2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: October 02, 2023, 08:57:18 AM
Some months a go, I was thinking altcoins may favour me since bitcoin is still unpredictable. I decided to invest my last cash at hand on luno, Eth, buying babe doggy, peg token and tron. I don't really understand how this things works when I bought it was all gloomy without bitcoin but in less than a week my money dried up.

What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?
First what do you mean by Bitcoin is unpredictable,  don't you know that altcoin is more unpredictable than Bitcoin and in fact bitcoin is the best choice of investment among all other cryptocurrencies and for me, altcoin is only for the gambling and nothing more,  anyway the coin you trying to promote may give you 10x returns who knows.

But also know that you can lose all your investment in that coin if it turns out to be a scum shitcoin in the market tomorrow so yeah risk.l risk anyways is either you lose or you gain.
I think we have to be friendly with risk, where it's not just profit that we always take into account, where if something undesirable happens then we are not ready to face it. Therefore, there is a need for risk management, where we have to be good at controlling ourselves from greed and still think clearly when deciding where to invest.
Yes having a risk management plans before diving into altcoin or any other form of investment is very important but more important when you are not taking only risk but gambling with your investments because doing so puts you in a more intense risk position and at some point you will have to abide with the situation whether you like it or not.

So it important to put everything in the category,  and in so doing we have to place priority on the level of risk and capital assurances in each of our decision processes as far as investment is concerned.
2402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies should gain broader payment gateway acceptance soon? on: October 02, 2023, 06:30:38 AM

In this regard, it's worth noting that projects like Coinremittrer are working towards these goals. They are focused on providing solutions that address scalability issues, reduce fees, and enhance transaction speeds, all of which are key factors in achieving broader acceptance for cryptocurrencies. Keep an eye on their developments; they may contribute significantly to overcoming these challenges in the long run.
From your user name,  it seems to me that you are part of the project team and if that be so then I will have a doubt about the project,  unless if you have to prove me and other forum user wrong in that regards that you are just chilling for your project in here,  and instead of commenting and trying to promote your project under other people threads and comments,  why don't you create your own official thread and put everything that we need to know in there and let us carry out our own individual research about the project and it viability in the market.

Of course, any project that aids the scalability of the cryptocurrency market and solves some of the challenges we face in the market today such as high as fees and slow transactions spent are worth taking a close look at,  and since your project promises to keep developing to close that gap it worth looking at but best you have your own thread to avoid chilling for your projects on other person thread such as this one.
2403  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 02, 2023, 06:21:33 AM

Sometimes I see this as a Promotional Measure, some type of casino strategy, the KYC levels, all this sounds like many things must be done so that there is no type of problem, the KYC levels that everyone They speak is precisely to be able to avoid many withdrawal problems, as a player and we are already establishing a playing mode for a casino , the best thing is to Comply with the YC and the level that we want to do something for the withdrawal , we cannot leave everything to chance , because worrying about what we are going to do the KYC check is not the idea either, that is why it is always good to take precautions, I always recommend doing KYC for our favorite casino, so as not to ever have problems, so the casino know that we are regular, loyal customers and that they can do all kinds of things to help us, when you are a customer of a casino for a long time, things are smoother, the KYC is faster to pass the level, everything is Simpler, It is more difficult when you are a player for the first time and very large deposits are made, because they tend to light the alarms, however the casinos now with the KYC and their Policy that they can make certain demands, because the money is Already in the casino.

KYC for a gambler is some how not cool most especially the cryptocurrency users who gamble in online casinos,  asking them for KYC is viewed as an anti-crypto feature since Bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies are designed for privacy protection so having to expose your privacy by giving out your documents for kyc verification is seen as against the fundamental purpose of Bitcoin,  but then since casinos are aware of this,  they tend to place withdrawal limits on kyc and none kyc,  so it now left for the gambler to decide either to go through with kyc to have a better limit when withdrawing big amount that is above the threshold.

For the casino,  KYC is done to avoid several things,  aside from the regulatory compliance that the casino must comply with, another thing that makes casinos to demand for KYC also is for the avoidance of abuse from gamblers who may likely want to abuse the casino's bonus system which KYC is the only way to identify each account and get them verified on the casino and each bonus are registered on their accounts.
2404  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: October 01, 2023, 10:14:27 PM
I asked support the reason and now i am waiting for their aswer... but i wouldn't even be here complain if somehow i was against their ToS, like using VPN or multiaccounting..

Are you using bonuses of Duelbits such as deposit bonus whenever you compete on the tournament? Most of the time user that receives this kind of warning commit multiple account to get deposit bonuses for extra credit on the balance that they can use on tournaments until they hit the multiplier and forfeit the bonus.

