241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy added another $15 million bitcoin to assets on: April 06, 2021, 07:23:50 PM
I wonder whether MicroStrategy will stop buying Bitcoin soon. After some time, they've bought another huge amount of Bitcoin worth $15m. They will be one of the companies which will benefit from the next big increase in BTC price a great deal surely.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: April 03, 2021, 09:38:30 AM
Why do people care who Satoshi Nakamoto is/was? It's like wondering the name of the person that created the wheel. Sure, I suppose I would be curious about the name of the inventor of the wheel, if nothing else to raise a beer to them from time to time, but ultimately the wheel is the important part of the story.

Actually you've made a point. Who knows how many things there are out there that we still don't know the inventors of them. But people are still getting curious about it anyway. For example, we know who invented Ethereum or many other well-known cryptocurrencies. But we have no idea about Bitcoin. Actually we have some ideas but we can't still prove anything.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risks of instituations holding bitcoin on: April 03, 2021, 09:33:09 AM
The risks for the individuals are also valid for the institutions also. But there is no doubt that these companies are already aware of it and their aim is to make investments for a long-term. We can name them as "whales" also. Their impact on the market is really too big. We are talking about million-dollar and even billion-dollar investments in the end.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: April 03, 2021, 09:27:53 AM
If someone dies and doesn't share the private information of his/her wallet(s) with anyone, there is no way to get access to your coins forever. Because you can't recover it like recovering your password for an email of you. The only way you have for getting access to your coins is keeping the private info of the wallet(s) in a safe place and not forgetting about it.
245  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 03, 2021, 09:22:13 AM
I think it is very likely for us to see Bitcoin price reaching at least $100k before the end of this year. Because so many beneficial things for the price continue happening and as long as we see this kind of news, it will be inevitable for the price to go to the moon.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A fake app in apple app stole his life savings in bitcoin on: April 03, 2021, 09:17:09 AM
This man blames Apple for this incident but I don't think that Apple has the full responsibility here. You have $600k worth Bitcoin and you are not being careful about where you keep them. And this causes you to be under a big threat of getting swindled.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: March 31, 2021, 09:16:25 PM
For me the best one is BNB now. It seems like it has the highest potential among other altcoins. BNB has come a long way in a very short period and reached an ATH at $342. But this is only the start I think. My expectation from it is really big in this year. We may see the price reaching even 1k dollars before the end of this year or a value between $500-600 in the worst case.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa to embrace crypto by launching a pilot program on crypto payments on: March 31, 2021, 09:07:04 PM
It is really great seeing some companies changing their minds about Bitcoin. VISA is one of them which was totally against Bitcoin before. In time, I believe the number of institutions, companies etc. that embrace BTC will increase and it will help Bitcoin adoption grow also.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Amazon and the collapse of all Banks on: March 31, 2021, 08:58:18 PM
I don't know if all banks really collapse in the future after digital currencies take fiat money's place. But I would really like to see Amazon and Apple also falling in love with Bitcoin.  Grin  And who knows, we may see it happening in time as big companies are investing into it one by one.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: sharply diverged expectations for bitcoin on: March 31, 2021, 08:51:28 PM
It has made me really surprised to see that only 17 percent of all people think that Bitcoin price will be worth above $50k in this year. Because I think the price could even reach
$100k in this year as the bull run still goes on. And I'm sure that there are many people who are thinking like that on the forum.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: March 31, 2021, 08:43:59 PM
If You Buy Today and You dont touch it before one year but You also dont read the news of btc bans and fuds Smiley  then You Will be wealthy.
As history have showed us its not a trading or ta or other Type of trading.
The most wealthy with btc are those who dont give s about corrections they just hodle one year or longer.

Most of the newbie  traders even Will be rich of crypto If they will not read news about crypto or btc at all at least one year.

One year is really a short period for Bitcoin to multiply its price too much I think. Generally, HODLing for a few years helps people make a great deal of profit. And there is no need to follow the price movements every day as the goal is not keeping your money on Bitcoin for a short term.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB still undervalue on: March 30, 2021, 05:21:37 PM
As per my view , Still bnb more potential.  now go around 270-300$ per coin. Today announced a new IEO.  I think In the end of April 600$ per coin is more viable.

- BSC chain is more popular
- BSC pad is more popular
-IDO is more popular

So what you all think about this?

I couldn't agree more. BNB can be one of the altcoins which have the biggest potential in the market. Its ATH value is $342.88 but it is really nothing for BNB.

I think we could even see the price reaching $1000 until the end of this year. Even if we don't see it like that, I believe that it will reach a new ATH between $500-600 at least.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: March 30, 2021, 05:16:07 PM
Actually you can googling easily to search a news related to anything you want. You can read in this article [1] it's possible XRP is crashes due to faces lawsuit or sue from US. Anyway XRP aren't worth to take top 4 places in entire cryptocurrencies, since it's not decentralized as cryptocurrencies should be.

