EG is out!

They're just the same place as the DQed team.

It's unexpected that EG has to end this early, we all know that they're a tier 1 team and one of the strongest teams ever. But they didn't make it to the play offs.

Anyone has realized the problem ever since with their picks? I have expected them to have a good ending on this tournament like from 1st to 4th but, they ended last.

These content creators are making money for the views, that's what click bait is.

If you don't like what that content creator has made, unsubscribe to him and never follow any of his contents anymore. He's just one of the many that keeps on doing that.

It is because the interest for cryptocurrencies, mainly for bitcoin has became huge. So, anything that they can capitalize and twist a story and just use some headlines to catch attentions of their viewers and crypto enthusiasts, they'll do it.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you thing about Terra team? on: May 15, 2022, 12:15:04 PM
In my opinion, the Terra Team is to blame for the entire bloodbath. They should have taken a more pragmatic and responsible approach. Things have only gotten worse for the holders.
Well, I don't know if it's just a coincidence that the market went down because of them or it's a perfect timing that the market went down as we're about to enter the bear market.

But about blaming them, I'd say that they should be accountable for their negligence and incompetence. They've got a huge project and then a lot of issue had came out and it took quite long before they spoke about it.
2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current Sending Fee of BTC, BCH and LTC? on: May 14, 2022, 09:41:44 PM
Can use nano ledger wallet or electrum or maybe electrum ltc but need to download and verify electrum ltc so kind of don't want to do that.

Want to send about 5 dollars worth to someone.  Have windows pc, iphone etc.

Do you recommend just install ltc app on nano ledger since i have no ltc there?  Thing is i want to make sure it is private where the person i send any coin to... whether btc or ltc... can't check the transaction history.  What would you suggest then?  Trust wallet on iphone?  Again it won't be more than 50 dollars worth of ltc or btc or bch that i want to keep in this wallet.  its meant to buy some things online.
Well, seems that you know what to do. If that's comfortable for you to just download ltc to your ledger then that's good. Whether big or small amount, that should be enough for you.

But to mind you, you'll have to connect it from time to time if ever you'll do transactions.

So if you're worried about having no history then just use any multi wallet like trust wallet if you'll use it to send to someone.
2385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin can save your life wherever you are on: May 14, 2022, 05:27:56 PM
The same goes for bitcoins that are stored on exchanges.

There's a possibility that your funds might be frozen by that exchange depending on the activity that you're doing inside their platform. If you're clean and do nothing, that's good.

But knowing that exchange behaviors are changing from time to time, just remember that you don't hold your private keys if they're stored there so it all ends up with the idea, that you don't own your bitcoins there even if it is on your account.
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 14, 2022, 04:25:33 PM
I've been through 2018 too, I'm not saying it won't happen again but by comparison the market is very different now. So it is very difficult for BTC to drop to 10k$ and ETH to 300$.
I have the same thought but don't close your doors that everything is possible in this market. No one has seen what has happened to Luna before it actually happens.

I've seen 2018 for Ethereum and luckily, I got some from that time and sold it last year.

It's unknown whether it will be back there to its old price or not but just consider that everything is possible for any coin. @OP if I have any extra budget now, I'll buy.
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: May 13, 2022, 11:59:15 AM
Anyone notice how bad EG right now. They are the only team who lose back to back on the opening day of group stage. They still picking storm spirit even though it's not working anymore. They only didn’t get it on game 2 against T1 when it was banned. I think there is really something wrong on there draft and the comment of the public about it since last year is now making me think that's right after all. Bulba gaming.
They were 0-4.

Their coach keeps on pushing storm spirit. It's not the first time that I've seen them too pushy with storm spirit, I think it's also a request of Abed to keep on playing with SS because it is his favorite hero.

Right now, I'm watching the 2nd game of T1(1) vs. OG (0).

Next to this game is T1 vs BC and then Boom vs EG.
2388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let's always remember how important our lives are. on: May 13, 2022, 03:11:49 AM
I've read another post on FB that it's around 20 suicides now, I don't know if that's for real since there's no source and validation to back up with a source.

Nevertheless, these incidents are for real. They're not new and every time the market goes bear and there are people that have invested probably their life savings and they're seeing it blowing and going down, they don't know what to do.

They do end with the idea of ending their lives and that's not really the option. I feel bad and sorry for them that they have to choose that bad ending even if there's still a way to recover their lost money in some other way.

I hope this link helps, a suicide hotline for those who don't know what to do and thinking of ending their lives regardless of the reason.

2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: May 13, 2022, 12:12:53 AM
Yeah, there are chances that it can recover but I don't think that it will be back to its former.

It's always wiped out and close to zero from its price so if someone thinks that have lost money on this coin can his/her money can be recovered. Don't expect a lot.

What's gone is gone and treat it as a loss that you can learn from. Treat every word the foundation says with a grain of salt and you don't have to put trust and confidence on it at all times.
2390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 12, 2022, 11:33:52 AM
Nice point.

Most of them are going to test some strategies as there's a recent upgrade for the game itself. A lot of changes has been made and for sure they will all adjust at the first day of the major.
What I want to point out is that not all teams are going to try their best at the group stage and most of them might just end up splitting the series 1-1. But I somewhat agree that some teams might try out some of their newly formed strategies.
That's always what most teams are doing, they don't really put their best at the very first stage. So, there we go, three games are playing at the same time so it's another three matches for the other teams after the 2nd games end for the first 6 teams/3 games.

Well, as you're saying, I've seen that part for EG and their pick isn't impressive and is like a thrown pick.

