Who sold at the bottom?

Noone, it's obvious we all BOUGHT at the bottom... or do you think the price rises by itself? geez...

In every transaction there's a buyer and a seller.

For every coin bought at a bargain price during a dip, someone sold at a discount, whether it was from necessity or panic.

Most of the time the buyer is the exchange, not some dude like you who has a crystal ball.

This... (what Jimbo said) ... it is a good example of 'Karma'.

Basically one takes more and one gets less. Then the Universe needs to recalibrate!

And more concrete is that on markets it doesn't work like in other circumstances when the calibration of the energy you take form a place to another comes and has specific targeting. But... NO! ... It does not have any direction / target echolocation bullsh!t, like on the usual karma things. But on markets, that loss needs to be taken and drawn from somewhere else.

So basically as an example of what he just said is that the loser that sold at some displeasing value, will trigger some kind of 'unpleased/unsatisfied' emotion that he/she will spew it into the Universe like a sewer! Smiley ... And the one that got 'a bargain' will feel pleased, greedy and maybe will have a taste of feeling the need to spend!

But in a simple way put is that the one with a loss will feel the need to take from somewhere else to compensate, rebalance and recover. And the Universe will give them to balance the scale back to a neuter zone! While the one who gained will find ways to give back. And this doesn't mean necessarily "paying back" with the same 'currency', but with any kind of payment/sacrifice that the Universe asks of the destiny of those people! Smiley

The shit winds have started to blow. Batten down the hatches.

Its good that bitcoin is predictable in these kind of matters... Cheesy Cheesy

I don't think I'm winning micro's ATH game.

I like your enthusiasm and where this is going!!! Cheesy Cheesy ... ROFL!!!  Cheesy  Cheesy

*edit: FYI ... just the last 4 names on that list have a chance of winning! Cheesy Cheesy

*edit(2):  explanation is required... So.. :  "There is always a time loop!" Cheesy  Cheesy  ... Basically a new ATH will be after the ATH ... and if 2 people guessed the ATH because it grew in 2 consecutive days... Who has the right answer?? They both have the right answer! Smiley

[...] a 2mb hardfork seems pretty unlikely to take place in the coming couple of years [...]

Really? No.

2mb is feasible, but still a hard bargain / trade-off. It is just an easy lazy solution! Smiley ... They should wake the f*ck up and put their hands on a shovel and create new better fiber optics infrastructure at a global scale.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2017, 11:32:16 AM
i see r0ach is still as depressed as ever.

I'm curious how he will transfer me a kilo of gold off-World to Mars or Titan?? Eh?? Smiley

He always takes out of context what I say... Cheesy Cheesy ... I didn't said bitcoin will be replaced by gold, but by another 'bitcoin', a better one that is more tending and attuning to perfection! Smiley
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2017, 01:41:09 AM
No, no. No hard forks.

Yes, yes. Yes hard fork.   Lips sealed

fork To Da Moon!!!  Grin

Fork would never moon.

Look at history, look at ETC, it tells enough of this stupid tale.

ETC is the original ruleset.  ETH is the fork.

ETC / ETH would seem to prove that being "correct" isn't worth much if the majority agrees to not give a shit about being "correct".

now... lets find out if people care more about the speed,  ease of use, and cost of TX  Vs technical mobojmobo  Cool

Well to be honest, in these kind of circumstances people go along with the flow for a short period of time after. They take the profits and then the cracks appear long after they drawn their profits and invested them in something else. Smiley

Nothing lasts forever. Not even Bitcoin. Because and especially the main reason: 'protocol' / 'procedures' / 'emergency situation protocols'.  That is mostly what gives any system in the Universe, real value! Smiley
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 24, 2017, 05:10:16 PM
i'm not liking that there is no option on the poll that says: bitcoin will rise all week up untill Aug 1st at which point it will rocket up +500$ as the BCC market crashes down down down to the lowest low ( SUB 100, maybe even <50 Shocked ) and appears to die on arrival.

cuz ya... thats watsup.

Just as long as I get my BCC to market first. Would hate to get stuck bag holding dust, even if it's free.

you'll be fine, BCC has bigger blocks, your TX will confrim very fast, like the good old days.  Wink

So does this mean we can double dip again?!? Cheesy Cheesy
1468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 22, 2017, 10:25:27 PM
I'd like to predict ATH by 07/23 if it's still possible

Reason why is because we've had such a strong run from 1800 right up under the ATH without any retraces at all, a small retrace just below it is reasonable(which I also posted when we were at 2925) when we've had such a crazy run. And I expect the strength to continue pretty soon.

