s latest financial disclosure has been posted on the Kremlin website, showing the Russian president earned roughly $135,000 in 2018 from his official salary, a military pension, interest on savings, and investment gains.

Putin reports owning an 830 square-foot apartment in Saint Petersburg, along with a 193 square-foot garage, as well as use of a 1,600 square-foot flat in Moscow. He claims to have two vintage Volga GAZ M21 sedans (in the $14,000–$16,000 range on eBay) as well as a Lada Niva SUV (which starts at about $6,800, new) and a retro-fabulous Skif tent trailer, which goes for about $900.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 15, 2022, 08:47:26 PM
So on last round Milan have everything in their hands by leading by 2 points. Both Milan and Inter will play against teams which already fight for nothing. But, Inter will play at home and also Milan lost 2 last games against Sassuolo.
It's possible that after few years break Atalanta won't qualify to UEFA cups. Though, in last round their direct competitors Fiorentina will play against Juventus. But, IMO, both Fiorentina and Roma deserves these spots more.
Not at home so I can't check it at the moment but I believe this should be updated for current season and reflecting real state of our bank. I try to make those things clear after registrations close so that there isn't any misunderstandings.
From what I see, OP was last updated in October, so probably it's this season numbers. Though, don't pretend to win something, Serie A is just not my league Smiley. Anyway, still going to joing if you'll make pool next season.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Polish League - Ekstraklasa Prediction & Discussion Thread ⚽ on: May 15, 2022, 08:40:10 PM
Congratulations to Lech, but I feel kinda disappointed, I wanted Rakow to win title. Underdogs without big history, who know when next time they will have such chance. And, yeah, it's sad to see how Wisla has fallen. It was big power 10-15 years ago, but considering their recent years performance, probably it was only question of time when they will drop from league.

I wonder in Gornik Leczna will fight again for the Ekstraklasa or if they stay in the lower league for longer.
Difficult to say. From what I understand, this club don't have much money, so it will be difficult. It's not first time when they drop in recent years, but they never were able to get promoted on the same season. BTW, Legnica got promoted to Ekstraklasa, second team will be Widzew or Arka Gdynia and 4 teams will fight for one spot in playoffs.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 15, 2022, 07:57:11 PM
I just wasted 2 hours of my life watching Barca game, it was so boring without much action. I'm sure that all 8 other games was better choice to watch...
Cadiz draw with Realkeep them in fight for spot in league and in last round they will play against already relegated Alaves. Mallorca also achieved important win. Levante win against Alaves didn't helped, they're already relegated. This is only team which I will miss in La Liga.

I guess theirs is the only match that does not have any influence on fight for European positions or relegation battle and they used the opportunity to get a bit more TV rights cash for LaLiga without compromising fairness. Did not check other games but this one is played literally for nothing. Both teams are firmly stuck in the middle of the table.
Yeah, you're right, they always do same thing with meaningless games. Now all 10 games in last round also scheduled to play at same time, but I'm sure they will re-schedule meaningless games to different time slots.

Game between Famalicao and Benfica is closing 2021/22 season. In last round all Porto, Benfica and Sporting achieved confident wins without conceding a goal.
So, to summarize positions of teams, Porto and Sporting goes to Champions league group stage, Benfica to it's qualifiers. Braga and very unexpected Gil Vicente goes to Conference league qualifiers.
Belenenses and Tondela relegate to 2nd division, Moreirense will play for spot in league with 3rd place of 2nd division - Chaves.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 21/22 - discussion thread on: May 15, 2022, 05:57:01 PM
So, Eredivisie 21/21 season come to the end today. There was enough surprises in final round. Ajax only in last minutes managed to achieve 2:2 draw with Vitesse. Walwiijk quite unexpected won against AZ away. Feyenoord at home lost to Twente 1:2.
If we already knew exact positions of top 4 teams, now we also know which teams will fight in playoffs for spot UEFA Conference League qualifiers. It's AZ, Vitesse, Utrecht and Herenveen.

Guys, did you saw what Leclerc did today? There was event of historical F1 cars in Monaco and he crashed 1974 Ferrari of Niki Lauda:
https://youtu.be/MN-3hXcWg1E
It should be shitty feeling to crash such legendary car, especially at your home track.
BTW, I'm amazed how small these old cars looks compared with current ones. In old days it was possible to race and overtake even in Monaco track.
