161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: February 21, 2018, 03:09:14 AM
Exactly, is the only thing missing. We have a lot of cards projects, a lot of wallets, great ideas for a new world but there is a last frontier we have to go trough, from the digital to the real world. That line is, in this case, Pundi, it could be any other but it is, that is the important. We will have the credit cards 2.0, the new visa and MasterCard together and made for the citizen. So glad to be here

What's ironic to me is the trouble all these other debit card based cryptos are having such as TenX, ChangeBank, etc after WaveCrest lost their visa account (Wavecrest was the visa based card solution that those cryptos were going to use), but Pundi X swoops in with no problem and will have a card issued to hundreds of thousands of users quick fast.

TenX was supposed to be a juggernaut in the crypto debit card space (they still may end up as that in the long run), and Pundi essentially has stepped into the game and is QUICKLY cementing itself as a STRONG crypto debit card competitor.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obsidian ODN - CryptoCurrency & Secure Anonymous Messaging on: February 19, 2018, 06:09:14 PM
getting crushed today... any reason why.... not like we have a lack of liquidity... liquidity is good for a small cap of our size

seems like the lead dev resigned. obviously insiders knew about this for some days and sold off. that is why the volume tripled and the price slowly started bleeding, despite "good news", reddit shilling and their "applications" to other exchanges. this is as scammy as it can possibly get. what a shame.
Blackstone told pete hes not happy with how hes running shit as CEO. He stepped down as lead developer though he will remain on the core development team. That being said hes not leaving ODN. Seems to be more an internal management issue. Nothing we really have to worry about

I think this is a great chance to get cheap coins from dump trucks Wink

Well how long could we realistically expect this guy to continue to help in a situation he doesn't like?  I mean something don't seem right here, what if this guy gets offered a position somewhere else that's decent.  If he's frustrated he'll probably bolt...

I'm not saying the guy's not replaceable, or that this is an ODN death sentence.  But I hesitate to trust the idea of a person staying if they say they don't like management's vision, and they're stepping down to take a smaller role.  Usually those kind of people inevitably find new jobs fairly quickly.  I mean I don't see how the situation can get any better for blackstone without someone else getting the boot.  Now he has to humble himself in smaller role, and he's still going to likely be taking directives from the same management he dislikes...and it seems like a stretch to think management will be cool with working independently for the forseeable future.

But what do I know...
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BOTTOS AI- Decentralized AI Economy on: February 19, 2018, 04:30:32 AM
a little late to post this, but Bottos has officially announced partnership with HPB, details shown here:

https://medium.com/@bottos_ai/bottos-and-hpb-whats-in-store-dd849ee97e5e

Hard not to like what Bottos is doing in the AI space.  Not knocking competitors such as Singularity and DBC, but it looks like Bottos should beat those AI platforms to market.

Does the PXS need to be in the same wallet as the one used in the ICO to receive the end of the month PXS bonus? If I transfer the PXS to a different my ether wallet, will the PXS be received in the new wallet?

Yes,you can use other wallet to hold and receive Pundi X tokens. Also u can move tokens free during month, just hold on cimpitable wallet during the time of monthly snapshot.

Just to add on, specific details for the upcoming airdrop in March shown here:

https://medium.com/pundix/march-airdrop-for-all-pxs-token-holders-675f70b50e0a

Should be a piece of cake, doesn't get much sweeter than this when it comes to stakes/airdrops  Grin
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][$TAU TOKEN SALE]🔶LAMDEN🔶Blockchain Interoperability & Rapid Development on: February 19, 2018, 03:23:05 AM
does that mean you need to have 100K token to have a masternode?

Yes

That's a pretty steep price, even with the significantly reduced rates -- for a retail investor, that is.

Right, I don't think the price was designed with retail investor in mind though.  Stu mentioned in the chat they pretty much want investors that are in it for the long haul, and not the investor that could hop in and out. I think the idea was the commercial investor.

Does it work in a similar way to Lisk, were you have to have a large amount of coins to forge/stake but you can earn rewards by holding coins and voting for delegates from you wallet?

I highly doubt this, because for the Lisk delegate the amount of coins they hodl doesn't really effect whether they can run a node or not.  Each Lisk is a vote so sure it helps if they own alot themselves, but it's not mandatory if you can get alot of other people to vote for you in one way shape or form.

With this, you either have the 100k shares or you don't, and if you don't have it you won't be running a masternode.

Aside from that, I'm relatively new to Lamden.  There's no mention of delagates or DPOS in the whitepaper, but Stu did mention delegates/witnesses once while talking about masternodes so I'm not sure if delegates/witnesses are a thing or not.

i'm new to lamden as well. It does say on their info graphic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2338211.0 that lamden is Dpos which is the same as Lisk and Ark so not sure why you need the 100k shares to get rewards.

