242  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: November 22, 2019, 05:58:53 PM
for sure stupidity can make traders poor; because trade need skills and intellegence

And this doesn't make any sense.

I mean how are you going to become a trader if you're a stupid, maybe you could call yourself a Trader but you're not really a Trader after all. Trading is indeed about skills and intelligence, analyzing your plan before making it in action, but I think what you were trying to say by "stupid" is when Trader makes mistake, lost their profits and ended up "poor", well it is not stupidity, mistakes are normal when you are trying things out, mistakes is the one that makes Trader more intelligent by risking what they need to risk.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 22, 2019, 05:20:17 PM
I'm not an addicted to gambling, but I could say that I have such discipline in me in which I instantly move away on a thing that's not interesting anymore to me, like when I get bored. For example, I am playing DICE today and after almost 12 hours straight of playing, I already wore out the excitement that I'm feeling on it the first time I play it, therefore the next day, I am going to play another game or I will just probably find gambling boring because of too many losses, and I don't like that.

Most of the time, I will look for another thing to do that is not going to be like gambling or the first thing I've tried and turns out that it doesn't really good at all. I like more things that could give me excitement for a long period of time.

246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 21, 2019, 05:17:21 PM
Holding it even we are in the bull market is a big mistake , there are many people has been experience this lost, becuase they believe that when holding it will increase its value sooner . if you are in profit  already take the profit and leave  dont wait for  dump will happen, its better to have sure earnings than gambling it for just hoping that it will increase more .

I disagree, it is not totally a mistake, it just happens that they are too positive about the bull run, and hopes for even more about it, I will call it a mistake if they have lost their coin because they have send it to the wrong address because of too much excitement on getting their profits, maybe they (also me) missed the chance of selling it to gain profits, but bull run will still come and we will have another chance to do the right thing.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: November 21, 2019, 04:01:41 PM
I have been hodling my altcoins since the previous bullrun and it was hard to be patient when the price is way below than expected. Hopefully the next bullrun would come sooner so I could be rewarded for hodling.
You are cool, can be patient in quite a long time, how many years has it been? if calculated per year 2017 to 2019, you have been holding it for 2 years huh? if it were me, I'd give up and sell it all (cutloss).

it is not cool at all. holding without planning to sell is just wasting your time, you will be late to sell your coin.

Indeed.

Hodling your cryptocurrencies in your portfolio without a plan means you also going to face your future ahead without any profits too, you're running blind and you're just relying on your sense of smell alone, that is not good, however, we can't blame those type of hodlers because they don't have any choice at all, rather than doing panic selling, I guess this is a lot better (depends on the tokens they hodl) for them to have chances to create new opportunities to gain profits when the bull hits the market again.

The problem is we don't know when.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: November 21, 2019, 02:41:33 PM
Ok you are gambling just for fun, your friends and neighbors knows that and a friend invited you to his party to be one of the candidates as a councilor and campaign will start in 6 months, now, of course, you need to have a good reputation, will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign

Are you talking about online gambling or the actual one in casino? if it is the actual one, then you really need to stop for the sake of your career as a politician, and of course for you to get the hearts of the people in your town.

and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.

Denying it would just make thing worst, especially if they have evidence that you are really playing gambling before, what you need to do is to confess the truth and make a promise to the public that you'll change for good, just to clean your mess. It is more better if you're going to win without any secrets, even if you lose, at least you'll going to have your time to do what you promised and run again as a candidate for councilor next election.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 03:17:03 PM
Now, when the bull run comes, I still couldn't sell right away as I was getting greedy thinking I could earn more when I still hold.

Same here, though I only have ATLANT, ETH, and MCO as the top coins that I am expecting me to give me more profits when the bull run came last 2017, it got me hyped where my greediness exceeded my expectations, and I ended up disappointed when 2018 comes, when the prices of all cryptocurrencies started to fall down, I've realized that I should have sell it right away. I also have EDGELESS but I was just a beginner when I had that token, I don't know about the properties of it, that it also go up like bitcoin.

