2381  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: January 13, 2023, 05:10:37 PM
Okay, maybe most people complain about conventional stores because the prices offered are higher than the prices offered by online stores, it's natural for you to be in a situation like now, economic turmoil occurred in various industrial sectors and was accompanied by inflation. definitely looking for the best price to save money in the current circumstances.
After I read the book a few days ago, it turned out that it is normal for a business to be disrupted by new innovations and if for business people to be unable to balance or adapt to changing times.

It's true, the stores in my area all sell at a higher price than the online stores, and we all try to save as much as we can, so it's difficult to support the stores close to home. We are also in financial difficulty, how can we help someone, and if we were in that situation, I don't think they would help us either.
Those grocery stores should change to catch up with the trend, or else they will soon be eliminated, that's the law of business. No one can help them except themselves.

We live in the province, so online stores are much more expensive because we have to pay for shipping, but local stores are much cheaper, which is why we mostly buy it directly because we can see the actual product, unlike online, but there are some products that are not available, so we have to buy it online. But it is better to support local products as first, it can boost your own economy, and second, you can help locals with their products.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 13, 2023, 01:16:14 PM
I really respect people who do side hustles like this to make ends meet, or just to try and stack as much capital as possible.
The pay from some side hustles are big enough to keep them comfortable for some weeks, better than earning monthly from working in an office. Talking about side hustles, One of the most profitable side hustles could be the job of a middle man or and intermediary for deals claiming a percentage for every deal sealed. This job is very unpopular and the requirement mostly is that you have contacts of people who perform various services and contacts of people who need these services. It is a dangerous job mind you, but with wisdom you can secure a life changing percentage from a closed deal.

This really depends, but side hustles are usually less than your main job; it's just that you add another source of income because your main job's salary is insufficient to cover your bills. Also, having side hustles is very difficult because you have things to sacrifice like time and sleep. That is why I respect those kinds of people, mostly if they have family to feed, as they are doing this for their family so that they can provide a comfortable life for their children. I also do a side hustle right now, and it is very tiring overtime, but I will use my family as motivation so that I can survive the day.
2383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you get a time machine now? on: January 13, 2023, 11:41:53 AM
Because I cannot undo the past, let's let the present set the stage for the future. If I were to reflect on the past, I would continue to regret not investing in Bitcoin at an earlier time I was aware it existence. But if we examine what has occurred since the beginning of Bitcoin, we can see that the price has been rising, thus with this, I still think there is a chance to accumulate Bitcoin for the future benefit like what have being happening continually. I want to hold onto my Bitcoin for a good 15 years as continue to they accumulate till them; who knows what might happen then? There is a proverb that says opportunities present themselves all at once. Simply said, it means that the past cannot be changed. So let's seize this chance right away and gather Bitcoin.

I also don't like talking about the past or the things we'll never be able to do. Don't try to remember what we missed in the past, that only makes us more regretful, but instead, if we know the potential of bitcoin, we should take advantage and hold bitcoin now. Because history will always repeat in different ways, bitcoin fell but will rise later and create future ATH. It's almost 99% going to happen, we've missed it in the past, so don't let the future regret it again.

I don't know if you are very serious in your life you are were not went through from the childhood lol. I know your point, we cant undo it and make us regretful but again that pain of regrets makes us learn a valuable reason and able to reflect that we didn't invest on that  so would you do that same mistake again? By looking the past you can easily react on your things to do right now such us investing to bitcoin , if you feel the same emotion before that you will not invest because the price wont be going up then the probability that you will do it again if you don't reflect from your mistakes in the past is still the same or much higher.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: January 13, 2023, 09:39:39 AM

April 15th, they move the fight closer which is good. Ryan says Tank is prolonging his inactivity while he wanted to fight him without tuneup.  Great to see them finalize the date because we're all sick of them avoiding each other. Whoever falls anyway fans will be cheering again. They are still young and who knows this will go further than a rematch because of fans' demand.

Let's see what the result of the fight is, but it is final for April 15th, and Ryan is a really great trash talker, and Tank is not prolonging that fight; it is just because he fought recently in January and needs rest and then training. This would be in the headlines for sure, as this fight is big! A rematch would be possible if it was a close fight and both parties agreed to it.
2385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 13, 2023, 07:49:23 AM
Playing gambling as a hobby only gives pleasure and sadness because we manage to win money or lose money playing gambling. And that won't allow us to make a living from gambling because to be able to do this, we have to learn many things that can support us to earn money from gambling. But I believe some people can make a living from gambling and these are professionals with experience in gambling. But they won't tell us how much money they make because that's their secret.

