Hi,

It's my time contributing to a bounty campaign.

Can someone tell me how does the newsletter campaign work? I just registered on Google Forms.

That's simple: you have to subscribe to SLVR newsletter, submit the Google Form. At the end of this campaign, we will check if every participant subscribed. If so, you will receive some bounties tokens.

Hi, i've submitted the Google Forms, but I can't seem to find any SLVR newsletter on your website.

246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How can USDT be pegged to Dollar? on: September 07, 2017, 08:40:55 AM
Do they take in USD notes and release USDT 1:1, just like acting as the federal reserves?

How else would they be able to peg it.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is Ethereum's contract address? on: September 07, 2017, 08:38:23 AM
Hi guys,

What is the contract address in Ethereum blockchain? Is it the "place" where the first smart contract format is stored and in programming it is the "interface" for other smart contracts created from it?

thanks
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Latest development from SEC, Americans can now buy ICOs? on: September 07, 2017, 02:05:03 AM
It is the same as before, if it's not a security, they don't care.

How do we define "security" really?

Under the Howey Test, a transaction is an investment contract if:

It is an investment of money
There is an expectation of profits from the investment
The investment of money is in a common enterprise
Any profit comes from the efforts of a promoter or third party

http://consumer.findlaw.com/securities-law/what-is-the-howey-test.html

Thanks.

ICOs should probably mint the coins with our favorite footballer or Pikachu virtually so that we can tell Howvey it's a virtual good not for profit Smiley
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 07, 2017, 01:59:32 AM
Distribution of bytes is finished.
Total distributed: 57,444.473272169 GB.  It's about $19m at the current rate.
New available supply: 583,896.4940036 GB.  Coinmarketcap is already updated.

I'll update when blackbytes are distributed, it is going to take about 3 days.

Thanks man

This project is always delivering as promised

If I hold my Byteballs on Bittrex, will I get the Airdrop?

No. Bittrex is keeping them.

Withdraw all your Byteball to your Wallet and link them if you wan't your free blackbytes.

They are really keeping them? Wow, that's almost theft I'd dare to say...

If bittrex is theft then I don't know what others are, considering that some even took BCC from their users. At least Bittrex gave users the BCCs.

I mean, it will be very good if bittrex does give us our blackbytes too, and while I support Byteball, Bittrex might not have the energy to work on blackbytes distribution for now. Bittrex is swamped with all the new coin requests.

Thanks Pete for this interesting project. It looks like a good chunk of team members are originated from mainland China. Can you share with us with the latest ban on ICOs how will it affect you, and how do you plan to mitigate this.

Good luck with your ICO Smiley
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All china ICO platform closed the ICO project due to the Regulatory policies on: September 04, 2017, 10:14:22 AM
Yes, I've seen the news about icos banned as well. I guess that's the main reason why NEO is going extremely down right now. Gosh, I guess a lot of people are losing their money on it now. What do you guys think: will non-Chinese people make a sufficient amount of icos on NEO for it to keep going? Will we see NEO great again? Or is it the end and time to sell everything when the price is still $20?

Patience my friend, you will be rewarded
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO - The Ethereum of China (Invest before you regret) on: September 03, 2017, 01:24:43 PM
It increased in 7-9 times, let him relax:) China will not let him fall below 30 sufficiently. Just buy and hold
I see the development of NEO and also the volume in the exchange have a high volume, if buy now it to late or not for me?because i wanna hold NEO for a long time if it not to late.

Remember to store it in a wallet so you get free gases Smiley
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create a Waves Platform Wallet.Lease your Tokens and get Rewarded.Trade on DEX. on: September 03, 2017, 01:23:34 PM
Can someone who has leased waves tell me how much waves exactly/around you are getting per week or month?  For example say you have like 500 waves.

You can just say 450 waves for example and say i get 0.01 waves a month etc.  I want to know around how much waves you get per week and month when doing this.

So if someone has 1000 waves, how much waves do they get per week... per month etc.

aprx 1 wave for 1000 waves per year, according to my current earnings.

Hi, I have some WAVES that I am thinking of leasing out, but 1 per 1000 is like worse that time deposit rates. Sad

I have not leased before so hopefully someone can tell me if there is only one party to lease to? Which is WavesFullNode. Or there are a couple out there.

Leasing, imo, is just a way to tie token supply in the open market, but the reward they are giving is worse than central bankers Sad
255  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / What does signing a bitcoin address do? on: September 03, 2017, 12:56:59 PM
I've been asked to sign my address so that Byteball wallet can verify it. While on the outset it looks very safe as I am just linking a message(byteball address) to my bitcoin address and sharing the signed signature to Byteball wallet.

Can I just check if this is 100% safe? Is there any chance of compromise?

Thanks
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 03, 2017, 12:29:07 PM
Let me ask the Byteball core community: what do you think is the main competitor of Byteball or are there no competitors?

Cheers. I still hold a lot of Byte balls Grin

Iota is somehow a competitor, has a huge capitalisation but most of coins are apparently in just a few hands, which if it's true makes it... well, you can guess.

Iota has the first mover advantage, but I like how Tonych distributes and engage the community.

I wonder if he has something up his sleeves as he almost never engages the media, so mostly people in the crypto community are supporting it. I like it to be that way, but also like to see some major growth, maybe some time next year. Steady growth wins the day.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the upcoming ICOs with working product? on: September 03, 2017, 11:19:36 AM
As i know the developers of social network running their own ICO (kin.kik.com) ,in few words it is cryptocurrency  that can be used in social network.

Wow interesting, didn't know Kik is doing their own ICO.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which are the upcoming ICOs with working product? Pundi X on: September 03, 2017, 10:42:39 AM
With so many ICOs flying around, can someone give a hint which team already has a working product and then launching an ICO, instead of the other way around.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO - The Ethereum of China (Invest before you regret) on: September 03, 2017, 10:40:05 AM
I am surprised it didn't crash upon the Chinese authorities' announcements. Signs of resilience Wink
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All china ICO platform closed the ICO project due to the Regulatory policies on: September 03, 2017, 10:38:12 AM
Some of the famous chinese ICO platform temporarily closed the Ico project due to the regulatory policies of the relevant departments。

So Ether price down quickly. what do you think about the event??
Will it last long time or re-open quickly???and what the influence to the market???

Hi, which sites are you talking about? I realized 19800 is closed for "upgrade" and luckily I withdrew my savings out a week ago.
