So basically its FIAT , but with a layer of encryption and can transfer money safely from one continent to another without costing them time or money to do it? That meaning when they will devalue it or amounts of it moved or gets invested towards Bitcoin, the ones holding the bag will get to be but naked robbed in a system where they can transfer all their money literally overnight while you are taking a nap? |

I think Ethereum is sh!t ... Bitcoin is good because you can apply it to global scale in most of the countries and its limited. But what I saw interesting is "Bitgold" ... and I don't know exactly too much about it, but I would not buy it until it would be applied on a global scale backed by a vault of that metal in all countries on the planet, also to be able to ask for the physical demand of it and also to be anonymous like Bitcoin. And to have a global plethora of exchanges like Bitcoin all over... And what I would like to see is this concept for "BitSilver", "BitCopper" , "BitAlluminium" , "BitIron" , "BitSteel" , "BitStainlessSteel" , "BitDiamond" , "BitMarble" , "BitCuartz" , "BitCoal" , "BitMapleWood" , "BitMapleSirup" , "BitWater" , "BitProstitute" , "BitBrothleHouse" , ... etc.. Because I think that might be a thing of the future ... but of course ... some of the more invasive ones should be having some standards, renting a sex hoe robotic doll should require some kind of psych eval or some kind of stamp of approval that you are a decent human being. |

Which exchange are you looking at? The ones I'm watching never sat on that. And why would a manipulated market be any more likely to sit on that number? I think he is spectating Bitstamp ... there is a little 100 coin wall at 579.99 made out of 4-5 orders... But ... its is almost very sad that people sit and do nothing just because China dictates where the rain clouds go and where it should be drought. To be honest I'm in a small exchange where it is a similar trend... if the global market goes up.. I pull up my overpriced orders quick... and if it falls I just sell and buy back at a 20-40$ spread if its a 10$ - 15$ drop on the global markets. The meaning of life for those places have their days numbered! |

And the East coast of China basically has the same daylight timing like Japan & South Korea but different hours, and I see also Russia there on the East coast that have +10. But considering that... Russia probably has its own exchange in their own language. And the other big players on the block that can influence the market that are on that side of the world before them are New Zealand and Australia that have similar times! Australia is kinda of funny with their 8 3/4 timezone though. I think countries with longer daytime have an increased productivity and also a lower electricity consumption! |

Suppose for a second that Chinese miners were being "subsidized" by the Chinese government in more ways than just free electricity? But... but... why would they do that?? What advantage could China gain over the long term with Bitcoin?? What could the Chinese miners possibly be giving their Government in return for such generosity?  So that Vice "documentary" ... They are obliged to create jobs and reinvest the profits and keep 10% for their efforts! - If the West is interested in Bitcoin, China is interested as well... everything in their power to have a share and try to control the West is in China's interest! ...