For a while I watched several bloggers who claim to live only from betting, in fact it is difficult to verify whether this is true, or they cooperate with bookmakers for advertising. But what they earn from advertising is for sure. Perhaps the truth is that the total income received from advertising and monetization from YouTube is enough to make a good living from it, but if it was only betting, then the result would be different.
They say that because there is a purpose because if it is difficult for us to verify the information, we don't have to believe what they say. Maybe it's true that they get income from their website advertisements and just have to make a news story as if they are providing something useful for visitors. I believe more if they monetize their Youtube accounts to earn or make a living than they say they can make a living from gambling, whatever the game is.

That is still some sort of promotion for their player's gambling, or they are sponsored on it, which means he is not earning solely from gambling winnings. Then also, if he is really making a living with gambling, why is he still going to vlog about it? Since we all know vlogging is time-consuming and requires effort, if gambling is already making me a ton of money, I don't do vlogging anymore. That is not the case; they simply want us to sign up for their platform.
2386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 13, 2023, 06:42:12 AM
thank you for the advice, friends, now I have bought bitcoin, from the sale of motorbikes, yes, even though the price of the motorbike being sold is not expensive, I feel happy because I am now investing in bitcoin.

Just make sure you keep your bitcoin in a safe place and not in exchange, just to be sure, and also try to forget about your bitcoin for a couple of years, but it still depends on your needs as there are times that you are really in need of money. Best wishes on your journey to owning a bitcoin! And also, don't ever think of selling your other motorcycle! May we know what kind of motorcycle you have? I am not a motorcycle enthusiast, but I like riding my motorcycle and going to beautiful places.
2387  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 13, 2023, 05:42:14 AM
I was thinking if food delivery is one of the good side hustles for 2023, but I think the wage or income on this is low because, as we can see now, there are a lot of food delivery drivers right now, but the demand of customers to have food delivered to their homes is low. Craftsmanship is a really good side hustle as long as you have skills. Graphic designers has also part-time on it because you will be an assistant to those lead graphic designers, and you can accept design-based or project-based work.
2388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who survived previous winter, please share some courage! on: January 13, 2023, 03:17:42 AM
Read and analysis the chart. All the answers are there in plain sight. You just need to zoom out to see the history of BTC. No it's not the end. It's just another bump in the road.
And I can't help but mention that, bear market is not a bad thing at all. It helps the industry to get rid of those who are weak hearted. Panic sellers.
Get rid of alt coins and just keep HODLing BTC. As they always say. It's an opportunity. So fill up your bags and go to sleep like a frog in the winter.
Market couldn't really be just having one path which is going upwards which it would really be just normal to have corrections and this wont really be a smooth sail ride kind of investment on which it would rather have

It's best to hodl for long term investment plans. Whether the market goes down in the future, if you aim to hodl it for a long time, you will make profits. The market is now a bit green for the time. It's a false indicator towards a bull run. But it will take correction again. Don't know much more than this for now. But as we all know, it will go towards 100k in the next bull run. So we can just forget about the present and aim towards the future. But for traders, that's some other story.
I do both, hold for long term and day trade, and this move up caught me in some positions. Since we are in this position now I would like that price stays stabile for some time to accumulate more for long term and for trading perspective sideways is the time where I do best trading. Those big swings are hard to predict.

Your strategy is very different from others , most of traders wont be trading on sideways market as its hard to predict and also takes more time analyzing. I myself i do have trend following strategy works best on uptrend market which i am only using this on specific market and also when it is green days. Though holding is best as it has less effort but needs patience as you need to hold longer and also if you have a lot of money to spend for your investment the better the profit
2389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 13, 2023, 02:34:00 AM
2023 would be better than 2022 for sure, as the price will be starting to rise as well as our economy, but I am not sure if it will break its previous ATH. Next year, in 2024 or 2025, there is a possibility of a new ATH because of bitcoin's halving. I don't own a lot of bitcoin; I only have a few, but I am still holding on to them until the price is good and it is reasonable to sell them.
2390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 12, 2023, 05:13:15 PM
Of recent, I've come across alot of people talking about traders chasing their losses which at the end, leads to possible blowing of accounts.
I understand that people trade with expections and most times when this expectations aren't met, they try as much as possible to chase after their losses and my questions are
~ what is your take on revenge trading?
~ Do you think people intentionally go into revenge trading or is is just emotional?
~ what will you advise someone making series of losses ?