[1] https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2020/12/22/ripple-says-it-faces-sec-lawsuit-as-cryptocurrency-xrp-drops

Even if they wouldn't be facing a lawsuit, actually I have a very little expectation from XRP's price to increase at a great rate in the future. It went up to an awesome level 3 years ago and reached $3.84 which was really great. But now, XRP is not showing the same performance even though there is a boom in the market.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 30, 2021, 05:08:19 PM
This is one of the best news for Bitcoin. Tesla is like it is making a big effort for Bitcoin price to reach greater levels.  Grin  Firstly, they have bought huge amount of BTC (which is valued  $1.5 billion) and now they started accepting Bitcoin on their car sales. And they won't even convert it to fiat which shows they are intending to increase their investment.
Well, because in the first place --Tesla company is holding a lot of bitcoin, they want this because they understand that bitcoin is good for storing value and Elon Musk is a clever business that when it comes to money, he invest whatever he wants. That is included in his tweet that the bitcoin they receive will not be converted into fiat. So this is expecting that there could be a hype of bitcoin for the next few months. However, but for me, I will not buy bitcoin to pay Tesla immediately, I will store it and wait for the price to double and get Tesla for free.

It is the smart thing to do I think. Because it is very likely for the price to reach at least 100k dollars in this year. While there is a huge anticipation about it, why would I also buy a Tesla now?
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the official uses of bitcoin other then trading? on: March 30, 2021, 05:03:10 PM
Will it only be used for investing/speculation as long as its price is this unstable?

Of course not. As you may know, Bitcoin is not only used for investment etc. . You can also use it to buy things in different places which support Bitcoin payment method. And you can even buy a car now as Tesla made an announcement about it some time ago.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which plan seems better? on: March 30, 2021, 04:57:29 PM
Plan 1: Buy BTC and ETH only. Spend $50 and buy 50% BTC and 50% ETH. No schedule and buy on dips.

Plan 2: Buy BTC, ETH, and LTC. Weekly, regardless of the current cost of each coin. Alternate between coins so 1 week buy 50/50 BTC and ETH. Next week buy 100% LTC. Next week buys 50/50 again.

HODL both obviously.

Also at what point is a hardware wallet required?

I think Plan 2 seems better. I always recommend investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum. But you could give a chance for Litecoin also as its price is also giving good signals for the future I think.

But if I were you, I would prefer BNB rather than Litecoin. It has a bigger potential I think and I wouldn't be surprised if its price reaches 1k in this year.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: March 29, 2021, 06:15:10 PM
I'm sure everybody have checked and saw the big drop -18.8% in 24 hours to be exact and keeps going down, we don't know if it will go further and so are the other top coins in the market, are you in panic, nervous that the market is bleeding like this, or do you accept this as part of the market movement, what kind of trader are you

As long as I invest in a well-known cryptocurrency, I never panic. Because I am more of a HODLer rather than a short-term investor. But if I invest in a new and very risky altcoin, most probably I'll panic when I see a big drop in the price.  Grin
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: March 29, 2021, 06:08:26 PM
I don't know why so many people are recommending Ethereum. A lot of users are angry with Ethereum right now, because of the extremely high fees. I have seen bounty hunters paying as much $20 to move their tokens. And every time the developers are giving the same old excuse that ETH 2.0 is going to resolve this issue. I guess the Ethereum competitors are now in a good position and coins such as Polkadot and Cardano will be able to challenge Ethereum in the near future. If I have to chose three altcoins for investment, then my choice would be like this - Binance Coin, Polkadot & Cardano.

Ethereum has the highest fees now as I know. I saw a list and it was like this:

1. Ethereum
2. Uniswap
3. Bitcoin

I'm really fed up with the high gas fees. Whenever I want to make a transaction with ETH, there is a huge fee in front of me.

I think one of the best altcoins to invest in is BNB. The price has multiplied itself a great deal in a very short time. I think BNB has a bright future and we could even see the price at 1k dollars in this year, who knows.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Large percentage of Americans still don't understand how bitcoin works on: March 29, 2021, 05:59:36 PM
Larg mainstreet institutional adoption and low mainstreet adoption, a survey was conducted in America recently on how bitcoin adoption and usage have grown in America  owing to the fact that in recent time so many institutions have adopted and invested in bitcoin within and outside the country, but findings have shown that most of Americans have either not hard of bitcoin or used it.  This have spiked so much reactions and I thought I could bring the discussion here to know your stand on this survey result.

There are so many people around the world who don't know much about Bitcoin but use it anyway. They have just heard about it like they can make a good profit by investing in it and they are taking their chances. I wish more people would know how it works and what the difference with fiat is.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you like Volatility? Debate on: March 29, 2021, 05:44:48 PM
As I think that Bitcoin has nothing to do with being used as the currency of countries, I like the volatility in Bitcoin. Because I'm also a HODLer and really love making a good profit in the long run. Of course, there is always a risk for the price to come down to zero. So, we need to follow the price movements time to time for preparing ourselves better.
