241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1000 which low capped alt coins should I go for? on: April 24, 2018, 05:49:04 PM
Hi guys and gals! With a budget of 1000$ which low capped coins with high potential should I go for?

Am looking at MOD but it seems too high for the current budget. How about XVG, NPXS, LYM, LCC?

Thanks in advance

For a start I would not look at the optical price but on the actual market cap. There is plenty of good videos on youtube especially on the topic of low caps. Here are some I would recommend for your review:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hacken/
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/adbank/#markets
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/verify/

These are really low cap. One of my favourites is Hacken right now. They are about to get listed on a top 5 exchange, more reviews on youtube coming up, token burn model, low supply and best cyber sec company in crypto.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on the Savedroid exit scam 'stunt ' on: April 22, 2018, 10:43:55 AM
I participated in their ICO

1. Taking the website down and the South Park Meme is going too far. Many ICO participants don`t know how to check wallets online or where to find statements on the situation of people/institutions close to the project. Also many did not even have received the svd tokens in their mew.
2. It was quite obviously a PR gag with the website and the Twitter posts. In Germany also with an ICO you don`t just exit scam. For an exit the point of time would have been totally weird. If you want to scam you first pump the price with supposedly good news and then exit. I still was worried. I was wondering if I argued like that because I just wanted to keep hope in this.
3. The crypto community does not take lightly on playing with their money and feelings. It seems arrogant by savedroid.
4. Even if there is an important message for all the first time investors in their ICO I would at least have let out taking down the website and also not have kept the prank up that long. In Europe, where most investors are, most people only found out the next day for sure, that this was not a scam.

>>> The positive effects might outweigh the costs associated to this stunt in the end, but I find this kind of marketing questionable. It could also backfire, because what will stay in people`s mind, is the sout park meme. The company raised more than enough money to invest in normal marketing. So even if they want to promote the additional product offering for the space of ICOs, this was most likely not the best way to do it. Maybe I am wrong. Time will tell.

For participants and first time investors:
1. Always do your own extensive research
2. Don`t put all your eggs in one basket
3. Looking at ICOs is good. But after the recent bear market there is loads of existing projects that look promising and have very low market caps
4. Even if you want to flip an ICO, only invest in solid projects
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple the currency of the future? on: April 22, 2018, 08:34:00 AM
Evryone known what xrp in the last year ( something like 30000% ). The ripple project is workin' like future bank. In Your opinion is possibile for Ripple become the new global currency for the world?

I am not sure how so many people fall for Ripple. It is not even a real crypto currency. It is NOT in the same space as BTC ETH LTC or NEO. Ripple is not decentralised, no proo of work and not open. Even if it was, it would not be cheap, as it has one of the highest market caps with their supposedly great customer list. It is a fonking Trojan of the banks to infiltrate the crypto market for cheap.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Future on: April 21, 2018, 08:28:03 PM
Opinions on Ripple. Will it actually spike or not worth the investment anymore?

Circulating Supply
39,122,794,968 XRP
Total Supply
99,992,362,643 XRP

Ripple is not decentralised, no proof of work, not open. A number of people predict it will fall to 50 cents and stay there. Ripple has the same market cap as Litecoin Cardano Stellar and EOS put together Does not make any sense to me. I would rather buy a basket of those 4 then.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a good altcoin? on: April 19, 2018, 09:24:55 PM
More than 90 % altcoin are scam. So be very careful. Do you know how to find a good altcoin?

There is a number of different use cases out there. You could learn about those and then check, which projects are active in that space. There is even a number, that are making good money already. Walton I have never held but always springs to my mind on that occasion. Or Wabi or Factom and so on. Do your own research and then spread money to your 3 favourite projects for a start. It might also not hurt to add some Neo and Ethereum to your portfolio.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Savedroid on: April 19, 2018, 09:18:09 PM
The crypto space imploded yesterday as one of the hottest ICOs in the industry was deemed as a cleverly organised scam.
Worst Prank in Crypto History or a Reckless Publicity Stunt? What do you think would become of savedroid after this publicity stunt?

