241  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Stolen bitcoins from blockchain.info 05/22/2018 on: June 06, 2018, 09:11:06 AM
Sorry for your loss and I think one of the apps you used phished your account credentials and lead to the losing of your bitcoins

And am sure not even the blockchain.info support can help in this case....its a learning experience for everyone to avoid apps not known to be safe and maybe to avoid further loss try activating 2fa as well to give yourself some ptotection from unauthorized access.

243  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: June 05, 2018, 06:46:09 PM
Hi there! I just need your advice. I invested the money instead of paying my school fees. Yeah, i know this is wrong because education is more important to us and it can't be stealed from us, i'm still studying but my fees will be doubled on the next payment. But i believe this will end a good result. What do you think about this ? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
This is not smart of you to do because investing in bitcoin is not only risky but prices are volatile which isn't good as you could lose out and affect you education... You might have run out of options where to get the extra cash for your next payment but why not find something else to invest in with short team returns.
244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped so invest more on: June 05, 2018, 05:27:43 PM
people are panicking over the drop that has been experienced over the last few hours why don't you look at it as the best time to invest more

if you are panicking too much you need to evaluate your risk management skills or you will be feeding the sharks
its the crypto world you can expect anything
Price will dip and soar every time so we need not to panic or we shall be giving away free coins(money) to the sharks and whales who have the patience to hodl and sell at better prices and as far as I know people talk of price drops we need to take this opportunity to buy low and sell high when market recovers. And it seems that price has not only dropped but also become much stable which is good imo
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: June 03, 2018, 01:09:58 PM
I had no idea bitcoin was ranked this high, but is there a link to follow to see if this information is true...

And is this rank based on if the price of bitcoin is over $15k Huh

248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange site best for beginner ? on: May 31, 2018, 01:41:09 PM
I have total $750 . i want to invest and i want to trade . so which trading platform so best for beginner ?
and can i make good profite per month with this amount ?
I think binance is quiet basic for anyone to use but if you are new to trading and want to make a good profit, you

Can try decentralized exchanges such as idex or forkdelta as that's were coins are listed before hitting a big exchange as binance and the advantage is there is no KYC to use them too.
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: May 31, 2018, 07:45:48 AM
I will be bias on this and to be honest I prefer Bitcoin over bank investments because no fees will be charged whatsoever on your investment and interests received on btc can not be matched by they bank as their interests is limited and low but when the question of risk comes in I think both are equally risky & the only downfall btc over the bank... is its volatility, but despite this high risk= high returns.
250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC : DEPOSIT ISSUE (PENDING FOR 4 MONTHS) on: May 30, 2018, 07:10:58 PM
Hi all,

anyone facing issues depositing tokens on the hitbtc site? I have deposited mine 4 months ago yet it is still not credited to my account. Wrote in to their tech support team yet no action has been done.

HELP PLEASE  Cry Cry
4 months ago, wow!

I did experience the same problem with hitbtc and took almost a month for my deposit to reflect on my account and the sad part is emails went unanswered for a very long time too and learning that this still goes on is not good news!

I thought these guys problems were fixed after their said upgrades  Roll Eyes anyway they need a solution urgently before they lose clients to other exchanges who value customers time.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Determine Credible Bounty Program on: May 30, 2018, 08:06:29 AM
I think bounties with kyc are good as the show the project is serious about what they doing.

Then the issue of an experienced bounty team is also important as they can easily turn down an ico project that looks like a scum if they fail to provide certain information during its internal check

The strength of the ico team has some influence on the value of coins so team plays a role in choosing a bounty.

253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Future of Dogecoin on: May 29, 2018, 07:01:05 PM
With sooooo many coins in the market and it being a more popular but just another ALT, in some cases, what do you think the long term will be? I believe most are geared towards the long-term profit of dogecoin but with such a long/high/maybe not possible, hill to climb in all aspects I found, which isn't much, what is the likelihood that dogecoin will be around and then will it ever make it profitable as an investor without daily trading?

with so many coins emerging from the altcoin pool that are not just some payment gateway, I doubt it if Dogecoin will be around as a valuable coin as it has nothing to offer and currently not as popular as other first gen cryptos and with more coins coming into the market the gap of catching up is been widened rendering coins as doge to be worthless!

