241  Other / Meta / Threads being locked and archived without notification. What's going on? on: April 05, 2020, 11:49:38 PM
I run signature campaign for BitDice and due to an old rule our thread got locked so we had to make a new one and remove the rule.

However now the new thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231337.msg53989972#msg53989972) has been archived without any notification to us. How am I supposed to run a campaign and get new participants when necessary if this keeps happening.

Why do these things without informing the users that are affected?

EDIT: I'd also like to add that with the original thread being locked (and dogedice.me account being banned for 2 weeks) there was not really much information given either. So we had to basically guess why it happened...

I'd be a lot more understanding if it was made clear why these things keep happening instead of just having to find out the things myself.

I know this could be a less important issue but what happened to the signature thread?
I understand the first one was locked by mods for which ever reason am not sure about but why then was the second thread locked and trashed?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523133

Not sure what link you have since leads to nowhere to me. This is Bitdice signature campaign thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231337.msg53989972#msg53989972  It is locked since it dont takes new members.

Hmm. I just noticed in middle when I was making this post that it is now in archive. Things are getting strange on this forum.

What is going on here...

Nobody told us why the thread was archived or anything. What are we expected to do when we need new participants?

Hello everyone,

On Wednesday night (25th of March) an user was able to find and exploit a bug on our site that allowed them to be able to predict upcoming cards in an active BlackJack round. Fortunately we caught on it relatively quickly however the user was still able to withdraw some funds gained by this issue.

I think it's important to note that no other harm was caused. The reason for this  was a simple oversight after a recent update back to using nonce in our provably fair method.
I guess if this guy just reported the bug, he'll be rewarded by Alex generously. I remember Sygambler(cmiiw) was rewarded for reporting a bug or something like that.

Good thing that it didn't cause much harm.
If admins and devs didn't do a thing I'm sure that kind of bug can make this gambling site collapse seeing the wagered amount of jakub76 that is a big huge and I'm expecting that he profited big due to the bug.

This issue will make admin and devs of bitdice that their gambling site has still bugs, Helping out bitdice to figure out the bugs might have yourself rewarded by admins or devs.

Yep, such a bug would have deserved a bounty. However the sad fact is that lots of people take what they can using dishonest means.

Don't worry investors will cover loses for your sloppiness. More info on Bitdice progress can be found here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224823.0

Progress you mean? Yep, there has definitely been progress on the upcoming website which is right on track. We're also progressing on the business development front in terms of looking into new games that could be added as well as some fruitful discussions with payment service processors. So yeah, progress as you said.

I was active playing few years back before bitdice add the games from 3rd party providers.

May I ask what the issue with this is or was adding third-party games the reason you stopped playing at BitDice? Considering you can still choose from provably fair games.
247  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 50 BCH Stolen by Stake.com on: March 16, 2020, 08:58:22 AM
If there was any kind of support from Stake when this happened, I would not have to make this post. If there systems were fully operational and didn't have random refreshes, this would not have happened either.

This is a very frustrating situation and shouldn't have never gotten to this point.

You realize how fucked up it is to create a thread explicitly accusing Stake.com of stealing your money, right?

You sent 50 BCH to the wrong address.
It said BTC not BCH.
It had the Gold BTC logo not the Green BCH logo.
There was a message that said "Only Send BTC to this Address".
And then you sent BCH.

Or am I missing something?

https://i.imgur.com/Naa6ESN.png

I posted that screenshot to showcase that in fact the BTC address was owned by Stake and the BCH sent there was immediately recoverable by Stake. They chose not to recover it for me.

You are correct in saying that the screen clearly states BTC, but what happened was:
1. i pulled up the BCH deposit screen.
2. Stake's page has refreshed and default deposit method is BTC so thats what it switched to
3. I used the Coinbase app to scan the bar code and of course the BCH address showed for me. There was no error messages. I clicked send.

only after a few minutes did i realize this mistake (caused by Stake's software) and notified them IMMEDIATELY.

NOTHING was done.

If I understand it correctly, the BTC address owner despite it being their address, does not own the coins since they essentially become claimable by anyone due to the compatibility issues.

