1481  Economy / Speculation / Re: if the price of bitcoin has reached $ 2k? on: February 20, 2017, 01:45:25 PM
I will sell everything. That is already way above my target price. I will continue working and earn more bitcoin if the price keeps on rising after that. And if it goes down, then I will buy bitcoin from my profit.
1482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tea cup pattern.. on: February 20, 2017, 01:36:40 PM
Nice pattern. does this mean we are going to the moon in the next month? Or pattern still does not apply to bitcoin? If it gets manipulated, then pattern means nothing.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: February 18, 2017, 07:05:08 AM
China has a big part in manipulating the bitcoin price. They can drive the price to whatever they want.
I think they will drive the price to get the ath and go down in an instant.
China's impact on the bitcoin market is not so large, the Chinese government recently issued a policy to strictly control bitcoin, bitcoin prices have a little volatility, but little volatility. Chinese government again and again to suppress, bitcoin is still moving forward, I think China's policy can not manipulate bitcoin prices.
IMHO, the manipulation of price cannot be controlled by the government, what government is only after is the legitimate transaction to prevent money laundering, and we understand china has the most number of bitcoins therefore it's easy for them to manipulate the price in their favor.  That is my perception on the news I read in the community but that can be change as bitcoin continues to exist.

But they can influence it if they start creating laws that will have an effect on bitcoin. Like if countries start banning bitcoin, it will drastically drag the price down. Otherwise, if a country shows support to bitcoin, then it will push the price up.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][UBQ] Ubiq - Smart Contracts For An Automated World on: February 18, 2017, 06:50:21 AM
I hope this get listed on poloniex, I have not tried novaexchange or the other small exchanges they have listed. What is the chance it will get listed on polo?
1485  Economy / Speculation / Re: you can keep the price down for so long before it explodes! ($1060) on: February 18, 2017, 05:34:43 AM
I am just curious how high this rally will go until ETF / March 11. I am guessing this is  a build up for the anticipation of ETF approval or disapproval or another delay. ETF is not yet apprived and its push to the price can be felt already. I hope it will be a lot higher when it gets approved.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: February 18, 2017, 05:17:22 AM
If world war 3 breaks, I will be more worry about surviving than the price of bitcoin. But if you have time to collect wealth, I will go with precious metals. In WW2 some fiat are rendered useless or no value, it will happen again on the next war.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: February 18, 2017, 04:58:27 AM
I do not know how to gamble smart, I only know how to quit. So instead of gambling my money away, I stopped doing it. But sometimes, I still get tempted and bet once in a while. I think it is still healthy because I am not addicted to it.
1488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Newbie on: February 18, 2017, 04:53:08 AM
That one is noted. Yobit got a lot of coins in their but you dont know what to pick because they dont clean some who are not even moving anymore, sometried reviving it just for another scam reason.
I hope Bitsane also takes the reputation of picking the coins that will surely stay for long. Just dont let those shitcoins be registered to them.

If you want clean list of coins, you can also try poloniex.com . They have a good list of altcoins and they have good service too. I have tried bitfinex, yobit and poloniex, so far polo is better. But I also trade in yobit for scam coins being pumped. It is an easy way to earn money if you spot it early.
1489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin core is only programmed by satoshi? on: February 18, 2017, 12:14:06 AM
Afaik we cannot still confirm if satoshi is a single person or an entity for a group of person. So we cannot categorically answer your questions. But I think to create a software this complex, you will need some help either on coding, math, or implementation.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I dream of a day BTC will be boring! [POLL] on: February 17, 2017, 11:44:35 PM
It will just be boring if the price is not moving anymore. It will be stagnant that you cannot earn from trading anymore. But I think that time will not come so I vote that the OP has been drinking and was drunk-posting when he made this.
It can be possible in the future if more people are using bitcoin.. and the trading would slow price increase or decrease.. since we are just few user of bitcoin the movement of the price is fast but if more people are using bitcoin the price will increased and then the price would be slow fluctuate due to many users of bitcoin.. the trading will need large amount to manipulate the price.

