241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What is Nuls? on: January 26, 2018, 01:02:35 PM
Sorry for the late notice, but I just realized Asch (Ticker = XAS) did an airdrop for one of their DApps called CCTime, and if you had NULS you were eligible for the airdrop.  Unfortunately the snapshot for the last round just happened (that's when I found out NULS was added to the eligibility pool because it wasn't for the first round).

The good news is that there will be more rounds, so as a NULS hodler be on the look out for the CCTime airdrop.  The directions for the next airdrop should update at the following link when the next round is announced:

https://cctime.org/faq

and now that I know NULS hodlers will get CCTime airdrop, I'll be sure to up post the info prior to the next snapshot.  For the record, NULS hodlers will get ~55 million CCtime airdrop tokens for the latest airdrop round.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] GoNetwork ICO - Winner of ETHWaterloo - World's Largest ETH Hackathon! on: January 23, 2018, 06:13:10 AM
@wancho or any other gonetwork bounty manager, PLEASE answer the following:

For the one week posting period, what is the start time and day of the week, and what is the last day and time of the week that posts can be accepted.  I really would like to join this bounty program and this is the last thing I'm looking to understand before joining.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High Performance Blockchain HBP - any solid information? on: January 20, 2018, 06:03:59 PM
You did notfind much information on this because it is a pump and dump coin, I suspect it is coming into discussion now because some people are plaaning to pump it and need to generate public attention for it, if people are going to buy into their dump

That's just a silly generalization.  It may apply in some cases, but approaching every single coin like that just because you can't find information initially will lead to people missing out on ground floor prices.  There are plenty of examples of QUALITY Asian crypto currencies that weren't heavily marketed to western world initially that turned out to be huge projects.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SingularityNET: Decentralizing the Future of AI on: January 20, 2018, 02:43:34 AM
A lil late to this party, but the fact this is doing 7+ million volume on ED right now (almost half the total exchange volume) shows you the kinda hype behind this project.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: January 19, 2018, 02:17:50 PM
Is Wanchain really going to be mineable (POW)?

Where did you see this?  Whitepaper only mentions PoS for ordinary transactions and a few other types of nodes that can be run (vouchers, storemen, and validators).

My fault, for some reason the picture didn't load when I came to the thread last time.

Anyway, I tend not to always fully believe these infographics that cryptocurrency people pass around.  Nothing against Lamden, or any of the other cryptos shown on that infographic, but the infographics are often created by biased followers of the crypto that they are touting.  They often don't do full research on all the cryptos they are comparing, and they likely took most of this info from a previous infographic they saw without actually checking what's right and what's wrong...This wouldn't be the first time I've seen an infographic comparing big cryptos that's wrong either.

To this date, I haven't heard any mention of POW usage with Wanchain, so if that was a thing, I'd love to see someone confirm that with a valid source (based out of the Wanchain camp)...If one thing in that infographic is wrong, it puts everything else in it in question too.

plus, those transactions per second are misleading to me because some of those platforms have sidechains and they can scale much better than the TPS' on that infographic implies.

248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RPX] Red Pulse Token – Next Generation Intelligence and Content Ecosystem on: January 13, 2018, 07:17:55 PM
RPX is the NEO ICO flagship, it should be on Binance soon

one thing about the whole Binance RPX, while it's def possible, I don't think it's something we should be banking on in the short term.  There's a backstory to this; when RPX came out I believe it was supposed to be listed on Binance initially.  Long story short, somewhere along the line Red Pulse and Binance hit a snag and they decided to go their separate ways.  While I don't know exactly what happened, this situation is well documented in the RPX slack.

Now I personally haven't been in the RPX slack in over a week, but last time I checked, the sentiment I got was that Red Pulse was willing to let by gones be by gones if Binance did the same, but outside of that, RPX team isn't pressed to get a Binance listing.  I'm sure if you go to slack and do a search on Binance you'll get some hits regarding this.  Multiple team members have commented on this in RPX slack.

You gotta commend RPX though at the same time regardless of Binance.  A few weeks back they mentioned getting listed on 2-9 exchanges in a short period of time and I'd say that they've successfully executed that.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: January 13, 2018, 06:37:10 PM
Does anyone know if it's still okay to have some WTC stored on My Ether Wallet as an ERC 20?  I know when QTUM for example switched chains, you couldn't have it on MEW.  Did WTC do this yet? I haven't kept up with details lately - I want to make sure I get my WTC wherever it has to be for when this happens.  I had put a small amount on MEW when I was nervous w keeping money on the exchanges ....

Also a masternode is 2500 right?

Will WTC have some partnership with IOTA?

 Cheesy

Mainnet is not here yet -- it's okay to have your WTC stored as erc20 in MEW

Masternode is 5k

Don't know where you heard partnership with IOTA, but they aren't the only project associated with IoT.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Diamond on: January 13, 2018, 03:39:05 PM
Binance good resistence between 200% - 300%  but people have fear i think because dont look price at Kucoin

I don't know man, I would assume many people that have Binance accounts also have Kucoin accounts.  The UI/UX experience (while better at Binance) is very similar across both sites.  I'll say virtually everyone I know that trades cryptos has an account on both sites.