This is just my assumption but team decision about this kind of issue is always fixed unless you can provide substantial evidence that will prove your innocence. I suggest to file a complaint on casino guru since this issue needs a 3rd party to check the evidence provided by duelbits.
I believe that the support which the mate have contacted will be in the best position to unravel any hidden secret to what the mate is experiencing and so for that,  to avoid any possible assumptions and further dragging of this discussion,  is important for us to all wait to read what the response the mate get from support a d how their plan to handle the situations.

Although is also advisable to get all the evidences you need taking screenshots as much as possible and also providing other accounts' vital proof.
2405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest need suggestions on: October 01, 2023, 10:08:40 PM
This is a cheap way to try to promote your cheat coun here in the forum and I must say that you have failed in your attempt to misinform forum members on the said profitability and viability of your project,  this is most important to note how cheaty this project will be if there is any project at all.

Because from the loom of things,  this could be another scam project that only exists on the lips of the scammer without any physical development to it.
2406  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake Balance Glitch on: October 01, 2023, 10:03:10 PM
I am a constant player on stake, and the only time I do experience such as the op is when playing a slot or casino game, or even betting, and then I set a currency I have zero balance on, as my main currency.

Aside the above, there have never been a time I had or have a balance and was told I don't have enough balance while placing a bet.

But then again, this is not to completely rule out the possiblity of a glitch which could result to such an error.
I have experience series of glitch before on stake and most time is at that point of staking bet that the glitch happens I get the notification that I have low balance but then my bet is already staked,  so what k do normally is to manually check the bet history to see if my bet was placed previously and how it appears.

I may have fo agree with the point of others that maybe my browser is out of date or another sort of challenge that could have resulted in getting such glitches.
2407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do we need to backup Screenshots balance on exchange? on: October 01, 2023, 09:58:35 PM
Exchange are most vulnerable targets of hackers since they spend the whole life looking for possible back doors to attack the exchange volt and steal funds that belong to traders and exchange together so for that for a trader to be on the safer side,  he next to make adequate plans on how to protect his balance and how much balance he does maintain on the exchange at each point.

This is very important because exchange as a third-party service provider is not a good storage for your coins be it bitcoin or any other coins,  so it best you make efforts to take off your money for exchange once you have accumulated a substantial amount of balance.
2408  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 01, 2023, 09:46:19 PM

Casinos may ask gamblers for KYC verification for various suspicious activities. Now in this situation a gambler has nothing to do. Casinos create their T&C in such a way that they are in a position of maximum advantage in situations where gamblers cannot opt out because they are trapped in the T&C. But it is also true that there are many gamblers who use the casino to do illegal activities like money laundering, and then it would be considered a good step if a casino asks for KYC verification to catch users involved in those illegal activities.

$5000 is the most casino base amount on transactions before KYC is demanded and as long as it goes if the gambler operates within a set limit he will not have KYC demands.

So if you are in within the deposits and withdrawal trench hold and kyc is demanded it means there are suspicious activities from the account.
You are right, every platform online, gambling casinos, exchanges, all have a deposit and withdrawal limit for non kyc users, but this is for the legitimate platform who have decided to follow the rules and regulations laid out for them by their regulatory body.

Aside the above, I have seen and used platforms where one is allowed to deposit but can't withdraw without kyc, and there are other platforms too where a user won't be allowed to make a deposit without kyc verification, Ive come across one casino like that but I forgot the name..

But in all, the long and short of the matter is, any gambler who knows he or she will be depositing and withdrawing big amounts from online casinos, such user should endeavor to pass kyc verification to avoid withdrawal problems especially.
This limit is set for the none kyc accounts to make them feel inclusive and not totally limited from the platform due to lack of none kyc and for such to happen the user must comply to operate within that limit that is set and going forward he must to decide either to go through with the KYC or keep operating within the limited restriction of the no KYC accounts.

But why those platforms agree with such operation is because of the commisions that comes with those accounts and from either the account trading activity or casino wagering of the non-KYC accounts.

Just that, the limitation is the transaction amount and the kind of trades/games that such unverified accounts are allowed access to.
2409  Economy / Speculation / Re: Even Seasoned Analysts Can Get it Wrong on: October 01, 2023, 09:39:54 PM
Bitcoin hard alas have its own way of proving most speculator wrong and that is the beauty of the volatility of Bitcoin,  no one have the ability to control,  influence or predict what the future price will be at all time and this is why we always say that you should do your own research and only hold an amount of bitcoin you can afford to hold for a long time.