After making multiple losses, a thought comes to the mind of the traders as to how they will recover those losses. And they chase to take profitable trades to cover those losses, but their efforts can often lead to more losses. And for this revenge trading, it actually affects the traders more emotionally. I have experienced such situations and I realized that revenge trading does not take long to washout a trader's account.
Indirectly they don't have control over everything that happens in trading, but revenge trading is not a fast way unless we can choose slowly, it can cover losses, it's just that it takes a long time of patience to do it.
This effort is often not what is expected, sometimes we will become emotional during the trade, so my advice is that it is not the right way, but because of the emotional ambition of losing the trade.

Rule number one don't chase your losses as you will lose more. I know what you mean but traders tend to not chase their losses so how they can recover their losses? Simple they continue trading and they keep in their mind that they need to follow their strategy and nothing less so over time if you have discipline you will able to win back your loses by keep winning trades and your goal is just only to win trades and not having to chase your losses. In the long run, you will be able to win back your losses as long as you will stay on your strategy.
2391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto selling method on exchanges on: January 12, 2023, 01:04:14 PM
It really depends on you if you want your money immediately or if you can wait and then position your price at the price you want. There are times when I really need that money, but not at that precise moment, so I usually place an order in the tens or twentys of some sort because it can really add up the value on it and still be fulfilled. But again we do have our own preferences some wants to sell it immediatly  some can wait
2392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 12, 2023, 11:53:16 AM
Patience is highly practicable in this strategy, holding from the bear market to the bull season would turned out profitable only when one chooses the good projects to invest in.
Patience is needed for holding as without it you'll sell early and so is luck, when this two work together you'll be receiving profits from any investment that you get into because they'll do better than others but this isn't guarantee only just assumptions.

I'm not sure if luck is involved because luck does not influence the value of the coin only your pure knowledge and how can you control your emotions. It really needs patience, which most of the newbies don't have; they tend to panic sell or be very greedy to sell. When we are talking about bitcoin, it is way safer than those other coins, as you've noticed that some of them won't last 2 years, but bitcoin stands still and the price keeps going up. What's best is to hold the coin that is most promising in the long run, or just hold bitcoin.
2393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term Crypto winning strategies on: January 12, 2023, 10:05:34 AM
Dear All

There are two bodies in crypto, Traders, and investors. Today's topic is for investors. Specially very longterm investors. There are investing strategies for everyone. Share your ones.

Most common and sometimes I adhere

Collect BTC  at Deep Dips. (recently FTX collapsed)

Collect potential Alts Bear market.

so lets share your belives on strategies.

The long term winning strategies in crypto market start with good research work before deciding to invest in any project, which is key factor for the success of investment, because it can help a lot to identifying good projects which are fundamentally strong & backed by professional and dynamic teams . The next important factor is patience, which means avoid impulsive buying or selling and wait for the right time to take entry and exit to book good gains on your investment.

Knowledge is really power and it is the fundamentals or must before jumping to investment. Though patience is a plus but you need to have be mentally stable so that you can able to execute your strategy well because if you don't have stable emotions you will tend to not follow your strategy and triggering trades due to greed and as well as not having patience. You should make reading as a habit when it comes to investing coins that you find worth to invest because news are really affects the price on them so that you can react or pull out immediately your funds to prevent loses.
2394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 12, 2023, 07:40:45 AM
So I'm just curious, do we have members of the forum here that are making a living in sports betting? Can they share some inputs on how to be successful like them?
If we are talking about money where it's be sensitive to expose all the winning here, I think it could be hard to know and find a member who won and lives with sports betting. I often to see members who always prove the sport winning but rarely to see prove how much money has he won. then I believe a few of them live with that but it's not as the main job.

It's a sort of self-proclamation, but there's no evidence. I, too, only saw it in a documentary, but I never saw anyone who truly made a living from gambling, as we all know that the risk in gambling is very high, and it is very likely that you will not win anything at all. But I'm sure if there is one, we won't find it here in the forum, on social media, or in documentaries like the ones I've seen, but I haven't followed any gambling celebrities because following them is like triggering yourself to gamble whenever you see a post from them.
2395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 12, 2023, 06:42:16 AM
for those who have experienced big losses and can get up trying to do their best again to trade from painful experiences, of course, it is a good thing from a valuable lesson.
but not everyone can handle losses well. more people, especially beginners will be quite depressed by the loss. losing enough money will not make us think well. exiting the trade first might be better. then we can make a decision, whether to return to the market or decide to do something else. some are not suited to trading but are very lucky with long-term investing.
Traders spend so much time thinking about winning that it becomes very difficult for them to deal with their losses, losing while you are trading is very different than for example losing when you are gambling, when we gamble we know that we are completely dependent on our luck and if we lose we can accept it as it was not really our fault, but this is different when you trade as you are responsible for everything that happens to your account, and if you lose a big amount of money this can cause depression among many traders, since they have no excuse and no one they can blame other than themselves.

