A big big no! You were fooled by news and all media reports out there.
Fooled? Are you suggesting all these bombings, shootings and lorry rampages have been fabricated by the media?

You talking about how we are currently and for the last 20 years if not more, bombing shooting and destroying entire Muslim nations around the world but the media don't say a word about it?

And you wonder why they're coming to kill some of us?

Are you even aware that we killed more Muslims in just the last month of Syrian war than they did with all terrorist attacks on Western World in the last 5 years?
242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: January 11, 2017, 08:57:58 PM
Wikipedia shouldn't be considered as something reliable clearly , Unlike Bible and the other books , the quran have only one version and didn't change since 1400 years so this is a reliable source instead of reading articles by people who probably don't know anything about the subject.

If we also think logically , saying that Islam is a religion of hate and there are more then 1.7 billion muslim out there , shouldn't you and me (and everyone else) be dead by now ?

That is the root cause of the problem.  Islam ideology is locked in the 6th century thinking.

Are you saying that a ideology created before cars, trucks, firearms, and gunpowder might possibly have problems once there were car bombs and machine guns?

Religions in general are ridiculous in the modern world.

This particular religion with its Sharia Law has not changed since the 6th century. I don't mind when people believe in some fairy Allah type of character.  I have a problem when they say that stoning women is ok because they don't like you.   Throwing gays off the building tops or burning people alive because they disagree with you etc.  Such 'legal punishments' have no place in the 21st century, and I
don't care that the character from their holy book came up with it (that is a batshit crazy idea in itself).

Christians don't burn people alive anymore, so Muslims can do the same.  Stop the insanity.

Remove the fucking Sharia Law from this ideology.
Make your Allah more like a 21st century political activist, not a 6th century goat herder.

Christians NO LONGER burn people alive?
Christians did much worse than what some Muslims are doing currently. But Islam is a religion 600 years younger than Catholicism.
Wanna know what we were doing 600 years ago?
That's right. Spanish inquisition.
So don't act like they're more barbaric than we have ever been k?
243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: January 11, 2017, 08:55:19 PM
Very good comments, but at this moment I will only comment on the bolded.  Completely, totally reject this assertion.

We are more observers of the behavior of Islamics than anything else.  We don't need to read their old books to study their behavior in the world.

And for starters as to "sources," how about we try Wikipedia?

Oh you're the one always talking about logical fallacies no?
Ok let's go.

https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/strawman
Clearly he says that if you question the Islam religion you should begin by studying the Islam holy book. You're misleading everyone by answering about studying Islamic people behaviour while it was neither your question nor his arguments. You're basically answering another question than the thread you started is about while considering another answer than the one he stated, congrats that's a combo strawman.

https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/the-texas-sharpshooter
https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/anecdotal
Congrats another combo.
You're both trying to answer while making an monstrous generalization saying that you observe the behavior of Islamics which is false, you observe the anecdotic events given out by the media. Not like you took into account the behaviour of all Islamics did you?

Oh and I won't even talk about you chose to ignore 80% of his post of course xD
244  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's Next Direction 2017 Predictions on: January 11, 2017, 08:43:29 PM
I don't think it will take a run at $1500 very soon. Maybe towards the second half of the year. I expect range trading to last a while.

Not even sure it will happen, or at least this year. Even In the second half.

I don't really understand the price movement I have to say. There was such a great pump at the begining...
And now it's like no one wants to buy bitcoin Cry
Well as long as we don't go under the 550 I guess it's alright. After all it was the price we had just a few months ago and it was clearly a stable one. Let's pray we don't go even under though...

The lower it goes, the more likely it is that it continues to trend lower. All the people who bought in in the last two weeks are now sitting on huge losses (30ish percent in under 2 weeks). That's going to make them very nervous while the price is showing no signs of stabilizing. Momentum works both ways. On the way up, everyone feels like they are missing out on easy profit, and pile in driving the price ever higher. On the way down, no one knows where the bottom is, and people want to protect profits they may have or stop losses they've already suffered, and the added selling pressure pushes down the price farther. The last time we were over $1000 was 2013. It took 3 years to get back there. There's no guarantee it will again.
Even if I understand rather well what you're saying and why it's logical, you're not reassuring me at all xD
Well fact is that it's not really similar to 2013 crash is it?
As far as I remember the 2013 crash was far stronger! And it had an explanation: lots of people knowing nothing or nearly nothing about btc and trying to buy some without understanding the risks. But here I don't think it's the case again because btc isn't especially talked about in the media.
245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can terrorism be stopped on: January 11, 2017, 08:36:59 PM
Explaining wrongly.

