An advice, don't make fake volüme when exchange is live.
Lots of exchange doing this and it is very easy to see fake volume. And it is causing instant trust issues with that exchange.
We will not  Transpanrecy was at the heart of the founders business (check JFD and DMTrading on google). team do well to be transparent the artificial manipulations of the volumes sooner or later they are discovered, instead the users will appreciate and will always come back to an exchange that behaves correctly... It is easily can be discovered actually. Check any Exchange that you never heard before and says they have millions of dollar volume. Enter the biggest volume pair and just watch. You can understand in 3 seconds |

The end of this year marks a good opportunity for them to address the community and give us a summary and an outlook for next year.
You are right, new years might be perfect opportunity for team to sit down and set some new ground rules which will adapt to new crypto situation which doesnt look as dreamy as it did one year back. To be honest this project is so off the wall 2017's crypto delusion was their only chance of raising any money at all. Now this window of opportunity has closed too. Prove me wrong. Right now only Money is from private investors. And as far as i know they are after them too. Otherwise you can't raise millions with a bounty program right now. Everybody is broke and suspicious against every new ico. |

Aren't Polymath and Swarm competitors of dusk? Because they are already ahead of Dusk and have a working platform if I remember correctly.
I don't know about Polymath but I know that Swarm has already some STOs on it, the last one is doing very good, they collected like $3M so far (as far as I remember) Swarm? I never heard them before. I only now an app for checking in some places you go. Well, it would be hard to dethrone them if they are already active. Still, can be doable. |

Seems lots of team discovered there is a hole in this area and trying to fill it with their projects. I checked some and must say Dusk Network seems way better compared to them.
Sure, once people realize that there is a niche where money can be made, new projects will emerge. Has any of the competitors of DUSK already a working platform? As far as i know, they are all in ico phase or pre-ico phase. Idea was good and it come out from a team first (i can't be sure) and instantly similar projects popped up So timelines are very similar. |

I didn't think this before. But in SEC point of view, every ico is security. And people mostly buy these things to gain profit at some point, not spend in-app. If they would spend in-app, they would probably wait for the full version.
The chance is big yea, and you better not kick the Bull. We can make fancy models that reduce suppy with 90% and burn and pay dividend, but our goal is much better! Get adoption for the platform and that bring value on its own. We really want this to serve as a utility token for the platform. Aren't you based in Netherlands and probably not accepting any US citizens in ico. So you are out of SEC's juristiction area which means they can't touch you. |

DUSK is the real deal, you all should be excited about it
I can't agree more. Right now Dusk Network seems like the most promising ico among others. More a STO than an ICO.  No it is not an STO at all. It is a place for STO's but their token/coin is not anything about security tokens at all. So ico would suit more. |

I think would be wise to start accepting cash rather than crypto, this bear period is involving the financial market as well, so i crypto come bak is not likely to happen very soon
Taking into account the regulatory pressures and all the inconveniences caused by the SEC to previous projects, would this really be a good idea? Or would they bring them closer to the risk of legal sanctions? Why is that? Unless they go the traditional route and pitch to VCs, I think they would end up in the same space as other crowdfunding projects like those on Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Which are not completely unregulated by the way. You have to deliver a product within a reasonable time frame or be forced to refund donations. Actually kickstarter and indiegogo projects are mostly ending delivering something. Instead, icos raised millions of dollars seems not. And this should stop. |

This sounds interesting. Virtual reality is a future such as blockchain as well. Decentraland is became very popular already... May be this project will become popular too.
But how you will monetize this?
I think they will use utitlity tokens to pay for services and purchases inside the VR. Does the token have holding value where people can get something by holding it or perhaps there is a mechanism to support and increase the token price? If there is anything rather than just relying solely on the law of supply and demand. For a utility token i believe taking some percantage of tokens out of circulation is a must. Like buying tokens with some percentage with the profit or just burning a ratio of all transactions. But something should be implemented. |

The crypto market is imploding. With all due respect, how about continuing research and developing a product instead of doing talks for a handful of people? There might not be a market left in a few weeks.
I don't think the market is coming to an end, is just readjusting as it naturally happen. It will rise from the ashes as a Phoenix, don't be afraid.  Some projects will, most won't! Yeah, i believe market learned something in this depression. About crypto, yes it is in a big depression but the technology not worse from last year and we are better even some points. Just the value changed. It can change again. And i believe it wiil. And that day comes, projects like dusk network will shine! |

To get millions of users you need to deliver a honest, seamless, and accessible product, being accessible, very transaprent, and with a charismatic team. to have millions of users, first of all it serves an aggressive and targeted advertising campaign that reaches many people interested in the service, and offers unique features that any users can not find from other similar services... Well it can work this way, but honestly it is costing a lot of money. Let me ask you a question : how did you hear about Uber the first time ?From a friend like most of the people So i get your point, best marketing is customers making it for free also i remember they were offering some kind of referral too. |

What kind of MVP are we talking about? I cannot even remember what they were trying to create to be honest. Maybe I have become demented. I could really use some brain rejuvenation right now. I hope something we can see and understand their vision. But about the details, we didn't hear so much. If we did, i missed it. Would be nice if we got something before the new year. I doubt it. It seems there is no update. The only good thing, that they get fiat investment and didn't lose big part of it like the other icos. |

No it is true. To get millions of users you need to deliver a honest, seamless, and accessible product, being accessible, very transaprent, and with a charismatic team. When binance appeared they were very lucky. They didn't need most of the things above because market has very little competition with horrible support. Right now tremendous competition is making everything harder. |

is the team from Tel Aviv? I believe the israeli dev/blockchain scene is top notch! Thought Dusk was from the Netherlands though. I also read it a few times that the team has a dutch origin. Maybe it's a combined team, some in the Netherlands some in Isreal. I don't think nationality is not important at all. I don't care where they from it is the crypto nation we are all from the same country. |