I'm stupid...don't know how I missed that because I've seen that infographic several times.

I could def be wrong, but I think DPOS + BFT could represent a delegate system + a masternode system.  The masternodes may just handle different tasks in the ecosystem than the delegates would.  This is def something that needs to be clarified though.  I'll try to check telegram or reddit for this and report back when I get a chance.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: February 19, 2018, 03:16:56 AM
i been waiting to buy this coin for awhile. It does suck that the few i bought of delta can't be swapped. I hear the CEO bullshit ass excuse about keeping it fair, but if that was the intention then why did they utilize ETH token in the first place. Especially knowing the ease of transferring the token to a decentralized exchange.  They could have created a placeholder token on their platform that couldn't be accessed till the new wanchain coin is available and swapped.

No disrespect, but it was pretty much stated from the jump that EDelta tokens were no good.  Even if a placehodler token is made, there will always be some work around that scammers will try to make to sell the rights to that and people will lose their shirts that way.  Eth tokens weren't the problem, its the mentality of scammers and swindlers that is the problem, and as long as they can think up elaborate schemes people will get got.  It just so happens it was via EDelta this time.

No disrespect but i invested in Tezo and Exscudo and they all have placeholders and i don't see the scam involved if you buy someone's acct and they sign over the email associated to that acct to you. You will not lose the Tezo and Exscudo that you bought.

However, utilizing ETH token and blaming individuals that decide to sell their token early on a decentralized exchange( which they facilitated by using ETH token) and then blaming the buyer who might not have known about any prior statement is utter bullshit. And why the fuck wasn't the token locked if that was the issue.

Also, am not sure how selling a token you paid for during ICO on a decentralized exchange ( b/c it was made available for you to sell) makes you a scammer/swindler.

The scenario you mentioned (buy someone else's account) is one in which you will likely have people that will get defrauded and they will blame the team for setting up their token sale in a way in which they felt compelled to buy someone's account (thus losing their money).

Like if it's not one thing it's something else...I mean it's tuff, this game is ls like the wild wild west at times.  I had a friend send me the EDelta Wanchain link around the time it hit Edelta like "Wanchain's up!!" because he didn't know any better, but minutes later he's like "actually don't do that those are bad tokens" lol.  They couldve locked up the tokens; I sympathize with you for your loss there.

All that said, if was in the ICO and they tell me you CAN NOT sell the tokens until mainnet or they are potentially void, I would not sell them.  Everyone is so thirsty for a gain that people can't be patient, and while I'm much easier on the buyers here, I'm completely fine with blaming the sellers, because every single one of them had enough info to know better.  Generally speaking, selling a token you paid for doesn't make you a scammer/swindler, but in THIS SCENARIO, that person was selling wolf tickets and they knew it, so they're a certified swindler to me

I just don't like the idea that it's cryptocurrency's job to protect people from doing the obviously stupid thing.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: February 19, 2018, 02:38:19 AM
Where is best to store QSP for these airdrops?   MEW?

And just incase you didn't know, you're going to need to register below to get said airdrops:

https://caring.quantstamp.com/

You missed the deadline for the first airdrop, and the portal is down for a week, read more here:

https://medium.com/quantstamp/announcing-proof-of-caring-submission-deadline-4217a0eee8b1

Who will receive at least some coins for the airdrop from Quantstamp please write in this thread. It would be interesting to know your Proof-of-Caring index as well.

Oh no...

I was looking for what I need to do to be a part of proof of care and I find out that I'm too late!!! #$%&

Anyone knows when new registers at https://caring.quantstamp.com/ will be available?

Is this proof of caring worth it? Any reports from the Airdrop? How many tokens per QSP? And in $$ value?

Well if you're from the US (and plan on stating that) you haven't missed anything yet  Cheesy.

As far as it worth it, that's something you have to figure out.  It's not some flat equation based on how many tokens you own, QSP uses an algorithm that also evaluates other factors like how long you've hodl'd and how you've contributed to the community.