So, Stake never owned those coins. I don't know why there would even be any confusion if you agree that Stake site clearly stated BTC (along with the warning messages) on the deposit window after the refresh.
248  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [CLOSED] on: March 08, 2020, 09:30:16 PM
Did you guys create a thread just to say your campaign is closed?

Well it's not accepting participants but it is still running.

Would have been no reason to open any new threads if mods didn't close our years-old threads over a rule that wasn't enforced.

EDIT: As someone suggested we'll change it from closed to not accepting new participants to avoid confusion.
249  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [CLOSED] on: March 08, 2020, 09:07:28 PM
I manage this campaign.
Information about participants payment rate is missing on your thread. Maybe you forgot to include that section here.

It won't be relevant until we need more participants.
250  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [CLOSED] on: March 08, 2020, 06:42:47 PM
I manage this campaign.

However, we only made a new post because old thread got closed.

We're closed for new participants!
251  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 07, 2020, 11:49:26 AM
Was surprised to see this thread initially since I know your site is pretty popular since the last couple of years op.

I think you should state the reason and plea this case on Meta board, at least hear the side of your story to open it again or you may PM one of the mods assigned here on Gambling board. If it has never been enforced then there's really a chance the thread will be unlocked just take one or both of my suggestion above. Mods has rules to be followed but they'll surely understand if one of you approach for revival of it rather letting it slip or making a new thread.
I don't think they would have created a new thread without trying whatever you suggested earlier. They probably tried contacting them and the mods might have informed them that they cannot resolve this issue for them due to which they went to the trouble of creating a new thread instead.

The issue is that nobody has replied to us at all. Haven't tried META board yet though.
252  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 05, 2020, 09:45:56 PM
This replaces the old thread which was locked... and seemingly not going to get opened again for some reason.

EDIT: If anyone knows if the mods open those locked threads, do let us know. Feels silly to lose a 200-page thread because someone reported a thread for a rule that wasn't enforced... lol

What rule did you supposedly break?

We forgot to remove a rule that stated users should make a post weekly on the BitDice thread. However our campaign participants have remained largely the same and everyone has been aware that the rule isn't active.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 05, 2020, 09:00:19 PM
That's really odd, I thought it was you guys that locked it. Really does seem silly.

Nah, we didn't. We had an old signature campaign rule we forgot to remove from the thread so OP was banned for 2 weeks and our threads locked. It sucks.

255  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: February 27, 2020, 10:39:05 PM
Bitdice announced that it will use a part of the 25% of the collected ICO funds for

"Aquiring necessary licenses to be able to operate with fiat currencies as a traditional gambling entity across as many regions as possible."

Since when does Bitdice operate with fiat currencies?

They do not accept fiat.

You removed your previous post and posted again because? Pretty ridiculous in my opinion...

Anyway, we haven't claimed we accept fiat and neither has the 25% that was dedicated for that and other business expansion been depleted yet so I don't know what kind of a point you are trying to make.

You're pretty pathetic to be honest, trying to just get attention by posting again when you don't get any responses lol.

Edit: To add, BitDice is actually well within budget regarding business expansion despite the image joksim is trying (and failing) to build.

Deposited CSNO tokens to the casino and days after deposit still not processed :S

Is this still going or is it a dead project?? :S

There's no CSNO deposits to your deposit address (I saw you talking in the chat). Are you sure you sent to the correct address?

There has also been a fake Firefox addon that has been stealing peoples money by changing deposit addresses so please make sure you are not using any browser extension or addon for bitdice.

PS. Please contact us using the support chat to provide information
257  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: February 21, 2020, 12:32:33 PM
I believe Joksim's claim relies on 3 key points he has been trying to make.

1) CSNO Token has lost value

Okay, the token has lost value, true but he is taking his numbers from sources that aren't reliable. BitDice does not reach high trading volumes and thus any estimation given by Etherscan is likely to be wrong. Secondly as it was stated, BitDice buys tokens back from those who wish to sell them at a relatively good price atleast comparing to the estimations Joksim has been making.

