241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation on: March 16, 2018, 03:48:35 PM
The news seems to be fake news we have to wait for official announcement because without government interaction it is not possible to accept bitcoin.
That's why people should wait for official announcement from the owner of Amazon.

Is this true, I mean can't a vendor simply accept payment in bitcoin through accounts or in the name of branches in countries where bitcoin use for standard transactions "legal"?
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 16, 2018, 03:46:24 PM
I feel its inevitable for it to at some point loose popularity and become outright obsolete with the advent of quantum computing and the death of regular encryption but the idea behind it and similar cryptos will only gain popularity.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 16, 2018, 03:44:24 PM
Who is Satoshi?

He was Edmond Dantés... and he was my father. And my mother... my brother... my friend. He was you... and me. He was all of us.

V is Vendetta, I like.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Oliver 'You’re not investing, you’re gambling' on: March 14, 2018, 08:19:47 PM
Investing is just potentially lower risk gambling ironically the only big difference being that when you invest the factors at play aren't as clearly defined as mathmatical probability of getting a certain hand in a deck of cards.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 14, 2018, 08:17:25 PM
In the end the primary difference is control and reliability in the end you wont have bitcoin loans floating around that a bank would do and you'll never be in a position in the case of people not repaying their loan causing banks to crash. Then there's the privacy offered by Bitcoin and the decentralization which removes money from governance.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Bitcoin in 10 years: $ 100 or $ 100.000 on: March 13, 2018, 08:19:36 PM
I would go with the prediction of $100,000 per coin. If gold can have a market cap of $7 trillion, then it is quite possible that Bitcoin in future may be able to attain a market capitalization of $1.7 trillion. You also need to remember that the interest in assets such as gold is going down.
This and I mean in the end BTC will be a finite resource people want to exchange the more widespread its use(which is the best we cn hope for in the future) the more it'll be worth
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't live to see the next 10 years on: March 13, 2018, 08:14:14 PM
This is one of the gloomiest death of Bitcoin messages I've ever read because for once all the concern points were valid Sad
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fight against Big whales market manipulators on: March 09, 2018, 10:42:04 AM
I was thinking. (Bad sign!)    Say those whales instead of working together to manipulate the price they got greedy and started to work against each other.  All trying to make the most money.  Could this crash the market in a huge way eventually.
To be honest this is very unlikely to happen because whales would always look out for the overall best interests for their investment if you have trillions of dollars worth of a resource you wont turn it all into trash for no reason.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we share our knowledge to the other people about bitcoin??? on: March 08, 2018, 07:42:43 PM
Word of mouth and direct conversation in my opinion is the best because half the time talking to others about Bitcoin feels like a big ponsy scheme xD or at least to those who dont know it or are skeptical.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: March 08, 2018, 07:41:03 PM
Bitcoin's value is like platinum's value we place it subjectively based on its rarity etc.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: March 07, 2018, 05:06:42 PM
Honestly this goes hand in hand with bitcoin becoming more widely known lots of uncommitted buyers and opportunistic sellers but tbh thats the whole point of a currency and its on that kind of use that something develops.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 05:05:13 PM
Rather than watching for drops watch for the next rise, because if you sit and wait for it to fall it might just spike up suddenly, my kneejerk reaction is to buy now.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 06, 2018, 07:21:43 PM
"We" why would we Bitcoin is the currently most popular crypto currency and the most widely known. Just tell people in your immediate circle and it should spread pretty easily.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: March 06, 2018, 07:13:00 PM
Well I mean, the price of something is decided by supply and demand if there's no supply and infinite demand it has infinite value, inversely if theres no demand and infinite supply, its worth essentially garbage.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: March 04, 2018, 06:18:18 PM
Bitcoin can technically be hacked yes, breaking the encryption on a transaction can give hackers access to a the details pertaining to that transaction, another is attempting to "steal" the blockchain and replace the information stored with false transactions among other things, there's no lack of videos online that detail how bitcoin works, with that in mind you can get a rough idea of how it can be 'hacked'.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: March 04, 2018, 06:14:27 PM
For the most part I think it relates to the fact that Bitcoin has been around the longest and gets the most extensive media coverage. This just makes it really popular and sought after.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Crypto, Any Advice? on: March 04, 2018, 06:13:08 PM
There are a few method's for buying crypto, the one I advocate is buying a set amount monthly, use only what you can spare from your personal budget and buy that much monthly for the most part you should be able to make decent savings and ROI.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin. on: March 02, 2018, 10:01:20 PM
I mean in the end everyone is profit driven so if it's healthy for the exchange they'll do it.
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Any idea for poor people? on: March 02, 2018, 10:00:05 PM
Ironically in most 3rd world countries the uptake of newer digital technologies is faster than most lower level 1st world countries. By being behind they skip a few generations of tech and have less unnecessary infrastructure.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining or trading??HELP ME!!! on: March 01, 2018, 05:47:03 PM
2 routes, you can buy bitcoins and hold them to see if they gain value and sell for profit, or you can use your computer or hardware to "mine" the digital currency and then sell it, check mining discussion forum for more on that Smiley
