Congratulations CryptoNote friends!

I think the meaning of this Tweet is obvious:

https://twitter.com/cryptsy/status/631672049631629312

@BBRcurrency We will be listing at least one CryptoNote coin this week. 2.0 integrations in general have been slow for us. But not anymore

"We will be listing at least one CryptoNote coin this week" surely must mean Monero

Please thank me for sharing the news by following my Twitter account.

Not to be negative, but after the internet journalist from whatever bogus site spoke out regarding sketchy activity and forced articles I wouldn't be surprised to see BCN listed there after supplying a fat consideration bonus.
They were in #monero-dev asking questions yesterday so seems more likely that it's monero getting added:

Buy, you will never get a better deal!!!

Sell, monero is doomed

247  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling BTC 0.545 for €140.92. Skrill/PayPal [ESCROW] on: July 22, 2015, 10:03:25 PM
For the record I did two trades with BitNow using https://bit2factor.com/ as escrow. He first recommended an italian version of it, which I didn't really trust since I can't read Italian. So I did some research and found bit2factor. It's really cool, even if you don't intend to trade, check it out. Download the source code and run it on your computer, don't use the website.

I can't vouch for the source code itself, but I didn't find anything indicating scam based on my research AND I did two trades with BitNow successfully. He sent the BTC first into the escrow address, then I transferred the PayPal Funds, then he sent me the encryption key. It really is a very awesome way to do deals without third parties and I'll definitively use this in the future. Play around with it, see what you think.

If he already has the key to the wallet, how exactly is that escrow?
He has the encrypted key, it's useless for him without the password, which only I hold.

1. I generate "Intermediate Code" using a password of mine
2. I send him the Intermediate Code
3. He generates public address and encrypted address + confirmation key using the Intermediate Code
4. He sends me confirmation key
5. I enter my password and confirmation key and is given the public address
6. I confirm with him that we both have the same public address
7. He sends money to the public address
8. At this point, the BTC is in the public address, he has the encrypted private key, I have the password to decrypt the private key. At this point, nobody has access to his BTC. I then transfer my paypal to him
9. He sends me the encrypted private key.
10. I decrypt the key using my password and transfer the BTC to my own wallet.

[ trolling of poor quality ]

Ooh, I wanna play 'feed the silly troll' too!

Not one of my better posts admitedly. Too much use of the word bitching. I will re-phrase:

My problem with XMR is that you have not innovated tech and have no GUI wallet, and yet you satisfy yourselves by bashing Bytecoin and present yourselves as the only option when your scam assertions (while intriguing) remain unproven and Bytecoin continue to push development faster than you. If BCN continue to push development faster than you this will become increasingly embarrasing for Monero and your cries of "premine!" will, for better or worse, fall on deaf ears. Bytecoin have a very slick product which is about to get slicker. You're not out of the woodin yet.

I'd argue that there is a major difference with incentives here. If you're going to work for free, where are you most likely to spend your time? In a company where you own 82% of the stocks, or in a company where you own maybe 0.1%?

Monero devs has to compete for the coins like everybody else. It's only natural that they can't spend as much time working for free as someone who, with roughly 82% premine, benefit massively from even minor price increases.

I have .35BTC selling for $113....interested?
If you can come down on the price I may be. Otherwise the % is too high. (113/0.35=$322.85/btc, 322.85/291 = 11%). PM me your best offer.
253  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC for 4000 PayPal USD on: July 13, 2015, 10:35:27 PM
sent you a pm regarding a .35 BTC trade, bit over 100$ on bitstamp values.
Replied. Just did a trade with DoubleTrouble, now there is only $405 left. If deal with subSTRATA goes through it will be ~$300 left.

edit: Did trade with subSTRATA, now only $300 $553 left

258  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC for 4000 PayPal USD on: July 09, 2015, 04:38:12 PM
Do you accept PayPal in Euro?
If I can send you PayPal EUR? I don't see why not, depends on the fees you are offering and what it costs to exchange USD to EUR.

I'm currently selling at the price:

I have 5.3 BTCs available to sell.

Fees for exchanging USD to EUR and PayPal fees are not included (those are on you).

Best regards.
Trade for €848.54 EUR worth of BTC completed. Thank you!

Now only $2560 left.
