241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: June 23, 2017, 12:45:33 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

It is an investment option for me, before bitcoin I played the stock market game and invested in gold. After losing countless hours sweating about my stocks, I finally realised it isn't worth it, from then on I started to buy bitcoin whenever it dropped and started holding it
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: June 23, 2017, 12:42:16 AM
I would like to start a discussion about the future of Bitcoin.
The following is my prognosis
The future of Bitcoin
After vears of trying to break the blockchain technology that runs Bitcoin, the bankers and governements finally realized that because blockchiain was a public ledger that kept all transaction and that this ledger could not be hacked or falsified; Bitcoin could not be stopped or blocked. Like email, and i-porn, it used the internet highway and without destroying the internet and its highways of communication, the blockchain technology could not be blocked.

The banks and governments decided on another plan called “f you can`t beat them, join them”. They decided that their only chance was to buy up all the Bitcoins. They started small and encouraged Bitcoin`s price to drop by demanding regulation, not realizing that the blockchain is just a public ledger that can not be regulated. The threat of regulation caused the price of Bitcoin to drop, and when the banks and government thought that the price of Bitcoin would not go any lower, they started to buy up Bitcoins. When people realized that the banks and governments were buying up the Bitcoins, the price of Bitcoins soared in an avalanche. This made banks and governments very rich.

Bitcoin became to be used as electronic money that could not be falsified or tampered with and that could be used as electronic cash replacing coins and notes. The banks and governments started to encourage the use of Bitcoin and replaced their coins and notes with Bitcoins. Then they replaced their plastic credit cards with chips that were implanted and that allowed money transactions to be made much faster and conveniently than with Bitcoin. They made their own centralized and regulated version of Bitcoin and called it i-coin.

After i-coin became convincingly more appealing than Bitcoin, i-coin became widely accepted. Bitcoin became outdated and old fashioned and the price of Bitcoin started to drop. Then there came a time where the only ones that were using Bitcoins were the ones that were afraid of the chip implants, and those that were afraid of the corrupt banks.
Then the corrupt criminals got on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and Bitcoins started to be outlawed in many countries. The decentralized Bitcoin miners - the keepers of the public ledger - became scarcer and scarcer and were overtaken by centralized criminal miners.

Bitcoin became what it started out as-. electronic cash for buying illegal goods. Eventually, the criminals took it over to use as their own black cash for trading one illegal good for another. This caused a boom in illegal goods, and made the criminals very wealthy.

I don't think that bitcoin will last forever or even for 20 more years. Bitcoin is getting old now and there are new cyrpotcurriences avaliabe, soon bitcoin will be overtaken by other newer cyrpotcurriences will not as much problems as bitcoin. Unless a goverment decides to fund it and improve bitcoin, I can imagine bitcoin starting to slowly die after 20 years.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: June 23, 2017, 12:36:13 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

It is not a bad idea the only big problem about it is, who will fund it. We do not even know who made bitcoin, so who would fork over thousands of dollars in advertising just to promote something that isn't even theirs. It would be helpful though and attract a lot of media and people's attention
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2017, 12:34:28 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a great investment option, an easy to use online currency and anyone can use it if they have an online wallet and an internet connection. It is a good way to store money and a way better alternative to gold. A lot of people also you it for trading and gambling
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 23, 2017, 12:32:11 AM
I am living in a still-considered as a third world country which kinda suit me because the standard of living here is still low and we can easily afford all the necessities of life and even some luxuries here and there. Money here goes a long, long way at least compared to developed countries like USA or Japan for that matter.

It is then good to retire here most especially if you have the money in your purse. Now, I am planning to set aide even just 1 Bitcoin as part of my retirement plan...of course it is just part of the mix as I am also into cacao/mango/coconut farming which can also serve me well when I am retired.

Do you think 1 Bitcoin can be good for retirement...let's say 20 years from now?

Yeah, sure that's not a bad idea, just don't invest a lot in bitcoin since that would be incredibly risky especially considering it is your retirement funds. I would recommend buying up to 5 bitcoins and then just leave it alone. If it rises in value for the next 10 to 20 years, your retirement fund could be very big. It is also a good idea to diversify your portfolio

247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why most terrorist are Muslim? on: June 22, 2017, 10:52:24 AM
I am also quite interested in why most of them are Muslims. A lot of them get radicalized and then go on to do things like bombings and shootings. It puts a really bad stigma around Muslims are not all of them are terrorists. But that is the stereotype we have of them now.
248  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do with most of your day? on: June 22, 2017, 10:49:35 AM
I work for about 8-9 hours a day. So that basically takes up most of my time. The rest of the time I have, I usually spend on this forum or playing some online games with my friends
249  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you hold BTC? on: June 22, 2017, 10:48:29 AM
I am definitely holding Bitcoin. I am also trading and earning more Bitcoin. The price is just constantly rising and if you don't have Bitcoin, you are really missing out.

