242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 01:56:11 PM
Seems that Bitstamp is dying slowly.

Sure it is.

Who would risk his coins to keep them over there? We don't need another Gox.

i think if they wanted to gox, they would have done it then and there itself.
has the multisig part on it been enabled  ?

Tennis:

Zagreb Indoors

Marchenko v Troicki: Troicki to win(1.36)

Dzumhur v Berrer: Berrer to win(1.34)

Androic v M Baghdatis: Baghdatis to win(1.1)

A Seppi v R Haase: Seppi to win(1.4)

Ecuador Open 2015

J Souza v A Falla: J Souza to win(1.53)

Im pretty confidant that all of them will win..so you could make a small parlay out of it.!

GL.! Smiley

Troicki is trailing a set..but im pretty sure he will win the 2nd..lets see how it goes in the 3rd set.! He is leading 3 games to nil..in the 2nd set.!

1 set all..after the 2nd set tie break..3rd set...Troicki tried to break serve as game went on deuce..but couldnt do it.!

Troicki finally breaks serve in the 3rd set.. going up 3 games to 2.. with his service game to come next.

Edit: WTF?? loses his serve in his service game.. 3 all now.!

Looks like Troicki won. Good tip . Are others happening now or will happen later ?
244  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: grow your bitcoins here.....with 0 % risk on: February 03, 2015, 12:17:07 PM
Another scam, does the OP thinks someone will give him some BTC Grin

0 % risk, lol.

Looks like the op forgot to add a 1 before that and a 0 after that 0 for the risk.
245  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: looking for loan against property on: February 02, 2015, 02:44:58 PM
why don't you take the loan from banks then when you have property as collateral, banks rate will lower then loans here and you will get hard cash so don't need to convert BTC to fiat

Due to income certificates. At present i am working on crypto and earning from that and bank will not accept that Sad

And whether the lender pays in crypto or fiat we dont have any problem.

You should find some other place for that. No one will provide you such a loan on this forum, and you are just wasting your time here.
246  Local / India / Re: Kolkata Bitcoin Meetup - March 1, 2015 on: February 02, 2015, 02:44:02 PM

Might be a good idea to have a hangout enabled for the event as well .
Was a good idea for the last meetup in delhi as well.
247  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: January 30, 2015, 11:21:47 AM
Did anyone watch the first Episode of Fortitude last night? I'll likely wait for the series to finish before I check it out but it looks like a British version of all those gloomy and mysterious Scandinavian crime dramas. They were advertising all over the tv radio and newspapers so they're pushing it pretty hard for some reason which is weird for TV programs.

Looks like it got a pretty good rating on the first episode that aired yesterday . Going to be following it. I wish I came across the show about an year down the line, so I could watch an entire season in one day.
248  Economy / Gambling / Re: What should I do? on: January 29, 2015, 10:00:33 PM
I suggest not to open a crowd-funded website since you're not exactly trusted and you don't have any funds for marketing. Plus there's been way too many crowd-funded websites that have been dishonest. Imo, your only option is to attempt selling your dice script, which will be hard since you don't have a reputation.

Well, if you plan on doing this, might be good to have an experienced coder look into it, before someone buys it .
makes it safe.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your strategy on dice sites? on: January 29, 2015, 09:58:48 PM
-snip-
Seems like rather a small profit for the high chance of loss you have.  I think standard Martingale would work a lot better for you

that method works better than you think it would, i used to use a even lower win %, just ensure that you can take 100 loss streaks with your bank roll and you slowly profit

Yes, but what happens if you hit 105 losses?  You are broke for very little profit.  I mean you have better odds if you just YOLO at 85% than what you are doing.  You are essentially trying to win small amounts for a high chance of losing it all, and the more you play, the more likely you are to lose

Thats true for any gambling system. Thats usually the point to mitigate the loses until you no longer can and bust. You can only push the risk back to high losing streaks. Its the same for martingale. I had many martingale streaks (16 and more loses in a row) in the past, thus I dont like playing that any more.

With the "r3dsnow" a simulation of 31000 runs with 1 million rolls max (less if you bust ofc) resulted in 7345 profitable runs. The lowest positive profit beeing 120 satoshi (lol) the highest 127784842 Satoshi (1,27 BTC), the average (over all runs) 7619340 Satoshi and the median (over all runs) beeing -1999906.

Its only a simulation though and its not perfect yet. I currently use random numbers instead of the usual shaX(server_seed-client_seed-nounce).

On the server it is working out for me so far, but ofc you are correct this will one day bust.