They should've never opened registrations back up at Binance, the BCD/BTC trading pair page is a freakin blackhole *sighs*
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Diamond on: January 13, 2018, 10:31:23 AM
What happen BCD?  Up Kucoin 400% and  Binance 89%

Yeah, anyone have any idea what's going on?  It's hit as high as 1000%+ on Kucoin and it's over 120% at Binance, so something has to be going on.  Google isn't turning up results, so I'm assuming something is going on in the Asian community as they seem to support this coin the most.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: January 12, 2018, 07:35:41 PM
For those looking to speculate on when and where Wanchain tokens will hit, check out the following post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/wanchain/comments/7osh8c/preparing_for_wanchain_hitting_exchanges_a_summary/

in addition, follow Wanchain twitter as well as the official Wanchain telegram channels as news will probably disperse there first before it hits BCT.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RPX] Red Pulse Token – Next Generation Intelligence and Content Ecosystem on: January 12, 2018, 07:18:12 PM
I believe in the price of $ 3 by the end of the month. Do you think this is real?

That is HIGHLY unlikely, thats roughly a 1.8 billion marketcap valuation.  If you consider where red pulse is in their software development life cycle that price doesn't even make sense right now...It'll get there sometime in 2018 for sure, but end of this month? Not happening.

RPX has had a GREAT run the past 2-3 weeks regardless

1.6 billion, not 1.8! Mayby 2 $ by the end of the month?)) More likely)

2 dollar by the end of month seems a bit much, but it is not unlikely. I would not be supprised if it reached thoose numbers, but also i would not be supprised if it did not.
It all depends on the general marked aswell, RPX is doing above average as it is a good token and will probably continiue to do so Smiley

2 dollars by end of the month would be great, but let's not be too rash. We're well on our way though Smiley

its sounds unrealistic. This is now an own blockchain, this is only token. And they still dont have working platform.

Yeah maybe it was too optimistic, but we were in a good trend. Hard to know when that stop Smiley i sold alle unfortunately as i had to sell something and rpx was the one i ende up with selling. But i do fear i will regret it as it is a promising project. I will buy in again if i get something else to sell.

Yeah, I think even still $2 is pretty aggressive.  That said, this is a pretty big project and RPX continues to be listed on top 10 exchanges.  If it were to list on Binance as well, maybe there is a scenario when it overpumps and hits $2 before end of Jan, but I even doubt that.

Personally I think the $2 price will more likely coincide when staking goes live on the platform.  That'll really increase the incentive for people cop up.

255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What is Nuls? on: January 11, 2018, 10:41:31 PM
According to telegram, the NULS yellow paper is complete and being translated to English so that should be coming soon.  If they knock the yellow paper out of the park this thing could really pump even more.  It doesn't seem like there is a platform out that's built the way NULS is and the yellow paper will prove this.

Could someone post a link as soon as the translated Yellowpaper is out.
Thanks

I'll def follow up with it simply because there isn't much of a informational presence in the thread aside from revelacaogr (who's post are great).

The yellow paper should def get people intrigued if they execute it well.  Most of the people that understand this project know that it has high upside is significantly undervalued.

I don't even think people fully understand that Nuls will have masternodes...Yeah the yellow paper should put this on the map a little bit more.

257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: January 08, 2018, 05:17:20 PM
News yesterday is that Visa will be blocking cards like Tenx because they are not actually connected and no deals signed. It will also file a case against the cards supplier.

Ducktales unless you show proof.  Other cards aren't being shut down, via Visa Europe in the following link: https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2018/01/05/spending-bitcoin-with-a-debit-card-just-got-a-lot-harder/

"We can confirm that WaveCrest’s Visa membership is being terminated due to continued non-compliance with our operating rules. All of WaveCrest’s Visa card programmes will be closed as a result.

Visa has other approved card programmes that use fiat funds converted from cryptocurrency in a number of jurisdictions. The termination of WaveCrest’s Visa membership does not affect these other products.

Visa is committed to the security of its ecosystem and compliance with Visa’s operating rules is critical for ensuring the safety and integrity of the Visa payment system. Our issuers’ card programmes must comply with our membership regulations, as well as all applicable laws."
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Genaro Network ICO on: January 08, 2018, 05:04:01 PM
Bumping this as this seems to be the only English thread for GNX.  Really suprised this currency doesn't have an active thread on here.  It's being touted as blockchain 3.0 and machine that is backing it is pretty big/connected.  Really just trying to get more conversation started.

260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Regalcoin – X11 Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 08, 2018, 03:51:10 PM
Yeah...while I understand the allure of HYIPs its just too much shady activity that goes on with them.  As easy as this thing goes up, it could tank super fast behind some shady stuff.  HYIPs are way too volatile and just carry an unnecessary level of risk.  You could easily outperform a HYIP investing in legit currencies.

I came to this thread watching the huge Regalcoin dump and I just wanted to see if there was any life because the price is virtually rock bottom.  Well, I've come to conclusion that there is some life, but this life form is deranged.  I wouldn't even advocate a person to invest .5% of their entire port into this.  That's not to say this thing couldn't go up, because this game is unpredictable and even the dumbest of coins can be pumped.

Who knows, I could be way off and this thing could pump back to $80...The business model is soo flawed though, and it's so easy to win in other legit currencies with patience.  I just can't justify this coin (let alone any HYIP TBH).
