2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 14, 2019, 11:08:44 AM
The importance of whitepaper in a project development cannot be underestimated because it serves as the piece which provide all the necessary information about the project, its idea, the team behind and the product of the project. Most importantly, it tells investors and readers the road map of the project.

true, whitepaper is very important because the project development infrastructure is summarized in the whitepaper but the problem is there are many fake whitepapers, many scammers are revolutionizing other project whitepapers to make it look real. sometimes I find it hard to tell the difference.
This is the major reason I believe that we should not rely on the content of the whitepaper alone, white paper is very vital, and without it, we cannot even do the research that we want because that is what will give us the clue to know if the said project is genuine or not. At least from the white paper, you yourself could already even tell that the paper is fake because of the duplicity of it.

From white paper, we would be able to pick some research on the team that is stated on it and know if they are genuine by trying to communicate directly with them, and also be able to research on their level of experience, because I learnt that some scammers do go to the learnt of even hiring some people to act as team and can even be contacted.
2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 14, 2019, 08:55:08 AM
how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?

I don't usually keep tabs on losses and wins while playing casino games. I used to earlier but that often led to keep up gambling more trying to build up better stats ....and gambling in long run you know which way it goes so it never worked out for me and I made it out of habit now.

Nowadays I just keep some parlay bets from sports book which I won beating some good odds.
I think you should start learning to do that. I was once like you, never paying attention to my loses or keeping records until the day I noticed the money I had kept for something very important was all gone and the only place it could be traced to was gambling. I felt very hurt and I mean really hurt because if I was keeping records I would have known earlier that I have exceeded my limit.

I later won big after my loses anyway but forgetting the losses made wasn’t something so easy to do. I think we would eventually forget at the end but it might take long, not necessarily after winning but after healing from the loss experience.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 14, 2019, 08:07:11 AM
Just for fun is just a statement, but the inner mind always agonize for a win. Not only win, the earning is the big thing that makes the common people spend good time on gambling even after loses. In simple terms, mentioning it just for fun is a way to pacify thyself out of the loses. Think of gambling without money or an earning possibility, none will say just for fun anymore.
You are right, I think a lot of gamblers who use the terms playing for fun, either do not know the meaning of this or they just use that to exonerate themselves from being classified as gamblers playing for money. I don’t understand the shame in being known for a gambler, its not the same as stealing. Just a hardworking individual that are working hard to make a living, but because of what the community has made gambling look like, everyone would now be claiming to play for entertainment and within them they are after the money.

Like you said, let’s take money out of gambling and see how many gamblers would be left, if they are truly playing for entertainment, there are a lot of free games, why choose crypto games that still involves payment.
2404  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: September 13, 2019, 07:45:49 PM
Venezuela, first of all, needs sound management of the state economy. Without this, no Venezuelan cryptocurrency will save. If the economy is not effective and the funds are thoughtlessly used at the discretion of President Maduro, the country will steadily become poorer. Cryptocurrency can save some time against inflation, however, if this situation has dragged on for years, cryptocurrency will not help here.
Besides developing economic management, I think Venezuela must also form a healthy government, many officials think about themselves. By using cryptocurrency, I think it will improve the economy, if many people invest in crypto and the price of bitcoin soars
If many of them invest in cryptocurrency, it would only help the already existing holders to get their money out of the market quickly while they get locked in for another period of time, till they get other high investors to out in money.

I don’t even know exactly what is going on about Venezuela and its crisis anymore because it has really been long that I read news about them, and I do hope that they have sort dot whatever issue that they have that is making them have all those problem, if they have not solved it, then the only solution to their problem would just be for them to change their leader first before they can even think off using cryptocurrency to stabilize their economy. At this their level, I don’t see cryptocurrency helping out.
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im sick and tired of this Bitcoin on: September 13, 2019, 07:12:52 PM
I think trading is very vital issue for every traders. Those who can cleverly done it he is gainer. First i will say crypto trading is different from another as usual trading so that you must have to study more and more before trade here. On the other hand now market is down-warth so you have to make invest very very carefully and the coin in which you are investing, have to know its future planning and roadmap as well as. So if you give your step carefully you can win here.

Thanks.
There is no different in trading generally, in trading cryptocurrency, I got the knowledge through Forex trading and I must tell you that it is the same thing, but the difference is just the volatility, cryptocurrency trading volatility is far higher than that of Forex and this has been the challenge with so many people as they are not able to manage the volatility of cryptocurrency trading.

