If the team was in a good condition just like Manchester city is, I don't think they will be needing to get a new coach, it appears like a risk working for Manchester united according to your words but then even playing for any team generally is a risk so I don't know how better a risk should be for a footballer or a coach. Zidane is too experienced to think he is going to just fail at Manchester united, I believe he will be able to get Manchester united back on their fir if he's given the job and he accepts it, it's not as risky as you are making it look.