2) The money that was invested has been "wasted" or some of it has disappeared

As my last reply states, much of the assumptions that have been made by people have not been thought through and are simply speculation and the money is still there.

3) BitDice has not been delivering its promises

This is probably the most notable one as it's clear BitDice hasn't yet been able to deliver many of the initial promises that have been made. We have addressed that fact and have also stated that the new website is in the final stage of development. In other words, promises have been delayed a lot which is not something we're hiding. But we're working on delivering on those promises.

Joksim is trying to make a case about how the money that has already been spent has gone into vain which he keeps repeating. One doesn't have to look farther than the quarterly reports to see what the money has been spent on. The expenses haven't been directed at something specific only but on the entire project. I don't understand half of the gimmicks it takes to run a casino let alone something that aims to serve fiat users. I am fairly sure Joksim doesn't understand exactly how complex everything is to set up either.

So to simplify: the money that has been spent has not gone into nothing. It's an ongoing progress and despite seemingly static, it is definitely not.

We've been trying to explain that the promises that have yet to be delivered are going to be delivered despite the long delays.

Now my conclusion about this scam accusation is that its aim is to make BitDice lose its reputation. Question is: what's the gain from this?

1. Purchase them at ICO price or above then it is fine. ( You buy them at -60% of ICO price while you intentionally do not use any moethods to bring wagering/new players on the site)
2. Yes you did waste (see your statement) over 30,000$ per quarter for legal fess to implement fiat while you didn't even open bank account. (Fiat should have been implemented already 2 years ago, you should have informed yourself before promising something in  ICO)
3. How it was easy back then for you to LIE investors that you can and know how to implement those features in agreed time frame.

You're just making assumptions about intentions, expenses etc. The delays have already been admitted and are being worked on but it's clearly pointless to argue with you.

I will not be answering your further replies because you're bringing absolutely nothing new to the table.
258  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: February 20, 2020, 06:48:32 PM
^ If that is "confirming" in your mind, then I doubt arguing with you makes sense because you clearly do not understand.

Either way,

Here is what was collected in the ICO:

EDIT:

Here are the cryptocurrency prices after the ICO:

BTC price: $3231.8
ETH price: $222.56
IOTA price: $0.44717
LTC price: $45.1
DOGE price: $0.0009

Here is what the balance sheet was after the ICO after some coins were sold for USD:

Here is the latest balance sheet containing specifics of crypto holdings (Q1 2019 report):

In Q3 2019 the balance sheet totalled to amount USD 9 082 396 (this was after the crypto decline).

Q4 2019 report which will be released soon will show the latest information.

As you can see. your numbers are wrong, game-protect.
259  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: February 20, 2020, 06:26:01 PM
@ BoXXoB

1) You confirmed that BTC worth USD 3,233,000 were collected during the ICO

2) At that time the BTC price was USD 1,000

3) USD 3,232,000 divided with USD 1,000 per BTC = 3,232 Bitcoins collected

4) 65% of the collected 3,232 BTC are kept until today = 2,100 Bitcoins kept

2,100 Bitcoins are currently worth USD 21 million!

You are not able to show where are the kept 2,100 Bitcoins?

I denied everything you said because your numbers are wrong and you're saying I confirmed it? Get out of here troll.
260  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: February 20, 2020, 06:04:49 PM
1) BitDice did not raise 3232 BTC which I've been trying to say in atleast 3 replies by now. Joksim meant USD values of cryptocurrencies in his post. If you think really carefully, do you think BitDice raised 0.00009 Doge. Because by your logic, that's what Joksim's post would mean.
I understood now that BTC worth USD 3,232,000 were collected during the ICO sale.

But at that time the BTC price was USD 1,000 and USD 3,232,000 divided with USD 1,000 per BTC = 3,232 Bitcoins collected

Please show where are the 2,100 kept BTC? (65% of the 3,232 collected Bitcoins = 2,100 kept BTC)

You still did not understand. I'm not going to explain anything again.

EDIT: You've gotten pretty much everything wrong despite my replies