But, cryptocurrency always disappoints us, no, I guess we just don't have enough knowledge to do what we have to do in able to gain profits. If we sell it in instant when the price goes up, it will keep going up, and if we hodl it hoping it would goes up even more, it goes down, it is so confusing, therefore we are always stock in the middle of making decisions whether to sell or hodl.

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.

Yes, don't lose hope, finish what you have started, and you'll eventually get what you wanted someday, in my opinion.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 20, 2019, 01:43:42 PM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
I have a lot of investment in an exchanger and for years I don't withdraw them I even quit cryptocurrency investing in them.

I stan you for this, you got some balls in holding your funds in an exchanger even though it is risky, any exchanger could shutdown anytime if they are not well funded or if their clients are starting to drop down because of their competitors, for me, I recommend not to do that again, well, it is still depends on you but my only concern is your funds, it might be lost forever with the exchange where you put it in, and you'll end up having nothing.

Store it in a trusted wallet app, or in a hardware wallet, for your assurance.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 20, 2019, 12:48:39 PM
Those are the strategy that they are making, they want to look it legit when their purpose is just to scam.

however, I won't agree with you that all crypto are scam because there are still few that survives until now which they get the people's trust and support.
Take it for example, Binance coin, IIRC, they also had an ICO following the same scenario you've mentioned, but where they are now, they have a real used case of their project, their exchange is very popular and we using it now and benefiting from it.
Yes not all crypto are scam, new projects are most likely to become a scam. Saying a good project on day 1 is too risky, you must test the water first for you not to lose big. If the project extended so many times and keep on promising, then its a scam. There’s a lot of established crypto already and to make money with them is very easy so its not a scam not unless you are fooled and be a victim of scammers.

The title is very misleading, I'm going to believe OP and others who agree with him if he said "Most of Altcoin's Projects are scam", because there is only one thing to save cryptocurrency from your judgment, or your conclusion without any solid proof to support your statements;

If all of the cryptocurrencies are scam, why are you guys still here in this forum wearing signature campaign? I mean you could contribute here in this forum without wearing one, but you've chose to wear one. I'd like to hear your opinion about this. Smiley

253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: November 19, 2019, 02:41:24 PM
today I've got $ 200 start with $ 5 yes already withdrawn 2 hours ago
but when you have no other activities, gambling is like continuing to call to try again.

and what do I get after that?
Yesss I lost everything in just minutes  Angry greddy and addict its totally worst !
\

So you learned that gambling is about greedy and addict. That makes you lose the money. Next time, if you win $200, you better leave the place as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will end up losing all the money like what you got before. Maybe you need to learn about controlling yourself so that it will give you a chance to prevent continuing gambling. I am sure you can do that if you have an effort to reduce your time in gambling.

But he did that this time already, or am I missing something?

I think this is an interesting case, when gambler, bobyhodob, did the first move right, he did what many of us here suggest to do when you won big, he withdrawn his winnings right away. So, I think, we can say that bobyhodob has the ability to control his actions, but what failed him was the lack of other interesting activities that could replace gambling, at least during that day.

I'd suggest bobyhodob and others, who have the strength to stop playing after big win and withdraw, to invite someone to a good restaurant right away. Thus you'll have something interesting to do instead of losing your money behind the computer screen.

He already said it
but when you have no other activities, gambling is like continuing to call to try again.

This is the addiction syndrome, it is like our passion's in life, we love to do it amongst other passion that we have in ourselves, because that is what more fun to us and that gives us the satisfaction that we need to forget things that makes us sad, or to have a pastime, and other personal reasons, that is why it is important for all of us to have a social life, and not a shut it where we limit ourselves on doing other things that will not gives us a bad addiction like what gambling does.

I know it is hard to leave the life that you've been used to, but guys, it is all worth it if you will quit gambling and explore the world, it's much prettier and beneficial to us.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lured someone in Gambling? on: November 19, 2019, 12:40:10 PM
First of all, it is your responsibility indeed for what happened to your friend, you've been a bad influenced to him and didn't think what will happen next, actually this is not a "treat" but a "threat" instead, you've put your friend in something that will make his life worst, and yes you just did, I congratulate you (sarcastic voice). Now, I'm certain that your conscience is bothering you always, mostly at night and you're having trouble getting a good sleep.

