241  Economy / Speculation / Re: I want to sell the house car and on: March 31, 2018, 07:37:52 AM
Is it time to shine to get bitcoin. more falls? I want to sell the house car and buy bitcoin Undecided
Typical newbies who really don't know how cryptocurrencies really work. Tired of these shits who create useless threads.
My advice to you OP is that you DYOR about cryptos first before you go selling your house or your car. It's true that now is a great time to do an investment in bitcoin considering the current price of it but you don't know when the price will recover or when you will see some profits in your investments. Don't just go jumping in blindly mate.
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's with the fud? on: March 31, 2018, 06:53:09 AM
This downward movement is heavean for good traders, even if we are in a bear market, short term profits possibilities are insane during this times, we will have green days, and even though we might not see the december highs for a while, it might be a good time for all of us to increase our trading skills. Remember, people get rich during recessions

People get rich buying low, and selling high, do that a few times successfully and you've multiplied your money. But when the market is trading so harshly like it is now, it is very easy to catch the top of a new dip, and then be screwed.
It is something that is hard to do in the crypto community and that's the challenge that every crypto enthusiast face. Not of use can exactly predict how the market will go or when is the right time to buy low and sell high so in result, we tend to wait more and see how the price will go but in the end it don't meet our expectations ending up with regrets of not buying when we have the chance to.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will survive? on: March 31, 2018, 06:23:54 AM
The market is keep on dumping, and some people are now doubting about cryptocurrency do you still believe that altcoins can survive?

For me its a YES but as a newbie its normal to feel doubt, need some encouragement for us to remain positive even the market is red.
When you say doubting about "CRYPTOCURRENCY", you know full well that you are referring to altcoins too right? If the whole markets keeps on dumping then all cryptocurrencies are affected, some may prevail but they will be also affected one way or another. If you believe in cryptos in the first place then you have no choice but to trust it that no matter what happens it will recover given the time and support of the community.
244  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system= Rubbish posts on: March 31, 2018, 06:10:27 AM
It's not, it makes no sense. They can post 100 posts per day without any of them being constructive or without quality whatsoever, and with all those posts they won't be able to rank up.

Give the new system some time, it will all clear up. Tho spamming is obsolete now, the only thing I see going on will be the account selling prices going up.
That's right, sooner or later those shit posters will eventually give up on making their way up to the rankings and will be forced to join social media campaigns as they will realized that they will not be happy on what they will earn on signature campaigns with their current ranks. The time since the new system has been implemented is not yet enough to eradicate all those members but we can see that it made a change significantly.
245  Other / Meta / Re: Decaying smerit should be impose. on: March 30, 2018, 08:03:38 AM
In my case, I only have a few smerits left and the thought that whenever I see a good and merit worthy post, there will always be a much more worthy post and that mindset hinders me to giving my remaining smerits. This may be the case of other high ranking members also. I guess it would be nice if we have a merit reset every month or so, so we will not hoard merit waiting for a more merit worthy post.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is in danger zone now! the recent dip looks bad on: March 30, 2018, 07:13:43 AM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?
This would be a good chance to add more investments to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I guess there will still be a few brainless people who will wait for a lower price thinking that they will have the chance to buy cryptos at a much lower price. Then if the worst case happens, that the market recovers, we will see them bitching about why they did not buy at the dip when they have the chance to.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 30, 2018, 06:56:11 AM
It could be one of these two things that I know, either they fear of losing more money in the process if they keep holding their investment or they are FOMOing. Most people are so gullible that they easily believe to every FUDs/news they hear about their coin that they end up losing trust in them when in fact they should not because all coin has their own news that affect its image in the community.
248  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: March 29, 2018, 11:35:16 AM
what's happening in the bitcoin?? Why continue his descent? should we Convert bitcoin in php?? Im worried for this, my bitcoin is still down,
You have been in the forum for quite a while now so I'm wondering why you still have that kind of mindset about bitcoin. I'm sure you've come across a thread here in the forum discussing the volatility of bitcoin and how many dumps and pumps occurred throughout the years. Converting your bitcoin to php will just add to the supply of bitcoin in the market resulting to a more downward movement in the market. Just hold you're bitcoin for now and don't get easily swayed by these price change.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: March 29, 2018, 11:17:12 AM
I think it depends on the personnal goal of each person. But I always recommend going for a long-term invesment. In the short-term, you can minimize the risks as you go along with your plans and the goal you've set from the start, but if you're not very careful or don't have enough experience, you can suffer a few losses. I believe that investing in the long-term is always safer, you don't have to worry about how volatile the cryptocurrency market can be because from past experiences with cryptocurrencies we know that they always gain more value over time, so as long as you've done a proper research on the crypto you want to invest in, then you can be sure that you're going gain profits in the long run.
Long-term investments are only for people who have a lot of money, they can take care of their lives without using the money they have invested.

