Freebitco.in is a gambling site that provides a fairly large faucet first and looking at the Freebitco.in thread it has been around for a long time, namely 2013 so I conclude it is an old gambling site. ...
Yes, I remeber when I came to know about freebitco.in back in 2016 or 2017 I decided to create an account there just because of their faucet which used to give a good amount of sats and it was one of the few trustworthy faucets out there. To be honest, back then I didn't even know they were a gambling website, maybe that's due to their domain name freebitcoin.

The problem with bitcoin ATMs other than asking for personal information such as an ID or a phone number, is that they are usually installed on public spaces which is not convenient for users who value their privacy. Also, ATM's charge high fees, usually higher than any online exchange would charge. I believe anyone who used an ATM, either used it out of curiosity to know how it works or because he didn't have any other option to buy/sell bitcoins. No one would be willing to use them on a regular basis. You may want to read this topic written by The Pharmacist if you want to know how it feels to use an ATM for the first time Finally used a bitcoin ATM successfully!

if I really want to go away with the money I wouldn't have post this thread secondly I don't know how to post images I would love to proof and clear all doubts.
No need to upload images and you don't have to prove anything as long as the scond party (the scammer) does not show up and start accusing you of withholding his money. Even in that case, tou can prove you sent his money back by providing the transactions IDs instead of images that can be faked. Anyway, good to know you sent the money back. Next time, if you believe someone is a scammer just block him and don't waste your/his time.

Here is the picture of Yuliya with our CEO....
Maybe that's just me but it doesn't look like it's the same person. As COOLCRYPTOVATOR suggested, you need to ask her to provide a clearer photo or a short video at the office to confirm that she really work with you. Regarding the whitepaper, didn't you proofread it before publishing it! didn't you notice the plagiarized content? The problem with plagiarized whitepapers and why a project with a plagiarized whitepaper can't be trusted isn't only because it's considered intellectual property theft, but because it means that there is no project to begin with.

Let's be honest with each other and realize that casinos do not really differ from each other when you gamble in them. Sure there are terrible ones, but I could name you 10 casinos just in the crypto world where gambling in slots on all of them mean nothing big different from each other
I hear this a lot and at first sight this seems to make sense since we have almost the same slot games on different casinos and the same game providers. However, there is more than slot games on casinos and gambling isn't just hitting the spin button and wait for the result. The gambling experience is different on every casino even if you play the same game.

Honestly, I was expecting more than that from you! I was expecting you to bring some evidence to back up your claims and to justify the decisionyou took. But you didn't do that although your investigation took way too long. If you can't prove that a player has cheated or has exploited a bug/vulnerability then you have no right to withhold his money. Sorry, but am afraid I have to support the flag too.

I was willing to give OP the benefit of the doubt and hoping that he will come back and address our concerns and start refunding players who couldn't log in to their accounts. But after reading the recent replies, especially Stalker22's finding, I became more convinced that theycare scammers and will never see them again around here (unless they come back under another name, ofc). A warm welcome to you and happy staying on the forum, ...I wish you guys all the best and happy stay keep improving.
Really man! Did you even read any of the posts above yours before writing this? Everyone is saying they are scammers and you are welcoming them!

You should keep track of promotions so that you don't miss out on any. You may get these notifications through email or you can visit this thread regularly as all promotions are announced and discussed on this thread also. Thank you for the advice I receive notifications about new promotions on my email and I regurarely visit this thread to check for updates because I know OP is very active and always post about new promotions and how to join them. Likewise, a 100 dollar deposit is also heavy for me but don't they have other promos like getting half of that spin from deposits lesser than 100 usd, something like that?
Yes, they have. If you check their last promo terms, for example, you will realize that you can get 60 free spins just by depositing a $30 or 140 fs if you deposit $60.

Usually people who join a forum dedicated to discuss a certain subject, are either knowledgeable about that sibject or at least interested in it. Bitcointalk is an exception because most new accounts (newbies) are either part of a big farm or created solely for the purpose of joining bounty campaigns. They don't care about learning or sharing their knowledge with others (if they have any). What's certain is that the account rank doesn't always reflect the real level of knowledge of the account's owner.

To be honest, I've never seen such high bets before! The highest bets I've seen were of the order of ~$10k. Maybe because I don't focus too much on the bets tab and don't spend much time following the most recent or highest bets. Most members are saying that he must be a rich guy and making such high bets is normal! but C'mon.. we are talking about losing about 60 btc (~3 million dollars) in three consecutive rolls in matter of few seconds. This isn't a small amount you can afford to lose even if you are a billionaire.