You should remember that QSP's value is not just airdrops though, in the future you'll be able to run a node that supports the network to get additional QSP as well.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICX tokens on My Ether Wallet are blocked? Can anyone please advice me on this? on: February 19, 2018, 02:12:12 AM
Hello ICON Team, (community),

I have been trying for weeks to access a human being on the ICON team to help me; but to no avail. I'm desperate at this point to get help. I purchased 352+ ICX tokens on Binance for almost $2,500, after my 2,500 tokens bought during the iCO were blocked due to missing the KYC deadline, (I was out of the country). Anyway, regardless of that massive loss, I went ahead and bought more ICX tokens which I forwarded to MY ETHER WALLET. However, it looks like all the tokens are now blocked including the ones I bought off the exchange. I can't seem to get them off My Ether Wallet, nor can I get anyone on the Icon Team to respond... or help. I am afraid of being ripped off again. Can ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME? It's been impossible to get any assistance of any sort. I even reached out to some team members on Linked In. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, please advice me on what I need to do to rectify this. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I need my Ether wallet unblocked, so the tokens I legitimately bought off the exchange, can be moved out of that wallet and/or sent back to the exchange for trading. Please email me back if need be: gracenotes20@yahoo.com or just advice me on this forum. I need this fixed ASAP. Thanks guys.

Lynda.

What do you mean they're blocked? When you added ICX as custom token in MyEtherWallet you can't see your ICX shares?

You'll probably get better help if you post a link that has some screenshots of your problems.  Posting wallet addresses is a touch subject on the forum so be careful about displaying your address and transaction IDs.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Seele is exploring the new peak of blockchain 4.0! on: February 19, 2018, 02:06:05 AM
 Cheesy  yeah yeah yeah

I think the interpretation of scam just gets thrown around way too loosely in crypto.  Just because you don't have the live product doesn't make you a scam, especially when you openly advertise that you don't have the product and that  you are in the early stages of development.

GoNetwork is FAR from a scam

CONFIDO was a scam...Bitconnect, Credence coin, etc. ponzi schemes -- those were scams.

The idea that everything is a scam until it isn't is just silly, and by that logic everything in this industry was once a 'scam'.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s on: February 17, 2018, 10:43:41 PM
Lots of people are shilling this coin to me on telegram but they don't even have an official ANN thread, this is really strange. Is the OP one of the admin of this project or he is just an investor ?
But yeah overall it looks like a good project with lots of potential, they also have partnerships with many different projects. Let's see how high it will go up. I am going to keep my eyes on this coin hehe.

Yep, I'm also waiting for the official thread too. I'm thinking about opening one....

Not having an official ANN thread isn't really a huge deal, every crypto don't utilize BCT as a communication medium.  OMG is an example of another big coin that doesn't have an official ANN and there are plenty more examples.

has anyone withdraw ZIL from huobi? I tried to withdraw, but the fee was 100 ZIL.. it's outrageous

Shocked wowsers....well that sucks....still not as bad as btc though.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] FUSION | Cryptofinance protocol for the Internet of Values on: February 17, 2018, 10:36:14 PM
Is there a date when main net will be online? As I understand it from your website this is going to be POW/POS? Can you explain more how POW is going to work since its a erc20 token?

Hi thanks for the Questions - mainnet will be launched in the 2nd QTR of this year (between May and June).

The current FSN token issued in the token sale is an erc20 token. When FUSION's mainnet is in the production environment, FSN holders will transfer their ERC20 token to native tokens on the FUSION chain. PoW and PoS will both be employed since the consensus of FUSION is the Hierarchical Hybrid Consensus Mechanism. PoS is used to set a limited permission for smart contract calculations to ensure the safety of the smart contracts and PoW is use to select packaging node. The FUSION protocol uses node grouping to realize parallel computing of smart contracts. Every group can randomly select a node to compete for bookkeeping. Since there is competition for bookkeeping not all the nodes and the numbers can be controlled by adjusting grouping numbers, the environmental protection and the safety of FUSION can be well balanced.

Speaking of mainnet, when it is release, will POS/POW systems be fully implemented for token hodlers to start receiving rewards?  Seems like a new trend in crypto is starting where people say "mainnet is live" but the staking/mining aspects aren't always live at the same time and that sucks.

Hey, so today is the whitelist opening of Seele and I have to share my DD because that's the biggest rip-off I have seen for a long time.
The CEOs arent blockchain experts If you search for the CEOs and others in their universities homepage such as Dr. Bi Wei you can see that he was a Glaucoma researcher there. How crazy is this? If you do it with the other members too you'll see that they have been phd students there but that's it. Nothing blockchain related at all. People from that groups at those universities have been asked if they know them. They do and they say they have absolutly nothing to do with blockchain!
The Whitepaper
It's a joke. Some gibberish phrasing to fool people. The best part is the end with the references: 4 refs 3 of them to Wikipedia
The long time pinned message regarding chainted.com and their famous investor Peter Du.
I have abolutly no idea that guy even exists. For a good time this pined message on Telegram and on the chainted homepage claimed he invested in Iota, Bat and Zilliqa too. I have been in the Zilliqa presale and translated their whitepaper so I have good connections to Zilliqa and asked them about Peter Du and Chainted. I have email proof, where they say they never heard of him and will force him to remove this. They removed then the whole website and on the Seele homepage Zilliqa isnt mentioned anymore. They now added Raiblocks to that list.
Guys. This is all fake!
What I think what Seele is: They found out that westeners fall for big Chinese projects. They took their phd and university reputation to fake their career. They are the faces of this moneygrabbing project. They added the big universities for credibility and faked an entire investor in Peter Du. They faked a homepage ChainTED. They got called out and deleted this already.
This is much more proof here we collected in github:

https://github.com/ico-check/ico-check/issues/58

Be aware guys! Don't let them scam you!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCKAQVv_Ivw (( from 5.22>))

