Ethereum is not dead at all. Meanwhile, you all are thinking whether ETH or cryptos are dead or not, we have another real application of the Ethereum network.

Chilean organization for national energy regulation, has recently announced the launch of a project based on the Ethereum network, to record data from the national energy sector.

Obviously it will exploit the benefits of the Ethereum blockchain and its immutability. In fact the test of the project, instead of creating a centralized and vulnerable database for man-in-the-middle or "easy to manipulate", will develop a registration system made up registering data directly on the Ethereum network.

Inexperience traders and newbies only panic when a stock ,asset or crypto goes down. Ethereum is still a player in cryptocurrency market that is why many ICO are still using the Ethereum platform to fund thier projects. The fact that , its price has been moving downward of late doesn't mean that it is dead.

Ethereum will be one of the cornerstones in the future of blockchain. Recently there is a lot of enthusiasm for EOS but if someone is right now catching up on Ethereum with regards to building a substantial ecosystem it is Neo. With Nex and Switcheo it is getting his own DEXs at the moment and serious projects like Narrative or Bridge are using Neo.

I personally like Matrix as a bet on the future as it has strong backing in China and is trying to improve on ETH. In general I am very positive on Chinese blockchain projects also from an investor perspective. Truth be told a lot of ICO I participated that felt like cash grabs or scams are US based. Vezt is a good example for that. Still could not resist to invest in Bridge as they are closely related with SAS, who are big on AI and machine learning.

No, ethereum is one of the most stable coins and also one of the most profitable coins nowadays, people believe in smart-contract technology Wink.

So many tokens these days are based off the Ethereum platform, so I daresay that unless there's another alternative that those projects can 'easily' transfer to, then there's always going to be a use case for Ethereum.
Yes it has gone up and down constantly, but guess what, everything else has, Bitcoin included. Since post-Christmas, the market has been so volatile, so for the most case, the ups and downs of coins are just natural.

If you're holding ETH and are worried, I'd suggest potentially closing Blockfolio, take a break from the crazy crypto world, and focus your attention elsewhere; it can be healthy!

Good luck!

From my point of view, many others agree that ETH is not dead but some FUDs around their platform are justified. And the number of scams or coins that do nothing is everywhere. I really hope that ETH will have some sort of audit system made into tokens on their platforms. So, Blockchain ETH will still exist and will appear soon.

I propose to the administration of this forum to delete such threads like this. No need in panic spreading. Ethereum will be forever. Those little fluctuations are common for many currencies on the market.
people are here to learn, to know the opinion of other mb more experiencive profi...and create such topics.
I dont think that it shows a panic. main goal of all forums supposed to be changing knowlefges (not like now- getting posts and merits). if administration destroy this topic- I think there is much more other topics absolutely senseless.
about eth- no way, very many projects are tied with eth platform, it can not be dead.

I think you are saying that ethereum is officially dead. I do not know you can assume from where and what data can make you believe in your word.
actually if you try more discussions and seek knowledge you will understand what has happened in the last few months. you see ethereum grow back and what you assume is wrong

The usual drop in prices after a sharp increase. nothing unusual, the usual high volatility of the crypto currency

no, ethereum is not dead, it just normal for cryptocurrencies up and down prices, as you can see the price of ethereum is rising, it seems many people believe in ethereum so they are now buying.

This is not the death of the crypto currency. This is a correction of the price and the entire market after a sharp increase

Hey dude.have patience this is quite common behavior in crypto world to show back and forth aptitude.ETH is a very concrete project based coin and currently many developers around the globe are following its smart contract feature in their projects.right now market is bit recover and for last 24 hours all the coins have increased in value.I am sure that investment in ETH and holding it would be highly beneficial.