Sports betting is good for user that has a advanced knowledge on sports analysis while it is a total disaster for newbie that don't watch sports that he is betting. On the other hand, Casino luck based game is good for newbie because most of the games are no brainers and have a 50/50 chance to win while advance player will not risk playing on it due to the probability is not in there favor because of house edge.
I couldn't agree more! No game type is more profitable than the other (gambling is all about luck and odds). So, to know which is the best game type, don't look for which one is more profitable (because it doesn't exist) rather look for which one is more suitable for you and for your skills. Dont chase too much profit in gambling and I think sports betting is enough to bet in a day and wait for another a result and then bet again, you have enough time to check the player's background and that could possibly have a chance you to win
The only problem here is that on sports betting the odds are always too low. So to make a good profit you either have to bet on multiple events which will exponentially lower your chance of winning or you will have to make a huge bet on a single event which is too risky.

Is it ok to steal from a thief?!.. I believe we all agree that it's not. The same applies here, this is not your money and the right thing to do is to send it back. Moreover, you have no proof that this person is actually a scammer or was planning to scam you aside from your assumptions. The only case, in my opinion, where it would be ok to keep that money is if that person scammed you before and you outsmarted him to get your money back.

... after seeing all these red flags the only thing that crosses my mind is: " these guys are scammers "
They claim they found some bugs and vulnerabilities in their platform and they need to fix them but this is not an excuse to stop responding or to delay refunding their customers. Also, the least they could do was to put the website on maintenance mode or to stop accepting new registrations and deposits which they didn't do! Am not a dt member but I'll give them a negative feedback for the moment and will revise/remove it when they fix this issue. I hope some dt members will tag them too.

I mean I would like to check if the number of characters is correct and the format is correct. I tried to verify in some websites, and they tell me the address is not valid. I would like to know what is missing in the address
Each bitcoin address has a checksum which you can verify to check the validity of the address. The number of characters is irrelevant and isn't a reliable way to determine the validity of an ddresse since bitcoin addresses don't have a fixed length. If you usually copy-paste addresses, then what you really need to check is that the pasted address is the same as the one you copied (original) rather than caring about its validity (most wallet apps will warn you when you provide an invalid address).

still no refunded.
That's not a good sign! If they were truly sincere about taking responsibility for this issue then refunding victims had to be their priority. It's not supposed to take that long especially that we are talking about a small amount ~0.42 LTC (about $140). I read their new announcement thread and it looks like you are not the only victim. Another user complained about lising $50 because of the same problem: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394221.msg59855653

... please check what the hell is happened with my account in your site ! I suggest you start an accusation thread on the Scam Accusations board just like user Madd did. You can check it from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5394239.0He has the same problem as you, so I wouldn't recommend anyone to make a deposit on this casino till they fix this issue and refund all the affected users. @OP, you had to make sure everything is working properly on your website before launching it officially and creating an announcement thread. I hope you will not just lock this thread and start a new one as you did last time!

... I think a testnet version of their gambling site would be just the right thing to get beginners acquainted with their platform.
Some if not all game providers give gamblers the opportunity to test out their games via demo mode where they can play with fun tokens that have no real value. This way they can get acquainted with the games and the platform without the risk of losing their money. Some casinos have faucets or chat rains which give their users the opportunity to get few sats they can use to try the platform without making a deposit. I read most replies and it's interesting how, just after few pages, the discussion shifted from "vulnerabilities in gambling websites" to advertising, kyc and many other side topics!

BTW, I think only the mobile version of Electrum is non reproducible. That doesn't apply to the desktop client.
I didn't verify it myself to confirm it but according to Electrum's release notes: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/RELEASE-NOTES, they started supporting and releasing reproducible builds for Android too, and this since version 4.1.3: # Release 4.1.3 - (June 16, 2021) * Builds/binaries: - Android: the binaries (APKs) should now be reproducible (#7263)

tbh, I never heard of cakewallet before and just because it's open source doesn't necessarily mean it's safe and can be trusted. I visited their github repository which you can find here: https://github.com/cake-tech/cake_walletAs you can see, it received only 189 stars and have been forked 55 times! Just to have an idea what those numbers means, you can compare it to Electrum which received 5.6k stars and has 2.7k forks. So, cakewallet is not really that popular and doesn't have abig community. Personally, I won't use it as my main wallet.