I was not amused yesterday but actually it was the right message to the right people at the right time. They have scores of first time ICO investors in their project, especially in Germany. It is important for those investors to instantly learn not only to use the usual metrics but also your common sense before investing in an ICO. If this had turned out to be a scam, it would have been a very well orchestrated one. Also important for these people to learn, not to put all eggs into one basket, especially in crypto.

There is plenty of people who did not invest in stocks or anything else before. I dont care if they were only drawn by the hype about crypto. No matter how they got here, they have come to the right place. Here is, where an important part of the future will be built. The sooner they really start looking into things, even only use cases or what a blockchain actually is, the better.

Surely was a daring stunt by savedroid, but they might get back stronger and definitely better known from that one. It is getting harder to get noticed with the exploding number of ICOs.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: April 17, 2018, 09:00:30 PM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

I dunno was looking at html at some stage. There was a few things I liked about it but was a while ago but you are holding for 5 years? 5 years is like a lifetime in crypto. Why did you no spread your money around more? Blockchain and protocol all the hype lately. So I would first look at wan man zil rhoc EOS Neo and so on. Then at some stage the use cases might be the best play like wabi, walton, factom, horizon state, oyster pearl and so on.

Then with verge you have a coin that got massively pumped already. They have partnered with a porn website and it makes some kind of sense. If they reach mass adoption that way the potential upside is hard to guess but my crazy French colleague who has been predicting 5 USD for verge for months already might be right after all.

So much going on. Why did you buy these 3? What did your research say and what got you into those? Check if those reasons still valid. But honestly if you are in the game for 5 years and not rich by now you have a lot of catching up to do. Either blockchain is not your game or you have to start doing some serious research. Crazy as it sounds the market is still super young.

P.S. How on earth could you completely miss Ethereum and Neo???
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Disappointment with XVG!! Advice needed plz? on: April 17, 2018, 08:11:47 PM
I would advise you to buy ETH. This is a very good and promising coin, which, after some time, will bring you profit. I think you can also pay attention to NEO, this coin is actively supported and promoted by China. There is also a good option for buying Cardano (ADA)

If you are looking at those 3 you might also check on zilliqa, rchain and Matrix AI. They are seen as potential next generation blockchains. Ethereum has so much built on it, it looks like kind of a standard bet. But this is crypto so spread it on different projects.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VERGE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH PORNHUB!!! on: April 17, 2018, 07:21:44 PM
As earlier poster wrote, sounds fake -
however, it's not like it's illegal to pay for porn, therefor any crypto would work just fine to use,
the length one has to go to Maybe get someones real info(depends if someone used it on an exchange connected to wallet etc), is not something anyone except government could achieve,
and again since it's not illegal, government won't care.

So in short: using crypto for this purpose makes sense, but why it'd be only with Verge does not.

Why would it be fake? Porn one of the best reasons for many to actually use a privacy coin I have seen so far. Also pornhub has in the region of 3.4 billion visitors. If that only translates to 340 mil actual visitors and 2% of them are purchasing customers it is still a staggering number of 7 million people every month with a good incentive to use verge. Why would you pay with credit card when you can use verge? Might turn into a real case of mass adoption.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken - So much under the radar..! on: April 16, 2018, 08:12:10 PM
Hacken is completely undervalued. I think the expected listing on top 5 exchange is imminent. Even without that it is a no brainer. The customer and partner list is getting longer on a regular basis. Then the low token supply and the token burn model. Also the topic of cybersecurity is spot on. Really it does not get any better than that. I wont say x100 but plenty of music in that one.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Oyster Pearl is NOT a scam! Please read - Jullz. on: April 16, 2018, 08:09:36 PM
lol yeah hell of a dump. Does not make me nervous for a minute. With the shells the project will be complete. Anynoymus data storage and anonymous internet access anywhere. All one could ask for. I am looking forward to mainnet launch!
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you react to ctyptomarket? on: April 15, 2018, 04:40:14 PM
Hi everyone, how do you guys react to cryptomarket growth and fall? I mean do you start panicking when it is falling?
Do you blame yourself when you lost some money while trading and so on?

