For the first time I'm actually doing my best to meet the requirements in this sig program!

Just a quick question: What happens if someone ranks up mid program. If I have 20 posts and become a full member, are the rest of my posts calculated at that rank? Or do I have to stick with member rates until the end of the month?

If you rank up mid campaign, you get paid for your new rank the entire month.  Just remember to change your sig to match your new rank.

How long does it take you to rank up? Are there any page that tells you how much activity / posts you need?

Here is a link to how it works: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.msg2513302#msg2513302

As long as you are a regular poster, your activity # goes up 14 points every 2 weeks.

At least thats how I think it works, it can get a little confusing.

Whipped out the SNES emulator over the weekend.  Got the fishing bug for some reason.  remembered an old personal favorite.  Super Black Bass

Never did finish it the first time around.  Didn't have a lot of money back then to buy games, so I was stuck renting for the most part.  Hopefully finish it this time around.  Not really as good as I remember it though, usually how it works.

Anyone have any really good advice when it comes to finding a kick ass fishing game?

Out of interest I went back and looked at the block history on BitMinter ... and how things have changed ...

The oldest entry is the 3rd July 2011 and took 14 days 3hrs and 10 mins! (When Bitminter started). Difficulty was 1,379,192 and the pool speed registered at 0.0 Thps ... naturally DrHaribo made the block that day.

Three blocks were solved on 4th July 2012 (none on the third) and the pool speed was 0.2 Thps.

3rd July 2013 shows 6 blocks solved and the pool speed was 5.9 Thps and difficulty was 21,335,329.

3rd July 2014 ... 3 years on from the start... (only 12 months later than the last stats) - 'hello! and welcome to ASIC miners' - 1 block solved at a difficulty of 16,818,461,371.

As I write we are on a 1 Day 15 hour block ... and counting ... but there have been a few good days recently ... and the pool is running at 1367 Thps.

What will 3rd July 2015 show? We can't even speculate.

I did the same thing a while back and was pretty amazed at how far Bitminter and mining in general has advanced. Looking at even the past 6 months or so is surprising, mining has advanced a great deal so far this year.  It's only going to ramp up again when the next round of even more powerful miners hit the market.

The pool speed has doubled in just the past 3 months.   Shocked

I had a good laughter reading this thread..  Cheesy is this guy on drugs and being serious or just trolling?

I don't post very much from Friday to Sunday around here, don't even surf the forum.  Checking the posts in Dank's threads are always entertaining, LOL!

Please stop feeding the troll, He will only get bigger and more annoying.  Just ignore him.

While I agree, new users or people who don't know Dank's track record need to know about how much of a scammer he is. People need to know not to donate or lend this loser anything.
246  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: July 02, 2014, 11:23:25 PM
Funny tv shows I like to watch

Hardcore Pawn
Lizard Lick
South Beach Tow
Pawn Stars
Bar Rescue

Other shows I like to watch are

Anthony Bourdain
Deadliest catch
Dog and Beth on the hunt
American restoration
ARt Mann presents

I watch a few of the top ones for a good laugh from time to time.  They have to be the fakest shows on TV though.  Not Bar rescue so much, but I've read stories where the do real cheap work and glorify the bar issues.

South Beach Tow has to be the worse of the bunch.  Ever see Operation Repo?  Now that show was hilarious!
247  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your iq according to "free, accurate iq"? on: July 02, 2014, 10:46:48 PM
80% of people have IQs between 80 and 120.

I believe you qualify to apply for Mensa if you have an IQ above 130.  Slow is 70 or below.

bluefirecorp, with your IQ of 160 you are smarter than 99.997% of the population.  Smiley
http://www.iqcomparisonsite.com/iqtable.aspx

I hate to put this out here but I'm not some dumb ass, my IQ is over 150 and I intend on becoming a very wealthy man in the next decade of my life and stopping at nothing.  Feel free to join me or be left behind.

You moving in the right direction donkey? Aren't you squatting in an abandoned house waiting for your iPhone battery to die?