I do not mean fluctuating prices or price manipulation, you can still earn even if the price is slow moving. But if it is stagnant, then no more. Even if there is more users,  it will still be interesting to watch the price move.
1491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Auto Buy Bitcoin depending on price? on: February 17, 2017, 09:17:00 PM
You can also use poloniex. Just goto BTC/USDT exchange. Enter the price you intend to buy and the amount of bitcoin then click on buy. It will make a buy order for you. And when the price hits what you set it will automatically executes.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 17, 2017, 05:15:11 PM
I would gamble the profit and keep the principal. This way I can gamble without worry because what I am playing is already the profit. I do not mind losing anymore and I can enjoy gambling more.

I cashout it my money in coinsph and i play a gamble again. For the time being i won again i cashout again and play again and so on so fort.

Wow, I hope i also had that luckiness that you have. Winning everytime you gamble is a really big or huge feat for me.
Though i don't really gamble that much, i do want to win evertime i gamble. Hope that your win roll still to continue, but try to control yourself from gambling. Try to save your winning rather than using it for gambling again.

No one has that kind of luck. I think that is hypothetical, that if he wins, he cash out his money and come back again later. If he lose, then nothing happens.

1494  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 16, 2017, 05:22:43 AM
Let's see na lang mga paps, gumawa na ako ng support ticket sa kanila try lang natin wala namang mawawala sa akin/atin kung mag t'try ako/tayo, if you mind guys, gawa din kayo ng support ticket or chat niyo din sila regarding with this idea, as of now ito ang reply ni Danica.

If ako ang tatanungin parang malabo kasi una sa lahat coins.ph is business based meaning they are not the usual exchange na purely bitcoin trading and exchange ang main line unlike ng mga usual trading site na may ganyan features. And since business sila they care for the profits. So parang ang mangyayari tayo na lang mag adjust kapag may price rally.

Well sabagay wala naman mawawala. Maganda yan para sa ating mga users and much better if icoconsider nila yan. Smiley

Pwede naman siguro mangyari to kaso baka maglagay ng tx fee si coins.ph kada convert from fiat->btc and vice versa. Parang wala kasing fee kapag nag convert ka, ang meron lang malaking spread ng buy and sell. Lugi yung nga normal users na nagcacash out lang.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to purchase my first bit coin, need advice on: February 16, 2017, 04:45:01 AM
I am looking to purchase my first bitcoin. I have the app BTC Wallet, what is the process for acquiring my first bitcoin. Do I give the seller my e-mail address for my wallet?

If you are asking what to give the seller to buy bitcoins, you are not ready to make bitcoin transactions yet. Like what they said above, learn everything first. There are lots of good read inbthe beginners section. You can start there. We do not want another user ranting about stolen bitcoins.
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most interesting thing you know about Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2017, 03:33:07 AM
Bitcoin that was once only used for illegal activities in silk road is now globally used and being recognized by some countries. In our country they already started to regulate it.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin support on: February 15, 2017, 07:25:03 PM
So i just sent $1000 worth of btc to electrum wallet. When I tried to send, it said i needed password. and that was just a test wallet. so now i have lost $1000 because there is no such thing as bitcoin support. great.... so how are people insured if someone types the wrong address, adds a zero, or forget their private key. Why did satoshi not think of this?

No technology can cure human error. If you are just testing it, why would you send 1000$ worth of bitcoin. You know you can send a few bits right, just for testing purposes? Do not blame satoshi for your own mistakes.

1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best ways , sites to earn or trade altcoins on: February 15, 2017, 06:44:42 PM
You can trade alt coins on some exchanges like Yobit and poloniex. I use these two to trade altcoins and bitcoins. About the wallet, I think each coin have wallet of their own, desktop wallet or sometimes online wallet. But for me, I use the exchange wallet to store my altcoins. But if I have serious investments on altcoin, I move them to desktop wallet.
1499  Economy / Economics / Re: China and price on: February 15, 2017, 03:59:43 PM
PBOC wants to regulate bitcoin exchanges in china. Chinese got scared they'll lose their bitcoins. Dump them all their coins. Thus, the price goes down. People from other countries saw opportunity to pump their bitcoins, thus the price went up again. It is just the effect of their actions, not that china want it to go down below 1000.
1500  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: February 15, 2017, 03:37:40 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

I will not exactly say it is the future, but it definitely have the potential to give you a lot of money in the future if you play it right. If you are just bag holding a lot of  scam coins/crypto, then you are up for a big disappointment. But if you are holding some good crypto, then you can be rich in the near future.
