I think the received nt price increase is a good chance to profit so I'll be selling some btc. The price will certainly see some downward fluctuation prior to the halvening so I'd be able to get more bitcoins in the end by reburying.

Nice so why not holding for a bitcoin price increase when hold everyone for bitcoin price increase then some time after sell the bitcoin they will get  more profit with bitcoin.

I agree it is better if you are going to hold bitcoin today because for sure price will increase and it already happened today it reached $500, but possibility of dump is always there.
But we need to be positive so that positive outcome will also come. And hoping that it will reach higher than $500.

The stragey  should be that we sell when price is high and wisely again wait for price to be low to buy and  increase your coins quantity. The goal here is to increase your hold coins (while the price is low).

We need to wait for the perfect timing to sell or to buy, making sure that we can earn from it. IMO we need to be careful about that, because when we sell or buy in the wrong timing, we can have less rather than more.

Nice tip. We can't mention numbers here and say that it's price is high or low. It depends on the owner indeed If he think that it's okay to buy/sell at that rate, then he can. He knows if he will earn profit from it or not

I don't hold it for price increase but what I do is much like that. I spend my bitcoin at trading sites to by some cheap alt-coin with good potential then hold it for a week or even a month to sell it at higher price. Bitcoins movement is not that big compared to some alt-coins where your profit can be thrice bigger than your capital. Plus can't buy 1 btc and wait for it to sold at 50% profit. It takes too long time than alt-coin.

I have a long-term target for my coins. I will sell a part of my Bitcoin horde, only when BTC cross the $10,000 per coin mark. I don't know how much time it is going to take. I am waiting for the last 4 years, and I have the patience to wait for another 10 or 20 years. Even if Bitcoin becomes worthless at some point in the future, I won't be much bothered about it. It is not a life or death situation.

Bitcoin is a very risky investment and I understand it. I am fully aware that there is a good chance of Bitcoin becoming completely worthless in the future. If that happens, then I will be disappointed, but not heart-broken. And I have set strict guidelines for the future. I am going to sell 50% of my coins once the exchange rate touch $10,000 per coin. I will not wait for the prices to increase any further.

I think it's more likely that $530 is the new floor as the price touched $365 yesterday I think and it has gone down since then but it seems to be hovering around the $535 mark as of now. I thought we would have at least $550 today but unfortunately the pump has stopped. Do you think this is a normal correction of the price factoring in the upcoming halving or is it just a common pump and dump on a smaller scale? I think the real pump hasn't started yet as there is still more than a month until the halving.

I definitely will hold my Bitcoins for the next price increase like you. It is expected to happen after the next halving which will take place on next year. I think that the majority of Bitcoin users  are waiting for this exciting moment to profit. Even still, I spend some BTC to buy goods such as physical coins and etc...
