221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INT Chain - Internet Node Token (big partnerships, mainnet by end of January) on: January 31, 2018, 05:35:13 AM
INT may potentially be listed on Ethfinex  Shocked:

https://www.ethfinex.com/token_listings/30/social_category/179/INT

This juggernaut is still a pretty illiquid coin all things consider.  With Mainnet releasing it days and more exchanges likely to come sooner than later, the time to accumulate is NOW.

I've never used EthFinex, how is it?

TBH, I haven't either.  After the flash crash debacle, and considering the tether controversy that they're currently embroiled in, I've decided to play other exchanges.  That's alot easier to do with quality exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, Huobi...soon to be IDEX (IMO).

That said, I do recognize that others like Bitfinex/Ethfinex and it's still in the top 10 exchange convo based on volume, so I personally just view the liquidity bump value of this potential listing.

Another airdrop in which US token hodlers will not be able to participate.  This kinda thing is going to get real old real fast if it continues.  US investors that bought thinking they would get airdropped token rewards can't be happy right now  Angry.

They need to stay compliant. Getting into legal trouble would be the worst thing, that could happen to the project.
We still don't know for sure how valuable the airdrops will be, so let's see if they're relevant at all, when INK/INSTAR airdrops arrive.

I mean I get that, and from a business standpoint I understand it...But I just find it ironic that USA was allowed to participate in the token sale but can't receive one of the huge selling points of the token (the airdrop).

I mean, they could come out with a third airdrop that finally allows American people, but if the 3rd airdrop doesn't allow US residents THEN its becoming a trend and that's not good.

1-3% of any token supply is relevant if you ask me.  Obviously the proof of caring algorithm will factor in, but if you think of the amount of airdrops gifting that percentage to QSP hodlers that really starts to add up.  Founder already said in future they will be auditing several ICOs per month once they get into the swing of things
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High Performance Blockchain HBP - any solid information? on: January 31, 2018, 04:08:03 AM

So much for needing to go to Bibox for this...Well, those that wait for it to hit Kucoin will likely still be paying a higher price around the 5th, especially if market comes out of the tank.  Prior to this pull back people were starting to build the new exchange listing into the price.  I don't think it would be surprising at all if this hits $10 before it gets on Kucoin.  FOMO TIME  Cheesy.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What is Nuls? on: January 31, 2018, 04:02:38 AM
Just for the record for those that aren't aware, apparently there's a new NULS (official) ANN thread run by a NULS community manager:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2831034.msg29213012#msg29213012

@OP, any conflicts here you may want to take up with the user on that thread
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: January 30, 2018, 08:28:37 PM
I see the 15$ by end of Jan and then drop to 10-12$ until march and then or march it gets to 20$

That's looking really unlikely now that the market as a whole is getting crushed.  Pretty sure its technically the 31st in Korea now, and if something was to get announced in this current market climate, I highly doubt it moves the needle.  I feel like mainnet has already been built into the price.  This will likely need some exchange listings to really boost it further IMO.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: January 30, 2018, 06:53:46 AM
I have given up the hope for SONM this is the only coin that i have invested given me no profit.

It all depends when you have bought
its already way way up the ICO price and it gives me good profit
No it's not. When SONM reached or even same as their ICO price? ICO was 5k sat and it was only some days higher than 5k sat then falling down until now below than ICO price (i'm still HODL my SONM though btw)

In term of fiat  this is still profitable for all early investors but if you will go with satoshi than it will create big confusion. What price was eth and btc at the time of pre-ICO and ICO you should compare this into fiat.

It's all subjective man, it did give you good profit, but the goal generally speaking for most investors is to accumulate the most BTC/ETH possible.  There's no point in selling precious BTC/ETH for something if it's not going to outgrow it for a long period of time and the mainnet is even out.  If the passive income was in effect that would be a different story because you're building a position regardless of whether you beat ICO price.

I like SONM, but if you could've just held my BTC/ETH from ICO, made more money, then bought SONM closer to mainnet at less than ICO BTC/ETH price, who wouldn't do that.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NULS - Blockchain 3.0 on: January 30, 2018, 03:08:13 AM
@OP, are you apart of the NULS team or do you represent them as a community manager?  There was already an existing NULS BCT thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2253487.0

If you represent the team and this is supposed to the official thread you should go to the above link and mention which one is the official thread.

