Since I really would like to have a second A2Mini I didn't ask for a refund yet. They promised that they will let me know today whether it will arrive early next week or not. When it is not shipped by mid next week I will ask for a refund.

Well I have now received my refund Well than you are probably very happy! Did they pay you the right amount including the 2.5%?

GAWMiners is also a joke. They promise you rose gardens but they can't deliver. Actually they are a bunch of amateurs with respect to crypto mining.

The London Bridge Mining Centre is a joke It does seem to me though that these devices undergo a lot of quality testing before they actually get to the customer. In China they are hooked up mining until they ship, then they arrive at the distributor and they get hooked up again. And finally when you get it and turn it on they get another five or ten minutes more mining whilst you are working it out. No wonder the things turn up with scratches all over them. It is not the quality you would expect when you pay four grand for something. Lots of scratches and dirty fingers all over. The Chinese still have to learn these things, when you buy something from Japan or Taiwan it is all blinking and shiny.

No London Bridge mining centre is first stop What you mean mining centre ? I got this message from Interlink. this morning that pack was at London Bridge and just few minutes finally I got an update . Parcel Status. Great news, we have your parcel and it's on its way to you17 Jun 2014 17:38 London Bridge We have your parcel and it's on its way to you. But why take so long an express Delivery a week from London to Madrid and expensive. Your estimated delivery date is Wednesday 25 June 2014. When they say they have your parcel it is really on it's way to you. First stop is Birmingham where it will stay for a couple of days. But who knows, maybe you are lucky.

Yes I would rather the BTC were in my wallet rather than theirs. Later if they can prove conclusively they are in stock in UK I may consider reordering
Yes, but they have to take the exchange rate into account and also the 2.5% exchange fee they charged us. I'll give them a few more days, when I don't have conclusive info by Monday I will try to get my money back.

I have asked for refund
Yes, I told them that if they can't ship by next week, I want to get a full refund in dollars or euros. It is getting very annoying, the more I think about it the angrier and madder I get.

The issue is that MinerEU promise one thing, then something comes up, and then something else comes up. They barely reply to emails, and when they do they don't give satisfactory answers. The website says items are in stock in the UK, when they aren't. They promise mining compensation but it doesn't arrive. etc. etc.
This time, they have answered me quickly. I asked them for explanations and possible reimbursement. And They say yes, but you feel that there are delays with the new "A2MINI". And if I want I can request a refund with no problems. Now I do? Hopefully they don't want to refund you with the same amount of BTC as you sent them. When there is no good news the beginning of next week I will go for a refund and get the A2Mini somewhere else. Their mining to compensate us is also bogus, this afternoon I told them that the miner is dead, they promised to restart it, and now many hours later it is still dead. They probably sold it to somebody.

It's all fun until you need to dispute a lost shipping with the carrier. He'll pay you $9, too, then.
Yes, true. That's why I ordered my A2Mini's from MinerEU. But now it seems it will be difficult getting them either.

Have you got a reliable supplier? Or are they straight from Zeus?
Straight. Paid like 135 euro last time in VAT for a $7700 order. I think they put on $500 on the package, didn't bother to look. When they ship from China they put 'computer heat sink' on the customs label with some low value. It is all a gamble. On my Fury's was written 'heat sink with fan' $9,- a piece. LOL

The fake names annoy me too. Instead of Nancy and Bill, why can't they just go by their real names which are probably Xiaochang and Jing.
Yes, very likely they are.
|
|
|
Take alone the fact that they communicate with these fake names. That is not very trustworthy.

I have asked how to get a refund
Yes I'm thinking about getting a refund as well, I payed $4026.20 including shipping and the 2.5% exchange fee they charge. I certainly want the whole amount back on my account when they are not shipping my A2Mini early next week. They can send it with a SEPA transfer, should not be to difficult from within the EU. What is happening? You guys orderded A2 Mini but it isnt shipping? I have had no trouble at all with the miners i orderded from MinerEu, in fact i orderded some more just now. I ordered my second A2Mini 11 days ago, and now there seems to be another delay of at least 8 days. When you order directly from China and let it ship by DHL you will have it in 2 or 3 days. Only drawback is that you have to pay VAT, that makes it too expensive.

You can download it from Zeus or from Hashra.
There also seems to be something called starminer, but I never tried that one.
|
|
|
Do you have firmware image for the Zeus 13-15MH/s miner?
There is no real firmware, only a PI image with cgminer.

The miner that was working for me at Waffle Pool seems to be dead. I'm very unhappy about the whole situation.

Looks dodgy to me. See if MinerEU will respond to you.
Yes it does look dodgy I think one or two chips are not working. I could try to lower the temperature but i'm almost sure it's not going to solve anything. Also the track record for MinerEU to respond to emails is very bad right now. But i need to solve this What do you think of Minera?
It looks very good to be honest. Many thanks for the tip Btw, is there a way to check if all the 40 chips on each blade are working? When you run cpu-miner in a console window, it shows the shares, and from which blade and chip number they came. Watching this you can easily check if there is a chip not working. Maybe you can send the output from cpu-miner to a log file when running under minera, I don't know if this works.

The hash rate seems way to low. I've had a g-blade in the past and it was always hoovering between 5.2 and 5.6 Mh/s. This was with cpu-miner from sandor111, auto tuning enabled, default clock 850 MHz. I don't remember the number of hardware errors exactly, but it was low, somewhere in the region of 1.5% or less.
Strange thing is that both of your blades are under performing. Maybe the problem is not in the g-blade but somewhere else.
