242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep proper distance but not losing passion on: February 28, 2019, 01:43:01 PM
I think having over confidence about trading gets a lot of people, I had a friend who made a lot of money during the bear run of 2018 and believed he was some sort of magical trader that can make money any time in any market, dude lost all he profited and than some with couple bad trades after a while.

Do not forget that trading is something you constantly learn, even after years of denying to invest into something he doesn't understand Warren Buffet decided to invest into Apple and got some stocks which fell in value and gave him a loss. Basically, all I am saying it doesn't matter how much you learn and how much experience you have, there is always more to learn and more to experience in order to be better, every single day you become a better trader than previous day.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: The decline has slowed down, the bears are still dominant on: February 27, 2019, 11:28:23 AM
The next major move that can break the resistance is subject to a major fundamental announcement else the price will continue to range within $3700+ having been in that range for long until the recent rumoured ETF  approval leaked out before the price rally upward I believe the same scenario will repeat itself in an upcoming positive announcement.
There are plenty of reasons for bitcoin price to test again $4200 levels again but I still could not figure out why it suddenly fell down on last Sunday up to $3800 levels in less than 5 hours of trading. But, the good news is the range of bitcoin's movement has improved a bit. The next range would be up to $4700 levels and then bitcoin may stay above $4000 levels afterward.

I assume bears have lost their dominance and at the same time bulls not yet gaining the full strength. It is usually take more time for bulls to get into action in full pledged. But, we can be relaxed in mean time as bears are getting out of scenes slowly.
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Emaar Properties says no to accepting cryptocurrencies as payment on: February 26, 2019, 08:10:45 PM
I do not think that is a bad bet on some UAE company. We are definitely fine without any Arabic investment into bitcoin anyway, oil money should stay in oil and whatever they want, we wouldn't want it to spoil BTC as well by spending billions of dollars all at once.

That is how oil money is always invested, they just find something they are interested in, they are smart enough to know oil will not continue to exist forever and they just put all the oil money they have into some newer stuff like put a billion dollars into some small company because a billion dollars made from oil today is less than the 100 million you will continue to make from that smaller company for decades. I would rather have an endless source of income over a one time big amount as well and Emaar is no different, they made their fortune by selling it to oil barons.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik buterin suggests ripple is better than BTC. on: February 26, 2019, 06:44:57 PM
He wasn't praising XRP, anyone that reads this and thinks it validates the way Ripple works is either a shill for XRP or have no idea what sarcasm is. Dude is literally ripping XRP a new one about their "partnerships" and "adoptions" with how they work companies instead of focusing on being a b2c.

XRP only survives when they have contracts with banks and financial companies around the world that uses their blockchain to send and receive money for cheaper. It is not a coin, it is a way to move money and that's it.

He was just saying if that is what you are looking for in a coin than you might as well go with Ripple because that is all they do and that is all they are good for. In order to think that praises XRP in anyway or shape you would have to be proud of being "money moving system" instead of being a crypto currency.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: One small step for Bitcoin one giant leap for Crypto on: February 25, 2019, 07:37:00 PM
This is by far the most hilarious trolls of chart people I have ever seen. I mean don't get me wrong I hate chart people as well and how they think they know everything about bitcoin prices and where it is going and how they are so right because same happened for an hour in 1983 march 13 and it was exactly the same so obviously it will happen again and all that know it all crap they have constantly but I was never capable of humiliating them the way this post does. A boot on? That is just hilarious man Cheesy.

It looks like Italy will be the answer to all of bitcoins problems because apparently a boot is what bitcoin was looking for and Italy has that covered. Or maybe aboot like Canadians say Cheesy. I know my puns are not as good and sucks but I just wanted to be part of the people who mocked idiot chart readers.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get your daily overview of the market?? on: February 24, 2019, 08:12:43 PM
Just for prices I just type in whatever coin I am wondering on my telegram chat, our group has a bot that basically tells you what the price of a coin is if you ask it and that is enough for me, all the other ones have ton of other coins and I just wanna know the prices of couple of coins that's all.

For news, I come here as well but mainly I go to reddit because the r/cryptocurrency has a lot of great worthy news, the difference between reddit and here is that here you see posts with the latest response but in reddit you see posts that are upvoted the most, that metric of voting allows the best news to be promoted and worst ones to go down even if they have a lot of chat under it.

Honestly, those 2-3 things is enough for daily unless some major thing happened, if a major thing happened I usually go to twitter and try to see if the people I follow and trust commented on that or not.
248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: By speculating..Should we pay attention to high frequency trading? on: February 24, 2019, 08:02:45 AM
I think that pace is because technology is improved enough to automate almost all trading. Either thanks to trading bots in all trading (forex or bitcoin doesn't matter) and also stop loss- buy order- sell order and all that automatic movements are there as well. So when something manually happens all those check points are hit and react accordingly and that is why the moves are so fastly done, not because people are always 7/24 looking at the charts and react but because tech allows them to be away from keyboard and still make sure their trades are not going down the hill.

