2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 27, 2023, 10:44:18 PM
Against top-tier teams, Tundra is a beast so I guess this match will go the distance and go 3 maps. Liquid seems to be figuring out what this patch offers too, so they're not the scary team that we knew in this meeting and that makes it fair against Tundra.

Well, our prediction that it will go the distance did not pan out. Team Liquid was able to dispatch Tundra within two maps. Luckily I did not bet on total maps so I still won my bet on Team Liquid. Gaimin Gladiators and Team Liquid are now tied with 4 wins and 1 loss record. GG and Team Liquid have retained their momentum from the last major until now. I think these two team are still the teams to beat the next major.

Damn that's rough. I thought they have the chance and the means to defeat Liquid at least one map but they just can't. They really need to discover some cheese strats in order to win, otherwise they'll just get bullied here and there and that's not really great as TI champions. They have the working idea of how to play the game and the meta but it seems that they are lacking in coordination. Oh well, congrats to your bet. Can't remember if I locked my bet on that particular match yesterday and I have to check.

Good find. There are a lot of seemingly harmless post out there that doesn't seem to be problematic when you first scan it. Good thing that you have found out about it first, before the scammer claim his victims here in this forum. It's surprising that even in this day and age, there are still people who can be victims of this scheme that the man is running. Their tricks are obviously not evolving, but they are still getting some victims' funds sometimes.
2403  Economy / Economics / Re: Always Have a financial record in whatever business you own on: March 26, 2023, 11:57:09 PM
This should be the norm. If you don't do this then you're bound to lose your business and may even get legal trouble as well. Businesses are expected to keep track of their profits and expenses. From an operating standpoint, it helps one to check whether they need to make adjustments on something in order to give another thing the headroom to work flawlessly. It is a tedious task, that's why you hire experts to do it for you. Though once you have it all sorted, expect that you'll also have less problems in finance and all that kind of stuff.
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 26, 2023, 11:10:09 PM
Anyway I decided to take Tundra but I put another game from SEA region onto this as I think this is a potential over 2.5 maps game for these two teams

I think this is a good bet. I think Tundra vs Liquid will also go to the third map. I do not know which team will win but I think Tundra will give Liquid a good fight. Some say that Tundra has slowed down since they won the TI but they are still a very competitive team and can dispatch team Liquid. We will see in this match if Tundra can win against Liquid.

Against top-tier teams, Tundra is a beast so I guess this match will go the distance and go 3 maps. Liquid seems to be figuring out what this patch offers too, so they're not the scary team that we knew in this meeting and that makes it fair against Tundra.

Also, thankfully Tundra no longer try to cheese every meta and setup that they have. They're now playing actual dota like everyone else. The question that remains now is this: how long before Tundra discovers a new cheese that will give them an edge against other teams?  Cheesy
2405  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and the fall of Twitter on: March 26, 2023, 10:58:39 PM
He's been acting high and mighty after he's purchased Twitter. A lot of the users I came across in that platform are totally not happy with how Elon is handling the social media platform, especially its employees who are being laid-off everywhere. While the stock valuation of most of his companies are still doing good, I believe that one single mistake from the billionaire will see those prices tumbling. He's treading on dangerous areas right now, and if he's not very careful he may see his downfall sooner.
2406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing looses Vs Finding closure: Any difference? on: March 26, 2023, 10:19:35 PM
That's just wording it positively. The gist of it is, you're still chasing losses. No matter how fancy you construct the wordings are, or how well you think you did on clawing back in on the game, you still chased losses and that's it. You only wasted time if you managed to get even against the casino. And what if you just lost and lost? Then I don't think you'll ever achieve closure if that happens to you, unfortunately.

In the Faze-cloud9 match, Faze was the winner. Faze won 3-1 and became the esl pro league champion. If we look at the scores of the players in the team, we see that other players except karrigan got close kills. They all averaged 80 kills and put forward a good team game.Karrigan is not expected to get more kills, so I take it normal. He is really a good igl and shows it every time.In Cloud9, we see that ax1le and hobbit stand out in terms of score.I see that nafany and buster played badly. We can say that the Faze team deserved the match and won.