I am saddened today because with all that manipulation against bitcoin a really cool project for the mass adoption of crypto called moxy did not even reach the soft cap. Maybe there was a lack of marketing but I mainly blame that on those who want to control the blockchain space or take it over for cheap. And I dont like Ripple.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Vezt Token now $.60 -> $5 in a few months? on: April 14, 2018, 08:00:21 PM
I am thinking about purchasing some vezt. The price is super low. The whitepaper is currently not accessible. Does anyone know what exactly happens to the tokens used for buying royalties on songs? I would like to know if these tokens just flow back to Vezt.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it too late to invest on neo ico ? on: April 14, 2018, 03:59:17 PM
is it still possible to invest on neo ico?

Neo has been trading for a while already.  Grin Most likely you can buy it at your favourite exchange. If you are referring to Neo based projects there is not too much going on that I am aware of. Ontology airdropped tokens to Neo holders and Bridge and Narrative are finished. On https://switcheo.exchange/ you find the first decentralised exchange for neo tokens.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is officially dead on: April 12, 2018, 08:04:29 PM
We have seen ETH going up and down so many time. Now do you think ETH is officially dead, why do you think so?

Ethereum will be one of the cornerstones in the future of blockchain. Recently there is a lot of enthusiasm for EOS but if someone is right now catching up on Ethereum with regards to building a substantial ecosystem it is Neo. With Nex and Switcheo it is getting his own DEXs at the moment and serious projects like Narrative or Bridge are using Neo.

I personally like Matrix as a bet on the future as it has strong backing in China and is trying to improve on ETH. In general I am very positive on Chinese blockchain projects also from an investor perspective. Truth be told a lot of ICO I participated that felt like cash grabs or scams are US based. Vezt is a good example for that. Still could not resist to invest in Bridge as they are closely related with SAS, who are big on AI and machine learning.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: April 12, 2018, 07:50:16 PM
Hello Wink. I want to hear your opinion. Cryptocurrency is a bubble? How long will it last? Is it worth continuing to invest in it?

Where do you see the bubble? The wole market has a significantly lower market cap than facebook alone. Bubble territory might start around 3 trillion looking at internet bubble. Could be a lot higher with all that additional fiat in circulation. The market is still in its infancy. Maybe there will be a cleansing of the market. There is a lot of coins with pure currency functionality or a lot of competition in the space of privacy coins.

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To the moon ??))) on: April 12, 2018, 07:46:51 PM
📈 Well friends, let's go .To the Moon?
Bitcoin - 7700$
Ethereum - 463$

✅ - Yes
❎ - No

It looked a little bit like the rest of market could start to move more independently from Bitcoin. To early to call that a change of direction but well move up today was first big green candle after a long period with regular red candles. Maybe it is substantial new money in the market. I hope so and good luck then to CME with trying to keep Bitcoin down.  Grin
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: April 11, 2018, 10:17:22 PM
What do you thing, where crypto currency is going? Do you think this is end of crypto?

What kind of question is that? The whole space is still super early days. Where do you see the end of crypto. The best use cases are not even identified yet.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICOs on: April 11, 2018, 10:15:58 PM
There so many ICOs coming out everyday. The market can't support thousands of ICOS. This has to  stop.

More due diligence then ever is needed. It is true. It is not possible any more to review all ICO. I recommend also using some of the existing spreadsheets and intel provided for example in pool groups to have some filters and be able to find promising projects. The ICO fighting to reach soft cap can offer interesting opportunities, if the project is promising.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos in the green on: April 11, 2018, 10:26:01 AM
Bitcoin, and all altcoins are in the green after a long spell of depression. It is good news for all investors or potential investors, and has brought hopes for the market to rise again.
However, many countries and regulators are not in favour of it. Social networking giants, like Facebook, Google and Twitter have banned crypto ads and ICOs, in open aversion to the crypto world. It means cryptos will have more challenges ahead. Will the cryptos resist challenges ahead and take over?

Question for me is not about crypto in general but about bitcoin. The price is clearly getting manipulated as all the red needles show. Still there is already massively undervalued projects in the market. It will be interesting to see how that will play out. People like Soros coming into the market will have a cleansing effect. Useless projects will die quicker and good projects will getall the funding they need.

Right now the market cap of the whole blockchain market still significantly lower than only facebook. That gives an indication how very early days this space still is.
