Is there a cgwatcher equivalent for CudaMiner? (I noticed CudaMiner doesn't have --api-allow).

I'd like something to detect when CudaMiner goes into this nuttiness and reboot it:

My uploads haven't any virus, don't worry.

Is there a CPU miner for dwarfpool?

Has anyone had any success with the windows wallet for maxcoin? I cant seem to get it to connect. Anyone have a conf file they could share? I searched and tried their configs, but no luck..

cudaminer --algo=keccak -o http://localhost:8108 -O name:pass -d 1 -L 128 -l K1024x32 -i 0 -C 2 -H 2

This config is giving me about 170000 khash on my Asus 780 gtx cards. But I'm getting about 67% hash success with 1gh.

I just use:

245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 08, 2014, 02:04:00 AM
Are the hashrates from CudaMiner and arOpenCLMAX directly comparable?

On the same NVidia hardware I get 30 on CudaMiner and 15 on arOpenCLMax.

Is it really double on Cuda, or is this a display thing?

I don't have a way to compare against the pools either because the CudaMiner pool (1GH) and arOpenCLMax pool (ypool) are different and you can't cross-connect.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 08, 2014, 01:58:25 AM
Mmmm hope someone can point me in the right direction..

Still getting the "Unable to query CUDA driver version! Is an nVidia driver installed?"

Installed the latest nvidia driver, and then the cuda toolkit..

Still getting this... Sad

Anyone with an idea?

Thx in advance!

Are you by any chance connecting over Remote Desktop to that machine? If so, you'll see that error. Use TeamViewer instead. (You can install TeamViewer over Remote Desktop, then connect with TeamViewer and disconnect Remote Desktop).

How long until confirmed? If you help me ill give you 50 max.

Hover with your mouse over the little clock, it will tell you something like:
"Mined balance will be available when it matures in x blocks"

How do you know that solo mining is working right? do you just keep hashing with no indications until is displays block found?

Yes. When it doesn't display anything you know for sure it's either hashing away, or doing something else.

Results of running 3 instances for the same card.

I got that even on 1 card, 1 instance. Increase the value you pass to "L".
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 07, 2014, 11:46:54 PM
Stupid question...

If I put in another NVidia card without a monitor, do I need a dummy plug - or were those only needed for ATI cards? (Running on Windows, but can do Linux as well).
252  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast BabyJet users thread on: February 07, 2014, 10:49:02 PM
I believe you are not on new firmware? I strongly advise people wait till they have new firmware as the new cgminer code is optimised around it and vice versa.

Thanks! I'm back on 3.11 now and my recovery time is back to around 5 seconds.

Has the new Firmware been pushed out to anyone yet? (Apart from you?)

I'm not running on the RPI right now, so I won't get the Firmware update automatically.

Maxcoin value dropping like a rock on coins-e, I am sad to see this happen Sad
So much people are selling them for way too low...

ive been saying this for hours
I bet it's all those pesky AMD users  Angry

You can mine MaxCoin on AMD now? Since when?
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast BabyJet users thread on: February 07, 2014, 10:06:46 PM
Meh I screwed something up on 3.12.1 that would make cgminer just go idle eventually, so I've posted a hotfix 3.12.2 release.

Thanks! I still get an insanely long reset time though (minutes instead of seconds), while cgminer 3.12.2 is contemplating pages of these messages:

 [2014-02-07 14:04:02] HFB 0 attempted reset got err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS
 [2014-02-07 14:04:02] HFB 0 HFGetHeader usb read err:(-1) LIBUSB_ERROR_IO

This is the usage difference over 7 hours:

255  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast BabyJet users thread on: February 07, 2014, 09:43:53 PM
only good exp. with windows and 3.12 since days and 3.12.1 since today as well (way better than with the RPi). Many thanks to you too.

I can't say whether it's actually working better. It's different. Instead of getting the familiar:

[2014-02-04 09:45:09] HFA 0 NOTICE: ######################### WARNING: Work Watchdog Reboot Imminent!
 [2014-02-04 09:45:11] HFA 0 HFGetHeader usb read err:(-99) LIBUSB_ERROR_OTHER

 [2014-02-04 09:45:17] Hotplug: Hashfast added HFA 1

Which we've all come to know and love, I now get pages and pages of the following spew on reset:

attempted reset got err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS
HFGetHeader usb read err:(-1) LIBUSB_ERROR_IO
attempted reset got err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS
HFGetHeader usb read err:(-1) LIBUSB_ERROR_IO
attempted reset got err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS
HFGetHeader usb read err:(-1) LIBUSB_ERROR_IO
attempted reset got err:(0) LIBUSB_SUCCESS
...

I don't think it resets any less frequently, and because of the long spew, cgwatcher takes a little longer to reset it in fact.

There's probably no way around the firmware watchdog, it's just the cgminer now behaves differently

I take that back. It's definitely worse. Because of the very long recovery time after failure, my cgminer 3.12 Hashrate is significantly worse than 3.11. I used to get 410ghs - over the last 12 hours I averaged 350gh/s, and it's all because of very long and DEEP low spikes (down to 45gh/s) in Eligius. On 3.11, the deepest a spike went down was around 290gh/s.

I only get (Booooo) on every pool i try. And every time. Is there something wrong with my commandline?

cudaminer -H 0 -i 1 -l F8x16 -C 1 -m 1 -o stratum+tcp://maxcoinpool.com:4000 -O Loginname.Worker:Workerpass (ofc i use my proper logininfo here)

Yes. You need --algo=keccak, otherwise you're submitting scrypt solutions to that pool.

Very common issues... I wonder how much scrypt work all these pools are getting Smiley

The 1ghs DDOS seems to be selectively enforced.

I have 2 machines in 2 different homes, 1 of them absolutely refuses to connect, and the other one if very happily mining along at 80mhs.
258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone else not being able to make a trade on coins-e? on: February 07, 2014, 02:22:23 PM
I look at the market depth for several coins and click on the offers available and click the Buy button. The order goes into the Queued status and just stays there for hours even though the market depth stays around that price. Also, recent trades listed can be widely different than market depth.

Am I doing something wrong?

Same for me. I sometimes manage to bump it, by cancelling & resubmitting a bunch of time. But otherwise it just stays there.

Ok, very important!

what is the command for the wallet to send coins to an address?  Grin

maxcoind sendtoaddress mLdGE94ZHcBB37DXnEqJ39F4BU1XVJKbi6   amount

You can change the address in there if you want. Or not Smiley.

Every now and again (once an hour or so) my CudaMiner on one of my machines goes off into la-la-land and starts spewing these lines, and won't stop until I restart it:

[2014-02-07 04:39:46] GPU #0: cudaError 2 (out of memory) calling 'cudaStreamSynchronize(context_streams[0][thr_id])' (C:/Users/Administration/Documents/Visual Studio 2010/Projects/cudaminer-2014-02-06/salsa_kernel.cu line 223)

[2014-02-07 04:39:46] GPU #0: cudaError 2 (out of memory) calling 'cudaStreamSynchronize(context_streams[1][thr_id])' (C:/Users/Administration/Documents/Visual Studio 2010/Projects/cudaminer-2014-02-06/salsa_kernel.cu line 224)

My settings are:
-i 0 -H 2 -C 0 -m 1 -L 64 -l K512x16

on a:
GeForce GTX 650

Is there a setting I should change so it doesn't run out of memory?