That said, the other thread was created by an account named NULS, so I'm really interested as to which one should be the primary thread.

Hello there. Is this your contract address?    0x8377ee6d3545bc6ff1425ee3015dc648b149c7b2

nah that's not it, but you can view the correct contract address here: https://etherscan.io/token/0x9041fe5b3fdea0f5e4afdc17e75180738d877a01

a little bit annoying because when you just try to search keywords from prochain on etherscan you won't get any hits.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: High Performance Blockchain HBP - any solid information? on: January 29, 2018, 06:56:01 PM
Looks promising! Unfortunately they already went x13 in stats and are only buyable on some shady foreign exchanges, but this project is definitely worth keeping an eye on. Thanks!

Bibox isn't a bad exchange, the UI/UX is similar to Kucoin/Binance.  While I can admit a few friends of mines did mention delays in ETH deposits, everything is fine with their deposits and I haven't had a single problem personally with Bibox.

If you really like HPB and you want to wait for another liquid exchange, you're potentially going to pay double as liquidity on quality exchanges almost always causes price pumps.  I'm on A LOT of exchanges, and Bibox is far from the worst one I've been on.

If this helped you change your mind, use your fellow crypto enthusiasts referral link   Grin :  https://www.bibox.com/login/register?id=11074760&lang=en

Delays are quite frequent on ETH deposits indeed, it seems they need to manually validate all transactions on Bibox (I had to wait 24 hours once for an ETH deposit...now I use BTC where there is more liquidity anyways). I've heard you can talk to the admin on telegram though and have your ETH transaction validated more quickly. I've also heard I think at some point that it is risky to send from one exchange to another so please use MEW.

By the way, the HPB team announced last Saturday at a conference they will be listed at a top exchange today so let's hold and see Smiley

Yeah, the friends that have had issues stated to me they had the 24 hour eth deposit issue as well but everything's been validated and they're good to go.

Personally, I try to send the cheapest currencies possible to circumvent withdrawal fees.  That said I rarely send BTC unless I feel like I absolutely have to, and ETH is starting to get expensive on fees as well.  So in the Bibox case I've sent LTC there multiple times and each time it arrived, ready to use, within minutes.  Obviously you have to factor in how much you are sending because swapping LTC to BTC/ETH thereafter could be higher than the original ETH fee if you're sending alot.

This is the first time I've heard mention of a big exchange listing coming in short order.  Looking forward to that, but honestly I wouldnt mind if it stayed low for a while to give people like us more time accumulate.

The more support we show the better.  This would be a much needed liquidity boost for this sleeping beauty.

Can someone tell me when the Proof of Caring token distribution will take place?

I bought Quantst tokens long before the cut-off date on December 1 and registered for the Proof of Caring with a rating of 2.0, but I did not receive anything either.

Today an overview of the airdrop schedule has been posted on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Quantstamp/comments/7sdvh4/quantstamp_audit_partners_airdrop_schedule/
Signing up for the Ink Protocol airdrop is not possible anymore though.

Thank you for clarifying. Now the dates for the distribution of tokens are more understandable. On reddit they have more operative and complete information than on all other channels of communication with the community.

Another airdrop in which US token hodlers will not be able to participate.  This kinda thing is going to get real old real fast if it continues.  US investors that bought thinking they would get airdropped token rewards can't be happy right now  Angry.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo on: January 29, 2018, 12:49:49 AM
Initially this coin took quantum leaps, but I don't its been too slow in the past 6 months. Hardly one announcement. At one point this coin was definitely a $100 coin projected-to-be and Now even I'm skeptical

Omise go is wallet base app to transfer money. The team is from Asia, the developer team is solid and Vitalik Buterin is the advisor in this project.

And this coin will still be a $100+ coin in the future for sure, I def see that happening this year.

I don't know where you're are looking for announcements, but there are PLENTY of links to the actions the team is taking on behalf of the project on the last 2-3 pages alone.  There is still PLENTY of hype on reddit.