If there is a stop loss at a big number on some coin then when we reach that it will sell in a second before you can react because its basically coded in the exchange with the stop loss. Basically all that pace comes from moves that were given to the exchange and done without human supervision.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you Please Guide me Which is the Right age to start Crypto Exchange Business on: February 21, 2019, 11:53:26 AM
I would like to start a bitcoin exchange and investment business. Though I had lots of confusion, when and how should I want to start my business?  I'm looking for some proper guidance, could you people gave me some suggestions about crypto exchange business. Waiting for your valuable responces
Crypto exchange business is a tough business that requires too many stuff. From development to features to graphics to design to marketing to security. People with millions of dollars invested into it with a huge team still could fail at it and they do, look at places like kraken and poloniex that used to be something but now failing horribly and they are huge business' that fail.

Hence, if you want to start your own exchange at a young age know that it is quite hard to break into that business and almost impossible to make profit while running it as a one man operation. You would need experts of all topics mentioned above and you  would need a lot of capital to do your own marketing as well. If you do not posses the capital and man power for any of that I would suggest not to bother with it.
250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: February 20, 2019, 04:40:06 PM
The real future of exchange may be too fatal. I mean people may not need a specialized services in the name of crypto exchanges either people will trade themselves or they never need to buy or sell or convert like they will "earn crypto" and then will "spend crypto" directly. This will not happen within this month but in few decades.

Yes, we may not need exchanges. Just our friends and known people are more than enough to buy/sell fiats and cryptos when more number of people will be knowing/using cryptos. This must be the real future hence it may take more time to happen at our door step too.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a coin price be locked in place? on: February 20, 2019, 02:08:36 PM
Let's say an agreement was made among all the major Bitcoin exchanges.  Starting January 1, a Bitcoin is worth $5000 USD, plain and simple, and that's it.  The price never goes higher or lower.  A Bitcoin is $5000 today, tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.  NOTHING changes it.  Not a war, not the economy, not Trump getting re-elected (which he will, he's doing a great job), nothing.

I wonder if that could be done and what the effect would be.
This is out of basics of economics. Who we are to do that ? Only Apple may fix the price of Iphone X. But, USA government should not try to fix price of gold. You are talking like we are the creator and and to fix a value for bitcoins. Might be if Satoshi would have been thought this way then he might have done that. But Satoshi might have thought about deciding value of bitcoins based on market demands because this is how value of everything in this world is being fixed.
252  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: February 20, 2019, 07:40:08 AM
Good volume, lots of users who is trading in that exchange and not just bots and also with a transparent CEO and team. Overall dont put all your money in one exchange cause no trading exchanges is 100% trustworthy. Haven't you heard of exchanges getting hack or bankrupt and the recent quadriga X scandal.
Guadriga incident was not a scam but an accident in my view as its CEO died unexpectedly when he was on tour. I believe no one could prevent quadriga kind of scenarios even how effectively you will be choosing your exchange. Because, we cannot foresee the future hence the best practice with respect to quadriga must be, not keeping big money online. Yes, it is applicable for both web wallets and exchanges.

I do choose exchanges after reading comments from this community. When more people suggest not to touch then I will stay away from those services. I suggest everyone to make use of this forum as it will be more powerful and the tips and suggestion from this community will be most latest one to trust and to follow.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally little fire on bitcoin got ignited on: February 19, 2019, 08:32:35 PM
This is just a "little" fire tough, we need so much more. I mean we need at least above 5 thousand dollars to even say its a start of a bull, with these increases I feel like its not up and down trends that we are used to know, without breaking something like at least 4.5 thousand at bare minimum we can't really call it a bull and I seriously can't get hyped about it.

Don't get me wrong anytime bitcoin goes up instead of go down I am happy, that is how I approach it, going up doesn't have to be too much, even a %1 increase is amazing because it means it didn't went down. However in reality, I can't get excited anymore unless its a price I haven't seen in months. Last time we have seen over 5 thousand dollars was that bitcoin cash war thingy and ever since that we are below that price, if we move above it again then I would be super excited.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a future for BTC anymore? on: February 19, 2019, 07:35:03 PM
While we are talking here about if there is any future in bitcoin the price of all crypto increased again. Here we are almost at 4 thousand dollars again and many people here starting topics like "are we going to moon" because people are like that. When people see a bit of increase they think price will go back to 20 thousand dollars again, when they see a bit of decrease in the price they think bitcoin is going under 1 thousand dollars.

