2381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 04:13:55 PM
I dont think that it smart because you also dont even know what will happen in the future with the value of Bitcoin so that is really bad and risky.
But you can do many things indeed with Bitcoin but it is better to see Bitcoin as a bonus or something.

i think full time is good choice, some people get salary only $300 and if he focus at bitcoin he can earn 1btc/month , so it's better to go full time on bitcoin.
withdraw $300 as "real salary" then save some for investment

Can you constantly earn 1 btc monthly? If so, then you can go and quit you job. But if you can't, you don't have to quit. You can do both and save yourself from financial troubles in the future. Having two source of income is better than just one.
It depends on where you live. If you live in a place where it takes less than 1 btc monthly to sustain yourself then that's okay. You can also obviously mine to start off with if it's profitable and I think that would earn you a nice profit

Mining now is very expensive and will not be profitable if you only have a few mining machines. So you cannot rely on it unless your electricity is free. And I think you will be burn out if you always try to reach 1 bitcoin a month. It is not easy to earn 1 bitcoin these days.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 08, 2016, 04:10:28 PM
One of the best techniques to save money is making trying to invest it a chore: Put it on bitcoin in cold storage and hide it really well under a good password. When you think about using it you'll be too lazy do to the whole process. It's like not having too much money on your pocket wallet.
The only way I save money is that a take a percentage of every earning that I get and put some on the side. That is how I save money and I keep doing this.

That is a traditional way. Mine is better. You make your income bigger so that youbhave more excess. The excess money you put somewhere as your savings. You do not have to be thrifty to save, just make your income bigger and savings will come naturally.
2383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 04:07:21 PM
PayPal is pretty good if you ask me but I think bitcoin is way better with its security these days.
If the bitcoin will get bigger it also will be much better than the PayPal.

Bitcoin is already way better than paypal right now. The only disadvantage of bitcoin from paypal is that paypal has a bigger user and merchandiser base. Other than that, bitcoin is the winner all the way.

Unless PayPal allows users to send, receive and shop without linking a bank account or card (which I don't have), I'd rather use bitcoins. Plus, sites like Amazon don't accept bitcoins (yet).

Paypal will never let that happen because they are strictly obeying the law and they do not want their service to be used in money laundering. So proving identity and tying your account to a bank makes them more legit. And that is why I switched to bitcoin. No id, no banks.
2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 08, 2016, 04:01:28 PM
I think it is quiet easy to teach someone else about the bitcoin because the only thing you have to tell them is that it is an coin that has a variable price and you can buy all kind of stuff online.

It is easy to say that things, but to make them actually use and believe in bitcoin is the hard part. They will always think that it is just like gems in a game, and can easily go out of value when the game lose its fame.
2385  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 08, 2016, 03:57:41 PM
I think saving bitcoins is the best way to earn money and better than investing in any site for newbies.
Because if you chosen wrong site to invest, you might just end up loosing the initial amount too.

Saving them now is good indeed due to the fact that the bitcoin has a very good future if you ask me, its just a matter of time before you can make profit with it.
Most likely around the halving or after it.

If you convert fiat into bitcoin, then it can be considered as investing on bitcoin. It is not saving because if you bought at a wrong price, you can lose money. Now that the price is really high, it is not wise to buy bitcoin. Better wait when the holders dump their coins and the price drops.
2386  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2016, 03:53:53 PM
Assuming bitcoins are indeed profitable, I'll hoard some by mining and probably invest it in somewhere trustworthy.

But while I don't have the mining tools I'm just earning by gambling lol.

You will never earn thru gambling. It is a lost cause to use gambling as a source of income. You can win every now and then but the total amount you bet will always be more than what you win. You will be just wasting time and money in it.
2387  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2016, 09:45:43 PM
I don't know what to say, i have no plan to get rich with bitcoin i think ,maybe i will get some money from halving and than i will create something but now i don't know.
me too i don't have plan to be rich in bitcoins , its just a part time and sideline job , i want to do real job cause i can get good money from that , you can't be rich in mining site.

Bitcoin is a currency, if you do not have plan to be rich on bitcoin, then you do not have plan to be rich at all. Whether fiat or bitcoin, if you want to be rich, you can make plans on becoming one. There is nothing wrong in making plans to be rich, it is a good thing. The bad thing is if you do not have any ambition at all.

You should know.and study the investment first before putting any money in it. If you just put money on any investing sites without studying it first, then you are like throwing your money away. Invest on trusted investments and you will never go wrong. It is always good to have some sort of investment.