His failed speculation is another pointer that Bitcoin goes beyond any whales or an influencer who may think that Bitcoin could easily be manipulated or predicted at whatever point.
2410  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 01, 2023, 09:35:07 PM
That's one lucky break. For the casino to actually send you an email informing you that you are no longer eligible for any bonuses or VIP tiers must feel really good and bad at the same time. If you won top $$$ from their platform, it's understandable that they'll deny you of the bonuses, but still want you to play. It just means that they still value your business but no longer wants to continue losing against you, hence the 'even' playing field they are proposing.

Hopefully your streak continues to another casino, and they don't restrict you from bonuses.
Yeah this shows that the ops is clearly winning the casino and draining out their bonus liquidities and as such will have to give the ops a break from bonuses,  but this does not stop him from depositing and playing on the casino,  I believe that,  even though casino may not include the amount of their bonus allocations to each account on the T&C,  there will still have max bonus for each accounts on the casinos and I am sure the ops have exceeded the bonus allocation that is why he been sent the email.

Aside from threading the body of the post,  if you are not the first to comment on the thread,  you should endeavour to read the other people's comments on the thread if possible read all the comments unless those that are low quality off topics,  doing so will give you the background understanding and help you thought and memory to formulate your on comments.

When they say effortless post,  what that simply means is that you did not put in any extra work to give the discussion your own views and rather you just ride on repetition of what others already said.

I believe is easy to become a quality poster and the only way to do that is to read more than you write, sometimes separate the time for reading from the time for writing let say if you spend 10 hours in the forum and other online things,  you should allocate 6 hours into reading and let say the remaining 4 hours could go into writing,  that way you already have a mental integration with the various topics that are being discussed here in the forum.

I would like to suggest that you lock the thread, you have already gotten what you wanted for creating the thread
2413  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Nigeria @+1 today/ 9ja update thread. on: October 01, 2023, 09:09:48 PM
My brother you try for the thread about Nigerian independence but the truth be say me too don ask questions for the street about this independence and guys no see any reason to celebrate anything about am. If na before wey Nigerians never wake up for the way wey dem dey run this country, people for still dey sheepishly celebrate, buy clothes, do different attire on their own to celebrate but na only government fit do all those once now and do all the showbiz for television. I wonder how many people go listen to the broadcast because now we sabi say everything na wash. No road, no refinery, no security, no job etc everything na lie. So you no fit flog pikin make you still tell am say make him no cry. At least we still know about the jakpa syndrome, the cheating is too much.
Driving by to church today through the city gate Abuja Nigeria I was greeted with a view boards of pictures of Nigeria past president and at the city gate a crowd where gathered as early as 6am to celebrate Nigeria @63 there is no doubt the fact that Nigeria may be lacking in some areas but the fact still remains that we have to celebrate Nigerians for being a strong Nation where God have blessed with abundant human resources,  because even though the government have failed us,  we still remain resilience as a people in pursuit pf our individual despite the numerous economic crisis.

So for the fact that Nigerians are strong survivors is enough for us to celebrate the birthday of the country being 63 is not a joke and we pray and work for a better Nigeria.
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: October 01, 2023, 08:34:05 PM

Gambling 2-3 times a week is still considered active gambler but it will already take a huge amount of time for a woman. I bet despite being an influencer they will spend more time at home doing other stuff they are more passionate about than gambling. If all they are to share is playing slot as an influencer, it seems like an hour is enough to share what needs to be shared.

A man needs more than a lifetime to play poker. If money is not a problem, he will play poker as long as he can of course thats not possible.

Any ways it depending on the amount of time spend I gambling because gambling 2-3 a week to me still look as a minimal gambling to me because I don't spend more then 2 hours on gambling in a days and at most I spend 30-45 minutes in most cases.

But timing differs I understand and I also know that we must place limits to our gambling and that is why I still want to cught down the time I gamble some days,  because I gamble almost everyday except for days that I am occupied during my stipulated gambling timetable which is sometime in the evening.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: October 01, 2023, 08:01:03 PM
If that were the case, I am sure that investigation will be done. Look at Chess tournaments, Chess's got the most advanced AI in there already and even when people are using them to cheat, they can always detect them because experienced players know when something's too good to be true which is the likely scenario that would happen if AI will be used by someone to cheat in a poker tournament especially if you use it on amateurs, you will definitely become a suspect because you're playing too good.
Quite agree with you mate, there is a popular saying In my place that "when a bird learns to fly without perching, the hunter will learn to shoot it without missing".
There is no problem in this world without solution except death.
Poker as a game as been for ages, and will still remains for ages to come, happily, the game have alot of incredible players who are so talented to know when something is wrong or unrealistic, this is why I personally agree with you that even if Ai usage becomes dominant in poker, it will always under the Control of man, the highly experienced players.
What is even the level of the independent of AI?