Don't let the lack of price action fool you on this one man.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BOTTOS AI- Decentralized AI Economy on: January 29, 2018, 12:12:35 AM
What is bottos’ current market cap Huh

Mcap is approximately $0.21 x 300 M = $60 million.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bottos/
Where did you find the 300 M coin supply listed at?

Edit:  On Gate.io and CMC it shows coin supply of 1,000,000,000 meaning market cap at $.236 is at $236,200,000 currently.  Would like to find where this figure is listed but do not see it in the white paper.

From page 17 of the whitepaper:

"4.5.2 BTO allocation plan
 12% - The operating team
 37% - Community/Foundation
36% - Public Crowd-funding
 15% - Private placement"

That puts the circulating supply at 360 million
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INT Chain - Internet Node Token (big partnerships, mainnet by end of January) on: January 27, 2018, 02:19:48 AM
Thanks, Turbulence.

I care about token allocation because i like to be conversant with the scope of the dump potential.

Few things about dumps:

-So far they haven't even happened like that for ICOs, its really an overblown thing across these forums thus far.  ICOs that dump are in the extreme minority.

-You may not be big on the product, but the teams behind them are.  Where you think it's a good price to leave, it's likely not even close to the prices they have in mind even if they were to dump.

-The circulating supply doesn't have to be small for a dump to LARGELY affect the price.  Every smart crypto reserves n amount of tokens for whatever reason.  Hypothetical scenario:  If the circulating supply was 70% of the total supply, if the team dumped 10% of the total token supply all at once that would have a HUGE impact on the price.  If we likened that to a 10% BTC dump (just of whats circulating) that would be a kin to someone selling $16 billion usd worth at once.  We've seen flash crashes already with amounts not even in the hundreds of millions being dumped in the short term.  Don't think you are safe from a dump just because the percentage of a circulating supply is higher with a different coin.  Even a 1% dump could have a huge impact, ESPECIALLY with an illiquid coin.

Don't forget, there are whales that purchased from the circulating supply that can dump and do big price manipulation as well and TBH, that happens alot more often then the teams dumping.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TGE] OriginTrail (TRACE) - First Purpose-Built Protocol for Supply Chains on: January 26, 2018, 05:52:41 PM
I gotta admit when I saw the name pop up on recently added on coinmarketcap I automatically thought of OregonTrail and thought this can't be serious  Cheesy.

But shout to @Febo (as well as a few other mentions) for touting this in the best ICO thread, as it spurred me to do some more digging on this project.

I love supply chain coins and I love the idea of this being a protocol that is blockchain agnostic for supply chain.  Here's a nice write up from a credible crypto Redditor, full disclosure, I believe he was apart of the ambassador program:

239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s on: January 26, 2018, 03:17:33 PM
I thought zilliqa would be better than cardano and neo, was planning investing on it. A bit dissapointed thar is an erc20. A serious blockchain should be release in an original mainet. Not erc20 nor migrations. Which good platform did a migration???

Qtum is the most recent example, with plenty of high quality other examples to follow this year such as OMG, EOS (migration already in affect), WTC, VEN, NULS, HPB, GNX, INT...the list goes on and on.

Let's be real, the ICO space is mostly full of projects that don't have an MVP.  I'm not condoning it, that's just how the space is when it comes to ICOs.  Just because a token swap needs to take place doesn't mean the product won't be legit.

You basically have to choose whether you want to get in cheaper and have faith, a significantly higher price when mainnet arrives.  But people get caught up in mainnets as if they GUARANTEE success of the platform and mainnet is really just the beginning and it doesn't guarantee long term success.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: January 26, 2018, 02:34:58 PM
Hello,
does anyone know WHEN we can expect it to be listed on some exchange? Many says first exchange will be EtherDelta...do you know when? Feb? Thank you.

PLEASE be careful messing around with ED for Wancoins initially  Cheesy

The best/fastest way to find out when the listing will occur will be by checking in on the official Wanchain twitter, or checking telegram.  Only problem with telegram is that you got a lot of jokesters trying to trick people into doing stupid stuff so you need to be careful there as well.

Earliest rumors mention binance and Kucoin, I def wouldn't bet against Kucoin considering their history of listing new coins arguably faster than any other centralized exchange
