241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: October 15, 2021, 02:28:04 PM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks

To earn more is to risk more. In order to harvest more need to plant more. That's right but don't forget that not all coins are good to hold for long term. Just chose to hold the top coins and with promising future.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price of CAKE $50 realistic? on: October 15, 2021, 01:52:18 PM
I think it is worth to hold Cake for long term because so far it has no problem and Pancakeswap is a DEX which have a higher demand nowadays. So, for sure Cake will increase more as the time goes by and also Cake is already listed in different crypto exchange including Binance.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ways to trade? on: October 14, 2021, 03:02:32 PM
Hi I am new to crypto and wonder what are some of the best technical indicators to use for trading?

If you are just new in crypto, better to learn first and gather some knowledge about trading. Also I don't think if there is best technical indicator to be use in trading. For me if you know how to analyse and understand the graph and price movement, it can be a great help for you in doing trade. Also spend time to search good altcoins to trade.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Will we see new ATH this year? on: October 14, 2021, 02:53:20 PM
Even if you are good enough at analyzing the bitcoins graph and price prediction, nevertheless, the value of bitcoins is still unpredictable. In the current status of bitcoin, there is a possibility that it will break the previous record and make another ATH before the end of this year. If the demands continue to increase or there are whales who are going to manipulate bitcoin price again, then perhaps we could see another ATH this year.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: October 13, 2021, 04:24:40 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

It's difficult to suggest because there's a lot of coins in the market and we don't know the future of it. Only bitcoin is a good choice but if you want an altcoin then, please do your own research or choose from the top coins from coinmarketcap. If you have knowledge in trading I can suggest to use that capital to trade good coins. $200 is enough to start in trading. Honestly, I just start trading with $10 and maybe just a lucky because after a couple of weeks that $10 became $200 and more. Just need knowledge, patience and choose the good coin to trade.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advice: 1 BTC on: October 13, 2021, 04:12:34 PM
This might be more personal as well confidential to we all, but if you're to share your thoughts or advice one on how to spend he's/her 1btc what would that be ?
Estate management ?
More in Bitcoin ?
Investment in the Stock market ?
Maybe your ideas might or will be helpful.

I think if you have 1btc you already have a plan on how to spend or to invest it. No need to listen to others advice because sometimes it doesn't have a good result if you did it against your will. You are already an investor so, investing is your first move but if you are materialistic I think you will spend your one 1btc on buying things that you want. Everything and every decision is depends on you who owned that bitcoin. If I have such amount of bitcoin, i will divided it into savings, investment either in bitcoin or real state then the small portion is for spending.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Movies. on: October 12, 2021, 03:43:08 PM
The awareness of bitcoin is widely emphasized. At first it was only known as a scam project but it quickly spread on various social media and now we see it in a movie. It's really amazing. I think it’s hard but there is a possibility that bitcoin will become a currency maybe not in the whole world but in some countries I think.

250  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shrew Team did not pay the Signature participants on: September 05, 2021, 02:43:33 PM
Is there any rules on this forum to prevent this kind of fraudulent works because I see that most projects just use bitcointalk to promote their project through the hunters and then the hunters will not be paid at the end of the campaign even if their project is successful.
You've been a member of bitcointalk since 2017; don't you realize that Theymos doesn't give a shit whether bounty hunters get scammed or not?  Have you not seen all of the scam accusation threads dealing with situations exactly like the one you described?  It's not like this is the first (or even 10th) time this has happened.

As to the second part of your statement above, all I have to say is "duh".  That's exactly what a lot of projects do, and it's the biggest problem with bounties that promise to pay their participants in worthless tokens once all the spamming is done.  They have no obligation to do so, even if you think they do.  They can't be forced to pay and they'll easily just skip right past that part once the project fails or if the project owners get greedy.

My advice to you is to smarten up and stop spamming for these lousy projects that only want to make money for themselves.  They don't care one whit about you or any bounty hunters.  Bounty hunters are just a desperate pool of suckers they use as a marketing tool.

Sorry if I'm not fond of reading especially in this thread. I only read and get information through the complaints of most bounty hunters in the telegram group. And this is my first time posting this kind of issues about the fraudulent project.

Previously, I also encountered the same issue with the Amepay project but fortunately after a long period of waiting and complaints by hunters, they provide payments to all participants.
However, thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it.
251  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shrew Team did not pay the Signature participants on: September 03, 2021, 03:44:46 PM
Actually what happened here in this project? Who distributing the bounty payments? The project owners or the Bounty Manager? If the project owner suddenly stopped it then this thread should be created first by the bounty manager.

This happened previously many tines. Project pay the bounty hunters payment to bounty manager to distribute among the hunters. But Manager steel the money and try to remove/lock all the bounty related groups or thread.

We are waiting to get an answer from the bounty manager or the project team member.

The project ran successfully. Arfy from shrew project is the one who distribute the payment. Unfortunately, we can't reach the BM, TheAndy500. I don't know where he is now and why he didn't inform or leave a message to his hunters.
252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Shrew Team did not pay the Signature participants on: September 03, 2021, 02:44:14 PM
Scams are not moderated as said above. Forum administration has nothing to do in such case. But forum members can take step and neg tag their account if exists in the forum but that's not going to help you as they already have scammed.
This type of bounty campaigns are increasing these days. Most of the campaigns deceive the hunters by not paying the promised rewards or not paying at all. This has been a trend now. I don’t know why reputed/respected campaign managers don't go straight forward of escrowing the rewards and necessary fee. That way, it would be possible to prevent such deception/scam.
It's better if hunters would stop the campaign which don’t escrow the reward but there will be a lot of hunters who will not bother about that.

