This is quite risky bro. You decided not to pay for school fees to invest on something you are not a hundred percent sure. Yes, investing is not so bad only if you have an allocated money for it. But risking an amount that is supposed to be spent on a need or something more important is not a thing I would do. Spend your extra money only. You already said it, you are still a student. Your future depends on your decisions. Not all investment decisions are okay, especially if you risked something that should be your primary priority.

Much better for you to still join in bounty campaigns and after you get your rewards hold it atleast a months then sell then convert your eth to btc and invest.

This is a great suggestion, try to follow a bounty campaign so you no longer need to use school fees to invest. If you are a student, then following a bounty program will not be much of an obstacle.

Just make sure you will have or you will get your money or the capital you use in the investment before the final deadline of paying your tuition fee, I also used my tuition before to buy the things I want then I will just work on something to pay my tuition before the final period.

But  make sure a plan B and plan C is ready just incase there will complication during your investment...

no, it is wrong because you invested the money you can not afford to lose. it doesn't matter what you think will happen, even if you are sure you can never be sure 100%. there is always a small chance of loss.

best worst case scenario is that price stays like this for a long time and you don't make any profit but you still have to pay the "fees"!

my only advice would have been only invest what you can spare. as you said yourself education is more important so why would you do that.

In my own humble opinion, I think you are investing in the wrong market. Bitcoin has a lot of issue to worry about nowadays (slow transactions, high fees, public transactions, dominating rich list, ...etc.). Bitcoin lost a huge portion of its dominance as the leading crypto-currency. Yes, it is still commanding >40% of the crypto market but altcoins are taking over.

When regulations were announced (Korea, China) people freaked out and drove the bitcoin price down to $9,700. Soon the U.S, U.K and European countries will follow and you have the guess where will this take bitcoin's price. To be frank, I don't think bitcoin will die anytime soon. However, the public is realizing the shortcomings of bit coin as the first in crypto-currency, but not the best.

Look how privacy coins boomed in 2017 (Dash, Monero, ZCash, ...etc.). When regulations are enforced onto the public, this will drive bitcoin price down further and people will flock towards privacy altcoins that protect them. Do your research and look into open-source altcoin that are decentralized and offer transaction privacy. Bitcoin ship has already sailed and we aren't on. I highly suggest to cash out to invest in cheaper altcoins with a promising future. You will be able to hold altcoins as a future investment and you can pay your tuition.

Ok lets break this down into pros and cons !
Pros of you investing your school fees money :
You will get some profit from it depending on how long you are willing to hold. you pay your school fees and keep the profit for your self.
Might invest that profit again and keep getting more money.

Cons :
Bitcoin dip and you lose half of you assets .
You won't be able to pay for your school fees ,thus get expelled or idk which policy you have.
Your family will be disapointed in you .
You will have to work in jobs you hate and suffer in order to gather more money.

You could see that the cons are way more and worst than the pros ,so it's all up to you to chose . I bet you knew all what've told you above ,but sometimes we just rush into things without really taking in account the consequenses. I hope you the best buddy.

Well you need to think positive because what you do is a very risky thing you sacrifice your education just to invest with bitcoin but I understand your purpose. I am a student too but I don't invest I just earned bitcoin through joining signature and social media campaign and it is really effective because I support my studies through this.

I will not support this decision because one is your need (education which is compulsory) and investing in cypto currency at present is a huge risk because market are going through roller coaster ride. It is quite possible that amount invested could become half as well then in such scenario how will you pay the fees?

My advice for you is to start working. Do whatever it is you can do to earn money and hustle to get your savings built up so you can pay your school fees. You could also try to borrow the money but this sets a bad start for someone who is in school. Borrowing should be the last option you consider.

I don't think there is anything different to say as you should already know that education is your first priority over everything so this is just silly that you invested in bitcoin instead of paying your fees. You know your fees is gonna be double now and there is almost 50-50 chances that you would double your investment in bitcoin at this time as the market is down. You should keep 1 thing in mind that always invest that money in crypto which you could afford to loose not that money which you loose and regret afterwards .