Edit: (stats update, ~900 bets made since the last update)

Code:
Bets:     159810
Wins:      40064
Losses:   119746
Wagered:  0.15309492
Profit:   0.00714458

I understand what you are saying.  All I am telling you is classic Martingale is better than your strategy as far as more profit goes at a safer amount of risk.  You are still using Martingale, its just a modified version of it.  The more safe way to do Martingale is to use a higher win % and then a higher increase on loss, its just simple math.  You are using one of the worst versions of Martingale you can use.

For a short run of profits , you could also try the martingale variation of betting x10.
Where you make a few dust bets and then start doubling after 5 losses at big value bets.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchange for BTC/USD? on: January 29, 2015, 09:57:17 PM
Coinbase is your safest bet right now, specially due to all these big investments coming in, I can only see it improve in the future.
I heard bitstamp now has a multi sig as well, so might be a good option too.
251  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★★★★★Xcoinprofit| Ponzi|130% Return|Fast Payment|Secure|★★★★★ on: January 29, 2015, 09:42:35 PM
probably the same guy who ran all the other broken english ponzis here in the past... similar website template, similar grammar, absolutely similar scam... he will end up saying ' im going to sleep now, when i wake up i will pay you guys ' ..

his previous scam : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=924004.0

Been the trend with most of the ponzis out there. Old ponzis set up under new names and cheap domains to relaunch their ponzis.

253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Crashes; $200 Next? on: January 29, 2015, 09:39:56 PM
After an impressive rise during the Coinbase euphoria, bitcoin price didn’t manage to remain near the reached peak levels. Although Bitfinex BTC/USD climbed up to $314 a bearish bias has started haunting the bitcoin price  once again. In the meantime, the 24 hour trading volume dropped by about 100.000 BTC

What do you think? Who'll win tomorrow's battle? Bears or Bulls?

Wouldn't there be another upward run after the announcement on 2nd ? Or is that not going to affect it in anyway ?
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin UP and DOWN continues on: January 29, 2015, 09:38:53 PM
Bitcoin again falling down.So volatile.Any more reasons???

been happening since the past month. Looks like it doesn't need a reason to ride the coaster.
255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 29, 2015, 09:38:06 PM

Shocked Shocked Next bull run will be so huge we can't even imagen  Cool

Isn't that from 3-4 months back when paypal announced it . Or is it something new ?
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: the order of declines on: January 29, 2015, 08:09:29 PM
First-bitcoin (as it was the most speculative asset)
Second-oil and other commodities
Third-stocks (just started to happen)
Fourth-bonds and real estate (again)-maybe the last, once we are done with deflation.

German 5 year bonds were at negative yields last week, so something has to give.
Hopefully, bitcoin would be the first one to recover, but i don't hope for it too much.

Looks like its all pointed towards a big economic crash. Might happen soon , probably sometime in 2016.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin price crashes - here's why on: January 29, 2015, 08:08:42 PM
i was shocked when i saw 200$ price at first, and the first thing that came to my mind was that it might be a good opportunity to buy. but now i am not that sure
I think thats the feeling , I have been getting after all drops. Lets hope we see no more.
258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cryptsy - deposit on: January 29, 2015, 08:07:18 PM
Something wrong with deposits on cryptsy. It doesn´t work.
I feel there will be some big problem like mt.gox, bitstamp this month. Ou. Hope I will get my money back.

Is it a problem with only bitcoin deposits or happening with all Altcoin deposits ?
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: $35 or $3,500 within 24 months? on: January 29, 2015, 08:06:44 PM
$35
Temporarily going under $100 is possible, but going under $50 doesn't seem too likely.

$3,500?
A juicy target for the next big high is ~$3,400 to $4,000, but getting over $3,000 will be a stretch.

How about both?
Given the history of extremes with BTC prices, it is possible we will see both $35 and $3,500 within ~36 to 48 months.
The future will be amazing!

Which is more likely for Bitcoin prices within 24 months:
$35 or $3,500?

Well 35$ is obviously more likely than the othjer option. But I don;t think either is likely to happen.
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: looks like ISIS is fundraising with Bitcoin on: January 29, 2015, 08:04:51 PM
Good thing that they use Bitcoin. At least Bitcoin can be traced - within some limits, I know.
Maybe somebody really good will find out who funds those mofos and bring them to justice!
Coin mixing can be used to hide traces in the blockchain.

Its not always the case .I am sure those mixing sites store transaction data somewhere, and if something serious happens, then they can probably be made to give up the information to the governemnt.
