141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 12, 2020, 04:15:57 PM

Bitcoin closing price on Thanksgiving:
2020 Dec 30 - Huh
2019 Dec 30 - $7227
2018 Dec 30 - $4,365
2017 Dec 18 - $19,140
2016 Dec 30 - $973
2015 Dec 30 - $431

Honestly I think Bitcoin 2020 will make progress , not only in price progress but also technical development will be happened. And we, most of the crypt lover don't focus upon that point.

What do you think this year 2020 will be? Comment below.

2020 will be same as 2019. Do not expect anything incredible happening this year. Before halving there will be a small Bull run and after that you will see a price correction. The price of Bitcoin will be holding between the the range of 8k to 9k by the end of this year.

I disagree about that, my guess is that it would be $13,000, after the halving happened, this is just based on my speculation using the other information about what happened in the last 10 years after halving. But what I'm sure is that bitcoin will surely going to surprise us after the halving this year, we just have to save as much bitcoin as we can to be ready just in case it makes another ATH for this year like what happened in 2017.
142  Other / Meta / Re: Future possible again change Forum Ranking Rules ? on: January 12, 2020, 02:25:24 PM
It is possible, because change means to level things up, it means to grow, and as long as there is changes going on in this forum, everything will evolve and we are all going to be benefited, if we're going to look at it positively, always.

Though there are some people who doesn't like to controlled by laws here, especially the new system (merit system)

<....>

Most of the time gambling is based on chance, even Poker, that requires skill to win, is dependent on the chance, in dice too--need some kind of "strategy" per se. I am not a gambler myself, at least not by money that is.

We can't really separate the chances we are getting in gambling to our skills, without it, skills are nothing, imagine yourself playing poker, and you are a professional gambler but you don't have any chances of getting the right cards to win the prize, that so fucked up, right? And the one in DICE, you don't need a strategy for a pure luck game like DICE, I will understand if it's poker, cause in DICE, it is all random like don't have any patterns like in poker.

Congrats to you bro.

I'm not a fan of checking updates here in local because nothing is here too much unlike those informative boards like Meta and so on, but I guess there's nothing new about our culture supporting each other when needed.

E D I T: Planning to check out our local thread daily to know what's going on here, to give support also and the other way around.

Cheers
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: January 10, 2020, 04:14:13 PM
One thing about the gambling addiction that you would not have any consciousness about how you got addicted to it. Many of the players used to come just for fun but the ultimate gambling becomes their addiction. Like all other addiction, it is too much harmful too. When a gambler is gambling with lots of money he is risking his economical status and even of his family. His mind is so diversed by the gambling that his mood becomes very much arrogant.
Anyone that shows the sign of arrogance just because they start gambling is specifically arrogant by personality. It may be funny to say, but gambling can also bring out the true character of some people. Some people may be greedy, once they start gambling they display they greedy lifestyle in the game. Same goes with an arrogant person.
Those arrogant gamblers are most likely prone to losses. They thought that they know all of the information and also the strategies. As a gambler, we should always be humble and not be a arrogant person. A gambler can become arrogant if they got what they desired where they thought that they understand everything. Being a arrogant in gambling can also lead in addiction so we should not become one of those arrogant gambler

I'm not sure if arrogance as such has anything to do with either losses or wins

What has, though, is how risky you are. Yeah, I understand that you imply arrogant as synonymous with risky. But, first, you can be risky and reckless as hell without being arrogant (read, as shy as a mouse outside gambling) and, second, you can be arrogant and uppity as fuck but still smart enough to know your real odds. And then, after all, it is the risky ones who win big time, not those who avoid taking risky steps and bets

Very well said, as always.

People always judge other people by their negative attitude, without knowing the whole package of a certain person, like if you are a drinker, people will assume that you are a bad person, which is not true, they only see your bad habits but don't see what you are really inside, just like what you have said Sir, being arrogant can't define your losses in gambling, there are "disciplined" gamblers who play gambling yet they still lost.

Gambling doesn't care what kind of person are you, you will lose your money most of the time because it is needed for their bankroll, or you just suck, either of that.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 10, 2020, 03:08:08 PM
Many gamblers are saying that they are only gambling for stress reliever but the thing is they keep becoming more stress if they lose in the gambling. For those who have a lot of money can say that gambling is for fun and stress reliever because they have a lot of money and they do not care even if they lose big.

It seems that you misunderstood them.

They are saying that it is their stress reliever because of the fun it cause to them, I know what you were trying to say but to make this short, it is different when you play gambling just for fun only and if you play gambling for fun and money, if you are like the kind of person that I mentioned lastly, then surely you will be more stress when you lose in gambling, and vice versa.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: January 09, 2020, 05:00:29 PM
Does gambling have a main purpose, to start with?

Do you believe we are here for a reason?

If you had no time to waste in your life, would you still gamble anyway?

some interesting questions
will love to read your answers.(and more questions)
Many gamblers are gambling because they want easy money and that is the truth. They are willing to spend many many money just to win in gambling. I can't say that they are stupid because that is their decision but I think they are just addicted into it that they will sacrifice everything for the sake of money.

If you are asking if it is the main purpose, many will say yes including me. Some are saying that it is for fun. Yes it can be but there are many ways to enjoy why you spend many money and go gambling Cheesy.

We can't hide that fact, even if we deny it. The purpose of gambling will be always be money, for the majority of the gamblers' population, because look, you bet your money in exchange of money, but something bigger, if you won, and that is a solid proof already that most of the people who are playing gambling are after the huge money they could win on it.

