But if I delete all other files as a test, these files aren't enough and Byteball creates a new wallet.

I wouldn't use windows if i am storing bitcoins.I use linux much secure and free.No slow downs like windows.Tails+Electrum+Common Sense is the best combination for storing bitcoin securely.  |

I was having some blackbytes in my wallet.I took a backup before the last airdrop.Today i recovered wallet using 'full backup' option and the blackbytes that i had before airdrop are still there but blackbytes that i received after 7th August are LOST.I was told that recovering though 'full backup' also recovers blackbytes but this doesn't happen in my case  please someone tell me here how much is 8 GBB worth?I lost 8 GBB today even i restored using full backup.  Blackbytes are a very smart implementation of a private asset, but they aren't very intuitive to use. I've experimented a bit on how they work, and created a Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ thread with my results. Quick fix: you can ask Tonych to re-send your Blackbytes from the last airdrop. And indeed, you need to make a full backup after every transaction with Blackbytes, both sending and receiving!DAMN! I thought one time backup was enough.My old blackbytes are still there in my wallet but the blackbytes of this distribution are lost.I am trying hard to recover lost files using some software but not found any files yet.Can tonych really send me blackbytes again?What i need to prove to him? |

SegWit has just been activated! Why can't you just wait for a few months to go by in order to judge on whether or not people are really making use of SegWit transactions? It makes no sense to jump in and start saying that people don't care about SegWit. Let me put it like this -- how are you going to act in the coming days or weeks? Just watching blocks on blockchair.com... where are the lower fees that should have come with segwit? Just not getting it. And mempool isn't cleared... Blocksize isn't 1.7 MB, but still 1 MB.
Can someone expalin what's happening?

People are getting info about November fork, we might see drop below 3600 in next 48 hours and before Nomber possibly to 3k or less, but 3k will probably be a huge support. Also 1/3 (33 %) of miners changed from btc mining to bitcoin cash mining. People will FUD, sell now, buy back later when bitcoin dips. Segwit 23 August was already priced in and we risk fiasco of unsuccessful segwit transactions and/or lost coins because of segwit security vulnerabilities. Even Slush pool CEO (inventor of bitcoin mining pools) said that he first needs to see segwit transactions, until then no one knows.

Well those are quite weighty allegations you made there about the primary motive of Segwit implementation, i just hope you are not telling the truth because that could spell doom for Bitcoin so i do not believe you at this point until it is proven, but i cannot also say you are lying because i don't have facts to prove, we should not hastily conclude yet in the coming weeks we will know if BCH can dethrone BTC or not (i doubt that).
