Recent airdrops became useless and not much of a value. Except google form and some name there is nothing behind.
Main concept for 90% of these is to collect "donations" to get "more tokens".
Most of these tokens will never be created as there is no token address, etc.

If project wants is legit you can find:
 - ANN on BTT
 - Website
 - Whitepaper / Roadmap
 - Token address
 - Team presentation
 - Achievements of the team, so far, prior to airdrop

Of course it doesn't mean all those projects are legit. Example is Corethum, where team on website was composed from collected randomly linkedin profiles.

For sure, if project runs airdrop, there would be no donation required at all and this is first sign of scam.
Donation can be optional or project might have automated token sender, which requires to send 0 value transaction to specific address to get tokens back (if ETH platform, usually sender has to cover gas cost).

So, in general there is no unified measure to differentiate scam from legit airdrop/project.
It is only time. It is worth to apply for these and check project status as sometimes it is possible to find interesting projects and then buy more tokens even.

General idea of the airdrop is to get community attention around project, so people will get involved and potentially invest or propagate word about new initiative. As such, airdrop is a good think.
There will be always inappropriate use of this, so at the end of the day it is our own judgment which airdrop is worth and which is not worth to apply.

All waves tokens you can trade on waves platform.
As projects will develop they might hot other exchanges.
If they won't tokens will be useless.
I guess these are more successful then all recent airdrops on eth platform.
Last 200+ airdrops on eth is fake, while waves at least send some tokens.

All depends what is your measure of success.
As I said earlier I'm looking at project in 3-6 months perspective and airdrop gives me initial interest in project and their objective.
Trading is important but not something I expect immediately.

I'm not aiming for projects like for example corethum (fake project, stolen linkedin profiles, etc).
I'm more interested in stable projects which will be worth to buy more tokens and cumulate, not to drop fast for few bucks.
Aiming for 50 or 100usd is not worth time spent on filling of all these forms.

Well.. not all of them gave lot of money, however some of these projects have still way to go.
Depends what you expect from airdrops.
If you want quick money and fast turnover, then yes, in most cases it will be waste of space in wallet.
I look at projects with airdrops with 3 to 6 months perspective.
That is period where you will see if token was junk or not and project was fake or real.

For quick turnover, I agree, most of Waves airdrops as well as non-Waves, is useless.

Received all of these. Now waiting for second round of Poseidon (hopefully will qualify).
Also, on Waves platform three are airdrops to all account holders regardless of the amount of Waves you hold.
It is worth to watch and participate in airdrops on Waves definitely.

It will be interesting project once transaction fee can be maintained on same level, regardless amount sent.
Definitely something which would attract merchants.
On the other hand, as token is based on Ethereum platform, how potential price increase on Ethereum itself might impact BTCx transaction cost?
What I'm interested in is, how you will be able to keep fee constant?

It will be interesting to see how PoF will work.
Also, if you offer zero transaction fee that will be very attractive payment system for merchants, so should be easy to get commercial attention.
Good to see will be integration with ecommerce platforms. That might be fast way to enter commercial space.

I understand Ethereum network issues, which happened recently.
However, it would be good to see some comments from dev(s), if they still interested in project.
Some projects are doing token swaps despite Eth network slowness recently, so it doesn't seem to be ultimate showstopper.

So, according to plan, Dec 9th airdrop for holders should be distributed.

Check with real Kick Coin issuers. http://www.kickico.com there is no airdrop.
And this one is using same logo. Why would you pretend to be another token?
Contract number is not a problem. Few hours with visual studio code and solidity and you have it.

It's a scam and has nothing to do with Kick Coin which is in circulation.