I don't believe on strategy testing since most of them already done that on pubs and not on majors. You will no gonna be on this major if you are doing a strategy on actual matches especially on this prestigious tournament. Maybe some adjustment might be possible but for a literal test is quite a bit impractical on team like this. But I agree on taking the safe bet like +1 is the best pick on the early stage of this tournament since we don't have any data yet on how each team will perform when facing international teams.
.
You probably have missed Team Nigma did that in many official matches. And just as I've said, there's a new patch that has been updated and they have to test it in actual games since they don't have that much time testing it on pubs with a good team to fight.
2391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2018 vs 2022 on: May 12, 2022, 09:13:59 AM
What I felt until May 2022 was worse than January to May 2018, at that time the market was still moving positively and Bitcoin only dropped around 20%, but in 2022 the price had dropped more than 50%, I only hoped that this large storm would soon end and The market can skyrocket again as happened in the end of 2021.
What happened in 2018 was much worse. But this year hasn't ended yet and maybe the worst scenario is yet to come.

With the recent plummet, if we're going to compare it from how it was like stable on $40k$-45k. There's sort of 50% slashed on the price and it could really go for more.

The exciting part should come by next week and if it hasn't recovered, it will totally shake the market and kick the weaklings out of it.
2392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get in my shoes for a minute on: May 12, 2022, 07:05:13 AM
Spare the Nano first and buy bitcoin.

Take this moment to have that advantage of buying bitcoin. It's now $26k and we don't know if it's already the dip or if there will be a lower price but as looking at it, very good time to buy.

You can use electrum, wasabi or samourai, or bitcoin core as of the moment and then just follow it up by buying your nano soon. That's what I think is a good thing to do for now.
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bought some Terra luna for 1.5$ on: May 12, 2022, 05:08:53 AM
That's probably just a glitch and a bug but I'm concerned that you've bought it while it's dipping. It's better if you've kept those SOLs and never sold them for Luna.

Luna is now $0.3 and glad that I didn't buy it even when I saw it @ $5 and $1. Because I thought that it was the right time but no way, the drop seems to be no stopping at all and there will more of it. So, it's better that I did the right choice of waiting.

ESL One Stockholm major for Dota 2 is about to start on May 12.

https://liquipedia.net/dota2/ESL_One/Stockholm/2022

Matches are already in schedule and I think it's a good thing for us to analyze the two teams on which is favorable to bet and which is a good match to gamble based on its odds.

And if you think a team that is about to match with a weaker or underdog team, you take of that opportunity.
I'll probably skip on the first day and observe most of the games as the format isn't good for betting knowing that each series is a best of 2.

But if I have to bet on the first day then i'd stick with the underdogs (like Beastcoast vs OG and Betboom vs Boom ) and take their +1.5 or +0.5 handicap hoping they'd grab a map by surprise since there's no point in most teams to expend all their strategy during the group stage.
Nice point.

Most of them are going to test some strategies as there's a recent upgrade for the game itself. A lot of changes has been made and for sure they will all adjust at the first day of the major.

But I'm sure that many of them won't also waste this moment as the first stage of the major is just going to be a few days and then will move to the play offs after 4 days.
2395  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 11, 2022, 11:59:19 AM
The contribution that has been made by the old casinos not just to the market but also to the current situation of online gambling were huge. But change is constant.
Everything is evolving they have done their part and their purpose, and we are now in a better position, what we are right now we owe a lot of the changes and the flaw of the old model, the scams can easily be traced and cheaters are caught and that could have not been possible without the changes the new and existing casinos have implemented.
We need to also recognize their contribution, we cannot move on to the present without the flaw in the old model.
It's true that because of those changes, we've moved forward.

That's how it should go and the way that casinos have improved, we've seen the new ones and upgraded versions to make their service better. And, we're missing the old ones just as OP has said.

But, we can no longer be with the past and has to move forward for the betterment of this side of gambling.
2396  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Role Of Parents In The Chaos Happenings In The Society. on: May 11, 2022, 09:50:41 AM
Well, I still believe that many parents have raised their children well. The world isn't perfect and there are also parents that aren't perfect. It all depends on the circumstances and situations that we're dealing with.

Maybe, those that haven't raised well really lived with their parents that didn't took care of them and that's why they've grown in a surroundings and behavior of misfortune.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 11, 2022, 08:21:59 AM
UST, together with Terra(Luna) both are dropping.

It's actually giving me some chills if I should buy Luna at this time because it's down to $4-$5. The ATH was $116 and that's afar price from what it is right now and it's all due to the UST thing.

UST is now $0.3 and I don't think that the Terra team will be able to get it back and pegged it again to a dollar. A lot of uncertainty that the market has right now so, I think I won't catch falling knives.

I think I remember lucky bit.

There's no way to get back on it as most casinos are requiring now to pass onto their kyc verification as they're also being required by their locality.

The contribution that has been made by the old casinos not just to the market but also to the current situation of online gambling were huge. But change is constant.
2400  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 10, 2022, 08:55:41 PM
Saving is the best form of investment.
I was told that investment is the key, I took all my savings and invested, the investment became a scam and I returned to square one. Assuming I had the opportunity, I would have saved in bitcoin and leave it there.

I decided to use the language save, because I believe that people that got bitcoin when it was low and left it till today are saving. This is because bitcoin is a currency.
I agree about saving is also a form investment and giving you the discipline on how to handle your money properly. But even if you're a good saver but you lack of knowledge on the investment vehicles to put your money, you're likely to lose it all.

But learning it from the experience, I was also scammed before but it's not all of my money but that experience had taught me a lot of things on how to be wise with my money.

The difference is that a bitcoin hodler saves in a currency that has the tendency to appreciate rather than depreciate like fiat.
Now, the refined version of saving is to save in something that appreciates. Now I am a big fan of saving.
This is right, it appreciates and we all know the true potential of it because we have the idea and we've got knowledge based on it.