254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: May 29, 2018, 05:05:05 PM
Good afternoon. I would like to hear your opinion. I've been reading the forum sufficiently long, but I rarely write. I had one question. Why is the forum divided into 2 teams that angry with one another?
First off its not that anybody is angry, its just that some users are so lazy to try and find answers to some of the answers the have been asked before on the forum

The first support bitcoin and hate all altcoins. All of this for them is only garbage. Others like altcoins and do not understand what the problem have first.
I have a question for the first camp. Why?
Take for example Zilliqa, Tomocoin, NEO, DragonChain, etc. People who bought them in large quantities became richer. Why do you think this is garbage?
Bitcoin is a legend, but some altcoins are worth paying attention to, aren't they?
Some people are employed shills engaged to shoot down other projects to allow their preferred coins to prosper, its purely are marketing strategy if i may say but hey everyone is free to choose their camp or stay neutral about it.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ALL IN? on: May 29, 2018, 02:00:35 PM

Ethereum price is at it's lowest point this month. Any people who bought or is planning to buy a big stack of Ethereum?
according to this, the graph shows a downward trend and AFAIK somewhere it has to give and start racing to the top which should be a reason to buy this dip.

All in? Why not, there is exactly 50% chance you will win, so its worth to try Smiley
ETH is inluenced by BTC price fluctuations, they are totally unpredictable so its impossible to say which way it will go. There is no ceiling, no bottom, no whatsoever.
Not sure if going all in is safe, just a few weeks ago eth was hit hard and was almost trading for as low as 300 dollars which is evidence that we need to try other investments to avoid losing more than we invested.

Is it possible that maybe your chrome got an auto update and needs a restart or possible a slow internet connection??
257  Economy / Economics / Re: Why anyone who invests 5,000$ now in bitcoin will be millionaire by 2025 on: May 29, 2018, 09:44:45 AM
Good afternoon, this post will express some of my personal views and of other people more qualified, and I will add some news that backup my view  Grin Grin

As of this moment, according to coinmarketcap.com, bitcoin is valued at 6900$ (around 66% devaluation from the 20,000$ peak) and Ethereum 380$. Worst estimates place it around 6,000$ in the next days/weeks.
Ethereum is still slightly above $500, which exchange are you using to get these price estimates and as far as I know  the next days/weeks wont see bitcoin reach lows of $6000 as people will start to buy the lows.

Why anyone who invests 5,000$ now in bitcoin will be millionaire by 2025
and i think it will be possible to be a millionaire buy then because people would have known about the blockchain unlike now when few know about it
258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin is worthless on: May 29, 2018, 07:53:49 AM
its funny that they are referring to the blockchain technology to be an over-hyped technology Cry

if they think some cryptocurrencies are overpriced, why not choose to use or invest in some coins their budgets will allow them because as far as I know projects do not set the price, its the market (us)!

This article would have been very good had it resurfaced a few years ago but unfortunately, today companies with real use of the blockchain for long-term use are developing their own blockchains as opposed to copy and paste of algorithms.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you panic? on: May 28, 2018, 10:20:27 PM
As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens.
maybe this should be a lesson for all future ICOs...

if distribution will be going on during token sales, coins need to be smart contract locked to avoid sells going on while the sale is on to avoid redirecting investors away from the main sale and we cant blame investors or bounty hunters  either for receiving coins that they can freely sale on the open market

Quote
As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?
panic buy yes, panic sell no!
260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again? on: May 28, 2018, 07:58:20 PM
We all have seen how bitcoin crossed $20,000 in December . When do you think this will happen again?

As far as I know bitcoin is not as volatile as it was back then when it was possible to pump it by over $2000 dollars in a day,

now we have to work with less than $500 dollar price movements in a week which makes the prediction difficult but probably a December anniversary could bring us some luck to see $20,000 again...
