I have done some research regarding bitcoin within my community, and have noticed of many frauds about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The old “easy money” scheme still catches people’s attention. Lack of information and lack of discipline among community members were the primary problem encountered. The common mindset in terms of bitcoin is “investing without working” you just need to give money to us (so-called traders) to amass your net worth. How bitcoin investment work is not known in the community. Information dissemination of its importance is not properly implemented. Implementation should start with:

Community/General Public. Public should start their research first before joining any bitcoin investments. Awareness on how to invest in bitcoin should reflect to economic, social and political as well as community development.

Educational Leaders. Leadership effectiveness of school curriculum, university administrators/faculties should include the needs and problems of bitcoin. It is high time to guide faculties in scheduling of daily lessons that will help develop student’s knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Teachers/Professors. Thru curricular offerings together with the applications of knowledge and skills achieve in universities professors promote growth and development of the youth for the improvement of cryptocurrency community life. Proper education will surely help us in building cryptocurrency revolution.

Parents. Family is the very foundation of an individual in our community. Most of our members here in bitcointalk are students.  Parents are the ones providing the financial needs of the students. They believe that their children will gain enough knowledge and skills to become useful, productive and responsible citizens in the future, so they give support to school programs to meet their expectations. I am sure universities will have enough funds from parents if they implement bitcoin awareness in their curriculum.

What about your community? Any suggestions? Your views on this issue.

Sounds too selfish, but it is their right  Smiley Although, I think that an integral part of self-development is charity and helping those who have less luck in life.

That is the reality of life. A choice. Smiley
I hope they will still find their way into helping people after science finally found the fountain of youth.

Nations that open up their economies to blockchain and crypto will keep on gaining. In the US, I've seen Vermont, California, Wyoming, and Florida pass laws to attempt and draw in blockchain advancements.

I think its great that Kenya is opening up their nation to it since they assume imperative part in their district, however African nations like South Africa.

The Kenyan Government (to the blondes, Kenya is a nation in Africa)is intending to assemble a blockchain to help digitalization of their administrations.

It must be hard for some nation to see that they are prohibiting crypto and some African nations are opening to embracing for what's to come

I figure they don't require bitcoin, essentially, it is utilized for an unlawful market, while in Kenya it is so bravo to live, with the exception of raising the economy of the nation and the evaluations of the president)

You just revised the statement and reply of other members here. You should have at least quoted there reply.

Some of drug are ligalized but depend upon to the kind of the drugs would be ligalized,,in my country allow people to use drug while only have prescription drug only with health professional other than are strickly prohibited like elligal drugs (shabu). because for this negative effect in the body,it also avoid to used even at ligal age, although we have freedom to choose what is right or wrong to our body because you should be responsable to your health, but the essence of taking illigal drugs are destroy to your body or even your life

Which country is that?

What about the other bit? I've added my Steemit name to my profile as I suggested. Is this something that others should do if they are active on other platforms?

That is a good idea.
You can also put it in profile> Personal Text so that readers can immediately identify that you're also the author of the said article from the other platforms.

Its a good educative article however OP might want to make a correction about the elliot wave theory, because 2 and 4 wave didn't count as a corrective move as it is still an upside trend. Here is the correct elliot waves move where there are A, B and C waves that describe elliot wave as a cycle to complete the corrective structure.  Wink Wink

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. There are different corrective waves and the example info are just basic, so that people can easily understand. See some corrective waves below:

Understanding Mass Psychology and Elliott Wave Theory
Wave 1 (impulsive) is an increasing small wave, a light pressure of demand (Bull Move). In Wave 1, prices rise because of a relatively small number of participants who buy traded currency pairs, for fundamental or technical reasons (speculation), pushing the prices up.

Wave 2 (corrective) is a decreasing wave, downward pressure in the supply (Bear Move). After a significant growth, investors may receive fundamental and technical signals that the currency was over purchased. In such a moment, wave 2 increases when people who initially bought decide to take advantage, while the newcomers initiate short positions. Price starts in the other direction but generally does not pass over the minimum initial position which initially attracted buyers at a moment of the wave 1.

Wave 3 (impulsive) is an increasing small wave in a pressure of the demand (Bull Move). It is often the longest of the five waves, wave 3 is a sustained wave when a large number of investors were mobilized by wave 2 to buy. With a larger number of buyers, the safety margin increases, extending above the maximum price originally formed by the wave 1. At this point, the threshold of resistance is one of support.

Wave 4 (corrective) is a small wave in a supply pressure (Bear Move). At Wave 4, buyers start getting tired (they remain without money or optimism) and again use the over purchasing signals. Generally, there are still quite enough buyers on the market, so here the decrease is relatively small.

Wave 5 (impulsive) is an increasing small wave in a demand pressure (Bull Move). Wave 5 is the final movement of the observed sequence evolution. Right now buyers are all motivated by greed rather than fundamental or technical justification, to buy and bid higher prices elsewhere. Normal price reaches a maximum before starting to move in the opposite direction.

Concerning environmental projects, I'd like to mark renewable sources of energy, as one of the top industries that should be developed nowadays.
But we also need to realize the causes - bad educated people.

To be honest, I don't understand why lucky bitcoin millionaires, haven't started to develop such extremely important spheres, they have an important source - money, which could easily be converted to any kind of other necessary sources . I hope most of them haven't lost themselves because of wealth like actors, politics and businessmen. So why we still haven't seen any big and important steps from them?

They are funding science projects that involve immortality, for them to enjoy their wealth forever. Smiley

If I was loaded I would probably do the same: to spend a lot of money in those projects.

Cryogenically frozen body will do, $100,000 to $200,000=whole body. Smiley

Life lenghtening and immortality would bring other problem, like how we feed all those people, the ones that don’t die and the others that are born. But the optimistic scientists like Cordeiro believe that Science and Technology will solve these problems.