Hello everyone!

Payments will be processed today.

And we add acceptant process, so users should apply participation and will not be added automatically.
So moderation will be more detailed.

Great to see that the payments are still being processed on time. Smiley Is this campaign going to go on for more than a month or will it stop? Also, is this campaign now open for new users?

Also, I am a senior member now, can you please update that for me. I have ranked up from full member.
251  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does anyone have a cure for gaming addiction?! on: June 22, 2017, 07:36:37 AM
There is really no way that you can cure your gambling addiction with some kind of medicine. You just need to get some self awareness are stop gaming.
252  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Laptop/ computer for crypto? on: June 22, 2017, 07:34:02 AM
Buying a laptop is one of the worst things you can do unless you really, really want it. Just build a PC and you will save a lot of money.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What functions would you add to the existed bitcoin cards? on: June 22, 2017, 06:51:03 AM
I would remove the monthly fee that you get on most Bitcoin debit cards. Most of them charge a couple of dollars a month to each person with money in their cards. It is pretty annoying as I normally deposit more into my Bitcoin card than I actually need. So that extra bit normally just gets take by the website. Most card sites also have really crappy exchange rates but I guess that is one of the only ways they can make money.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 22, 2017, 06:48:54 AM
For exemple, I go to a coffee shop, I buy a coffee, then I pay with Bitcoin, we have to wait for a confirmation, no? or the merchant will just trust me if I show my wallet?
How can we be sure that it's not a double spent transaction or something else?
It really depends where you go and if you are online, what website you go on. I don't have many shops around me that accept Bitcoin, but online, there are many places that are fine with the transaction not being confirmed. If you use those sites, you should be fine.
255  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's my birthday today and I want this from you on: June 22, 2017, 06:06:18 AM
Happy birthday bro!

My best lesson would have to be that nothing in this world is free. I am quite young and most people around me want to earn money but they are like, I'm not bothered to do that. You have to work really hard for anything you want in life.
256  Economy / Services / Re: 0.015 BTC for a copy/paste job on: June 22, 2017, 06:03:42 AM
You are someone with a lot of time to spent? you are not scared to see a 600 lines divided text to copy and paste many times? you are online often? then this job is for you.
Contact me by sending your skype, first come first serve.

I am interested and I am shooting a PM my Skype ID to you please share a details. Thank you cheers.
This is clearly a scam. How can someone be so rich that they are willing to give away 40 bucks just for a small copy and paste job. Be aware.
257  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever had a dream about cryptocurrencies? on: June 20, 2017, 09:23:26 PM
I had a dream about ethereum just the other day. I dreamt that I bought a ton of them at 10 dollars and was just about to sell them at 300 dollars when I woke up.
258  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best movies you have watched in 2017? on: June 19, 2017, 03:19:12 AM
I haven't really watched any movies this year. I am not really a fan of those huge, hyped up movies as most of the time I get let down when it actually comes out. The one movie that I actually really liked this year was John Wick 2. Absolutely brilliant movie.
259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Find Cats annoying? (Almost killed mine) on: June 19, 2017, 03:15:34 AM
I don't find them annoying. However, they aren't my favorite animals and dogs are a lot better. Although, my favorite pets have to be hamsters or small fluffy animals. They are the best.
260  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Steam Wallet Codes , Amazon Balance , Giftcard on: June 15, 2017, 10:14:35 AM
why you create a new thread when last person call you a scammer
because he is only accusing me.
If he is only accusing you and doesn't have any evidence, the accusation doesn't mean anything. There was no need to create a new thread.
it is not problem for me but every sellers asks for this and i am explaining it on every trade thats why i open a new thread.
Then just make a post in the OP so that people will know and stop asking you.

https://prnt.sc/fjmmcc

Dont deal with him, please he just keeps creating new threads
That shows us absolutely nothing. All that is, is messages you received from dragoz which shows he was late in payment. Where is the part about him scamming you?
