I think nobody can control or own the bitcoin system like they can not control and possess the technology by email and the internet. I think Bitcoin is no different than a mobile application or program that offers a personal Bitcoin wallet and allows users to send and receive Bitcoin.
no one system can control bitcoin. i think bitcoin control by the community bitcoin user itself. even the government of a country can not control bitcoin because I think bitcoin is created only as a digital currency. of course you know some countries forbid the use of bitcoins but can not prevent all bitcoin users in the country to make transactions |

If the government still doesn't know how to put down all cryptocurrencies(or maybe they're still figuring how to tax users), why wouldn't they create an exchange and get some profit from it? We know how B.S some exchanges are, they needed KYC but in the end, you won't be able to withdraw your funds. Instead of spreading FUD, I hope government from all over the world knows that running an exchange can add funds for their country, and their pockets!  I know it will be making cryptos centralized but look at those exchanges asking for our pretty faces and names just for their KYC/AML purposes. yeah im agree with your opinion. should the government think about how to legalize bitcoin instead of prohibiting. and if the government wants to collect taxes from any bitcoin or altcoin transactions, it would be better if the government makes an exchange market and charging KYC for each of those exchange users. as you say, I think it's more effective and more useful for government and bitcoin users |

OK, this would sound noobish but I'm interested to know how other people keep the mnemonic phrase generated by the wallet. I do have the wallets secured with a pw and backed up (still not enough to warrant a hardware wallet) but I also have the passphrases handwritten in paper (someone said be wary of printers) and stashed somewhere but I'm wondering if there's a better way to keep them.
I don't know any cryptography but I'm thinking of shuffling the words rather than writing them down in order. Like a 12x12 grid where I'd spread them out in certain patterns and then finished with filler words. Since it's no longer as straight-forward should anyone get their hands on it, I think it would finally be safer to keep digital copies of it. Any suggestions?
for safety, personally i save all important data in to flashdisk and im double save it to my computer. i use notepad to mnemonic phrase and for google authenticator im double too, save it to my phone and my computer too. cause i think this is a better way to save my private data |

A company did an interesting social media experiment on people's acceptance of cryptocurrency as a method of payment for salary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vcGUeDlnLU&t=30sLooks as though it could possibly have been staged by the company (I don't think so??), but the results seemed similar to what I would expect if it was genuine. And I think it is actually a clever way of promoting their token sale, more potential to go viral than other promotional videos I've seen. Anyway, personally I think I would be happy to take cryptocurrency as at least part payment for salary, and depending on circumstances, the whole amount. i think is good if bitcoin price raise up but if bitcoin price go down its not great cause maybe is not Comparable to the hard work done. But even there i really support if a company payment the salary for they worker in bitcoin |

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.
Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.
What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?
actually im no problem about fill out form KYC but sometimes i think my personal information is very private and important. im scared if my personal data use to crime. maybe some people in here thinking like that. therefore all this time I always fill KYC form only for some safe and reliable website only |
