Slots can really turn you into an addicted zombie in no time and I know this from first hand experience,I was such a zombie not caring about anything up until 2020 when I hit a big loss and decided with all my will to stop playing.Since then I play 50-100 dollars weekly and I call it a day won or lost session.

I think we all were there for at least some period of time. For me it was only two weeks, a year and a half ago, but I know what you are talking about. It's when the only thing that interests you is playing slots. Actually, I didn't lose much money during those days, but I definitely lost a lot of my precious time.

They are entertaining at the beginning but soon they become your worst nightmare and I never recommend anyone to play slots,in poker and sport betting you have somewhat much more control while in slot machines you just hit a spin button throwing yourself into total randomness which is programmed to make you lose money in the long run.

I wouldn't go so far to say that no one should play slots. Slots should be forbidden for minors, that's for sure. But for adults it's a good thing in many ways. I myself still play slots, but not more than 30-40 minutes per day, and not every day, of course.
2402  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: December 06, 2022, 11:01:58 AM
When Twitter was officially bought by Elon Musk, of course, there would be many desired changes, he bought for $ 44 billion and of course, as a businessman, Elon Musk hopes to get RoI soon, the extreme plan that Twitter will present may conflict with the ideas of most current employees so they choose to resign.

In a good movie of this year, Triangle of Sadness, it was said, “growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell.” I think Musk is not like that. He has enough of money, his estimated net worth is around $181 billion. He's smart enough to understand that adding another $100 billion to that will not make him happier. What he is doing in the recent years, not  only with twitter, is he is trying to make this world a better place. And he is succeeding in that course, in my opinion.
2403  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - Road to Riches raffle taking you to Las Vegas! ✈️ on: December 06, 2022, 09:51:46 AM
So close to each other, it's unbelievable! Good job, guys! And they say, "Bitcoin is unpredictable".  Grin

5 mBTC with just 1X wagering requirement is really a nice prize. Thank you, Bitcasino.io 💜 , for that! Smiley
BTC price is actually unpredictable though it does tend to behave like a stablecoin now and then. If predicting BTC price at any point of time would be easy, many investors would have become millionaires by now.

1x wagering requirement by Bitcasino is great though and it just goes to show that the casino isn't trying to cheat the winners.

Even if it were 10x wagering requirement I wouldn't call it "cheating" because Bitcasino was giving it for free. Basically, if you'd lose all that money, 5 mBTC, you'd still have fun playing, right? But is it possible to lose 5 mBTC through wagering it 10 times? It's really interesting to me, and I think I will conduct an experiment(playing in FUN mode on Bitcasino.io platform) to see what would left of 5 mBTC after wagering it 10 times. It will prove nothing, I know. Like one slot expert, whom I respect very much, once said, "Evidence" based on 1,000 spins is a story evidence, not statistical evidence. Ok, let it be just a story evidence, but it is still interesting, innit? Smiley

Congratulations bud, you are a lucky champ, aside betting, I've played dice several times in the past days, and like you said, I've never really tried the 100x bet because I feel it is impossible to win with that, so I consider it absolutely insane since it's just a waste of time and money, didn't know it was possible win.

Thanks for sharing this here by the way, you've just gave me something new to try when next I hit the dice table on stake.com, If I am lucky like you and won, I will share it here just as you've done.

You are welcome, mate. Just don't expect hitting it from the first try. But I wouldn't mind if you actually did hit it from the very first try and shared about it here. I've never hit 100x from the first try, but once I hit two 100x in a row. How about that? Smiley Normally I stop right after hitting something big(I play manually), but that time I did another roll by inertia, and it was 100x again!
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: December 06, 2022, 06:36:32 AM
~ Twitch is a huge platform with a big community so banning gambling streams won't affect them that much. They will never ban gambling streaming if it will affect their platform badly. I'm sure that they did a series of studies before they made this decision. However, it's another earning opportunity lost for streamers but they can still find other ways to do streaming. It is not the end for them yet, especially those with a huge number of followers.

I think about exactly the same thing: can banning gambling streams significantly affect top streamers on twitch? Yes, they will lose some money, that's for sure, because, I heard, with streaming gambling they receive 2-3 times more payment than they get from other streams, but would they move to another platform if streaming gambling were completely banned?
They will definitely move to another platform,  though it haven't occurred to me to research and see what was the later outcome of this since we are way past the October 18th which was the initial deadline, I believe that if the ban was later enforced, then it should be in full effect by now, I will try to find out later
~

As I see from the latest news, streaming purely luck-based games was banned on twitch, and now Twitch’s viewership is at its lowest point since September 2020, and, among other things, gambling ban has contributed to that, I'm sure.

But the sure thing is that most streamers will definitely move to another platform, I don't even know why they all would have to depend on one platform in the first place, there's Instagram, there's Facebook(though I hate this platform), there's YouTube(I don't know if gambling streams are legal here though), there are a lot other social media platforms where they can move, or better still, they come together and create their own streaming platform with zero censorship/that is completely decentralization.

Yes, look at this news:

Following Twitch's decision to ban some forms of gambling content on the streaming platform, Tyler “Trainwreck” Niknam — one of the biggest streamers on the website for several years — announced his plans to move over to a new streaming site known as Kick.com.