Most successful trader of cryptocurrency is those that have developed the strategy and skills to understand the volatility and how to deal with it. It is the volatility that created the high risk that we are talking about today, and the moment that you can manage the risk, and then I think that issue would be solved already. So trading crypto is quite easy also if you can manage it well.
2406  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to predict Bit coin price. on: September 13, 2019, 07:04:48 PM
Any body here now how to predict bitcoin price. Or is there a hint how when to buy and when to sell bit coins. Or how to make profits on buying and selling bitcoins.? I want to try buying and selling crypto currency.

The way you sound in your submission seems to me that your are some how desperate in making money and such spirit is not good in trading crypto currency as that may make you lose at the end of the day. You can start learning trading by opening an account with an exchange and start with small about of money and learn from any of your mistake.
I didn’t think that a little bit of desperation is bad, when you are desperate, it will ginger you to take the small profit unlike those who are usually not in a rush, or those who are too confident about their trade, when they see profit, they feel it is either too small or they feel they can do better and you see them losing everything.

I think that desperate person will be able to trade right and also will be able to protect his capital. But like you said, everything all relies on the level of understanding and the level of knowledge that has been built. Every trader needs a very sound learning about trading and once there is sound learning, they will be able to know the right time to buy and sell like part of what the op wanted in his post.
2407  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 13, 2019, 06:45:08 PM
Black money in Indian economy is one of the main factor that causing them still as an under developed country,in the past they tried demonetization to bring all the black money out but the political influences of ruling party got the most benefits.

There is no actions about the crypto currency in India and only there is banking ban which is still unclear yet.
Black money? what do you mean by black money because this is the first time that I am hearing this, pardon me please if my question is much, but just kindly explain to us what the black money you said is India’s problem is all about?  For the cryptocurrency ban, it might just be people that blew it out of proportion really.

I am not sure that the government form their presidency has even taken any action again cryptocurrency, and I think the person I read started this was one mayor before he left and till now, he has still not said anything about cryptocurrency gain and I am sure that the case that was even in court will surely die down slowly because it seems to me that they are beginning to understand the whole cryptocurrency technology.
2408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dead coins... on: September 13, 2019, 05:03:53 PM
I guess first when registering at CMC, this project manipulates sales charts. Perhaps many people have talked that many projects are trying to manipulate the sales charts, so they can enter the CMC. However, once this project can enter in the CMC, the Dev is no longer developing this project. Because it is true that the project is not able to compete with the others, eventually the coin becomes dead.
Moreover, we have thousands of altcoins in the market and I am not sure that coinmarketcap will have the tools to always monitor some of these dead coins, except maybe they get hints through post like this one, I also assume that coinmarketcap is trying to act as a data collation company and if you talk of those companies, they should be able to provide information on even dead coins at any time in future no matter how long, and not only dead coin, and also on all the projects that we have in the market.

I am just thinking in this direction of yours too of what could make those project still remain in cmc, and I think that you have a very valid and reasonable point there also on those coins having fake volume, but it means we have some top coins too that are not supposed to be where they are.
2409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How bad is other altcoin value on: September 13, 2019, 11:25:52 AM
Critically observing the rate at which bitcoin value is low at this time, I now imagined how low other altcoin will be by now, even with bitcoins superiority. What is your view?
I think this will be over soon. When the value of the alts reaches a very low level in the near future, when bitcoin dominance reaches 71% - 73%, then the market will reverse. because when there are too many transactions in Bitcoin but the price still cannot push, traders will lose faith and start selling Bitcoin to buy and hold altcoins.
That is the general sentiment and that will happen soon. The market will balance again.
Most altcoins have already reached their bottomed and there is no where they are decreasing too again, before bitcoin started its bull run in April, it bottomed and it was at the point where it could not go low any further that it started increasing, and I am sure that this is the same pattern that altcoins too will use, the they altcoins will start their own surge will not be announced just like bitcoin, and we can see how some people, that could not place an order for bitcoin when it was $4000 was still regretting because they never saw bitcoin surge coming, and they were expecting the value to keep going down again because of the bear market.

There is another chance of altcoins for us now and I think we should not throw this one away, we should just invest and then wait for as long as we can.
2410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: @@@@ ALTS > BTC Change my mind!! @@@@ on: September 13, 2019, 08:52:50 AM
Please convince me why Bitcoin is better then ALTS I would really what to hear your opinion Smiley
Everyone is welcome Smiley
When you mention alts, you have to be specific about them , because we have so many coins in the market that are alts that we don't even need to start debating or arguing on before you know that they should not be compared, but if we are to discuss about alts, we pick the first 2o coins here, and I would not say that bitcoin  is completely better than them, but one true thing that has ever made bitcoin standard out is that it is the only one true decentralized coin that runs on full decentralization which its operation can still not be controlled.