I'm sure they will find solutions by that time.

Is this the video: Jose Cordeiro - The Death of Death ?

If you have 100,000BTC, what will you do?
254  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your Idea on Prolonging Life. on: April 29, 2018, 06:18:52 AM
I like the idea of life lengthening, especially with life quality, but I think we all have to get the idea that at some point we are going to die, no matter science developments.

So many people have followed religions because they provide ease before the fear of death.

Nowadays wealthy people are spending their money in science projects because they fear dying as well.

But atomic bombs, cosmic cataclysms and the like will always be there.

So, I welcome whatever developments can bring us more life and more quality but I always have in mind that at some point this is going to end.

Yeah, that is the frustrating part. I still believe that fountain of youth will soon be found by science.

Not only do many of the super-rich want immortality, but a good number of them are doing something about it. The likes of Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google, Larry Ellison, Co-founder of Oracle, and investor Peter Thiel are all putting money into ventures that are focused on extending the human life span.

A multitude of approaches being taken are aiming for immortality…or, at the very least, a much longer and healthier life. There is the idea of merging artificial intelligence with humans to avert death. By transferring your consciousness into an artificial brain, you will continue to live even though your body is worn out. Cryogenics is being seriously considered. Here they freeze your body and, at a minimum, your head until the field of medicine advances enough to bring you back.

I’m a fan on how to prolong life. I want to live forever, but I know my body cannot, only my name will.  I always believe that someday science will find a way to prolong life and can stop aging (bitcoin did not excess, look at it now). I am doing so much in life, grinding night and day to live a life that I wanted, and thinking it will soon end is somewhat unsatisfying.

News: Scientists keep alive brains of decapitated pigs to prompt ethics debate:

A system developed by a Yale University team is leading to suggestions their work could be developed for humans.

A team at Yale University have experimented on up to 200 pigs' heads, taken from an abattoir roughly four hours after the animals' slaughter, by connecting them to a system called "BrainEx".

Using the system of pumps, heaters and bags of artificial blood, Prof Sestan described how billions of individual cells were found to be healthy and capable of normal activity after circulation was restored to the pigs' brains.

Prof Sestan suggested use of the system, dubbed "brain in a bucket", would probably not be unique to pigs and was likely to work in any species, including primates.

The study is likely to provoke ethical questions, such as whether the work could be developed further to preserve human brains outside a body - an area explored in sci-fi and horror movies.

Prof Sestan said: "People are fascinated. We have to be careful how fascinated."

Currently, those hoping to prolong their life after death have resorted to having their bodies cryogenically frozen, in the hope medical science will be able to bring them back to life and cure their conditions at some point in the future.

"Hypothetically, somebody takes this technology, makes it better, and restores someone's [brain] activity.

"That is restoring a human being. If that person has memory, I would be freaking out completely."

You work hard every day as a Doctor, Professor, Developer, Banker, Trader, Manager, Teacher, etc., but for what. Of course, for our daily needs, have you think about all the things that you have right now. All the hard work will soon go and just stay in these shadows of the earth. How many of you by chance think of living forever?

ndico, welcome in!

I am sure before the implementation of merit system theymos already figure out some safety net or contingency plan. Suggestion is very easy for us to say but the implementation and to build a system that would actually work is different. Let us wait for a while on how we can handle this system. I am tired of reading about merit system every day. How much more if we are in theymos shoes. Let us just move on, make a serious & meaningful discussion here. Room for improvement is limitless and it takes time. Read.

Nice to see that blockchain can greatly affect Africa. I can see that the technology will help overcome its continent’s challenges. We all know that corruption and fraud are always a big problem not just in Africa but also in the whole world. Government and its people should embrace blockchain technology; it will offer new solutions to these past problems that we inherent.  Blockchain is a very captivating technology that will soon change Africa; it is going to be a powerful tech ever created.

Most countries don’t see bitcoin as a competitor or a threat but take some security measures regarding how secure could be; for example, United States consider bitcoin not a coin but a commodity according to the IRS but in a report in recent years showed that only a small amount of people declare they have bitcoins and they treated as criminals.

The problem with these countries is that most of them have a monetary policy that guide them and they’re the only authority established by the State to create money.; that’s why the United States in a Congress Report suggested to consider them as a commodity (due the price fluctuation) and not a currency.

Lots of people are using bitcoin in order to find some financial help to save their assets. For example, in Venezuela bitcoin’s demand is big because their currency is dead, it’s useless to save something with the Venezuelan bolivar and too difficult to find dollars (USD) so they use bitcoin in order to save the money and hope to gain some value. It’s affecting in a small scale to the economy and the State is prosecuting those who use bitcoin. No joke. They detained two engineers for mining.
Take a read at the document, there is much more information in there than just the usual Gov is bad, cryptos are this and that... They are clearly recognising the value of the technology and that means real money will be injected.

nice! i think you rigth sir. and 100℅ i vote to your post. even you make a lot of post but you can't  earn merit because of not good or not quality post you maked. so remember you saying. that first. make a good research about crypto or blackchain or ech.. . so after that merit cames next.

“Vote” is the only word I understand with your reply. I am not running for any position here, so no need for vote. Smiley

I do not read more whitepapers because I only hold bitcoin and some trusted coins. As an investor, we only look for details such as stability, team, company behind, road map, contiguity plan, etc. I am sure people will agree that they don’t really check the whitepaper’s English proficiency, as long as we understand their purpose, security of investments and we will have continuous profit, it's good to go.

How are you supposed to "understand their purpose, security of investments" without careful study of the WP which is supposed to contain all tech details and calculations?

The topic is about "Translation quality" not to study the whitepapers by details. You can re-read OP’s topic and my reply for better understanding.