Trainwreck's channel still has a month old video with slots spinning

but it is called "LAST GAMBLING STREAM ON TWITCH". The video's got over 2 million views, and it looks like it was indeed the last gambling related stream by him. But I personally think Trainwreck won't actually leave twitch. We'll see.

Can I watch you play at a site so that I know you win before paying?

Are you even serious? Imagine he agreed. How many games do you want to see to be convinced that he's a great poker player, and it's worth it to learn from him?

If you really considering buying his courses, please read through this whole thread first, apply the knowledge gained from that to your playing poker online, and see the results. It's pretty likely that you won't need no courses after reading and practicing what some posters here suggest.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: December 05, 2022, 12:01:05 PM
~
Usually non-consistent results during free spins bonuses, the amount user can win is capped around 500x, from my personal experience. Hard to believe the house doesn't limit the winnings since the base bets are mostly less than $0.5. Imagine getting free spin bonus in most volatile slots like Tombstone Rip by NLC slot provider and hitting multiplier above 100kx. Btw max win is limited to 300kX per round in such slots, anyways imagine hitting such multi then quit gambling.

It's just your personal experience, and from my personal experience, it's even much less than 500x, but it doesn't mean the amount user can win is capped. You need slots to be coded like that, and we have no evidence of such cases in slots by any provider. Or maybe there are such cases, but I just don't know about them? Please give me a link so that I could learn more.
2410  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: December 05, 2022, 10:42:44 AM
~
This is why I don't quite agree with calling them crypto casinos. They are online casinos that accept crypto payments. A real crypto casino is the one that uses cryptography and the blockchain technology in their games.

I'm sure they are using cryptography in their games, because hash function is cryptography, right? But regarding blockchain technology, how, in your opinion, it can be used in slot games, for instance? You mean using blockchain technology instead of RNG, right? In the case of slots it's thousands various outcomes per second worldwide. How can blockchain technology be of a help here?

2412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 05, 2022, 09:07:42 AM
Also, if it is not a luck based game, how would a casino integrate it into their online games? They would need to either buy a game built based on an algorithmic way to ensure that nobody can cheat by figuring out the algorithm.
If you never knew, the cock fighting is equally a luck base game, as in most cases is not always the biggest cock who wins a fight, just as in our normal MMA fighting, which requires skills, basic experience and more exposure to other cock for fighting will determine if a cock might either win or lose a fight during the main gambling fight.
And this game can be integrated into a programmable form into online gambling

Luck is a factor in everything, but compared to purely luck-based games, cock fighting is definitely not one of them. It can be compared to MMA fighting, you are right, but the big difference is that MMA fighters voluntarily take part in the event, while roosters are basically forced to participate.

We'll see, mate. Smiley I bet on Portugal before seeing your post, but normally betting with high odds on something that's unlikely to happen is what I like to do, because it's more fun imo, and so I sincerely wish you to win this one.

And today I saw another interesting thing for me in Sportsbet.io Specials. We can already make our bets on Oscars!

I bet on Michelle Yeoh because I'm a big fan of “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, and I bet on the same movie to win in the Best Picture category

But what I found out was that I didn't see the most part of the films that can be potentially nominated for the Best Picture. I will start correcting that mistake as soon as I can. Smiley
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real most rewarding Crypto Casino? on: December 02, 2022, 05:46:17 AM
~ Does anyone have any analysis or website with this kind of info statistically laid out?

It looks like you are treating gambling like a serious business. Don't do that, lest you become a victim of various scammers that will promise you the "highest RTP possible", "best daily, weekly, monthly rewards" and stuff, while in fact you won't be able to withdraw any of your money after depositing. Treat gambling as entertainment and play the games you like rather than those where you "can win more". If you have a real job, do not look for additional income, especially through gambling. Make money with your job, and use gambling for relaxation.

I believe it's OK for the user, especially us plebs, to treat the act of gambling more seriously and as a business. It will make us lose less, give is a higher probsbility of winning, and reclaim back some of the advantage the casino over us through house edge. BUT I also have the same opinion as yours that it shouldn't be about "the highest RTP", or "the best daily/weekly/monthly rewards. It should be more about to choose games to play, and the strategy in how to play them to lower house edge. The profit will come by themselves through consistency and good strategy.

Well, I can see you point. If for someone it is more entertaining to treat gambling like business, let it be so. Indeed, free people can choose to entertain themselves however they want, unless other people don't suffer from it. Only if we start treating gambling like business, especially when playing purely luck-based games, we may possibly lose so much money that our close ones can be affected. And that's what I'm warning against.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 01, 2022, 02:06:10 PM
~
and I don't think that would happen if cockfighting or sheepfighting got into the casino platforms.

If you mean online gambling platforms, I agree with you. I think cockfighting is a kind of a thing that people who enjoy seeing it, want to see it with their own eyes, not through a video camera. I wouldn't go so far to call them "perverts", but that's what comes to mind, to be honest. But that's me. I'm not a holder of the universal truth, and, after some working on myself, I'm far from thinking that I know better than anyone, what's right and what's wrong.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 01, 2022, 01:34:25 PM
I don't agree that there's a visible domino effect at all. The bankruptcies are all linked to scams because that's how you call companies that take your money and tell you they're going to keep it safe but really buy yachts and apartments with it. This is textbook scam and there should be no leniency and no attempts to explain them or bail them out.