Because you are leaving out the part about Team <insertcountryhere>: World Police, aren't you?

Let's start by being honest.

FTFY.

Religions are no more bent on world domination than various governments around the world.  Just because governments go about it in slightly more covert fashion, doesn't make it any less insidious.  Bottom line is human beings are basically cavemen, whether it be a religious or a national flag they wave while they're fucking the world up.  Some members of their religion hate your country, some members of your country hate their religion, so feel free to keep killing each other over it, but don't make out like they're any worse than you are.  You're just two sides of the same shit-smeared coin.  The death cycle continues until you both stop being dumb.

It's hard to have a logical debate with Spendulus because of his bad faith, and if you manage to corner him showing a blatant error or lie he just stops answering then goes on like nothing happens ^^

I just love how for him Islam is bent on world domination but that USA attacked first and destroyed entire countries killing thousands of civilians is okay. It's not being bent on world domination it's just doing what is right of course. And it is in no way the cause of the wave of terrorism we have. No link whatsoever.
246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can terrorism be stopped on: January 11, 2017, 08:34:33 PM
It's peculiar how most people propose more aggression, when aggression will likely just create more terrorists.
I agree this is simply unbelievable. It's like humans don't understand anything to history, like war ever managed to get rid of terrorism...

Quote
I'm with those who believe there should be less meddling in the affairs of other countries.  Restricting access and movement is just nursing the symptoms rather than tackling the cause.  It might limit terrorism, but it won't stop it.  The root cause is nations serving their petty national interests by interfering in other nations.  Propping up despots, political assassinations, regime change, arms dealing, colonialism, politically motivated sanctions.
Thank you for having a brain. It's like all those people don't even realise everytime a terrorist blow himself up killing 30 people here, we have already politically destroyed his country, bombed his cities and put dictators at the head of his government while selling weapons to the terrorist group supporting him. Not excusing the terrorist but explaining where the problem comes from....

Explaining wrongly.

Because you are leaving out the part about Islam bent on world domination, aren't you?

Let's start by being honest.

Lol, reasoning wrong.

Because you are leaving out the part about every human being intelligent enough to be a bit more than mere pawn of a completely crazy dogma and religion, UNLESS they're striken by poverty, hunger, fear, war and destruction of both their country, their family and their institution. Exactly like the crusades of Urbain II where thousands of crazy peasants went to die attacking the arabs in suicidal attacks. Just because they were desperate, poor and without any education.

Let's start by being honest.
247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Investing in Cloud Mining Still Profitable ?? on: January 11, 2017, 08:31:22 PM

if 2 years before just only break-even, thats worst, as 2years ago the bitcoin price is low. They recently expand farm so u need to considered that
your profit will be shorten as they use for expand.
I got seen comment in fb that ppl complaint about their years contract no profit then contract expired.
So they removed the contract period to lifetime contract, but i not so confidence v them.

Yeah that's the idea.
THe fact is that you can't break even with only 1 year, they just pay too low for that! Even with nice promotion and whatever you want. But the problem with their lifetime contract is that you have to understand it's not so different from a 1 year contract. Not because they'll scam you after 1 year but just because after 1 year of constant difficulty increase your mining power will produce nothing... Or said better, your mining contract minus the fee taken by genesis will grant you nothing. Like litteraly, after the year my contract granted me a few thousands of satoshi everyday...

Quote
As first i know cloud mining, GM is the most advertised, but i realized that even seems the most legit one also got ppl complaint about the service.
So i invest another company indeed ><
For ROI only, cloud mining not the best then got more risk due to time.
If like that, the profit cant be detailed in GM, lesser than they promise.

And the worst is that YOU take all the risks while THEY take all the benefits.
You litterally give them 500$ so they can buy a miner and return you only whatever they feel like. Without any contractual obligation...

No you don't? Even if I talk about the "magic bullet"?
Or how a common guy managed to fire faster than an actual professional sniper and with higher precision?

