241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you suggest participate in airdrop? why? on: May 18, 2019, 02:21:14 PM
Form now I just join airdrop with a simple task, like join telegram group, follow twitter, etc.
If you are lucky you can get 10$+ per airdrop, and remember, don't do KYC for an untrusted airdrop.
You're definitely making good money.)I honestly do not remember that for participation in airdrop gave as much money equivalent to $10.And in general, I don’t like to waste time is meaningless and wasted. It is better to develop. To write articles, for example, to take part in the bounty and personally develop.
242  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which is best Bitcoin wallet? Other than hardware on: May 15, 2019, 10:44:07 AM
Hi,
Which is the best wallet for long term Bitcoin holding other than hardware wallets.

Personally, I have been using wallet a long time ago https://www.blockchain.com/.In principle, problems with him never had.But still, if you plan to store Bitcoin for a long time, it is still better to use a hardware wallet.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 15, 2019, 10:24:06 AM
In addition to the exchanges listed on the CMC, there are many other exchanges.I have a question WHY do we need so many exchanges? What do You think the new exchange will be able to attract potential users?
While those upcoming exchanges should put emphasis on gaining trust to attract potential users.
I personally think that in order to gain the trust of users you need to create a convenient and clear interface.Round-the-clock technical support, multilingualism, the presence of competitions and innovations can really attract a lot of users. But in order for new exchanges to be in demand, there must be many users directly using the cryptocurrency.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 13, 2019, 10:44:13 PM
I see that exchange now prioritizes personal gain.  not to provide benefits to users.  finally.  exchanges only harm the user and the exchange does not last long.  exchange purpose is for making users comfortable.  I think, Beaxy is an exchange that will compete with big exchanges like Binance.  and that can be your choice.
Since You advertise this exchange, tell us how it differs from all the others?

oh yeah don't forget the security issue, for me an exchange that has good security services is a top priority.
I didn't want to recall the terrible situation that the binance exchange faced not so long ago, but for an answer one would have to remember that even such a secure exchange as binance was also subjected to hacker attacks. Therefore, the expression “safe exchange, remains in the past.
246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 13, 2019, 10:26:34 PM
Not all of the alt-coin could be listed on one exchange so for me it is enough reason to have other exchange.
One exchange couldn't provide for everyone and they all have different rules.
And of course it would be real hassle if we only have one exchange and they would go to a maintenance or be hack.
No one says that there should be 1 exchange. The question is why do they create them almost every day?
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 13, 2019, 10:23:53 PM
That's how it works, ultimately the ones who are serious about it will try to offers something better, whether it's regulations, better fees, faster platform, more detailed charts, more trading options, margin trading, etc etc. We do in fact need more cryptocurrency exchanges, hopefully decentralized ones as well.
I think all these features (except margin trading) are available on any exchange.I also give an advantage to decentralized exchanges, but in addition to + they have negative sides.

249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Road to $8k? Bitcoin parabolic curve kinda dangerous on: May 13, 2019, 08:01:50 PM
For some reason I have never been serious about technical analysis, but just today I found an interesting YouTube channel where the author tells about his analysis. His channel is pretty old and I started to check his predictions that he did 1 year ago.And about Eureka he was right about almost everything. Most likely bitcoin can really fall in price.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make a secure Cryptocurrency for next generation on: May 13, 2019, 07:45:08 PM
My ambition is just make the cryptocurrrncy secure for our next generation!
Please tell your opinion about this issue!

It's certainly good that You care about a safe future, but it seems to me that the way you propose it will be impossible to do it.There is a platform (which by the way IEO is currently conducting) with which you can solve exactly the problem you are talking about.Learn more about this platform and start feeling more secure.https://tokensale.w12.io/
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Mining Still Viable? on: May 13, 2019, 07:22:33 PM
Not after end of 2017 when price decreased constantly. It depends on how cheap/expensive the electricity is.

In most of the countries mining is no longer profitable and it might become attractive at a price of 6500-7000 $.
Looking at today's bitcoin price, I think no one has any doubts about the profitability of mining. The Bitmain plant creates new mining equipment for a reason. If it was not profitable, then it is quite obvious that no one would create new equipment.Mining is viable and profitable. Who says the opposite is probably just lying.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we Now Comfortably Say We have Entered the Bull Run? on: May 12, 2019, 08:26:59 AM
The market is up but i think we should wait more before because can happen that the price for bitcoin to grow but maybe the altcoins will suffer again if the price of bitcoin will drop.
The bull run has really started. The price of bitcoin at this moment is $7 476.95.Back in March, the price was 4000.This is a fantastic rise of bitcoin which is likely to continue..I have not left the monitor for the second day).Who managed to buy cheap bitcoin is now undoubtedly happy.Optimism still won pessimism.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 12, 2019, 06:52:58 AM
We regularly read FUD articles in the popular media about Bitcoin being used in scams and that it is a perfect tool for scammers to hide their activities and the movie industry already labelled Bitcoin as the Internet of Money for the DarkNet.  Roll Eyes