Because there is no such policy here in the forum that can prevent fraudulent projects, I think what you have said is the only best way to avoid getting scammed by those kinds of projects that didn't pay the hunters. It will help the hunters if all the bounty manager only accept the project to promote using bitcointalk if they escrew the rewards.
253  Economy / Scam Accusations / Shrew Team did not pay the Signature participants on: September 03, 2021, 01:43:50 PM
SHREW bounty campaign that was managed by TheAndy500 did not pay the signature participants. Before that happened Arfy of Shrew decreased the total bounty allocation from 30M shrew tokens to 2.5M after the end of the campaign. Many hunters did not accept the changes but Arfy start distributing tokens to twitter participants and suddenly he stop distributing and also deleted the bounty telegram group. Unfortunately I am late to make an screenshot regarding the conversation in telegram group. He did not pay the signature participants.

I made this post just to ask if this kind of circumstances is considered as scamming? Is there any rules on this forum to prevent this kind of fraudulent works because I see that most projects just use bitcointalk to promote their project through the hunters and then the hunters will not be paid at the end of the campaign even if their project is successful. If so, many projects will get used to just using hunters and then not being paid. Pity the hunters despite their efforts to participate in the beautiful project but in the end it is still a scam. It’s okay if the project isn’t successful because you can understand why they didn’t pay those who promoted their project.

This project did not pay the hunters.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 23, 2021, 06:33:34 PM
More surprising because even my 4 year old child also knows the trading site and knows how to spot buying and selling which is proof that it is not hard to teach others about cryptocurrency as long as they believe on us.
For some reason I was feeling emotional and connected to you until I read the last part of it. How in the world a 4-year-old knows what is spot buying and selling when even some adults are not sure about it Grin.

Whether you earn or not I don't really care. If your family is supporting you, that's really nice. But the child aged 4 years cannot simply know how to trade, no ifs and buts.

I hope you are not trolling and meant something else, maybe your kid knows what your are doing since 4 years makes more sense.

You know, nowadays it’s not just adults who are exposed to computers and online activities. So it is also inevitable that they will be exposed to crypto because they see that in us. And sometimes they are even smarter than us. Believe it or not, my 4 year old child is good at using a computer so he can easily understand what I do about trading.  Maybe you just misunderstand what I mean about what I said that "my child  knows how to spot buying and selling".  Maybe he doesn't know much yet, but he knows where to buy and sell and what the value is, is a big deal for me.
256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 23, 2021, 06:14:01 PM
I can't believe that a 4 year old knows how to trade? Your kid has been exposed in crypto that early and I think that's a good thing that you've opened up that already. Well, it's going to be a long way for your kid to go with the actual trading but being familiarized already what does his father do, well, that's making yourself proud. And since your whole family gets into trading already, you can know have a competition on who's going to earn a lot during the week or bi-weekly or in the entire month.

Maybe it's not possible for a children to know and understand trading because they are exposed on it like my child. Every day my son saw what I was doing and sometimes I asked what the current price was, whether it was still low or high and my son told me what he saw on my pc which was always open to the trading platform . And then, it's especially fun to trade like you said as if there is competition within your household as to who will earn the most.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2021, 06:01:29 PM
Because they believe in fud than to believe in bitcoin and try to invest on it. They think bitcoin is a scam despite of the fact that bitcoin has a growing community. Others think bitcoin is a gambling and they are afraid to of losses.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency is not the same price, you can buy low and sell high profit? on: August 23, 2021, 04:26:32 PM
Bitcoin now reached $50k value and those who bought at $29k during the dip, already have huge profit. Holding bitcoin for a long period of time is really profitable. Buy low and sell high will give you profit but most others have huge losses due to fear, impatience and lack of knowledge about it . Investing in crypto is risky, so be careful.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell BTC and take profit in usdc or usd on exchange. which is safe? on: August 22, 2021, 11:19:04 PM
Lets say i want to sell btc today and reenter after months.

Should i keep money in usdc/dai/paxg(coldstorage) or shoud i split the funds   on bitstamp, kraken, ftx in USD.

I do not want to keep funds in my bank account.

need expert opinion.

exchange hack is more risker than usdc invalidating my coins or reserves problem?

Why not stay in bitcoin and just hold for long term, it's just like you put your money in a bank but with bitcoin you have a chance to earn huge profit after holding it for long term. But of course it is still risky but if you believe and trust in bitcoin, nothing to worry about. If you really want to just put your money in your wallet then, try to exchange your bitcoin into other stable coins and just store in your offline wallet and not on exchange just for safety of your funds.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask won't accept password... is it safe to reset it? on: August 22, 2021, 11:12:54 PM
My Metamask won't accept my password and I know it is correct.  I have the seed phrase and the password I created to sign up for the metamask.  If I reset my wallet, is there a chance I would lose my coins? I can't have that.  Also, is the "password" different than the seed phrase,,, becaue it accepted this password before.. I didn't change it.

Before I could just reload the phone and it would ask for the face id and I would be good to go.... please advise if you know what to do or have been through this before.

thank you

No problem as long as you have your wallet private key. You can open metamask using new password but you may get different address when you open it. After you open your metamask with your new password you can simple import account your private key to recover your old wallet address with your funds.