Just remember, Trump is aware of this, and will take precautions. In addition, if Trump covertly pits the 3 big "spy" agencies - CIA, NSA, FBI - against each other in shrewd ways, they will be too busy fighting each other to mess with him.

Cool

Well you indeed have a high trust in him.
I don't think it will happen. In fact I don't even think that he will try to go against them in the first place...
And I don't see how you can take precautions against them :/

There is a map in another post, that shows that most Americans are in favor of Trum way more than Hillary. In fact, it is amazing that Hillary was even a threat.

The point? Among those in favor of Trump, are thousands who will wipe out any CIA people who Trump asks them to. An additional point? There are many CIA people who are in favor of Trump, and will defy their own CIA leaders to do what is right.

Cool

Loooooooooooooooooool
Ok here you see you make 2 major mistakes.
1/You believe that Trump is some kind of hero, who wants to change the whole country for the greater good for the people. When he's just an asshole business who wants to get as much power and money as he can from his position.
2/ You believe that people have the same blind trust that you do in him just because they don't like Hillary. But Hillary is nothing and no one. She's just the living proof of the in-depth manipulation of the system that's all. It's not because people hates Hillary that they love Trump.
250  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis-Mining Review on: January 11, 2017, 05:57:07 PM
Genesis Mining is a very sophisticated scam.

It s not a scam in a classic way where they will run away with your money, no, they re 100% legit and they will provide everything they state.

The only problem is one cannot make money, their products re simply that bad. How is it possible to stay in the market when one sells this bad product? Well, they ve grown so much on noob money they actually do not need cloud service at all anymore.

By investing here all u do is provide them an interest free loan for them to expand their farms and that s all.

Yeah and that's if you manage to break even, which is far from being sure...

But to be fair, I'm not sure it's specific to Genesis.
For me cloud mining is a complete nonsense in itself. Mining is barely profitable in itself so how could cloud mining be profitable??
251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Investing in Cloud Mining Still Profitable ?? on: January 11, 2017, 05:52:32 PM
Hello everyone,

I want to invest in Genesis-Mining, I want to buy 15 TH/s (power of Bitmain S9)
can anyone give me details of my profit from this ?

Regards,

Bitcoin Boy.

No one can't answer your question.
Because answering your question would mean to accept it. And fact is that your question is wrong. Cloud mining has never been profitable.

Your profit will be easy: go to mining site calculation, imagine you get only half of it at best. That's all.
I bought a contract of genesis 2 years ago. It is indeed liftime, no scam from here.
But in 2 years you'll barely break even... If btc doesn't go down too much...
Cloud mining is a useless scam in itself!

-snip-

Well fact is that you wouldn't really manage to do anything new with that...
You can't copy past the original code because code is a an intellectual production protected by intellectual rights. But you can largely inspire yourself from it without any problem.

Inspire yourself from this site: https://search.lilo.org/
The idea is that you win not money but points, with which you make donations to associations.
So giving out satoshis might not be the best because you actually see that you don't earn much...

But the most important would be to get the results directly from Google, because you need an excellent one.

I mean, don't take it personally, your site is cool really. The design is smooth even if the colours are... A bit special. I wouldn't have chosen this one at least ^^
But the fact is that I don't understand why so many lottery sites are currently popping everywhere!
And they're all exactly the same, they're all from the same idea and don't propose anything new.

Don't take accounts as collateral. They will be tagged.
Forum policy is clearly leaning toward not allowing multiple accounts and selling of accounts.
Not that it's forbidden but it's just that members on DT list want to stop accounts traffic.
WTF ? what are you saying?

I'm saying that numerous members, including Lauda and Luptin if I remember well, are against selling accounts. So they tag in red every account that get sold.
And a negative rated account is worth nothing or close to nothing.
That's true.

But what is bothering me a lot is that you just started making constructive posts 2 months ago, everything else wasn't constructive by any standards. No one would be interested in purchasing this account if this gets sold in the future, not much assurance for the lender.
But my account is not for sale so I believe I won't get any negative trust.
It will be, if you default. You would probably get tagged if you default it and the lender would lose out.

That is, without factoring in your sub-par post history. The lender would be left with a worthless account if you default.

Lets look at my investigation shall we? (This is just for reference, it isn't a concrete evidence).
You changed your password on November 15, 2016, 11:08:02 PM.
You started filling your posts with long sentences on November 18, 2016.
You decided to stake an address on November 22, 2016.
You edited a post that contains your address on 20 November: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1602397.msg16589200#msg16589200.