We have some alts anyway that has the functions of bitcoin too like Ethereum and are quite faster, but people will always rely of bitcoin more because of background and being the first, but not like we don’t have alts still performing better.
2411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 13, 2019, 08:31:14 AM
yes whitepaper is very important because the summary of a project's data is in the whitepapper, every time an investor wants to invest in a project the main thing they will see is whitepapper. so the importance of whitapaper because that's the essence of a project.
That is right, it is actually supposed to be the function of whitepaper, most of the solid projects that I did in 2017 caught my attention through their whitepaper, and during that time, whitepaper was far enough to judge the future of the company, but nowadays, it is a different thing as whitepaper is no longer enough to really decide if the project would be useful, genuine or not.

Many developer now because of their childishness, or could I call it laziness just duplicate the whitepaper that they see, rewrites it and then present it to the public as the new concept or a better system to the existing one, this is why I don’t pay much attention to whitepapers again now, I just concentrate on researching more of the team and project eternally.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin get banned worldwide? on: September 12, 2019, 08:15:33 PM
Bitcoin transactions are not anonymous because the transaction can be seen in a blockchain but you can't just see who are the owners of the addresses.

There are some countries that banned cryptocurrency in their country but there are still ways to have access into it. I don't see Bitcoin to be banned worldwide because there are some countries that already accepted it and in the succeeding years, I know that more countries and establishments will accept it too.
If they can't see who the owners are, then they will not be able to tax the cryptocurrency then, and this is what I feel is the major problem of government with bitcoin, but they fail to realize that even in taxing fiat has not been easy, they don’t get to even tax everyone easily.

Government are supposed to look beyond the tax benefit of cryptocurrency but the main economy benefit, cryptocurrency is such a system that generates huge amount of money that I am sure that the operator will generally pay his tax when due, and moreover, people will still one way change the currency to fiat which will definitely pass through their bank, and from there, they can place their tax on the bank account owner, I think these are the chances they still see that has made them not to ban cryptocurrency.
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still "Finding Satoshi" then ... on: September 12, 2019, 07:43:44 PM
Of course, people will always be interested in the personality of the creator of Bitcoin. However, it seems to me that it's time to stop looking for the real Satoshi Nakamoto.
Firstly, he himself wanted to remain anonymous and we see that they took certain steps for this. Therefore, his opinion must be respected.
Secondly, the probability of its detection decreases every day, because too much time has passed. Most likely, if the real Satoshi Nakamoto does not want to reveal himself, no one will prove that he is this person.
And thirdly, for bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, it will be beneficial that no one has a patent for this invention and it is considered an invention of the people.
You know that humans are always curious generally and out of curiosity is when we have developed some of the great things we are using now and it could even be out of curiosity that satoshi created what he created, and he would want to see the effect of it having known that the system has both negative effect and positive effect, so he would definitely remain hidden until he sees and he is sure of which of the sides will be more effective.

I believe that the positive sides of bitcoin will overshadow its negative side and once bitcoin is able to take the world to a new and greater height he wishes for , he would definitely come out, but for now, we have to respect his office and decision to remain silent and stop bugging ourselves with all those curiosity.
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 05:29:12 PM
I think France has a good chance now. I mean they will play with Argentina and I think Argentina played their best game and now will be eliminated, France looks strong and going very well with both a great team play but also awesome individual talents as well.

On the other side Australia and Spain are both amazing teams, they will beat each other and one of them will be eliminated anyway, doesn't matter which one, it is a shame that they will cancel each other out and only one will come up. That means France will play with a team who is tired after playing an amazing team and came all the way here whereas they will have the superb hype of beating USA and Argentinian which beat Serbia. Hence, from now on my favorite is France but this world cup has been wild so I don't know what will happen anymore.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between binary option and gambling? on: September 12, 2019, 04:23:21 PM
The difference between binary option and gambling in my own understanding is gambling is a high risk than to trading but both are risky if lack of skills and knowledgeable in trading in the gambling aaide from the skills it a pure luck and not advisable as spurce of income binary option os part of the trading metho which advisable as source of income in have full skills and knowledge before investing.
I am sorry to ask this question please, with all honesty, do you understand the meaning of what you wrote down here or maybe you should read all over again. No offense please, I just feel you were probably sleeping and typing while dropping this comment but anyway, I have always known you for very constructive post and it is the more reason why the errors I found on this post is quite questionable.