IMO a domino effect bankruptcy happens when a legit company exposed to a bankrupt one goes down because they realize their investment is lost or frozen in the bankruptcy proceedings.
When a scam company goes down and exposes a scam in another company, it's not a domino effect but a cleansing!

Exactly. Where's the news about crypto casinos closing down around the world? I can't find even a single news like that, but what is more important is that even if one or two casinos were going out of business it would be very far from "The Domino Effect" suggested in the OP.

Overall I think that crypto currencies are already recovering from the latest shock, and crypto gambling, it was never affected by this FUD caused by the FTX crash.
2417  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Games' RTP, variable?? on: December 01, 2022, 12:12:47 PM
I a maner of 50/50 probability 13(and more) same result in a row can happen quite frequently ..
But I think in the case of an inspection what they should do is inspecting your game/coin if it is all regular and searching for eventual shitting elements..

If they decide to just make some number of tosses what guarantees if you not just disabled the rigging system for the time of the inspection! ~

This is really interesting. Is it possible? Do you think it's possible to disable some rigging system for the time of the inspection, and then turn it on again? I mean, of course, it's possible, but I personally think that in reality inspectors are perfectly aware of such possibility, and there are measures in place for preventing it from happening.
2418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: December 01, 2022, 11:36:43 AM
In reality.... you should be able to win with whatever bet you are placing... FREE or not, because the outcome of the bet is dependant on the Client / Server seed and Slot machine outcomes are determined using a Random Number Generator (RNG)

We do not know what proprietary software are used by the developers of the casino, but we do know that the 3rd party providers of slots are not influenced by the casino. (So in theory... all bets made on 3rd party games, should be provably fair)   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Now the in-house games might be a whole other story... because those games are controlled by the casino developers.  Huh Huh Huh

But it's the in-house games that are really provably fair, from my experience. So, I don't think we should worry about those games.

~ Actually, there are many gambling sites that are giving away free sips, and those spins are "literally free": whatever you win from them is yours with no additional wagering requirements. Check out twitter accounts of the established gambling platforms, subscribe to their telegram channels, Reddit and stuff. As I said above, you won't make a living from that, but it's a nice bonus. Wink

True so better not expect to get filthy rich on free spins.  The best we get if we are lucky is to have a decent amount of win that can funds us for a day or two of our gambling session.  Most free spins are set to the minimum bet, 10 cents or 20 cents so winning max on this will never make us rich. ~

Well, it depends on what you call "rich". It is true that free spins are mostly 20 cents, but considering the possible multipliers, 10,000x, 50,000x and even higher, it still can be a decent win.

But normally, when you get free spins, you have to play them on one particular slot, and the max win on that slot can be much less than 10,000x, so you are right overall.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: December 01, 2022, 10:59:12 AM
Gambling site is not a bank, nor it is an exchange. Most gamblers, more than 90% of them, deposit on a gambling platform only what they can afford to lose. They are not like "The more money I invest in it, the more profit I will get." Only sick people think that way, only so called "problem gamblers" see gambling as some sort of a business, and, fortunately, there's less than 10% of them among gamblers. So, can it be mandatory for gambling sites to show proof of money to those people, to problem gamblers? I don't think so. Those people need professional medical treatment rather than "proof of money", something that will likely only worsen their condition.
That is true for some but I think there are some who bets more than what they can afford because this is gambling man and it is addicting or someone will get annoyed when they lose so they will try to deposit again in the hopes of recovery. Also there are gambling sites that can work like a bank or an exchange where they allow gamblers to invest money on them.

If you are a gambler whose aim is to make profit, you believe that the more capital you have the more your chances of winning because you can be able to spin more and there are cases where big multipliers came out the longer you play the game. This is why showing proof of money is necessary.

This is a horrible approach to gambling, and I would advise strongly against it. Although it is true that the higher your bets, the more you can win, we shouldn't forget that we are always a bit more likely to lose. That is why we should never risk more than we can afford to lose, no matter how big our imaginary potential rewards can be.

As for the "showing proof of money", I think only governmental regulators can say if that "proof" is really a proof. Regular folks like us can be easily fooled.
2420  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China playing with fire on: December 01, 2022, 10:26:53 AM
~The war between China and America might not end in years. But I am sure China knows the consequences of attacking Taiwan because America and its allies might would protect that Island with all their might. They would want to prove to the world that their refusal not to directly fight in Ukraine is not a sign of weakness. I am guessing that an attack on Taiwan would be the beginning of the Third World War and I am sure that no country wants to suffer devastative consequences of this war.

That's why it will never happen. The last thing Chinese government wants right now is a global war. China is not North Korea where brainwashed population really hates West. Chinese people don't hate West. Many millions of them are earning good money cooperating with Western companies, millions visit the USA each year and millions visit Europe. They would rather overthrough their government than engage in a war with the civilized world.
