I think one thing that the original developer got right is the min stake age. When PoS is at such a high rate, there should also be a high minimum stage age, so that it would take committment (not day trading) to stake at a high rate. It adds value to keeping AC for long periods. That's something we need.

I see, in that case you can take a look at Pligg, http://pligg.com/, an open-source CMS that provides more interative features among the community or BuddyPress, https://buddypress.org/, a type of a really powerful community suite for WordPress. I've personally used a bit of Pligg but it may be less user-friendly to most people and also experience tells me if you do not provide at least some form of moderation to people's submissions the comments may turn out to be spammy or SEO-oriented. I guess you have to strike a balance in between. Anyways, feel free to explore and I'm thinking the chances are probably that some of the plugins from within WordPress can get your job done. Thank you for the feedback. I will most likely use Wordpress since I've used it before on other sites and it's pretty easy to work with it. |

Tbh i dont think we need the list anymore since AC have great value again and it is just going to rise even more. Whats important now is updating future goals and etc. The list was there only to make sure what amt of coins ppl add for AC2 but now AC is staying no need for Ac2.
The list will go away once the new patch is applied. However, I would like to use the site to further promote AC since it already had over 1K unique visits in the past couple days from people interested in the AC topic. I would like for the site to become a good source for information related to AsiaCoin. |

I'm back. Had a long day at work. Maestro1 and micryon, thanks for keeping me in the loop with updates and GREAT WORK GUYS! I will continue to support this community and help with marketing. One of the first things I will do after the patched wallet gets released, I will use CryptoSteam.com to have a list of AC links for people to browse and find more information about AC. A list of links to the official website, this thread, AC multipools, articles, exchanges, merchants, etc. If anyone has an idea of which open source CMS I can use to create a nice looking site that helps with adding links quickly, please let me know. For now, I'm still adding people to the list. PM me if you want to get on there. Everyone, continue to support this community! There are many things you can do. Get the word out there! Use WordPress, simply download WordPress v3.9 from http://wordpress.org/, and follow their famous 5-min installation guide. You should be able to setup a pretty nice-looking site within 30 minutes or so. Thank you for the suggestion. I do know how to install CMS like Wordpress, but I was wondering if there is a specific theme, plugin, or CMS that does a beautiful list of links and a way for people to submit their own links as well. I want it to be top-notch so people will see that we are a serious community. |

Hey guys, i also decided to just revert out all the bad code that was hiding premine.. so code is way cleaner now. And fixed the RPC function to return the real money supply MINUS the banned premine.. if anyone is interested on what that real money supply number will be, here it is:  effectively 171,588,826 coins You the man! |

I certainly never would trust this coin again. That being said, I hope you can revive it just so those people who lost their AC can get back what they lost. Good luck.
I think it would be faulty logic to not trust the coin again from this incident.. the key is how much do you trust the devs that are fixing the code.. Let's face it.. you trusted a guy with 0 posts on bitcoin forums.. but now you have a guy with posts and Trust ratings fixing the coin.. So.. not sure why your trust level would be lower.. if anything it should be higher.. I know , I know.. doesn't work like that.. but if everyone was more logical and less emotional..  +1. |

I've been monitoring what's been going on here and as someone who has invested hundreds I would like to say I'm happy and excited with the way this have been panning out over the last couple days. Do you mean the first month AFTER relaunch is 100% then next 11 months are 70%?
Or June will be 100% and July to December will be 70%?
So proposal will be 1 month after the patch.. (guys start using the term patch.. not relaunch ) So Starting June-next May will be 70%. Now till June will be 100% I'm in full support. |

Huh.. well it looks like the original dev didn't really think ahead past 10 years... The original code burned Tx Fees AND ends subsidy in 10 years..
So this was destined to need a fork in 10 years, regardless...
Okay so here's my proposal.
It will be 100% for the next month. After that it will go to 70% for the remainder of the year. After that it will be 2% ad infinitum (at least the same length as blackcoin/ppcoin)

I have a little bit of this nonsense coin on Cryptsy. Can someone explain if I will ever be able to sell this coin again or if if my coins are just stuck in imaginary limbo forever?
How long are we looking at this 're-launch' taking? Will the market just magically re-open for me on cryptsy and allow trading again?
Anyone care to explain in simple terms when I should expect my AsiaCoins to be worth anything again and not 0?