Traders have a different mindset because some traders will not spend time thinking about how to win again because their strategy is working as it is, but if they lose, they will spend a lot of time thinking about how their trade went wrong, how they can improve their strategy, and how to prevent it from happening again. It's like reflecting on your mistakes and learning from them; success and winnings can't teach you to think, but mistakes and losses can teach you how to overcome or find a solution to them.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 12, 2023, 05:42:13 AM
I just couldn't help myself to laugh and be sad again because I did have the same mistakes way back 2016. Truly, there's a lot here in this forum that had committed the same mistake we did because we just don't really know bitcoin's future and I remember that at that time, scams are just too many to mention that we couldn't figure out anymore which investments are really profitable and true.

Grin Grin Grin Grin Righttt you feel it too hahahah. Oh, by the way, there is dozen of HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) that is obviously a Ponzi Scheme back couple of years ago that offer up to 100% in a week but fool me I do believe that and lose a lot of it, there is actually site that provide hyip monitoring and maybe there is still one or two out there  so better stay out guys there is no getting rich quick  Cheesy

It made me laugh to imagine that while in the investment, you are waiting a few days for your pay and are beginning to consider how you will spend it or if you want to reinvest it. But I can't imagine that those scammers before were really smarter than us and were able to persuade us, and also, the awareness before of HYIPs was not as strong as it is now, so everyone of us will really say, "Don't be fooled by that as it is a scam." But, once again, that's a good starting point for us to learn more about how to earn bitcoin, and it's not an investment as we previously thought.
2397  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 12, 2023, 04:41:24 AM
I'm also considering buying bitcoin in small amounts this year so that it can accumulate over time. I know that we can't predict another ATH, but I will be riding this roller coaster right now, whether or not it will again hit the ATH, as I was left behind in the last ATH. I'm hoping to have some extra cash this year so that I can prepare for the next bitcoin halving. There is still plenty of time to save, so my plan is to go all-in on bitcoin this time.
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer and Crypto Guru Gambles Away Investor Funds on: January 12, 2023, 03:40:00 AM
Addiction is a disease, depending on how we interpret it. This should be cured by going to the professionals. If you are one of his investors, for sure you'll be angry since he gambles it all even though he loses all of his savings, but how can he come back to pay those investors? and he is still addicted if he hasn't sought any professional support. Addiction to gambling can really make you lose your mind, and your acts are uncontrollable. I am hoping that he can recover from it and also be able to repay his investors.
2399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 12, 2023, 02:49:01 AM
It was stated that the machine had malfunctioned, and the owner told her that she would need to come back the next day to claim her winnings. Though she already took a photo as proof, there is something fishy about it, that she needs to come back the next day. Though I am not saying all casinos are illegal, I am sure that mostly this is the case with the illegal ones that will try to evade and make excuses just to not have those winning since if this were a legal one, you could easily go after them. Also, I think this is a rare case, but if this happens to you, make sure you don't leave the premises without having assurance or proof that you'll be getting the money.
2400  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: January 11, 2023, 05:13:36 PM

We all have ups and downs in life. If you are old enough, there must be some painful period that you thought you'd never get over but actually you did. What was your lowest point in life ? Especially when it comes to finanical difficulties ? How did you survive ?

I was born into an underprivileged family who lived by raising goats and agricultural labor in the countryside. Of course, to get a lot of money, it took me about two more years to make my goats worth selling. The most difficult thing about finances was when my father sick because as the only breadwinner for the family, the thing that makes me sad is when I didn't have money when I saw my younger siblings eating rice with only salt at that time, but I couldn't help my parents because I was still sitting at school, the solution at that time was that apart from continuing to try we must also be grateful and patient rather than complaining about circumstances.

The problem with raising goats is that it really takes time before you can sell them, so there are definitely a few months that you don't have income from them. I don't want to go deep into your experience, but let's just make it a motivation to work hard so that we won't be experiencing it again. Work as if there's no tomorrow. I use my past experience as motivation mostly when I feel tired working, as I don't want to go back to those stages of my life.