They are both risk and that doesn’t make them different but even alike, the difference for me is that one is a risky game that is worth playing while the other is not worth it at all. If you ask me which one worth is my answer will be Binary option.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 12, 2019, 03:58:45 PM
As a strategy and money management system, horrible, you are guaranteed to lose or make very unimpressive percentage returns.

However, in short term scenarios when a revert to mean is highly expected, a grid system or a modified martingale can be applied with pleasant results; for example it's a popular approach in FX trading, when after massive moves a currency mean reversion becomes highly likely...
You sound like you have had an experience with the strategy and I feel you are still hurt also. It’s one of those things in the game sometimes we lose and sometimes we gain. I still feel pained to know that I actually paid to learn this terrible strategy that made me loose. It’s one thing to just get to know about a strategy, try it out and it fails and it is another thing to actually pay to learn a wrong strategy.

In 2018, I met a so called gambling expert that promised to expose my eyes to everything I need to know about online gambling and how to become entirely successful and make cool money, I paid about $50 for this lesson and he talk me the best secret to winning in gambling is the strategy which I tried but I lost all my money. It still hurts but I must learn to let go.
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 12, 2019, 03:23:21 PM
I have done a couple of times but it doesn't end up great for me, Well I guess it will be on a different story for other people and base on my luck it really sucks, but I guess it really doesn't go that well luck surely take random turns maybe it is not just for me when I play out the side of majority, That is why when taking a bet I would always pick the sure fight, But there are surely some time that the majority may lose I am not just good at picking the right stuff, well that is just how gambling for me.
There is one saying I always hold unto that majority has the game, it is sometimes not true but it is 90% true and accurate, so in my opinion, I will say that it is better to always go with the crowd, this is what I do always. That someone went against the crowd and it flavored him does not mean it will always be that way. It possible that he was only lucky.

I have always been doing this for some time and I must admit that it works well for me, although sometimes it fails and I wish I had hadn’t followed the decision but then looking  at the number of times it flavored me, I am more thankful and fulfilled that I always stayed with the crowd.
2418  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has no practical use and could be damaging to the economy! on: September 12, 2019, 02:05:21 PM
Anyone that assert or submit that bitcoin has no practical use must have been leaving in space not to have seen how events have been unfolding and how it  has been impacting the Fintech industry. Regardless of hate towards bitcoin, it gets stronger.
In a football field, not everyone in the field that are players or viewers, some are just bench warmers, they are neither interest in playing foo table are even watching the football, they are just there to warm the bench and that is how we have many people in cryptocurrency market that are not here for anything meaningful, they are not a believer and they are not an investor, but I think because they hate good things that would liberate some people, they come to say all manner of things that will discredit the system, and I think that some of us has really go above that and we know what to believe and then hold on to that which we also believe. Bitcoin has been very useful to me now for years and I never regret ever getting to know the technology of bitcoin.
2419  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Halving Countdown and Other Data on: September 12, 2019, 01:34:21 PM
I can't wait to enjoy the halving bitcoin that will happen, because surely the price of bitcoin will experience an increase in price, the strong influence of demand and the effect of the total results for the mining that will have a little impact on the price of bitcoin.
Bitcoin would have started having some increase even before the halving, so the halving might not even come with much surprise. The halving is slated for May 2020 I think, and for the last quarter of this year I think that bitcoin would start its bull run again like it did in that April, and it would do this to next year till it goes sideways for other altcoins to experience their own surge also.

Although the halving will still have its own effect, but I have learnt not to rely on halving again as factor after the halving of Litecoin really failed as my investment in Litecoin is still the same way it has been for a very long time now, and I remember that people were believing that halving bull run with start, but seems that is not how it works really.
2420  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: September 11, 2019, 06:37:12 PM
Can i ask some advice from trading experts here, How could i trade safely and assure possible profit from my investments?
now trading is a good solution besides being a bounty hunter, if you have a few coins in your wallet then pay attention to the prices on the market and don't sell at low price. about safe trading I recommend that it is Binance because many people trade there.
This suggestion is suitable for coins like Ethereum, bitcoin and some top coins that we have in the market, or any coin that you feel has a very real use case which I dint think that we have much of them right now other that the top 50 coins. Taking decision to sell some altcoins when they are down has never been a mistake sometimes.

There was a time that Docademics came to the market and I got my campaign allocation from them , the value of the coin raised from 0.01 to 0.3 within a short space of time, it started dropping and at the point that it dropped to 0.2, I sold my coin, and everyone was blaming me for doing so after they read the whitepaper, but ask me what the value is today, docademics is back to 0.01, though I still believe in the future of this coin, but I would have lost out if I had not taken that decision to sell.
