it feels possible that alot of them will die out , feels like its way to many that are used for nothing , not realy understanding the use case for 99% of them, feels they are just get rich schemes with no real substance.

Yes still waiting for it to start increasing their value in the market just like the year of 2017 that many investors gets their profits on their invested currency. And I think holding our investments this year is the best thing to do and to make sure that our loses in the past year will recover from the coming months in this year of 2019.
looks like we are looking at a 2 year bear market i dont have much faith in 2019 changing the price that much on the upside. |

I see more and more people are starting to doubt Bitcoin because the price doesn't go up in this new year. Honestly, I am always optimistic and continue to wait for the increase even I know that the price increase cannot be timed. So what and what should I do now?

lol....this is what I have been talking about last week. It seems majority of us knew this incoming. Why would you try to entertain someone who's trying to kill Bitcoin if you're a Bitcoin beneficiary. Now the story gets scarier for everyone. We had so many ups and downs but we are still around and looking forward to making it happen once again as it has always been. But amidst fhe turbulence that occurred there's still one thing I'm happy for, and that's some "psychopaths" failed their mission.
We all thought we had reach a bottom around 6K until some few people decided to ruin everything for all of us. Gladly, their mission failed (well, for now) and I'm really happy for that. I hope the same happens to anyone who tries to ruin Bitcoin's price furthermore.
Now Bitmain has layed off workers, boycotted plans to launch a subsidiary at a new country and having leadership troubles and oh, people aren't purchasing their mining rigs as before. Their best solution was to help find a way to pump Bitcoin but they ruined it.
If you have a product, start something and don't try to kill Bitcoin because ultimately you'll end up with undervalued coins.

I’m starting to worry about coinmarketcap lately, after series of deceit and spammish activity
The following are my observed reasons
1. Many dead projects still on cmc
2. Market cap is fake Cox many projects which have seized to trade adds up to the market cap
3. Cmc doesn't verify authenticity of projects before listing it
4. CMC now have ads of fake icos on their website thereby leading people to scammers
Funny enough so many NOOBS believe anything and everything dey see on cmc to be authentic
Let me stop here and anyone against it should bring a proof to counter it

im staying out of the market right now, feels like it will go like 50% more down before we turn to the upside again hope im wrong becuse i realy want it to go back up again. still hold alot of coins but im not buying more right now been trying to buy at the bottom for the whole year , but it keeps on moving down all the time.

It literally wont at this time - that much can be said with a large amount of certainity. Unless there is some fake pump which manipulates the market there wont be any rise by this year end. While this seems pessimistic but its from the analysis that the charts are showing at the moment. While a bull run might happen later next year the next ETF date on February is the date to look out for and for a small pump before the news hits which generally happens. It is a part of the rise and fall cycle. You people should gain resistance towards these effects. It looks like that the price is being manipulated by whales because the recent dumps are just happened without any reason. So if the price is manipulated, its just to shake out weak hands and then I think there will be an unexpected time of bullrun too. feel its oversold thanks to fear and stock market also crashing , but think crypto will recover pretty soon |

According to my perception, the bull run will be there at the end of this year.Anything can't go up up up it needs to come down (that's called correction) similarly anything can't go down down down it needs to come up (reversal)!!
In 2017, we did not have the capacity to sustain the bull run longer because the existing exchanges could not handle the volume of new investors trying to enter the market.
I do understand that it was still overbought and a correction was inevitable. The market had almost no structure. Now with all the new infrastructure being put in place should eliminate most of that problem. In the meantime, market will continue to do what it has been doing.
It’s just a tough phase that cryptocurrency market is going through right now. But in the near future one can expect bitcoin’s price to rise.
Bitcoin has always repeated history. It had always come back. so hope for the best.

I mortgaged my house to buy $300,000 of ETH at 800. I dod not tell her. This house was paid off in full. Now I cant make the mortgage payments with my job. I cant even sell the ETH easily because I live in NH. Should i keep holding? Tired of making excuses about wherr all the money is going. I guess I'm what you call a loser. Thanks everyone.
sometime the gamble pays of sometimes it does not. but you cant be lying to your wife shes going to find out sooner or later and never trust you again. better to come clean and atleast be a honest loser than an lying one  |
