So I'm sure some of you probably already know that BTC-E is having some issues with their email servers. The problem with that is that people like me who have security on our accounts set up to send an email confirmation when we withdraw funds can't withdraw anything. This morning, before I realized their email servers were down, I tried to pay someone by withdrawing to their address. I never got the email, but the funds were taken out of my account. So, I'm basically stuck in limbo until they get this resolved. Unless you guys know anything other than I do. I have pm'd support, sent an email and pm'd BTC-E on here. Thanks for any help or advice you have.

I tried to pay someone by withdrawing from my BTC-E account. However, the email servers are down and so I can't get an email confirmation to let me release it. Is there anything that can be done to have that withdrawal released?
EDIT: Everything seems to be fine now, thanks!

At least from what I see, PPC is probably going to take off when it first hits BTC-E, depending on how soon it gets there. People I think are going a little crazy over the alts right now, and I'm not exactly sure how sustainable it is. I would love to see a few more cryptos outperforming the fiats.

Yes the person who helped create it, a bible thumping Christian called luke-jr, also calls litecoin a Ponzi. Conflict of interest? Yeah, I think so.
Wait, luke-jr helped create PPCoin?

Also, I think it's time someone made another NVC. PoW + PoS + Scrypt + No Premine. That would be awesome.
That would be really awesome if someone did that

I got in "early" on litecoins at $1.12 and I'm hoping I got in even early on PPCoins.

I don't disagree with this sentiment, but you need to keep in mind that litecoin has 4x cap of bitcoin so the 50 cents is really $2 if you want to compare it to bitcoin and judge which one is a better value in the long run.
I think this is a really important point that a lot of people miss when arguing about the future value of litecoins. Now mind you, I mine litecoins and I'm invested in LTC, but I don't really expect them to overtake bitcoins. I really think that litecoins will be silver to BTC's gold. But, maybe I'll be wrong

Yeah litecoin qt will do what you are looking for, the ones that are not capable are like exchange wallets and some other ones that are remotely hosted.
Thanks, I tried it yesterday and it didn't work, so I must have done something wrong, I probably sent to the wrong address or something. I just tried again and it worked.

This may be a stupid question, but after trying to find the answer elsewhere, I have been unable to find it. I would like to gamble on sites like Greenishblue's litedice. However, it has this message at the top of the page: Make sure you are using a client where you control the address your bet is sent from as the payout will be returned to the same address. Maybe I'm missing something, but is the address you send from controllable with the Litecoin-QT wallet? If not, is there an alternate Litecoin wallet I can use where I can control this? Thanks in advance for any reply, I'm still pretty new to the crypto-world, but I'm very quickly falling in love with it.

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question but I have searched and have not been able to find the answer. I want to be able to play the dice game on this site: http://greenishblue.info/litedice/It says in the description at the top: Make sure you are using a client where you control the address your bet is sent from as the payout will be returned to the same address. I tried to play it once only to find out that the address that I sent it from was not what they saw it was sent from, so I lost those coins. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm so glad that things like this are starting to show up for litecoin. Anything that helps increase litecoin's popularity and get it out in front of people is good to me. You will definitely see me stealing it a few times. Thanks!