I had high hopes for Cloud9 given that two of them are in the top 20 players of 2022. Well, ax1le did perform well and sh1ro is kinda 50-50. They tried, but FaZe is just on another level this tournament and they really are deserving of the title of champions for ESL Pro League. I expected more, but that's the only shot they have. Was a bit short but hey, at least they managed to get into the finals compared to G2, one of the tournament favorites, that got dropped 2-0 by ENCE.
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The future of CBDC in gambling. on: March 25, 2023, 11:59:35 PM
I won't use CBDCs for gambling. It allows you to be tracked and get a lot of information from you on how you spend your money. I'm fine with using them on other daily purchases, but perhaps not on gambling. Cryptocurrencies is what you want to use if you want to enjoy your gambling escapades. It's way easier, less complications, and provides you some level of anonymity that helps you keep the governments at bay. They might have your KYC information on the site, but they don't know how are you spending your money because you don't use what they want you to use.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 25, 2023, 11:43:27 PM

It seems like whatever they're cooking in OG doesn't really work. It has been quite some time since they had their restructuring, but it still isn't working well for them. Maybe they need to go to Div 2 first and do all the hard work, the grind, and the rest of strategizing in there before they can join some majors and be in the first division yet again. They're lacking in a lot of things right now and it's worrying considering that they were performing okay when Chu was coaching and Misha was playing.

Or are they even cooking at all? All I can see was this OG is just a bunch of kids that destined to be relegated on Division 2. Clearly Yuragi can’t carry the team while DM can’t do what ATF doing which is a secondary carry at all. The only player that performing well is BZM which do an amazing job but he alone can’t carry the team.

I don’t know what’s happening to Yuragi but he seems loss his confidence after multiple failure since ATF. Maybe ATF is the real carry of OG. There’s no way to recover this team unless Yuragi awaken on his deep sleep. This is not his original game during his initial sign up on OG.

For sure they have some things going on in the sidelines. They still are coached under Ceb albeit the dude not really a part of OG. They are still receiving some bits and pieces and for sure they're trying to make that work, but obviously it isn't amounting to anything. Yuragi and bzm used to be a deadly force that everyone respected, but it seems that they have taken it on the mellow side of things and are not performing like they used to.
2410  Economy / Economics / Re: Is capitalism killing morality in the name of the law? on: March 25, 2023, 10:14:41 PM
It's allowed to operate because the government benefits. If it doesn't, it most probably wouldn't be legal at all. These industries serve people, albeit somewhat challenging morality of a lot of people too. Whatever the cases is, so long as a large portion benefits, it will be approved or legalized no matter what. I don't know about porn though, because it is illegal here. But banking, IMO, does more good than harm if done correctly. Not a fan of capitalism, but it has its merits.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about this? on: March 25, 2023, 08:56:39 PM
It is a matter of your moral compass. I've seen a lot of religious folks engage in a lot of immoral activities and still attend church regularly. They preach about the teachings of God and does it so in a very condescending manner, as if they are not doing something wrong. Personally, I don't have any problems against these church leaders engaging in these kinds of activities. After all, they don't influence me in any way but those whom they stand up to are the ones that should really think about whether they'll still follow the church leader or not.
2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 25, 2023, 08:33:14 PM
What a surprising win from Monaspa and OG with a disappointing performance as now they're the only team with one series win and potentially become the first team to get relegated unless they somehow find their footing in the next few days and beat both Team Nigma and Entity.

This might be a good spot to fade OG in their last two series as Team Nigma looked decent this week and Entity's wins are convincing enough to put them above OG.

Also, the odds are good on Team Liquid beating Tundra as it's now hovering around 1.78, I think it should go down even further as I don't see Tundra winning this series after that sloppy loss against Ooredoo.

I need OG to win 2-0 as well next to win my acca. I got close to 9 odds with only two game on my acca which is pretty great
That would've been a good win if only OG delivered but I guess it's time to put them on the blacklist or fade them in their last two series.
They officially disbanded the OG team in the series. In the second of the series, OG seemed to pick things up. They have made successful gangs many times in the Jungle, but the game has turned against them again. Monaspa were confident, they pushed too hard in the middle line, so Monaspa was able to get back into the game and quickly took control and finished.

OG underperforming

The 1.78 odd looks really clean For Team Liquid, I'll take that into consideration.

2413  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 24, 2023, 05:11:18 AM
Governments do some things to allow this to happen, but the rest of the weight is on our shoulders. Only us ourselves can elevate our lifestyles and help us get away from poverty. It's not an impossible thing to do, but it is doable provided that you have the right mindset and do not lose sight of your goal. I won't really depend on the government for helping me reach financial stability if I were living within the poverty line. Instead, I'll make use of what I have, make do with what I know, and continue learning to get something for my hard work. I understand the plight of the masses when they organize rallies and tell the government to do something with their lives, but it's wrong to depend everything to the government as they don't have the power to help and lift everyone.
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 24, 2023, 04:33:01 AM
This is pretty silly upset because of that I didnt land my acca. Sucks when you know that Tundra was the clear favourites by miles then somehow they decided to lose 2-0 to OT which is pretty weird.

If there is one thing I learned from Tundra, that is to not put anything on a parlay with them as one leg. They're sometimes bound to lose as heavy favorites. They don't seem to be that consistent especially if there are breaks between tournaments or qualifying games. I would bet on them if they played straight for weeks or days. If not, meh.