No it is not true mate even poor people can go for long time investment why? So I answer you here that you said people have more wealth in there safe so they are not worry about their investment but the truth is bitcoin gives more opportunity to gain money as well, as you can invest all of you saving to buy bitcoin then join signature campaign to get fast and free income with your bitcoin, today I think there is nothing better than bitcoin for me, so everyone has equal right and equal chance to save bitcoin for as long as you want.
Honestly, both type of investments has their own ups and downs depending on the type of coin you are investing with. For example, if you invest in a good altcoin, there is a possibility that the coin's price can go from 0 - 100% (x2 of the price when you invested) in a day. On the contrary, if you held that coin for the long run, it's price could either increase ten folds than the price you originally invested in or if that coin doesn't get a good support from the community, the price could go south. Each type has their own risks and it's up to you on how will you handle it.
250  Other / Meta / Re: How Do You Feel About This New System?? on: March 28, 2018, 07:21:39 AM
Based on the votes, I see that there are a lot of members that are very unhappy about the merit system. LOL, they are just like that because they realized that they will never rank up again considering the spammer/shitposter they are.
In my case, I am happy with these system although it will take me some time to rank up. I feel challenged to earn merit so I will be obliged to put in more efforts and thoughts about my posts.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: March 28, 2018, 07:11:39 AM
Bitcoin of course. Don't underestimate the King of crypto. Better techs will come up and go, but the brand name of Bitcoin will be eternal.
Well, this is an Altcoin board so most likely the OP is not asking opinion about Bitcoin as he/she is probably aware of it by now.
To answer the question of OP, I would not give you the name of the coin so that I will not be spoon-feeding you and still make your own research, so my advice for you is that search for utility tokens because they are most likely the most profitable type of coins.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: slowly, but surely bro!!! on: March 28, 2018, 06:49:02 AM
I’m unsure if we’ll see 11000 USD this month, there seems to be too many people who want to push the price down as soon as we look to be breaking out upwards.

I hope you’re right OP but I remaij sceptical.
You probably forgot that this month the price was already $ 12,000. And that from this has changed? Nothing. The price dropped to $ 7,500. What do you give if, before the end of this month, the price will rise to $ 11,000 and then will decrease to $ 6000? For me, the trend towards stable growth is important, and it has not yet emerged, and this is very bad.

Good observation though. I also notice when the price slowly crawl back beyond $10k, it suddenly pulls back from where it was its lowest this year it even became worse. But going beyond $12k or $11k or whatever price is it this next couple of months doesnt matter, as long as we hit our specific target, no matter when. Thats the most important.
Yep, it is great to have a solid mindset about crypto. You will not be able to earn the most out of it if you will get easily swayed by these frequent price change and FUDs about bitcoin. What's important is that you don't have to look at the price of every coins you have in the market every now and then as it will just get in to you and will get you worried if the situation is bad. A good look once in a while is better for you to have a better decision in crypto.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can something free be a scam? on: March 28, 2018, 06:16:58 AM
Most likely it is a scam. Airdrops that offers you free tokens result to a free support from a lot of people who believed that they will be given the promised coins by the team that lunch the airdrop. In the end, after the ICO is lunch, they will slowly disappear in the radar or they will make absurd excuses about the distribution. This is how you get scammed.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell house to buy bitcoin if it drops below $ 5000? on: March 28, 2018, 06:01:37 AM
Are you an idiot or what? Why would you risk selling your house for investing in bitcoin? You already lost some of your money and you're thinking that you could get back what you've lost if you sell your house. That's an absurd thinking. You must now by now that investing in bitcoin is for long term holding so you will not get what you expect.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: March 28, 2018, 05:40:08 AM
I'd prefer bitcoin as I can be more assured of my investments to be in good amount in the future but seeing the difference of bitcoin to other cryptos, you should be aware that you are in for a long term investment. Right now, it is good to consider investing on great projects that has a huge potential in the crypto community. You can earn faster in altcoins that in bitcoin because alts has a higher chance of going 0-100% of profit.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term predictions for BTC price? on: March 26, 2018, 12:34:04 PM
Hi guys , does anyone have any good short term predictions for Bitcoin? or should we move to other cryptocurrencies?
Well, seeing how the price of bitcoin is fluctuating rapidly, it is still hard to somehow make a prediction if it will finally recover from the dip it had. So IMO, if you can site some good alts to invest with, now is a good time to invest in them while the price of bitcoin is still like this. You can expect some great profits from those alts as soon as the bitcoin's price recover as most of them are dependent to it.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why ICOs fail on: March 26, 2018, 07:14:42 AM
You can add this to your OP:
In my experience, one more reason I can share with why most ICO fail is the lack of communication to the community. Some ICO that I've participated in is only active in communicating at the start of the campaign then after a while or after the ICO finishes, they are slowly being inactive. What they don't know is that it creates doubts to the community leading to FUDs being spread.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest $10K in 1 alt coin or in 10 alt coins? on: March 26, 2018, 07:11:06 AM
What do you recommend and why? Is it better to invest $10K in 1 potentially profitable alt coin or in 10 potentially profitable alt coins? I'm not talking about already established alts like ETH, XRP or DASH. I'm talking about investing in relatively new, undervalued alts with great potential.
Well if you can really estimate that the 10 altcoins you want to invest in, has the potential to be profitable in the long run then IMO it's better to invest that way. On the contrary, if your decision and estimation is purely based on your subjective opinion, I suggest that you should just invest in 1 profitable coin that you can really be sure of, otherwise you'll end up with only scraps of the altcoin.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: What price of BTC will make you sell it? on: March 26, 2018, 07:03:56 AM
Each of us has their own set of value to be considered before selling their bitcoin but in any case, any price will do, as long as you can see or earn some good profits doing this. It is just the greediness inside us of wanting more profit to gain that hinders us from really earning a good one. Because of the volatility of bitcoin, one can't really predict how the price of bitcoin will go so in result they end up waiting for a longer time because of an unexpected turn of events in the market.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Had enough of wrong investments on ALTS? on: March 26, 2018, 06:46:39 AM
Investing in crypto is not just a job of newbie as their are great risks involved in it so only a expert should do it and learn each and every thing about the project you are investing in. The investors should know the real goal of the project and how it will generate topics. And I too think that utility tokens are the most profitable and safe tokens to invest in.
We will all start from being a newbie in regards to investing in cryptocurrencies so better we take the risk and learn from the mistakes/experience that we will have. The goal of every ICO can be easily known through their introduction, the hard part is understanding or evaluating their roadmap and how they will implement it. It's profitable because it is really being used with regards to its purpose.