 Grin

LOL! That's hilarious.  As a genius, you'd think he would be running a company by now, or at least, have rent money. As for that iPhone battery, I hear he charges it by holding on to the battery while staring into the sun.

All of these IQ tests are a crock. I've done a couple in the past and can tell they were full of b.s.

I'd give this one a try but it's red flagging my virus protection.

Damn! That's some tough work.  But hey, whatever it takes to quit.

Came across this video the other day, if I was a smoker of cigarettes, I'd quit cold turkey. Good representation of what it's doing to the lungs.

Those are the 2014 world press freedom rankings and the US isn't even in the top 19.

I'm really surprised to see Canada that high up. Not sure if I buy those ratings considering it says we jumped up 2 spots. The press and news media here is becoming more and more biased by the day.
252  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 02, 2014, 12:48:56 AM
I heard news about him upping it by up to 50%, what happened to that?

Competition shut down so there was no need to up the rates, that and the price of bitcoin went up.  With some viable competition again, Stunna will likely raise rates again.

Any Deadliest Catch watchers in here? Now entering it's 10th season. Nice to see Jake Harris back with the Cornelia Marie, hopefully he'll have a great season after everything him and his brother have gone through.  Shame his brother hasn't shook all his demons yet.

I've watched it since pretty much the beginning so it's getting a little dull. Can only watch so many seasons before all shows pretty much get that way.

Definitely a show I'd recommend watching.

Yes I also have no enrollment post because Stunna already clear this now no need of this and all will be enroll through new system

Neither do I. As you say, Stunna has stated it is not required.  Even if some issue arises from no enrollment post some how.  I'm sure Stunna will figure out a way to make it right.  I'm sure it won't be an issue though.

If anything, people would just have to look back through their posts to get an accurate post count for payment.
255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: July 01, 2014, 10:23:35 PM
According to PETA, cats can thrive on a vegetarian diet: http://www.peta.org/about-peta/faq/is-it-safe-to-feed-my-dog-or-cat-a-vegetarian-diet/

It's pretty silly that they try to justify such a diet for strict carnivores likes cats.

LOL! I've read a few reports where cats have died and/or become very sick from vegetarian diets.  For what it's worth, PETA should not be trusted about anything.   They are the biggest hypocrites out there.  They tell us that it's wrong to kill animals, but yet they do it themselves.

I I try not to post with just a pic, but damn! This is funny:

Reminds me of the cat and dog diary entries that went around a few years ago.

Pretty sure everyone can appreciate this for a laugh!

Where is the part about the 10k scratches to your face and arms when the cats senses you're going for a toilet dump?  Grin

Pro tip: That's why you wrap them in a towel first. LOL!

Anyone ever read this?

Day 983 of My Captivity

My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.

The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates my capabilities. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow, but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released, and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird must be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now ...

What are you all doing?  Besides making money?  Does you existence actually better this planet for those around you?

It sure does, at least for the neighbors dog, let me explain. They don't like to mow their lawn for some reason, probably too lazy, it gets very long after a while until the owners of the house give them shit and they mow.  He's just a hound type of dog.

Small dog, long lawn, you do the math. I don't think you'd like to lift your leg in that either. There is this tree right close to my property line that he eyeballed for the longest time. I now mow an extra path on their side so he can reach that tree.

What have you done exactly?
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the US press really that free? on: July 01, 2014, 06:54:55 AM
2-3 peoples control news programs in USA

In USA you have monopol on news, and truth

Yep, and it's only going to get worse.  I know this is a little old, but it paints a pretty good picture of where we are headed.

Same thing with all the banks, Department stores, etc.

Once all our choices are taken away, I fear what our future will look like.
260  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the US press really that free? on: July 01, 2014, 04:56:00 AM
I look at it this way.  It's more free than some, but not free enough.  It's no different in Canada, mainstream media has it's own agenda that's driven by whomever owns it.  Media is no longer non biased.

I try to tune out from it as much as possible.  Far too much fear mongering on a daily basis.  You'd think it was a war zone outside by the way the media reports sometimes. Much easier to push through a militarized police force when the public lives in fear of violence that is actually declining.