23/07 already taken by: Bitcoinaire

If we break ATH on 23rd of july, somebody gonna have to pay me Roll Eyes Grin

Hmmm... I thought it was about predicting when the next ATH and if it will be and stay in place as the "ATH" for at least 2-3 months after it is being broken. Meh... anyway, I still keep my prediction, around that time it will be over 10k and it will stay in place as the "new ATH" for a few months after! Smiley
1469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 22, 2017, 12:58:04 PM
In simple terms, why you should hope cryptocurrency dies and gold and silver defeats them:

All cryptocurrencies are inherently rent seeking usury systems and a pseudo form of debt based currency if you will. The PoW chain does not just magically stay up on it's own, it requires a constant upkeep to exist at all (rent). A peer to peer physical gold or silver transaction can be done with no overhead cost; they're the equivalent of an off-chain transaction with no middleman or monopoly man gouging you with usury fees.

Cryptocurrency is completely different.  Even if you attempt to do off-chain transactions via something like lightning network, or even in-person transactions with physical bitcoin bearer bonds, the transactions ALWAYS have to be settled on-chain eventually, so you are NEVER escaping the rent seeking usury system.  Since the blockchain is highly scaling constrained, it's like condeming yourself to extreme usury in the end game.  Bitcoin PoW is designed to centralize and the cartels running the mining operations will either be taken over by TPTB who already run the current system, or will just be a recreation of them in practice.

The further you abstract money away from barter, the larger a scam it is.  Only physical commodity based currencies are sound money that remove middlemen while allowing you to escape the debt based, rent seeking usury system.

Let me tell you why I don't like gold and silver, and also I think they will become redundant:

- Gold & Silver can be scanned trough borders, because those are in the group of some of the most dense metals. Those scanners are for radioactive materials, but they pick up gold, silver, copper very easy as well.

- The Solar System is full of gold & silver, and also the more economic growth the world will see, the more sophisticated equipment and bigger trucks will be invented for more efficient mining!!! Might I remember you that we have thousands of kilometers of matter under our feet??

- The population of the globe will start to decline. Mostly because of technology and higher education. So people that will live longer will just be complacent in their comfort zone and not drive economic panic of gaining wealth. Also there is a lot of real estate that needs to be used by lesser people.

So R0ach... get real! Smiley     (even if I might think in the short term in the next 2-3 years Gold & Silver are devalued and they will get back to better values... but then what?? Smiley )

If the sort of dystopian, hyper-inflationary future that gold bugs predict actually happens, it seems likely to me that there will be jackbooted thugs kicking down their doors to take their gold. This has happened before, even in the US.

If they want to steal my bitcoins, they'd better be able to crack SHA-256.

Exactly. But I don't think it'll get that far. You know why? Because the Global elite's ultimate goal is to swamp Average Joe in so much debt and taxes, and increase the cost of living beyond his means, that he won't be able to purchase and horde metals or bitcoin. They won't have to kick any doors in because they know that no one will have any horded wealth to confiscate.

Because when hyperinflation sets in, all undervalued real/true assets will rise in value relative to fiat. And the global elite don't want anyone else to have those kind of assets. They want Average Joe to have debts and taxes, a lot of them, and so much so that it's virtually un-payable in one's lifetime. That's how they keep everyone on the endless work hamster wheel, indebted to them for one's entire life.

They also want Average Joe to lose all ability to take care of himself, lose the ability to rely on himself to produce food, energy, clothing, routine maintenance, maintain his health, etc. so that he is always and constantly reliant on the state and the rest of society to help him live. More debt slavery to the external.

Moral: Eliminate your debts, pay off your house and cars, and store your excess wealth in bitcoin, land, some metals, rare art and collectables. Save and buy everything you need with cash. Never use credit for anything unless you have no other way, and pay it off almost immediately. And have a plan to run to the hills or another country with the majority of your wealth intact, should things get really bad where you live.

For some reason I kept reading "Avenger Joe". Cheesy Cheesy

Btc 1000$ /1500$

Not really.... The one with Segwit will go probably somewhere under 1000$ and the one classic that is slow and 'primitive' will go to 3500$ - 4000$+. Smiley

Do you guys think it will change its name, or people at least will call it SWC? (Segwit Coin)  Roll Eyes

*edit: I mean... it is obvious the new split coin will be called in a different way and it will be a bad PR move for it.

*edit(2): And I also mean that it is obvious that exchanges will not accept the new version from the get-go, because they still operate on the previous classic version and they are compatible only with that version... right?? Or are there exchanges that are prepared for this?? Smiley