Now, you do have a problem, curing your friend will be hard for you as well as curing yourself, it would be a lifetime responsibility for you, more if something really worst will happen to your friend such as being murdered because of unpaid debt to someone.

256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: November 19, 2019, 10:19:57 AM
Let's focus on this part of your post

*snips*

now move to bounty gambling to remain earning from the bounty

I find this hard to believe, earning in gambling is not as easy as earning in bounty.

because I saw in this forum bounty gambling still pay well and continue to live

Yes, they do pay well if you are winning, but they take a lot of money from you if you are not.

bounty gambling is an alternative to earning from bounty.

Nope, that's a fvcking dick move, I don't see anyone making money in gambling unless they want to make their lives more miserable by losing money than earning, it is the other way around, always.

And does anyone of you make income to become from the bounties gambling to fulfill your daily life?

Earning in gambling is about 30-40:60, your chances of losing is always higher than the percentage of winning, and it is not an alternative for me, it is a risky choice that you will make just to earn money (good luck on that), try to look for doors that offers more chances of winning, don't push yourself too far in a narrowed door, you're just going to have hard time breathing and going out once you're in the middle or even far from the entrance.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: November 17, 2019, 06:23:15 PM
Everything could change in just a matter of second, change is the only thing in this world that is true, and I know how it feels to be promised on but didn't fulfill their promises, just like what the majority said, you are not alone, there is a tons of people who have experienced the same thing that happened to you but guess what, it is the part of our journey as a cryptocurrency user, as a bounty hunter.

This is our victory, because by gaining such horrible experience, it makes us more stronger and more smart than before.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: November 17, 2019, 05:29:31 PM
The crypto community will not despise good projects for no reason. However, if someone even speaks badly about a good project, this will not affect the reputation of the project. Only famous personalities can kill a project in their own words.

You can't conclude that in the first place, you cannot yet give your final opinion about a certain project whether it is a good one or not when you are just investigating, sometimes, it is too late to give your final judgment because it's already been done, either it turns out on your side or the other way around, and we can't always trust first impressions of others, most of the time, it is wrong.

And about famous personalities bad mouthing a certain project will could indeed make a lot of damage on the reputation of a certain project, but the truth will always prevail.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Red trust account users can still introduce good bounties on: November 17, 2019, 04:19:13 PM
@SocialCloud good manager , there are many bounties that he managed well before, but he was given a red trust because in his bounty he was capellaenergy scamed and he didn't know anything about just launching the bounty and the team was not responsible for all this.
Sessia is a successful project managed with red trusts

Rules are rules, that everyone needs to follow or they should accept the punishment regarding about the mistakes that they have made, this happens a lot for those good managers, you could also include @atriz on the list, though he committed a big mistakes therefore the authorities here did what they have to do, it doesn't matter who they are, if they disobeyed the rules, they will be punished so there would be no biased system here in this forum.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid falling into a FOMO trap on: November 17, 2019, 03:43:39 PM
Now that you know how to avoid falling into a FOMO trap, you’re prepared to take on the world of crypto trading. Bitcoin trading and altcoin trading can feel incredibly daunting to start, but once you’ve got the hang of it you’ll find yourself flying in no time.
This is obviously not quite true. Learning how to distinguish a FOMO and avoiding it is just one step. We all know there are more things to learn before we can really say that we are "prepared" to trade bitcoin and altcoins.

Agreed.

Other's might misunderstood OP's statement if he is not going to edit it out and change it to something more realistic. FOMO is just a way to make people rush their decisions on something, everyone would rattle, especially newbies if they've heard a bad news or a rumor that they should buy or else they are not going to make profits in the long term investment in cryptocurrency, or the other way around.

This also depends on how mentally strong a certain person is, or how knowledgeable he is for him not to be fooled by strangers who's spreading fake news.