I would have gotten myself pretty decent balance if this hit but yeah it didnt. The only thing that I was worried about on my acca was Nigma because they are pretty bad at the moment but Tundra ended up dissapointing me instead

Next time you do a parlay, better remove Tundra on it and you'll be fine. Aside from being the most boring TI champions, they also belong to the most inconsistent ones.
2415  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN]Stake.com NEW SIGN CAMPAIGN l UP TO $160/WEEK l 15 HERO & LEG SPOTS OPEN on: March 24, 2023, 03:24:55 AM
When somebody is being added or accepted after applying here, he will send a PM to that applicant telling that he's accepted. Is this fake pump or whatever term it is?
Post number 308 to post number 316 = 9 posts. Within these 9 posts, Kapokola updated about an open slot for 4 times. Actually, this is the most mysterious campaign where a newbie (0 posts, 0 merits) is appointed as a part of the campaign management, All the campaign's spreadsheets are on the OP but for this campaign it is hidden (posted/updated) after a lot of posts. In other campaigns, accepted participants are updated on the topic but this topic is not. Almost all the campaign goes into CFNP but from the time I am following this topic, I have never seen this topic on CFNP/full (I just checked on ninjastic and I have seen this topic wasn't full/CFNP for any time).

All are updated on this campaigns own Telegram channel. It's true that some members are being removed due to poor post quality as they have their own post quality ratings implemented to make sure that those who are in this campaign aren't really slacking. Also, Kapokala, if I'm not mistaken, is one of those in the management of Stake's signature campaign responsible for giving ratings to the members employed in this campaign. He may be a nobody in this forum given his member rank and his posts, but he's still one of the people who's task to oversee this campaign.

Also, the bumps made by kapokala are also deleted after 24 hours and replaced with a new one, a rule that he's been diligently following, and I don't think that's an issue if the main intent is to keep this topic on the first page for visibility.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest problem you think AI can fix in gambling on: March 24, 2023, 03:17:26 AM
Ais can be employed on fraud detection and suspicious activities that may arouse on user accounts. With machine learning, AIs can easily keep track of the most common and some unusual patterns on accounts that are involved in fraud and suspicious activities. It's one power of an AI developed specifically for one thing: feed it information once, and it will train itself to look for correlations and other links to what you have fed it and bam, your system is secured from one exploit.

But it's important to remember that AI isn't perfect. As people find new ways to cheat, we need to keep updating our security measures and having people watch over everything too, and this is why there will always be a human operator that recognizes human inputs too and feeding it to the AI for learning purposes.
2417  Economy / Economics / Re: Al Transforming Job Market on: March 24, 2023, 02:56:30 AM
While there are concerns about AI taking over certain job markets, it's important to remember that AI is still in its early stages of development - but the development is rapidly advancing at that. At this point in time, it's a viable move to shift your career towards machine learning and AIs in general. I mean, if they're taking away jobs from humans, wouldn't it be a no-brainer to instead work at these AI and just build or maintain them in order for them to work efficiently? I've been in the healthcare industry for almost a decade now, and I'm beginning to think of shifting towards machine learning but I just need a little push, although I must admit that I'm getting inclined to take that route sooner given how fast the development on AIs are.
2418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 20, 2023, 11:59:20 PM
You got 1 part missing: easy access.

If you have some funds lying in your online account, you can easily deposit it to a crypto exchange and then send it to your favorite gambling platform. Within a few minutes you'll easily start playing without having to wait in line, get verified, or all the nonsense that they are doing in physical casinos. Well, some of them no longer requires verification but the hassle that you get from traveling from one place to another is just gone in online casinos. Plus the fact that there can be times that the physical casino is full: you don't have an option but to wait in line and watch other people play until it takes away the excitement from you.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 20, 2023, 11:47:44 PM
The large variety of games sometimes overwhelm me. It doesn't really help at all to see a bunch of titles on the screen that you know a little about. I noticed this especially on slots. While the visuals and sound effects on most of them differ, the content, the gist, and the overall experience is basically the same. I would protest if I find out that one particular slots game hidden deep inside the multitude of games up top have better odds of making you a champion compared to the ones that are readily available without the effort o scrolling. But yeah, Overall what matters to me is the withdrawals, the support, and the fluidity of the UI. If I see those options as perfect, I'll play on that platform for sure.
2420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 20, 2023, 10:26:44 PM
Why not promote a business if it's not scamming anyone? I'm not saying this because I'm promoting a gambling site on my signature, but because gambling platforms create job opportunities and contribute to a country's tax revenue. The only exception I see is in countries that strongly oppose gambling based on religious grounds. If that isn't the case, then I don't think promoting them is wrong, especially if players already understand the risks and consequences of addiction. It all boils down to the player eventually, as it's always a matter of choice to screw up or to not fall prey to gambling addiction.