2390  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with your btc? on: June 07, 2016, 03:43:57 PM
did you think about it as a bad investment opportunity when it cost like 10 dollars a few years ago? who can be sure that the price wont raise that much as it did again or it can reach even bigger heights

I remember hearing about it thanks to NPR when they followed bitcoin in 2012 and did their own little experiments with it. I think the price was even cheaper than $10. But I certainly didn't understand it well enough to appreciate its investment potential.

So, just like the vast majority of holders (though I'm not ashamed to admit it), the first coin I bought was $600+, and its been nothing but a steady decline since. If you think otherwise its because you don't know how to read charts or identify trends.

To get technical, the floor seems to be about $210-$215. But if it drops below that, watch out, $10 BTC here we come.

Going the other way, if it breaks above $270 or so, I think it could very well be the next "step" and could reach $2000+ a coin.
There are allot of people who dont know what to do with their coins and are just holding them but they need to be spend because otherwise the price of the coin wont change anything, So what i want to buy with coins i buy.

I myself is just holding my coins. Let others drive the bitcoin price higher and I will just reap the benefits from it. Anyway, I only hold a small amount of bitcoin so moving it around by spending will not make any change in bitcoin price. So I will just hold and wait.

I might be heading for redundancy later this year and I'm not doing much to avoid it. I reckon, subconsciously, crypto trading could be a better option than my day job. I guess I'll find out soon enough  Undecided

Well if you think crypto trading is better than your day job. It's up to you and it depends on how you really badly need big earnings, it is
essential to everyone of us to have good earnings. But why not do it at the same so that you can max out your earning.

Very true, I'd rather do both but the reason I may be without a day job soon is because I spend far too much time managing my portfolio and reading crypto forums at the office. It doesn't escape my managers' attention Grin

That is wrong. If you want to do both, do bitcoin outside your day job. You really will be fired from work if you do bitcoin in your jobs hour. You want to save your day job because it provide fix and steady income. You don't want it ruined by your part time job.
2392  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 07, 2016, 03:29:46 PM
I would honestly now just invest in the bitcoin because it has a good future a head and the bitcoin is gonna rise to a high amount this year without any doubts.
I think the bitcoin is gonna rise to a high amount this year.

Why would you do one thing I honestly would do it both at the exact same time so if the bitcoin does not go very well you still have some money for other things.
See it a as a back up for later.

Right, if you can do both, why not? It is better if you save some and invest some. So if investments fail, you have your savings to fall back on. You won't be broke and you can start over again.

Faucet is a good start. Even if it just have low free satoshis it is still free. Bitcoin price is so high now so those low free satoshis are worth it. She will still feel some money moving. Better than dollar ptc.
Sorry, but no. Faucet is not a good start. I tried this method some time ago when faucets were paying even more than now.
At first my friend was very happy, but then he kept asking about how much exactly he is earning with this method.
When I  told him he can check it with preev.com he said that this level of payment is bullshit. And it is waste of time to try to earn from Bitcoin faucets.

Faucet is good for getting the feel on how the bitcoin system works. Setting up wallet, getting paid thru it and moving your money around by buying or just transferring. It is best for newbies so they can try out bitcoin. They do not need to stay on it for a longer period of time as necessary. Just enough to have an experience on bitcoin.
2394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: June 03, 2016, 02:35:38 PM
I think the chinese will lead the rise, they have to as I have said before they are facing a -50% in profits. so my theory is they will try pump it massive and set off a fomo hype, then after the halving price will crash like foook

We.already seen that move before. And everytime the market.price falls.after that,  there will be a consolidation and the market will recover and move even higher than it was previously. So, there is no worry about that. Let the chinese manipulate the price and let us ride and benefit from it.

To save some money you must dont be greedy otherwise it will be not possible to save some money because than you are just only spending and that is really bad.
But you have also to make an investment if you want to earn some more money later so you can get some profit.
I think for saving money being a bit greedy and not much is fine and also it is a prerequisite. Investment is a solution for increasing the saved money.
Investment not always ended with a good result, sometimes you can hit the rock and loss.
Instead of getting a good profit and increased the saved money it can make you in a loss.
If you really trying to save money , just save and keep it!