The only folks that are playing just for fun in gambling are those who are filthy rich and doesn't give a damn about their money, whether it would be lost or not.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: January 09, 2020, 03:56:56 PM
Have you counted or estimate all your losses and thought what all your losses could you buy, do you sometimes stop and think on all of this.
I'm not a big gambler but I estimate I could already buy a good class mountain bike with all my losses, how about you?
I'm not gambling too much but if I will count my losses on it, I could buy a new GPU or a new keyboard or a new Gaming Chair on my losses Sad.

To be honest, I feel some regret that I gambled this past days and years but I can't do anything about it but to move on already. Now, I don't want to gamble and I already said to myself that I will totally stop gambling starting this year 2020 Cheesy. Instead of using your money for gambling, why not use it to buy other stuff that you want or you need Cheesy.

You don't do that or you will really regret estimating your losses, it's like if you estimated the money you spend in buying the things you wanted, you will also realized that if you save it instead, you could probably buy a house right now or a car, or you could be a millionaire, who knows, right? but since we spent it on the daily basis and it is our choice where to spend our money, the regret shouldn't be there.

We should always look on the bright side of the page to continue our story and to make a good next chapter of our lives.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: January 09, 2020, 03:01:17 PM
There is no specific amount of money that is needed for gambling because it will depend on your own living. If you are rich then you will spend more money on it and vice versa.

I agree, because once you set an amount of money that you will use in gambling, and you lose it, you will add some more and more until you are satisfied, that being said, the amount of money that is being use in gambling by gamblers is unlimited as long as they have a supply of it, once it runs out, they would stop and continue the other day, or maybe next week, it depends.

Why? because of our wants, as long as we have the urge to play gambling, the wants of us in terms of money will continuously increase until we got broke, or we learned our lessons about it.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: recovering seed from address on: January 09, 2020, 01:37:18 PM
You should have stored your Seed Wallet words as a picture like I did with mine here:
[ imgur ]
My question is, how do I use these to recover my BitCoins if I ever need them ?
You won't be able to recover them if you post that picture here Roll Eyes
Whoever knows your seed will be able to recover your coins for themselves, thus stealing them from you.

Probably OP's just trolling and this picture that he have shown to us maybe an old seed and he is just using this as an example to know what he'll do about it if he need to recover his bitcoins once he need it.

No one would ever dropped his wallet seed picture here in this forum unless he is a retard..

154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Profitability of Trading Bots on: January 08, 2020, 04:43:29 PM
The profitability of trading bots simply differ from bot to bot, as they have their own indicators and stuff. And yes, trading bots can definitely be very profitable, assuming that the user of the trading bot knows what he's doing in the first place, by tinkering it and making it better as time goes.

I have recently set up a bot and have been astounded by the operability of it. It's actually working lol.
If the bot you set up is currently doing really well, great. Good job. But don't assume that it will work great forever. This is a common mistake with trading in general, that could potentially end up burning the trader. Just a heads up.

This is absolutely correct.

Bots have different roles in the trading industry, it could be use on automatically picking the right choice to make to trade, or you could manually put what you wanted to trade and the bot will do it overnight if you wanted a sleep, basically just that. However, just like what you have said, we have to know how to take advantage of it and not just randomly use it believing that it could give you profits without the user making the first move, unless he have the automatic trading bot that do all the works.

But don't assume that it will work great forever.

I agree.
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: January 08, 2020, 03:07:25 PM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?

if the help you need wants to leave gambling and try to live a better life maybe I will give direction to be able to change your life so that you don't feel curious because you want to make up for the losses you experienced in gambling. but if the help you need is loan capital to be able to roll back, i won't give you the capital you need at all
In terms of funds and to use again in gambling in order to recover his losses? It gonna be different and I don't give such a thing. Gambling doesn't give assurance and how this person could give you back if he loses again.

And I agree with you, make help that could only change his life direction, not the way that it add more to his miserable life. It ends up nothing and may your help will just be wasted.

Correct.

Because if the help he was asking is to give him some capital to get back his losses, it is not a help at all, well it is but on a very bad way. What you guys said was all true about the recommended help that we should do. Let me give an example about it, if you see a beggar on street asking for money but you gave food instead and he didn't accept it, for sure he has some addiction to feed therefore he only wants money, but if it is the other way around, then you've go the real beggar that really needs helps and attention.

The point is, we should first ask the reason why they need it, for us to know if it is worth it to give.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 08, 2020, 01:25:42 PM
I'm from Philippines and the lotto here is PCSO lottery which you would guess random numbers that you want and there are different categories, like jackpot and betting on few numbers but the amount of money you could win depends on the bet you place and of course depends on the category you will choose. It is a very famous gambling here in the Philippines, mostly to the adult ones, but there are also gambling site that have lottery like Trueflip, and etc...

157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: January 08, 2020, 12:31:23 PM

what is that Free Money from friends?meaning from tips?are you living in gambling just from tips?cannot believe its true lol.

better spend those "Tips" for your family since i can feel that you dont have enough money to keep and never spent in gambling .never forget that gambling should me enjoyment and not for living .
there are many of my friends who gamble, when they get a big win, they always share with me, and of course I use it for gambling.
every gambling result I will always use again for gambling not for anything else and that is my principle. therefore I enjoy playing gambling with free money without fear of losing.

I envy you, for having friends like that but it seems like you are taking it for granted, they gave you money that they won in gambling yet you are also spending it on gambling, if you are losing it most of the time, then basically your friend lost his profits too, your friend should have rather spend it in gambling so he could have more profits than give it to you and just spend it in gambling without any idea about what you're playing I presume therefore you lost most of your games.