Can AI perform it task effectively without human involvement,  the answer is know so that point to the high dependence of AI on human contribution for it effective usage,  so for,  poke as an involving games that require skills to work around it made it a professional game with so many incredibly highly skilful players and for that AI dominance may still depend so much on the poker player who chooses to use them to achieve his goals in the game.
2416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 01, 2023, 07:55:44 PM
Some casino if allowed for deposit and after winning close with withdrawing and get verifying account seems closer with scam kinds of casino, usually have chance for withdrawing once or second time before verifying account.

This is unfair way to view the AML policy imposed to the casino by their license provider. Usually KYC becomes required when a user reach a certain threshold of amount which user can withdraw/deposit on the casino using KYC free account. Experiencing KYC when you withdraw is not always a sign that a casino is scam since even trusted casino ask KYC at some point of your game and most likely during one your withdrawal because you increase your money limit by that time.

Just avoid scammy casino and you will be fine given that you don’t violate casino ToS. Only scam casino use KYC to trap user money while trusted casino release immediately the funds once KYC approve.
Usually, there is an imposition of a $5000 balance threshold for none KYC accounts that is to say that when your deposits/withdrawal is below or above 5k you may be prompted to go through KYC verification and for that, we have to make up our mind and also design a means to stay above such restriction if we want to continue to use the casino without KYC.

But for other offences or activities that could also warrant KYC verification by the user in the casino that may not be mentioned,  such as suspicious behaviour and the rest of what have you.
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: October 01, 2023, 04:27:08 PM
So regardless of the number of female social media influences,  the question is are they really active gamblers?
I think women will not be able to play like men who sometimes lack sleep and just spend their time gambling and looking for fun in it, but that doesn't mean that women can't be active gamblers, I often find many female gamblers who play at online casinos but I don't Have you ever looked at a land-based or offline casino because maybe they don't gamble actively there.

Women usually get tired more easily than men who can sometimes stay awake for several days just to gamble and I often see some men have such a heavy addiction that they can even sleep in front of their computer just to gamble and not move from their place until they actually get a big win. , if asked whether women are active gamblers, maybe yes but not as active as men
I agree with you,  men are more prone to a lot of things that make them gamble a lot more than women and even if a woman wants to gamble,  they always do so at a minimal level and that can not affect anything about them,  and that is the reason why we have a low rate of women that are gambling addicts unless in an extreme cases were women could become addicted.

Since the man has to take all the risks in the world and must meet up with family demands and other financial responsibility,  that sense of urgency of need makes the man to risk more than the woman in all circumstances and we can't in any way compare a woman gambler to the male gambler based on the prevailing factors mentioned above.
2418  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 01, 2023, 04:21:43 PM
Such bonus restrictions are somehow familiar to most of us because I can remember I have read in one or two places where this kind of case has been mentioned before and the cause of the restrictions is not far-fetched other than winning too much on bonuses.

So the restrictions in meant for bonuses and that doesn't affect your ratio of winning with your deposits,  well since you already stated a 20/20 winning record,  it shows the casino was done with you on that note and you have to walk away with your bounty and keep playing with your deposited balance.
2419  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 30, 2023, 11:46:40 PM

If someone gambles for fun and not too often then maybe they can still hide their gambling activities from other people but if they have become a gambling addict then they will not be able to hide it. A gambling addict will always need money to gamble and he will borrow from anyone who might give him a loan and that will make people suspect that he is a gambling addict
Well I don't even think it worth it to hide your gambling habits if you are not doing it too much at a go and not an addict,  I share my winning story with my family sometimes,  and in most cases,  they don't even know when I play those games,  I have my home office where I do all my activities and is out of the band for kids so I can gamble and have fun until I am ok with the fun.

Gambling has not interfered with my social life and financial life in any way so for that I don't think anyone around me will have a bad feeling toward gambling for me.
2420  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Do not save your keys on your phone. on: September 30, 2023, 11:40:56 PM
Anyone can save their keys or data where it's most comfortable for them, be it in the phone or written out somewhere.
The fate of theft or mishap can happen anytime and it doesn't really matter where the keys are stored, so long as it can be retrieved when needed and with ease.
This is digital age where wallets and purses get missing as much as phone or other computer devices do.

It's okay to save your keys where it is most accessible to you the owner and it doesn't matter if it on your device or elsewhere.
Agreed with you on this fact on eas of accesisbilty being your major concerned but then also we have to choose from a lesser evil here,  and truth be told,  anythintou store on your phone can be easily exposed to scammers most especially if you frequently connect to the internet and exchange files.

So best way to secure such vital information is offline and which is what is being advised here in the thread,  because is better to secured your Bitcoin becausuthe pain of losing them is worse than the stress of having the token offline.