I understand how awesome the signature campaign can be so I decide to make a few change in my post quality. I changed my password because I think it would make my account more secure. I am using facebook and I always change my password every two months and I find it is useful to me. Since Bitcointalk does not have phone verification for every login, I think changing password and making a stake address will prevent hackers from stealing my account.

As ranochigo said, all this is just for the debate, nobody is accusing you of anything saying all those informations are concrete evidences.
Fact is that it's possible that you actually did all that for very good reason. And no one is banning you or whatever like this.
But you're asking for a loan, which means that someone would have to engage his money on how much he trusts you... And the problem here is that all what you did might be for excellent reasons but it's not really building trust. There would also be a serious possibility of you trying to get a loan and default it as a way of selling your account.
It's like when you go to the bank for a loan, you can go in bicycle without any wages records and with holes in your jeans. Or you can go in a suit with 2 years of solid references. One of the two will get a loan, the other will only get a refusal.
Same thing here. Doesn't matter how right you are, what matters is how strong we can believe you're right.
And same thing for Lauda by the way, he's put a neg trust on you not because he wants to accuse you of scamming or something like that. Just because he doesn't believe you can be trusted enough to get a loan. And fact is that Lauda's opinion weights here (especially as a DT member).

But if you close your loan thread and politely ask Lauda he might think about removing his trust rating and you might continue to enjoy the forum as a normal user (see how I bold the "might" ^^)
If that's what you want of course.

Best analogy ever. That's exactly that, we kill, torture, steal, enslave, bomb, threaten millions of people and then we act like victims when they come here to kill us...

Quote
Terrorism only ends when human beings stop being divisive, hate-filled creatures who would rather infiltrate, steal from, isolate, manipulate or conquer their neighbours than live peacefully with them.  Conflicts were fought hundreds of years ago over things like land, resources, or creed, yet somehow we still do it today, in what we like to pretend is a "modern" or "civilised" age.  Even though we rarely declare these conflicts in formal wars anymore, we do it via stealth and espionage, pulling strings behind the scenes.  It may be more subtle, but it's no less damaging over the long term.  As such we are constantly fighting.  We like to believe we "evolved" from our more primitive ancestors, but in reality, as proven by some of the people in this very thread, we haven't really come that far.  Things like science and technology might improve, but instinctively, some of us are still barbarians at our core.

Short answer, terrorism stops when human beings stop acting like backwards savages.

Exactly. Terrorism is just a symptom, the cause is the incredible greed our countries are showing by destroying attacking and stealing other countries. Terrorism is only a consequence of this disease: us. (us not USA, USA is only one actor, Europe is greatly responsible too).

Thank you for bringing at least a some logic and intelligence here. Sometimes when I read answers like "Why don't they go to Syria or Irak or other neighbour countries those stealer?" I get completely desperate...
But your keen is far too rare around here...

There are many Muslims around the world but only a few are terrorist

I would re-phrase your post a little bit. There are only a few terrorists in the world, but almost all of them are Muslim. And you can't say that they form only a small minority among the Muslim population.

Check this:

http://www.pewglobal.org/2014/07/01/concerns-about-islamic-extremism-on-the-rise-in-middle-east/pg-2014-07-01-islamic-extremism-10/

Hundreds of millions of Muslims around the world support terrorist attacks.

Why don't we kill all the males then?
Because I don't say that all the males are terrorists, but clearly all the terrorists are male.

Do you see the absurdity of your words now?
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can terrorism be stopped on: January 08, 2017, 02:29:41 PM
This is the way terrorism can be stopped.

I would slightly enlarge the blast radius to include Turkey, Somalia and Pakistan. Perhaps Egypt as well. Although the GCC nations (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait.etc) are the main sponsors of terrorism around the world, Turkey also plays its part.
Sure. Let's all forget who benefits from this terrorism  Roll Eyes

Clearly just destroying this area of the world will be enough to get rid of all our problems.
Well it would also destroy our main benefit from all that: massive natural ressources, numerous low level workers and the contracts our companies get from rebuilding what we destroy.
We win at war: we sell the weapons for the wars and terrorism
We win after the war: We make the countries take loans for the reconstruction of what our bombs destroyed

And your problem is terrorism? xD
