241  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How will my tokens become coins? on: May 06, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
So you mean that if the token is not running their own kind of blockchain it will never be a coin even if it is listed in top exchanges, has values, and got listed at coinmarketcap?. What are the requirements for it to be called as coins?
What exactly do you want to do by saying how your tokens from bounties will become coins? Do you mean convert it? If that is the case, you mentioned it. Simply go to exchanges and then convert it to anything with value that you want(given it is listed in exchanges already). If you are referring to tokens becoming coins in a sense that they aren't called tokens anymore, then it should run on it's own blockchain without depending on another alt's blockchain. And in the case of erc20 tokens, they should first not run on eth's blockchain for it to be called a coin.
242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Today $150 loss from storm coin in binance , now what i will do? please help on: May 06, 2018, 09:38:44 AM
i am beginner trader in binance. many  time i make profite from binance. i trade basicly iost, storm, ncash and some other small rate coin. but 2 days ago i buy storm coin 0.00000707 this rate. and now storm price 0.00000602. per coin 100 shatoshi loss. now i am so afraid. now i see many coin going dump. now what i will do? now i will do sell my storm or i will do hold storm. i request all senior trader  please help my subject.
Thanks
Are you referring to this coin? If you want, you can cut losses now by selling but that won't do you any good. You should continue holding it, IMO storm still have potential in it for growth(if you are referring to the coin in the link), Don't panic sell just yet. It is normal that a coin dumps once in a while, so get used to it if you are gonna continue trading. You can just sell it instantly though the moment you got decent profit out of it to relieve your fear.
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trend reversal proposition on: May 06, 2018, 05:43:43 AM
~snip~
We could go thought the same scenario again, but going higher than before since the bottom this time is higher. A believe a FOMO event to $30k in august is now possible.
I think it is too early to say that there is a possibility of a FOMO event to 30k US Dollars in August. Before I believe that such event can happen, I would like to see price reach 10,000 US Dollars at least, and break it's barrier because that will surely be the next resistance point. If ever btc price managed to break that wall, then I am quite sure that we will see many people spreading that expected FOMO to 30k US Dollars.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Ravencoin? on: May 06, 2018, 04:14:30 AM
It is a young currency that is based on bitcoin with the promise of being resistant to ASICs with its new algorithms. Also in the future they promise to send and create tokens through their network but, do you think it will be better than another as ethereum?
I think it is just one shitcoin hoping to beat others with the promise of being resistant to ASICs but in reality, there are no ASIC resistant coins because if they are, then they will be hard to mine. So long as there is computing power, everything can be mined. That's why I doubt their promise. Better stay away from it if you don't want to be a fodder to it's developers and to early birds who bought it when it was in ICO phase.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on the Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash Dilemia on: May 06, 2018, 03:25:17 AM
Overall the loud banter on the topic is not progressive for the market to grow, thoughts?
Do not care about them since Roger Ver's group are just a bunch of whales who wants more money, nothing more. They might hurt the overall market of bitcoin now(because of the bitcoin.com problem which is indicated on this thread but they can't do it for a long time, the misunderstanding will be cleared soon. I feel sorry for the newbies who will buy bch at bitcoin's current price though, they will only be used by Roger Ver's team to get BCH prices soar high.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade? on: May 05, 2018, 10:33:34 AM
Hello I am newbie here I want to start in trading where can i start?
You should start by registering to exchanges you want to trust. For a list of good exchanges to register too, you might want to refer to this guide. Before investing onto coins though, make your own due research.
can $100 survive in trading?
I think your capital is enough to start trading. In fact, I have started with a 50$ capital(way back 2016 a year before I registered into this forum). You will be fine so long as you know well the coins you will invest into, and diversify your investments. Furthermore, study trading first before starting. You can refer to this threads for more knowledge about trading:

247  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: May 05, 2018, 09:17:27 AM
This is the best answer posted in this thread as of the moment:
If everyone create their own currency and doesn't got a good features then it will be a dead coin, because the only one using it is only yourself, it is easy to create your own currency but it's hard to convince other to believe and used your coin, even if there are already people using your coin you still need to dedicate your time to make improvements and introduce your coin, so creating one coin won't make you less motivated
In addition to the post quoted above, if everyone creates their own currency and if all of it got good features to showcase, then obviously the ones that will have their own value is only the cream of the crop. The one that will have the greatest value as a currency is the coin that have multiple real world use cases(and because of the same reason btc still dominates the market). For this same reason, someone will still be motivated to work in different fields.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here's Why Ethereum Is a Better Bet, Says Reddit Cofounder on: May 05, 2018, 07:47:53 AM
Is he only saying what he wants to see because he is speculating on ETH, or does he really believe in it?
He is merely saying what he wants to see. Furthermore, he's saying that ethereum is a better bet probably because he is heavily invested into it and he wants to see it's price rise. Therefore as a well known person, all he needs to do is to spread FOMO to bait newbies and those who believes in him to buy ETH. (This is purely based on my opinion, nothing more since financial experts do this often).
249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and Money Orders on: May 05, 2018, 06:44:56 AM
Possibly in your country you have a hard time to get and purchase bitcoins but in our country it is just a matter of minutes. In the Philippines we have the coins.ph bitcoin exchange wherein it has a feature that you can buy bitcoins at the remittance centers and banks and after the deposit the bitcoin will be credited on your balance in just minutes. Pretty cool isnt it.
Look at the date of the OP, it is way back 2011 and by that time, It is hard to purchase bitcoins everywhere. For your information, coins.ph was founded on March 20, 2014 according to coindesk. It is probably harder to buy bitcoins by that time in the Philippines when compared to OP's hometown(assuming he doesn't live in the same country as yours) ain't it? Considering OP hasn't come back for a long time to check his thread, it is safe to assume that it is also easy to buy btc in his hometown right now.
250  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "out of sync" on: May 05, 2018, 04:48:10 AM
Please assist asap.  I have my wallet dedicated on a laptop.  In 3 places it states (out of sync).  On the bottom left it states, "Synchronizing with network...)

I have already uninstalled the wallet 3 times and I do have version 1.0.3.0-154e367 (64bit)

Please advise asap to simply how to get this get back to properly syncing.  If possible, please advise to eyeguy1973@gmail.com
Since you are referring to a wallet(generally), I will assume that you are referring to bitcoin core. For it to get synchronized to network, just wait for it to finish "Synchronizing with network". It is still downloading the blocks needed to get synchronized to the blockchain. You need to not uninstall the wallet. If you want a fast way out, refer to this guide for you to be able to import that into electrum wallet or on a web wallet that supports importing of private key like blockchain.info wallet.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual bitcoin in Centralized Exchanges on: May 04, 2018, 10:59:54 PM
Is there a mistake in my thoughts?
They can create assets internally in their exchange and allow trading on them, but even if people did trade those coins(bitcoins or altcoins), they wouldn't be able to withdraw those coins since exchanges cannot create coins in their real wallet out of the thin air, making those who traded it unable to withdraw those coins(since it doesn't exist in the blockchain). For this reason centralized exchanges might want to avoid doing it.
What do you think, is it possible or not?
It is possible but those exchange that will attempt to do it will have the intent to scam people for real.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins meets the following Criteria:? on: May 04, 2018, 12:23:39 PM
- Has real world usage