Good job, anything coming up with 1Million TPS claims is most likely to be a scam lol. Credits ico is another example but they expose themselves in whitepaper itself due to poor english skills.

Well EOS has always claimed they will reach 1 million TPS, you think they're a scam?  They were throwing scam around left and right for EOS when their ICO first started as well.  Poor English skills in a Whitepaper (while extremely disappointing) doesn't always signify a scam either.

Asian based projects often get their whitepapers translated to English by regular people that step up and offer to help, but those people aren't always fully vetted that do the translations.  When they don't have someone else translate it, they likely have an Asian person that has English as their second (or third language) drawing up the whitepaper, so poor English skills I can give a pass.

I'm not claiming Seele is legit (I haven't read the reddit yet, and I know revelacaog to be a quality poster), but if I listened to the scam claims that have been thrown around in the past, the large majority of the current crypto market would be a scam.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: February 17, 2018, 09:35:48 PM
The price difference of ICON and NEO is 27x

Do you think ICON's team, project and potential is 27x worse than NEO?

This is a very easy 5x coin before summer.

If you're trying to make price predictions based on comparisons you're going about this the wrong way.  You don't want to compare token price, you want to compare marketcaps.  Neo is a ~4x marketcap valuation of ICX so the gap between them is MUCH smaller than the prices indicate.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [RPX] Red Pulse Token – Next Generation Intelligence and Content Ecosystem on: February 17, 2018, 09:22:12 PM
Just noticed, that although the volume on both exchanges is not that big compared to the run 2 weeks ago (1.7m), Huobi actually now has a bigger volume than kucoin....

the volume is indeed getting bigger. But actually I hope it will not just pump and dump. Healthy growth is everything to sustain a decent price in the future

Well, it got at an ATL last week...i was waiting for a dip to buy...buying in lower than 3x ICO should have been my chance but instead I missed and skipped it...to busy with other stuff.

Do we guys expect another dip before end of Chinese New Year?

ATL last week?  ATL was back when it first hit Kucoin when it flirted with ICO and stayed in the tank for weeks.  That's not to say the last time it tanked (week or two ago) though, because it was.

We probably won't get back to the real ATL unless BTC hits $5k, and even if that happens it's still not a given we would hit ATL now that it's on binance.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: February 17, 2018, 09:13:38 PM
What price do youu think, this token could reach by the end of December if everything goes as predicted in the roadmap ?

The minimum price bracket for 2018 for me will be $ 5 for 1 token, as much as you can calculate it about $ 20 for 1 token! These are my personal beliefs and there is no call to buy!

So between 3 billion and 12 billion $ mkt cap. Arent you aiming a bit high?

Well considering the low side of that market cap is only 15x the current price and the high side is well under 100x, those price estimates aren't really that crazy.  I mean it isn't logical to assume something like that obviously  Cheesy, but 15x current cap for a coin of this quality this year is the type of prediction that seems fairly conservative in the crypto market if we're going off history.

What is the main difference between what Bluzelle is doing and what other 'decentralised storage' type of coins are doing. For example, I understand Sia coin, which has been around for a while, is attempting to do something similar to your swarm storage concept.

You can find a good high level of the difference between file storage based coins like Sia vs Database management coins here:

https://crushcrypto.com/analysis-of-bluzelle/

some other points you'll see also made is the speed in which bluzelle accesses the data vs the opps, as well as allowing for DB specific APIs.

May somebody here help me finding an answer on my question?

Is it save to buy BLZ on IDEX?

After the information by WanChain that those WAN that you can buy on ED will not be able to swap to "the Wan-Chain" later this year, I wonder if there is any problem like this (or similar) with the BLZ one may buy on IDEX?

https://idex.market/eth/blz Linked BLZ-contract: https://etherscan.io/address/0x5732046a883704404f284ce41ffadd5b007fd668

note: I know itīs available on Binance, too, but the question is meant for IDEX only.

Nobody yet bought on Idex?

The Wanchain token distribution method is not the norm for the industry, and that's not something you need to worry about with BLZ so you're good to go with BLZ on IDEX.