People like to overreact because that is what we do, we plan for the worst and best case scenarios and not the middle ground, we do not look at some hyundai i20 and imagine we drive it, no we imagine ourselves driving a ferrari (or whatever a good car is) and to be realistic we imagine a small beetle and how cute it will be. Do not react like bitcoin is dead, its not, we are not going to make a million dollars but we are not going to be dead neither.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto is getting ready for nice rally. Are you ready? on: February 19, 2019, 05:53:49 PM
From 2018 till date, we are getting awesome news on crypto. But market went into opposite. But hope progress can be made on SEC and/ or CFTC approval, US gov is back on action. Large name like Fidelity, IFC etc are quite confident in btc. Plus ethereum constantinopole hardfork is due. So future is bright, may be this rally will be ended but next bull run will be longer and higher
It is really nice to see the market is trading in green but at the same time I'm just staying cautious because it could be another scenario of dead-cat bouncing. I mean until we will be getting confirmation about the reversal of markets, it would be much better to trade in low volume or completely staying away from the markets.

ETF news and some positive review by few financial institutions are triggering this wave but who is actually buying, it may be another few investors based on those news and events and when they finish off their buying, I am afraid again we may face hard time like  what we have faced in the last rally.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Most Promising Cheap Cryptocurrencies Under $1 In 2019 on: February 19, 2019, 05:17:59 PM
How could you left out nano ? I mean there are so many coins that are so much behind Nano in that list. Nano was the pioneer in the fast transaction world of crypto and still is and had at one point reached 34 at its peak and now under 1 dollar. It has so much more potential than many of these coins, a x10 in Nano wouldn't be even a shock during the bull run.

People loved Nano as well, check out reddit and how much each coin is mentioned, it is 6th most talked about coin in all of reddit, beating many of the famous coins like monero. I say a top ten under 1 dollar coins list without Nano is literally missing one of the most important ones. Maybe iota and cardano could be better and its a tie with xem and stellar but it really deserves to be there more than many of those coins.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: SendFriend gets investments from Ripple, Mastercard, Barclays on: February 19, 2019, 04:18:01 PM
I seriously doubt that. I mean look at startups all over silicon valley, the ones that fail and the ones that doesn't show this kind of promise and there are many ones that just funded because founders did something good once upon a time. Not everything is a paypal mafia that went on to do great things, some startups just fail by default because the idea is that bad.

So, considering those horrible startups at silicon valley could get much much more than 1.7 million dollars in funding just because they were capable of networking with right people I don't think sendfriend should be really happy getting small amount compared to these horrible startups. They actually have a great system intact and they could sell their company for over a billion dollars one day (if they do everything properly) so selling out a part of your company for this cheap is not a smart move.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Send Bitcoin Tips Over Lightning on Twitter on: February 19, 2019, 03:37:00 PM
First of all this is a great way to get more branding for lightning network and it reaches to many people who use twitter and get more awareness for how awesome it could be but totally useless, there is no "rush" for the tip and could be sent in an hour if you want to and would still be fine so using it to tip tweets doesn't really sound like its a must.

We do need it for trading and basically any transaction we need to send or receive money instead of something we just "feel like doing", we should focus on withdrawals from exchanges for example which takes a ton of money from us but use tiny amounts instead so exchanges make ton of profit from getting withdrawal fee from us and with lightening network we can prevent that. It is a decent system to show what LN could be but we need something bigger than this for it.
259  Economy / Economics / Re: California Governor Believes Blockchain Is The Key To Securing Data on: February 18, 2019, 05:39:32 PM
You will continue to see democrat states get more and more bitcoin supportive in the future. The difference is republicans are the old money and they are probably always richer than their democrat rivals and get more funding from the big companies and basically run USA like a company.

Democrats see bitcoin is a way out of the old money ways and move into the future where they are not the under funded party anymore and get bitcoin support from all over the world. Companies versus the people almost always favors the company because they have deeper pockets to continue the war while people eventually ran out of funds however if bitcoin gets any bigger someone from Nigeria could fund a USA president candidate thanks to bitcoin. Which could potentially at least close the gap a bit between the rich republicans and peoples democrats.

just signup, fill the basic info --> save, then logout. after that login again, go to deposit, and you get your BTC address. Wink The payment will be made every week directly to your xch4nge account.
I am not able to get BTC addy.

I signed up and then filled "Account Information" under info tab. Then clicked "next". Signed out. Signed in again.

Then clicked "wallets", for BTC, I clicked "Deposit" it showing "SORRY To get started you must first complete verification in Profile."

Please check on this.

Alright... I have signed in, saw a btc address from deposit/wallet as directed. I hope it goes well   Grin Roll Eyes
You cleared KYC or just the "Account Information" page alone ?
