241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do banks feel about crypto on: September 17, 2017, 01:35:14 PM
More and more banks will get into crypto, I assure you. They are slowly discovering it as a great investment opportunity with high returns.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do u think about Siacoin (SC)? on: September 17, 2017, 11:18:05 AM
Despite SC is a promising project, there's way too many coins in circulation. So if you're looking for a way to make loads of money, look elsewhere
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to do when price keep dropping ? on: September 17, 2017, 10:27:48 AM
What to do when price keeps dropping? Stop acting like a little girl stressing over any of your investments that are losing value, and try to do that by understanding the temporary nature of the market. Anything can fall in price and then come back and vice versa. Read up a couple of books on trading, especially the ones that highlight the psychological part of this activity. If you can't handle the stress, do not go to any exchanges for a while and just try to do other stuff. I don't know, my personal thought is that only strong people can make money in these markets, the ones who have enough balls, patience and knowledge. The ones who do not overreact to every price swing.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] You are all NOOBS ! on: September 17, 2017, 10:21:52 AM
This market has sucked in all the poor people from the Philippines,
and they're all coming here because they heard you can earn money
just by posting here. No joke.  They've got nothing to say about bitcoin
because they don't understand it or care about it.  They learn canned
responses to frequently asked questions like "how i can earnz from
sig campain??" and "how i become jr member??".  If you wonder why
those topics keep popping up, it's because the shit posters need
another fresh topic to shit post in.  I'm starting to feel nauseous and
therefore will end my rant now.

I think many long termers are sick of this forum. I try to have reasonable convos on here but everyone is a dick these days.

Saying that...this is still where you got to go to find good projects. Once found i think most scurry off into slacks...twitter etc.

I haven't been here long (lurked for awhile before joining) but it's not hard to see why everyone is a dick.  The level of stupidity on this forum is mind boggling.

Examples of topics/posts I see everyday.

1) OMG, BTC fell 1%, should I sell?  I can't handle these wild swings, it's stressinig me out.

2) My altcoin has been red for at least the past 6 hours, is it crashing?  Should I panic?

3)I bought (insert alt here) at the peak because it was rising and I had great FOMO.  2 days later - I sold for 10% loss because it was going down and it's already been 2 WHOLE DAYS, surely it's going to crash to nothing. Sad  Another 2 days later - damnit it spiked 40% and not only did I lose money but I lost out on profit because I'm an idiot that panics at every little dip.

4) (Insert scam alt here) is the best coin ever!  It's going to the MOOONNNNN!  Buy it now and don't miss out!

5) Etc, etc etc, etc etc..........

Edit: There are plenty of idiot legendary members here too who I've seen shill shitcoins and scam ico's.  Legendary status means nothing but all the noobs act like they must have some godlike status just because they have a high post count.  LOL

Sadly, all of this is completely true. It's a shame there is no rule to ban people for that kind of posts, because it's really tiring to see all that trash here all day every day.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monetha (MTH) on: September 17, 2017, 10:14:49 AM
MTH is really a great project, but the important things will be happening in 2018 I believe.

How low do you think the price will go? I feel like this correction is not over yet, and buying OPT at 200-300 would be fantastic.
bounties are not yet paid fully signature bounty is in queue and i think they will paid signature bounty soon
their are 2.33 mil coins for signature bounty participants
and when they distribute them finally them price will go down more then price will go down more
and i will buy more opus token. 300 sat price is much much better price for the token like OPUS
i am waiting for signature bounty token distribution then game on

Thanks for the info. Yes, 300 sat would be awesome now that they burned the tokens, I would buy in like crazy

248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on the current situation of the market? [POLL] on: September 14, 2017, 09:04:16 PM
I'm already invested in BTC for the long term. I'll just Hold for now.
I'd buy more if I could, with the prices going down.

It probably won't go lower then 3000$ USD

I read a fascinating article today mentioning a Goldman Sachs guy who predicted BTC hitting a 4800 USD exactly, and then correcting back to 2000-2300 range. So far ALL of his predictions came true, so I will personally try to stick to his forecast and try to buy in as much as I can at the 2000 range which I hope would be the bottom.

Oh, and the guy also predicted that after this correction, BTC will skyrocket in space  Wink
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEWBIUM - Crypto News and Information Platform on: September 14, 2017, 07:44:18 PM
Hello landomata! Do you perhaps have any plans to add this coin to other exchange in order to get more exposure to new investors? Etherdelta and c-cex have pretty low trading volumes. I would suggest Cryptopia. It may not happen right now, but i would just like to know for the future if there is any work being done in that direction

Cryptopia will be done.

Thanks, that's definitely a great idea to push the price movement
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CYDER] Cyder Networking Lounge [FULL-POS][NOW REBRANDING] on: September 13, 2017, 06:34:34 PM
Don't be afraid, dev said the rebranding will be done until 23 October.

So this might be a very undervalued project!? Great idea, just seems be some team and money missing from the beginning...lets hope the dev use the possibility the supporters gave them with investing in the coin.

And yet the dev hasn't shown up here for five days
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| DAS - Decentralized and Secure. Private Send. Masternodes. on: September 10, 2017, 09:37:53 PM
Bittrex is very particular about several things, but in the end, they don't require a certain "pay to play" amount.

They do require Enhanced Verified Account of a team member or person holding 10% or more of the coins.  They take a lot of intangibles in to account as well, such as if your code has gone under a peer review, if the coin is novel in some way or just another clone and how much pre-mining occurred.

Going forward they want an average of 0.5 BTC/day volume and a lot of liquidity (termed as more than 15 BTC worth of buy orders).  They also like to be kept in the loop on development issues (from the developers).  All in all, Bittrex is a quality exchange (and one I'd love to see DAS on) but not a very easy task to get on nor stay on.

Thanks for this thorough clarification. I see people screaming on pretty much any new coin that it should go to Bittrex, yet they don't understand that the coin has to possess strong fundamentals and adequate liquidity in order to be listed there.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with Masternode? on: September 10, 2017, 04:26:52 PM
anybody here runs a LINDA node? Is the rewards really that great consistently ? They've been around a while

Yes, the rewards for Linda are pretty high right now, I'd say one of the biggest ones on the market.

Probably all because of the long absence of news. And roadmap on the site there is no continuation

Nope, it's because the Chinese are dumping it since the ICO ban in China

Alright, this coin should get to Cryptopia now. This should add lots of volume to this coin's trade. Any plans dev?
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| DAS - Decentralized and Secure. Private Send. Masternodes. on: September 07, 2017, 06:21:33 PM
Hello!

I want to note that DAS wallet works stably well!
Masternodes bring profit, mining goes, DAS for its development time is not bad. The price will only grow, I assure you.
Many people write about updating the source code, not understanding what it's for!
I can update it every day! Add new checkpoints, etc!

I wanted to conduct a small survey of our community. What we really need:

1. What are you worried about in your wallet?

2. What kind of errors did you encounter?

3. What do you think needs to be changed and why?

3. As someone else mentioned, you (we) need to work on getting DAS listed on other exchanges. Right now Cryptopia seems to be a great choice as it will add lots of volume to trades and should increase the value of the coin.