- Won't be obsolete caused by bitcoin lightning network

- Has a low deflationary total/max supply

- Future Proof

- Can survive long term bear markets

Eth meets the criteria in the bold but I doubt if it is future proof. Besides, it's supply is not low too(because it's circulating supply atm is 99,223,438 ETH  according to coinmarketcap. Nevertheless, I think eth is one of the alts that have real world use cases(because of smart contracts) and it can survive long term bear markets(because of the support that comes from erc20 tokens). Also I think waves, in the future might also fit the following criteria in the bold(because of them launching smart contracts and having waves dex platform).
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on coin under $30 on: May 04, 2018, 11:24:07 AM
- Waves, EOS, ICX, IOTA...own some of all already
- GAS
- Steen
The coins you are looking into is good, and I advice you too diversify your investment into at least 2-3 coins from the list so that your 1000 xlm would be worth selling for. That way, you can lessen the risk of loss if ever one coin of yours dump and doesn't recover for a long time. If you were to diversify it, I recommend waves and eos to you, since IMO these two are the ones with the most potential for growth.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 04, 2018, 10:47:30 AM
1 Governments prevent the development of bitcoin.
As far as I know not all governing authorities of every country prevents the development of bitcoin. In fact, some countries like Japan and Venezuela legalized bitcoin and other cryptos. Likewise, Russia begins developing blockchain standards of their country, showing their support in crypto's development and is currently drafting blockchain legislation to speed up adoption which will definitely speed up the development of bitcoin too after they have finished drafting those laws.
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't Warren Buffett invest in Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2018, 08:13:00 AM
He says that he doesn't understand bitcoin or blockchain technology in general, so it would be very understandable that he doesn't want to invest in it.
Warren buffet is not a trader, and it is understandable that he doesn't know how Bitcoin works(since he did not research it). He is just buying shares on companies with a huge potential to give him a hefty sum of profit. It can also be that way or the other way around. He might have had invested into btc in its early days, and might be one of the biggest whales in crypto space now but is doing it covertly.
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: we're pumpin right now on: May 04, 2018, 06:57:29 AM
Will we see $10k in the next 24 hours?
Probably not since IMO the movement we have seen today is only the natural volatility of bitcoin, nothing more. As of the moment, the price is 9686 USD and it seems to me that there is a resistance going on that will prevent price to go up to the speculated price. I think the thread title needs to be changed though, from "were pumping right now" to "bitcoin price testing the waters". I think it would be more apporpriate.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading tips based on years of experience --- by Raja on: May 03, 2018, 10:41:18 PM
12. If you think no one's more unlucky than you, then watch some Youtube videos of victims of Bitconnect.
Thanks for the tips, this one is funny though. There are more victims of other shitcoins so why point out the victims of Bitconnect? Maybe you can add this tip: Never buy a coin that is obviously being pumped and dumped or never buy a coin that is overvalued and is hyped too much, because it will lead you to loss in the long run if you didn't dump it at the right time.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash on the rise! Is this sustainable? on: May 03, 2018, 01:17:04 PM
BCH/USD up ~8% in the last 24 hours as Bitcoin Cash reaches a new 3 month high! Approaching $1,500 fast! Is the growth bitcoin cash is experiencing lately sustainable?
It is a useless coin, therefore the growth it is experiencing is unsustainable. What currently sustains the price is only it being a hard fork of btc, and of course some manipulators that tries to gain a hefty sum of profit from noobs who thinks that BCH is good and from those who still believes bitcoin cash will someday be on par or beat btc. If you want to hodl bitcoincash though, I suggest you don't buy it now.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goldman Sachs Is Planning to Began Cryptocurrency Trading Desk on: May 03, 2018, 11:50:48 AM
Such claims really annoy me. As if their precious credit cards haven't been hacked many times before.
Do not be annoyed, they just used that line to convey how Goldman Sach's action is good to the public eyes. It also shows that people doesn't invest into btc mainly because of them thinking that btc can be hacked easily. Let it pass for now, at least crypto got another good public exposure, I am sure his plan will be the one of the key points for bitcoin to be mainstream in the future.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happend 2140 all BTC are mined on: May 03, 2018, 10:41:13 AM
Miners will still do the job and they will now mine to confirm transactions and they'll earn through the tx fees. Read these articles for better understanding.
Will miners continue to mine bitcoin after that? Will mining still be profitable? Will miners used in mining evolve to consume less electricity and make mining profitable with fees in the future? How will miners survive with tx fees? I doubt miners will still do the job if these questions are still questioned 50 years from now. I also think that instead of earning through tx fees alone, there would be methods invented to make mining profitable again before all bitcoins are mined in 2140.