If you just keep your money then you are losing to inflation. Inflation rate is greater each year, and if you just stuck your money somewhere, then time will come it will be worthless. But if you let it work thru investment, your money earns and keeps up with inflatio.
2397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 01, 2016, 12:35:46 PM
Yes im holding it long time ago, ive just save up 0.4 in my wallet , im preparing for bitcoin halving next month

Good, hold it, majority of people are following the same, no one can afford to sell now, price is moving up in a great speed so we can expect some good value at the time of halving.
The most people with Bitcoin are now indeed waiting for a nice price increase and that is because they think that the value will be higher in the future and the halving is also coming towards to us.
But it will be really hard to know what will happen in the future with Bitcoin but holding will be now the best thing that you can do with Bitcoin.

The future of bitcoin is good as will see better and higher bitcoin in future, so holding is the choice of all the user and no one wants to play with their profits at this stage.

I.still play with some of my coins thru trading. Lately there is a good movement in price so I made a little profit out of it. It I more profitable to trade some coins while holding the others so that your coins are not all idle and waiting for halving.
2398  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 01, 2016, 12:30:23 PM
I am not gonna quit my dayli job to go full time on bitcoin, not now. Need to be very exerienced to make yourself as full timer with good profit, it's so hard for me.
The decision is always on us, but I would advise to everyone who is in the cryto world to study and focus on this as we the early adopters should take the opportunity to earn by investing or even working here, I can see the future of fully digital adoption among countries and that would simply mean if you are holding a coins now with a small amount in the future its a guaranteed profit due to increase of demands.

But you don't have to quit your job to do. If it can be done as part time work with your day job the better. You can earn as an early adopter of bitcoin and still having a steady income that a regular job can provide.
2399  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: May 31, 2016, 11:34:21 AM
governments simply aren't interested in incorporating bitcoin. they can't deal with the fact that it is something they can't control. paper money will stay at least for another 10-20 years.
Paper money is going to stay for another couple of years because it is going to be a whole process to make everything digital. I think that it is going to be different per country because not every country can afford it.

Paper money will always survive and it will always be used by majority of people and bitcoin can never take over paper money in future too.

No, paper money will be gone in a decade. When asked, Christine Lagarde said that she doesn't believe cash will exist in 10 years, so do the math. We are going to a society with no physical cash, this is why Bitcoin will be worth thousands of not millions of dollars a coin. I don't understand how many times I have to say this until people realize.

People don't really want to use digital money and goverment will not do smth like this without agreement of others. And after poll i think we will still use paper money.

Yeah people dont really use digital money cause you know, credit cards arent digital right lol.

I dont see the debate here, cause government can be involved if they passed some fincen money transmitter law which can be accepted if they wanted.
well wouldnt that be the same thing to say that bitcoin is not digital because you have to use a telephone to spend it like you have to use a credit card in order to spend your money

in my opinion in the future there will be no paper money left at all because all people will be using cryptocurrencies as they will become more and more popular at a very rapid pace
Doesn't sounds realistic, there will be certain percentage of people who will prefer to use paper money even in the future, its impossible to believe that paper money will simply disappear.

It is not impossible. It is always possible that humanity will totally switch from using paper to digital money. If digital currency will offer ease of access, then it will be more used. Problem is, right now, like in our country, not all places have access to internet. But if the time comes that internet and devices is accessible to everyone, then digital currency will be used more.
2400  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 31, 2016, 11:26:44 AM
for now, if I have 10 BTC maybe I'll hold it, because I'm sure in a few months of bitcoin prices will be higher, probably bitcoin prices will be above $ 600 and it was probably the right time to sell bitcoin

Same here. I think holding that 10 bitcoins is really good for now. As you can see, the price of bitcoin is really increase so high right now and better keep holding your bitcoin.

That's what I'm going to do if I have that 10 btc given to me, because price now really have been good since last day. And it rapidly grow
this week. Your 10 btc if the price continuous to increase.
There is a chance take it will be doubled.
That is a lot of money but I will hold it until the value will be more worth so I can earn some nice profit with ti and that would be really nice if that is possible for me.
But of course it is hard to know what will happen with the value in the future but that is the risk that you have to take.

There is no risk in holding, price will surely rise in future and you can sell when you see the affordable price and make some good profits from it.

I think holding bitcoins also have a risk. If the price of bitcoin suddenly going down, you are loss some amount of dollars, because the price will different.

Even if the price goes down, there will still be other opportunities to sell your coins. It was proven before that bitcoin can bounce back to a higher price. All you have to do is hold and wait. But if you panic sell, then that is when you lose profit