I am currently watching a series called, "Undercover: Nailing the Fraudsters" and most of the scams featured there are done within a regulated environment. Boiler room scammers are not requesting payment in Crypto currencies to hide their activities, they get the victims to deposit money via their Bank accounts into their Bank accounts. <obviously created with fake ID documents>  Roll Eyes

In business, the term boiler room refers to an outbound call center selling questionable investments by telephone. It usually refers to a room where salesmen work using unfair, dishonest sales tactics, sometimes selling penny stocks, private placements or committing outright stock fraud. - Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiler_room_(business)

So, next time when someone tells you that Crypto currencies are used for scams, please highlight the fact that most scams are still being done under the nose of the regulated financial industry.  Wink

Whenever I come across any article which says bitcoin is being used to scam people, I simply close it and ignore it as I know it’s not the truth. If you see the stats 99% of the scams happen involves fiat money, and most happen via the method you have mentioned above. I’m definitely going to watch that series, and will be using your last statement to make my case that bitcoin is not being used for scams.

I think you missed my point, I am not saying Bitcoin is not used for scams, but rather that most scams are still being done, using fiat currencies and also within a regulated financial environment. Bitcoin is used for scams and we cannot deny that, because criminals are attracted to anything that has value and offers them some kind of anonymity. <Remember, Cash also offer anonymity>

We need to break the ignorance and the stupidity of people who prefer to only see the one side of the argument and not the flaws in their own statements.  Roll Eyes
So that's what many do not understand that the scammers are everywhere. And there is no difference how and where they receive funds. If we could openly analyze all the illegal operations that scammers do,then everyone would be horrified by the amount of working capital that scammers allegedly use in a regulated environment with the help of fiat money. And the fact that bitcoin and cryptocurrency many associated with fraud is simply due to lack of knowledge of what is cryptocurrency. But like You said we need to look at 2 sides of the coin. There are a lot of bad people here, too.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far are we from real decentralization? on: May 12, 2019, 06:16:11 AM
We're still at the beginning.Decentralization is gradually entering our lives.Applications, services, communities are created that are aimed at complete decentralization. Therefore, at the moment we are still far from real decentralization, but the movement is set.I hope sometime we will still begin to live without the 3rd party.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 11, 2019, 02:53:33 PM
I am happy today as finally the total Marketcap is now $200 billion, what can we expect from here?

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/
Already by the way 206 billion). What can I say,I am delighted that the market has started to recover. And I'm sure that's just the beginning.I hope within 5 years the capitalization will be 1 trillion.Cryptocurrencies are very young, but already have a huge capitalization.Cryptocurrencies are clearly not a bubble or a Ponzi scheme.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Funds are no more #SAFU! Binance lied? on: May 09, 2019, 06:46:56 AM
Hacking Binance is very sad news, but it is only proof absolutely every exchange can be hacked. So no matter how trustful and secure exchange looks it is better keep your funds on your own wallets.
After this case, I think many people really think about where it is better to store the funds. If such large players are exposed to hacker attacks, then naturally the level of people's confidence in the storage of funds on the exchange will decrease.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 08, 2019, 06:32:53 AM
ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?
It all depends on the project and the team.If the project has a target audience and an interested circle of people who are ready to invest in the project without an ICO, then why should it conduct an ICO?Many projects have collected Hard Cap but did not develop their project and Vice versa, many projects with a modest budget are very successful in the market. So everything is relative.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the largest banks in France issues a token on Ethereum blockchain on: May 08, 2019, 06:16:38 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/societe-generales-work-with-public-ethereum-is-a-big-deal

What do you think of this? How much does eth benefit when a new token is issued on it's architecture. Does this have any influence on you wanting to buy into eth, or is it not a big deal?

There are dozens of super projects in the Ethereum network. However, most of them go to mainnet at the first opportunity. I don't think these will affect the price of Etheruem.
What makes you think so? If the Bank will use Ethereum in its services, then at least pay a commission for gas. As you know, the more transactions, the greater the likelihood that the price will be higher.Any Bank is a large number of transactions.France is very loyal to cryptocurrencies and I think over time there will be a lot of positive news related to France and cryptocurrencies.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ATMs appears at Estonia on: May 07, 2019, 01:13:57 PM
Apparently Estonia is the real crypto, sandbox of the European Union.I have already met many cryptocurrency startups in this country and they are all very successful. The emergence of crypto-bankers was most likely planned long ago. This of course is very pleasing. I would certainly like to see a link to this news.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: May 07, 2019, 12:38:35 PM
This is quite a noble cause, helping the poor and homeless is a very kind and generous gesture. If you have the means you should create your own coin or token promoting crypto for the homeless you can get more investors and donations through that.
I agree with Your opinion, but I've seen a lot of projects that want to help the homeless, but in the end, nothing worked.I am absolutely sure that such platforms should exist. There are a lot of people who need help.
